The best wedding anyone could ever ask for! We held our wedding at The Last Drop Village on April 6th this year. We had 92-day guests and around 200 in the evening. It was AWESOME! Liz, our wedding planner, is 100% the best! She took care of every little detail from start to finish and on the day, Jackie, Zoe, Daniel, and the team made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and all of our guests commented on it. I don't have enough space to write all of the positive comments that we have on here, but I will say that if you are planning a wedding at The Last Drop, don't even think twice, you will love it!

We got married here on the 22nd of July, what can I say but other than perfect from start to finish, Liz who organised the wedding and credit to the hotel and all her team. Made our day really special and took control of everything. The room and the food for both buffets were outstanding!!! Everyone commented on how good everything was. The wedding suite we had was perfect, decorated for us with flower petals and swans made out of towels. The staff behind the bar was amazing nothing was too much trouble for them and all of them looked so smart and were really polite. The breakfast the morning after was WOW, not one person made a bad comment it was one of the best breakfasts if not the best breakfast I've ever had!! The hotel is just perfect in every way. Do not hesitate to stay here or book your wedding here because you will not find anything better!

From the beginning to the end, what can I say what a truly amazing experience our wedding coordinator was (Mia) she was in hand whenever we needed to talk through anything with her and reassured us. The whole day ran like clockwork with both us and our guests in awe of how well it all came together. Wedding Day Being our second marriage we wanted to make a weekend of the celebrations with all our special family and friends. The venue at the Last Drop is amazing and the staff could not be friendlier and more attentive, especially the Wedding Planning Team Liz and Mia helped by Tom at night, our day was made truly amazing thanks to these individuals, nothing was too much trouble, all they wanted us to do was have a great day they took all the stress out of it. Our wedding day perfect venue We picked the Last Drop Village complete wedding package venue with family and friends and what can I say only wooow. The wedding coordinators, both Liz and Mia could not have made my day any more magical, nothing was too much trouble for them. I stayed for 3 nights in total and enjoyed the surroundings, the food and the staff all over the hotel were excellent. I looked at different venues before deciding on this one but to be honest my budget was catered for and everything was beautiful. I would like to say a big thank you to Liz, Mia and Zoe who were always on hand throughout my stay and all the rest of the staff at the hotel wherever you chose to eat, it was such a pleasant experience and I can honestly say if you're thinking of a wedding venue you will not be disappointed. My wedding day 3/6/23 - OUTSTANDING! I just got married here on the 3rd of June and honestly I don't have to words to say how truly incredible it was. I started with Jaqueline as my wedding co-ordinator before she went on maternity leave and I was then in the best of hands with Mia and Liz. They could not have done more for me if they had tried. They did everything to make sure my day was perfect. I was definitely a worried bride, always panicking about things and both Mia and Liz were always on the other end of the phone or email to reassure me. They went above and beyond, to the point they were practically my bridesmaids on the day, they took care of everything and nothing was too much. The morning of the wedding, naturally my belongings were scattered everywhere, they literally carefully took everything and made sure it was all safe. This was something that meant a lot especially during a stressful morning, I hadn't a single worry about the venue whatsoever. The wedding itself was incredible, the room, the staff, everything all were out of this world. I couldn't have asked for anything more honestly. Mia and Liz were by my side the day before, running around with me helping me do the little bits I had to do, always there in case I needed a drink or something to eat. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough especially the Penine Suite. The whole day I felt like the most important person in the world. I wish I could do more to thank Mia and Liz because my wedding wouldn't have been what it was without them both, they are fantastic, experienced wedding planners and if you are looking for a stunning venue, this is it. My day ran behind and there was no issue pushing back food etc, everything was accommodated just for me. Thank you to all the staff at The Last Drop for making my special day perfect! Especially thank you Mia and Liz!!

Perfect Wedding Venue We had our wedding at the Last drop on May 20th 2023 in the Penny Farthing Suite. We thank Liz for being so accommodating with our requests, she was instrumental in the planning and could not do enough to ensure that our suggestions and needs were considered. The bridal suite was a perfect environment for getting the bridal party ready, the bridesmaids, hairdresser, photographer and makeup artist had fun, getting us ready, we were even allowed to bring our dogs to stay with us! We had the most perfect day in the most beautiful setting and location. Liz, Mia, Nasser and his team made the day flow like clockwork, nothing was to much to ask, all the staff were very polite and made our friends and family feel special. The food was amazing, with all our dietary requirements catered for. To top it off, the weather was beautiful which made this picturesque village even more glorious. We would highly recommend the Last Drop Village Hotel as a perfect wedding venue.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Liz, Mia and every member of staff that had a part to play in our wedding day. We had a fantastic day from the moment we woke until the last song was played at our evening do. Wonderful Wedding Reception! Our wedding reception was held in the Penny Farthing Suite at the Last Drop & it was fabulous. Our guests kept commenting on the lovely venue & said what a great time they'd had. We can't rate the staff highly enough, special thanks to Liz & her team for making the planning so easy & enjoyable, looking after all of us on the day & making sure everything ran smoothly. We are so pleased we chose the Last Drop & would recommend it for any size or style of wedding. We chose to have afternoon tea, beautifully presented, followed by a hot buffet in the evening & it was just right for us. An overnight stay in the bridal suite was included and it was the perfect ending to a wonderful day. Best wedding venue in Bolton!

