We got married at Athlone Springs Hotel on the 21st of November. From start to finish, the whole weekend was amazing. Estella, and James couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel so special the entire time. Every single of one my guests spoke so highly of the whole weekend, in particular the food. The head chef. Martin could not do enough for us and gave us so many ideas/tips for the meal and reception. We had the most amazing time and will remember our weekend for the rest of our lives. Thank you to every single member of staff that we dealt with, we really cannot put into words how much we enjoyed our weekend. I cannot recommend Athlone Springs Hotel & Leisure Centre enough. When our original wedding plans fell through, the Athlone Springs Hotel came to the rescue and genuinely saved our day. With barely any notice, Estella and James went above and beyond at every turn to help us pull off a more beautiful wedding than we could have dreamed. Their warmth, professionalism, and incredible attention to detail made us feel instantly at ease. Every request was met with enthusiasm and grace. Despite the fact that they host multiple weddings a week, they truly made us feel like ours was the most important wedding of the year and our guests haven’t stopped talking about it. We celebrated our wedding at the Athlone Springs Hotel on Friday, the 1st of August 2025, and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better venue. From the early planning stages right through to the big day itself, the team were incredible to deal with — professional, organised, and always so helpful. Everything on the day ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy every moment. The function room looked stunning, the atmosphere was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure both we and our guests were well looked after. The food was exceptional and received so many compliments from our guests, and the accommodation made it so easy for everyone to enjoy the celebrations without any stress. We truly felt looked after from start to finish. A huge thank you to everyone at Athlone Springs for helping make our wedding day so special. We had our wedding reception at the Athlone Springs and from the day we went to the wedding fair, we knew it was the place for us. From our meeting with head chef Martin and wedding planner Nicole, we knew we were in great hands. They treated us like VIPs in the lead up to our big day. The service and professionalism was second to none. To the general manager, Paul-you were so lovely to deal with and treated us with such kindness and professionalism. To your staff on the day, including James and Vicki and our fav Chi, you should be so proud of their service and dedication to making our day a huge success and one that our guests are still talking about. A member of our bridal party was visually impaired and the hotel went above and beyond to ensure his needs were catered for and were so good with the best guide dog, Drew by bringing food and water out for him at various intervals throughout the day. Hats off to chef Martin for convincing us to go with the assiette starter-it was unreal. Everything about our meal was 10/10. An all-around fantastic day was had and one that we won’t forget. We would like to thank you and everyone so much in the Athlone Springs Hotel for our wedding on the 2nd August We still haven't recovered from last weekend, everything was absolutely amazing! The Outdoor Ceremony was absolutely stunning, we could really see all the work that went into it, It was so beautiful and the butterfly release worked out perfectly, such a beautiful way to represent both of Keith’s parents, The food all day was delicious, our Guests loved the ham rolls, everyone is still talking about them a week later, there was plenty of food and drinks to go round all day. The whole team including Nicole, Paul, Chef Martin and all the staff treated us like VIP's in the lead up to the wedding. The day of the wedding was unbelievable. We had our ceremony in the hotel followed by the arrivals reception and then the evening reception. The décor, the lighting, the setting truly had the wow factor. The food was delicious and we have received numerous comments on how good it was. The ham Station went down a treat at the arrivals reception so big thanks to Martin for recommending it. Nicole was on hand in the lead up and never hesitated in answering any questions. We cannot recommend the hotel enough. It truly was a day to remember.

Where to begin… We had the wedding day of our dreams at Athlone Springs Hotel. We got married on 27th September 2024, and we wouldn’t change a thing. From the minute we met Lauren and booked our date back in May 2023, we knew we were in safe hands. We were initially nervous about guest numbers, but Lauren made us feel so excited and at ease about the wedding—nothing was too big or too small. The day was amazing, thanks to Lauren, James, Chef Martin, and all the wonderful staff at Athlone Springs. Everything ran so smoothly; I still can’t believe how perfect it was. Walking into the function room before everyone else, just to look around and take it all in, was incredible—it was beautiful and everything we wanted and more. Everyone is still talking about the brilliant spread at the arrivals reception, especially the delicious ham rolls and cocktails. The meal was fantastic, as anyone who knows Athlone Springs will understand; the food is always amazing, so that was never a worry. The staff received so many compliments afterwards for being friendly and attentive, always there for anything we needed. Sitting at the top table, taking it all in, was surreal—everything was just perfect. We truly had the best day ever, and it was all made so easy by the team at Athlone Springs. We’re forever grateful. Thanks so much for everything on the day and in the lead-up to it.

We got married in the Athlone Springs Hotel on the August Bank Holiday and we can’t say enough about how happy we are that we chose it. The Athlone Springs really caught our eye due to its value, good reviews, and central location. We had both our ceremony and reception at the hotel. It was so well done, it just added to our excitement and again, made us certain the Athlone Springs Hotel was the right choice. It was so intimate and beautifully decorated. The dinner was amazing and the service from all the staff was so professional and our guests all commented on how impressed they were with the staff's friendliness and willingness to help. We loved it and so did our guests. Thank you again to all the team at the Athlone Springs Hotel, most notably Sally, Nicole, Martin & Michelle, you outdone yourselves and we could not have asked for better.

We couldn’t recommend the Athlone Springs Hotel enough! They made our day perfect from our very first meeting to even the following week after the wedding. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. They listened to everything we wanted and went above and beyond for us. They catered for family in wheelchairs and all the different dietary requirements we had. We met the chef at our tasting (which was amazing) and he delivered a spectacular meal on the day!! We still have so many guests telling us it was their favourite wedding and favourite wedding meal!! We cannot thank you enough. We will be forever grateful and we cannot wait to return! James was so helpful and a pleasure to deal with, he had everything running smoothly and kept us all calm. To Aidan, who helped us out and explained everything to us in detail, you were also a pleasure to deal with. We cannot recommend the Athlone Springs Hotel enough. From the first day we viewed the hotel and were shown around by the lovely Mark, we just knew it was the right venue for us! We then met Sally, the wedding coordinator and everything we asked for was no problem for them. We met James at our meal tasting and his service was second to none, any changes we wanted were no problem. Martin, the Head Chef, also came out and spoke with us after our meal tasting to ensure we were happy with everything. Our Wedding Day ran so smoothly thanks to Sally, James and their amazing team. The food was so tasty and plentiful and the service was amazing, all our guests were very impressed. The drinks reception and ballroom were decorated beautifully. We really are delighted we chose the Athlone Springs for our special day.

We recently had our wedding reception at the Athlone Springs Hotel. To say we were delighted with the service received would be an understatement! Staff always went above and beyond for us and our guests at all times! From the lead up to the wedding and the days after, everything was dealt with the best customer service and professionalism! Our guests are still raving about the fantastic service and kindness received. Sally, our wedding co-ordinator was always very quick to answer any questions or queries we had with planning the big day and always very helpful with tips and advice! Not to mention how beautifully decorated the rooms were down to the smallest details – exactly how we wanted! A very huge thank you to James the food and beverage manager, who always went out of his way to help me with the wedding nerves and ensured everything went smoothly! We really appreciated him ordering in a non-alcoholic beverage that is not usually in stock for an expectant guest of ours, she appreciated this so much! The service received by him and his team was second to none, having worked in the same industry I was extremely impressed! Food was absolutely amazing and great portion sizes, still talked about by everyone, best soup and vol au vents around! Over all, anything that we wanted/needed was taken care of and nothing was too much to ask of all staff, everyone greeted us with smiles and congratulations the entire weekend and were always on hand to help wherever needed. All of our friends and family have dubbed this hotel the best they have ever been to and the best wedding they’ve attended! For our wedding we wanted a modern, stylish hotel, with quality food and a fab function room – Athlone Springs ticked all the boxes when we were deciding where to have our wedding. We were particularly impressed with the spacious function room and the gorgeous décor – on the actual day of the wedding, we were blown away by how fabulous everything looked, from the function room to the drinks reception, it was perfection. Lauren, our wedding coordinator was amazing. The wedding planning process was seamless and easy from our side, that was due to how helpful the team were in Athlone Springs in dealing with all our queries and requests. Lauren really did go above and beyond – for one particular request we had, Lauren pulled out all the stops to ensure she could make it happen for us. The food was absolutely amazing, and the wedding team and staff were so professional. All our guests commented on how brilliant the staff and food was on the day of the wedding. We are incredibly grateful to all the staff and had the most amazing day.