HARRINGTON WEDDING 28.04.2023 What an amazing venue, we booked our wedding here over 18 months ago, after we had attended another wedding. The wedding coordinators Liz, Jacqueline & Mia have been amazing, keeping us informed on every detail ready for our big day. On the day, Liz made sure everything ran smoothly and kept coming to visit me whilst getting ready to ensure I was okay. The day ran like a dream, everything was done to perfection, and the venue Penny Farthing was beautiful. The food was very complimented by all who attended, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff on the day of the wedding. Honestly, the full day was perfect and the quality of the food was excellent. The duty manager, Nassa was brilliant he ran through everything with myself and the groom and he stayed for the full wedding ensuring that we all had the best time. The hotel room was dressed beautifully for us on the night of the wedding and every detail was amazing. Our wedding guests all had breakfast the next morning in The Drop Inn Pub the day after which was perfect for us all. There are no faults whatsoever about this place and we look forward to going back for our year anniversary. Thank you so much everyone at The Last Drop Village for making our wedding day the day of our dreams.

We needed a venue fairly close to our home for a small family only wedding at short notice as we are both in our 80s and approached The Last Drop Village wedding planner, Liz Blackmore, who could not have been more helpful. She soon figured out which rooms would suit us best and showed us around. The venue was ideal. On the day, the service was excellent followed by an Afternoon Tea for all, a service they are renowned for, we would certainly recommend this venue for small or large weddings as the pictures available.

The best wedding ever. We have had to take our time to think about what to say in this review because we didn't even know where to start. Since we first booked our wedding back in 2018, Liz and the whole team have been absolutely amazing. There has not been a single request that we have made, from date changes, room changes for the ceremony, guest alterations to even a room change for a bath (the wife's preference) that the team did not do their utmost to cater for. Liz makes you feel that you are the most important person there and every single meeting we had in the build up made us feel that they care about you and your wedding. You are not just a customer but a part of the Last Drop family. We were impressed and blown away from the build up but then came the day itself and we don't know where to begin on this one. We have been to weddings of family and friends before which were all great but could not have imagined for one moment how special this day was going to be. From the very start of our wedding, every single detail was taken care of. There was not a single moment that we could say was the best because Liz and the team made every part of our day so special, including going hunting down the presents that had found their way into the storage room. I will quote what many guests (and the photographer) said..."this is by far the best wedding we have been to or been a part of". That is down to everyone at Last Drop Village and for everything you did for us. If we could get married again week after week we would because that day was the most special day in our lives and it is because of what Liz and everyone at Last Drop did for us. I would highly (and I mean HIGHLY) recommend that any potential couples really consider Last Drop Village for their wedding. We don't see Last Drop as our wedding venue, we see Last Drop as a part of our family and will always be our special place. Craig & Emma ❤️

Fabulous staff. We had our wedding here in Feb 23. We found out 5 weeks before that our original venue closed down, and in a panic called Liz at the Last Drop. She immediately said yes to everything we had planned, which was quite unbelievable. We knew straight away we were in good hands and we felt so calm, despite the madness that had happened. We took all her advice and were amazed at what she managed to sort for us in such a short amount of time. Nothing was too much trouble and it was all done with a smile. I have spent weeks trying to think of words that will justify how amazing everyone was for us, especially Liz, but I'm fairly sure the words don't exist. The bar and waiting on staff were great and were keen to help. Nasser was also great as our MC on the day, keeping everything organised. Again, he went above and beyond for us. The venue itself is beautiful but the staff really made our day everything it was, we will always be grateful.

Me and my husband had our wedding breakfast and reception here on Saturday 4th June 2022. Our day couldn't have been more perfect. The staff at the venue couldn't do enough for us from start to finish. Being a person who overthinks and worries my whole wedding day was put at ease by our amazing wedding planner Liz and the team. We cannot thank our wedding planner Liz enough, she is AMAZING. From our first meeting with Liz up till and on our wedding day she could not do enough for us. Liz promptly responded to any questions/queries and made us feel so comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. Liz and the team ensured that multiple dietary requirements were met on our big day. Our master of ceremonies Zoe was also amazing ensuring the day and evening ran smoothly. Me and my husband want to thank the team at Last Drop for making our day so perfect. If we could do it all again we would!

A Wedding To Remember My husband and I got married at Last Drop Village on 28/10/2022 and throughout the whole process Liz Blackmore was an absolute godsend. Nothing was too much trouble and she really looked after us while we planned our special day. We had exclusive use of three function suites for our day; the Chetham Suite for the ceremony, Mimosa Suite for the wedding breakfast and Penny Farthing Suite for our evening reception. Liz made sure our ceremony and breakfast suites were set exactly as we wanted them to be with our place settings and favours set perfectly. We were also assisted by Rhodri and Franco throughout our ceremony and wedding breakfast. They made us feel like the most important people in the world! Our wedding breakfast was delicious with huge portions! Everyone commented on how delicious and well presented it was and how unusual to be fed so well during a wedding breakfast! Huge thanks to Anthony the chef for providing a delicious meal! For our evening reception, Liz introduced us to Zoe who would be looking after us for the evening. What a lovely lady she was and so very helpful! We had an incident with a guest that was required to be removed from our party and Zoe took control and ensured this incident did not affect our evening at all. Finally, our wedding night was made all the more special by the suite we were provided with for our night! It was HUGE with a sitting room, huge bedroom and big bathroom! We felt very special indeed and would definitely recommend the Last Drop for any function! We can’t wait to visit again!

From first meeting our wedding coordinator, Jacqueline Tulloch she showed us the Harmony Suite which was perfect for our wedding, going through every detail and making our whole day perfect. The location was lovely with its own spa facilities and plenty of areas to keep your guests together for drinks and snacks. A special thanks to the Restaurant Manager and his staff. The only thing we could find fault with was we could not change the weather. Well done Last Drop you pulled out all the stops.

We recently got married at The Last Village September 2022. Best day ever. Jacqueline was our wedding coordinator & was so helpful & friendly from booking the wedding to the day of the wedding. She ensured the day ran smoothly, took care of everything to take less stress of me (bride). I’ll miss having to speak with her, she is so lovely. I was so picky in even choosing our room as we didn’t want the bridal suite & chose room 79 which was perfect for us, spacious & next to the conference rooms where the bridal party got ready. Would definitely pick rooms 79 or 80! We can’t wait to go back for our anniversary next year. Also the food was AMAZING!! I can not recommend this place enough. Only thing I would suggest if you were here for a wedding is to keep your room on for another night, checking out for 11am hungover after a day of partying was not fun & I lost things in the process.

Our wedding Myself and my wife have been married for just over a week, from the offset we felt comfortable and continually reassured throughout all stages whilst using the venue. Liz our manager was superb throughout and when it came to the day our reception and wedding breakfast within the penny farthing suite was perfect. The staff were adaptable and everything was smooth throughout the day thanks to the MC Nassa. I would highly recommend using the Last Drop Village as an option for your wedding, you truly get more than what you pay for in our opinion. The staff and organisation meant we truly had the perfect wedding day.

My husband and I married here on 9th July this year. We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate! We should have married here 2 years ago but had to delay because of covid. Our wedding coordinator Jacqueline was so supportive throughout the whole process along with Liz who kept me up to date through the lockdowns. Jacqueline worked with us closely to plan every little detail and was very happy to help us piece together everything we imagined for our big day. Another lovely touch was a handwritten card from Paul the hotel general manager wishing us a happy wedding day - so thoughtful! Nassa our master of ceremonies was also amazing, he kept the day running smoothly and it was clear he was a great support to the other members of staff working that day. Every member of staff was a credit to the hotel! Everything from the organisation to the food, staff and beautiful venue. Everything was perfect! It certainly was a day to remember and we would like to extend the biggest thanks to everyone at The Last Drop Village that helped us make this happen!

A huge thank you to Liz, Zoe and the Last Drop team who made our wedding a truly fantastic, wonderful day. Their attention to detail, efficient friendly service tending to our every need made it a day to remember. All our guest without exception commented on how lovely the staff were, how amazing the wedding venue looked in the Harmony Suite and how the Last Drop was by far the best wedding venue and experience that they had ever had. As a bride I felt truly amazing .. all down to the wonderful care and genuine warmth from Liz and her team.