From start to finish we never for a second doubted that we hadn’t picked the right venue in choosing the Athlone Springs Hotel. The team were just fantastic and we cannot thank them enough! My father who is a nervous speaker was invited into the hotel by James & Lauren in the lead up the wedding to practice his speech in the room which I just thought was a touch of class and I can confirm the speeches went down without a hitch. During our wedding tasting Martin (Head Chef) came out and spoke to us once we had finished the tasting and went through the menu with us and we made a few small changes at this point. Our guests did nothing but rave about the food and service and my own grandmother is still talking about the beef. Thank you Athlone Springs Hotel.

We chose the Athlone Springs Hotel for our wedding venue after having attended a wedding there the year previous and we were just blown away by the customer service we received. We got to meet many people on the run up to the big day but a special mention to Lauren and to James who talked us through every step and could not do enough for us. The day of the wedding there must have been 4 managers standing at the door to greet us which I just thought was such a nice touch. The only downfall was that the day went too quick, Athlone Springs thank you for making our day so special to us.

Throughout the lead up to the big day we met with James & Barry who took us through the day of the wedding and exactly how it would pan out and this took a huge weight of our shoulders. As the two guys said to my partner and I this is what they do on a regular basis and wow were they right, true professionals at what they do. The food was absolutely perfect and all guests commented on the night about how nice the food was. Guests also commented on how nice the staff, the hotel and the ballroom was. The Athlone Springs Hotel is absolutely amazing. From the very minute we met Sally to view the hotel, I could not find a fault. It’s an intimate classy hotel with the friendliest of staff. On our wedding day the team went above and beyond for us particularly James who ensured fantastic service. Our guests still tell us how much they loved the venue and the food. It’s a 10/10 for us.

When we got engaged we decided to keep our wedding local so we started visiting hotels around the Midlands. After visiting a few hotels we went to a Wedding Showcase in the Athlone Springs Hotel. From the moment we walked into the hotel we were very impressed with how modern the hotel is and the atmosphere was lovely. The main ballroom was fabulous, the perfect size to create a good atmosphere on your wedding day. We booked our wedding that day and we are delighted we did. We got married here on the 9th of September 2022 and everything on the day was perfect. We had a humanist ceremony in the hotel and the room was decorated beautifully. We had meetings with both Sally and Louise and they were both great to deal with – they could not do enough for us. The food was so tasty and plentiful, from the fabulous set up at the reception to the main meal and the afters – all our guests were talking about how nice the food was. We were not surprised as we knew after meeting the Head Chef Martin at our wedding tasting that we had nothing to worry about. James and all his staff were excellent, they served the meal so professionally. Also a mention to the bar staff who were kept busy all night. I had a large bridal party so I decided to stay in the hotel the night before and the hotel provided a fabulous room for us all to get ready in. The staff were so pleasant and on hand for anything we needed. A special mention to Jade who looked after us so well that morning. We had over 200 guests at our wedding and they were all very complimentary about the hotel. If you are planning your wedding, give the Athlone Springs Hotel a visit and you will not be disappointed. We had the most amazing day for our wedding at the Athlone Springs Hotel, the fabulous Lauren was amazing from start to finish, she had everything perfect. Lauren and James were on top of it all on the day and were just fantastic and so friendly. The food was amazing, and Chef Martin was more than happy to accommodate us with anything we needed. All the staff at the Springs were friendly and more than happy to help with anything we needed especially when it came to our 3 boys. We had the most perfect day and with the help of Lauren and all of the staff and the Springs, it was even more special.

We got married Saturday April 30th 2022 and had our reception in Athlone Springs Hotel. We were in contact with Sally and met with both Sally and Aidan before the big day. They listened to every little thing that we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations. The ballroom was beautifully decorated. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We can’t thank chef Martin enough. Aidan checked in with us very discreetly during the day. The attention to detail was top class. We got 5 star food and service. We had the best day and are very grateful to all of the staff. We are looking forward to celebrating other special occasions in Athlone Springs Hotel.
