We had this venue first booked for June 2020 (100 guests) but due to covid restrictions and venue closure our wedding date was postponed several times. We finally decided to go ahead with an intimate wedding (14 guests) 4 weeks after the venue was reopened in July 2022. We truly had an amazing day, Marcella and her staff ensured everything went perfectly on the day. We had our spiritual ceremony in the gallery room, the room was decorated beautifully with a wooden wedding arch, floral arrangements and lanterns. Our drinks reception was at the lovely garden room where we were served prosecco and canapes. We were also able to enjoy the private garden outdoors. Our delicious dinner was served in the drawing room, we were all seated together at a large dressed table. The 4 course meal was amazing, and our wonderful waitress Susan looked after us throughout the day. We were surprised by the barman serving us with cocktails, which was a nice personal touch. We would definitely recommend this venue for any couple looking for an intimate wedding in a beautiful setting.

I and my partner have been looking for our dream wedding venue for the past year now. We'd been to 9 different venues prior to our visit to the Kingswood hotel 3 weeks ago. We stopped by for Sunday lunch and were greeted with such welcoming staff. In particular, Sarah attended to us on the day and was extremely helpful. The wedding coordinator was unavailable on the day and Sarah Kindly gave us a tour of the venue. She answered all our questions and gave us Nikki's details to contact her if we were interested. Due to such a welcoming experience, we decided to contact Nikki about possibly having our Wedding at this venue. We met Nikki the next week and we were blown away with her professionalism, Humor and attitude towards us. She gave us a full tour of the venue step by step, then followed up by walking us through all the available packages.We had additional requests and alterations to the packages and it was meet with a "can do" attitude, which was something we hadn't experienced at other venues. We then decided to go for dinner again based on the first experience. Once more we were externally happy with the dining experience. We had a lovely staff member Lauren look after us and again felt that she exceeded her duties to ensure we had a pleasant meal. Based on the above experiences it was an easy decision for us that this was the place for us. So we met Nikki again today to book our wedding for next year. Once again meeting her today was such a lovely experience and she solidified our thoughts that we made the right choice for our wedding day. After we signed the contact we were treated to dinner at the restaurant by Nikki. We met Sarah and Lauren while we were there and once again felt the warm welcoming from them. Your staff are a credit to the hotel. We really felt they went above and beyond for us. Please can you pass on our deepest thanks to them

We were very lucky with the weather, it was great that we could chill out with our guests outside in the private garden. We were afraid we'll be stressed out but everything was prepared for us really well and we didn't have to worry about anything. We only booked our wedding 3 months before the date. We met with Nikki and she organized everything for us all we needed to do was turn up on the day. I would recommend KingsWood house for any wedding small or big. The staff on the day couldn't do enough for us and our guests. We had elderly guests at our wedding and the staff went above and beyond to assist them in any way they could. Great venue, great staff, great wedding planner and beautiful food. Top class venue I would highly recommend it.

We recently had our wedding here in Kingswood House. The venue was perfect with different floors from ceremony, reception and main room. Perfect for a more intimate wedding we had 75 guests. The team there were all very helpful for anything we needed and allowed myself to add a lot of my own personal touches to the day. In addition the restaurant downstairs decor, staff and food is in my opinion 5 stars and throughout the wedding preparation we ate in it a number of times. I would highly recommend this venue and all guests who lived locally never even knew this little gem venue existed.

THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES OMG what an amazing day was had by all of our guests in the Kingswood Hotel and it has been names the Best Wedding Ever by my family and some of our guest. Firstly to explain we had decided to get married in April of 2018 so we had less than 3 months to plan everything. The staff did everything to help us create the perfect day in this short period. I am also the youngest of nine children and the last to marry and of course we had to wait until we were nearly 20 years together before deciding to get married, but it was so worth the wait. The Kingswood Hotel was the perfect location for our guests as we came from Our Lady of good counsel church in Drimnagh. The courtyard we arrived in, was so beautifully arranged with flowers, tall tables and a bar so our guest could enjoy the beautiful sunny weather than blessed Ireland in the summer of 2018. We enjoyed drinks and the sun and took many perfect photos in the gorgeous gardens. When dinner was ready we were brought up to the most beautiful suite with exposed brick and wooden beams. The Locke suite is a bright and beautifully dressed room on the 1st floor with a balcony overlooking the gardens below. Our guests relaxed in the Locke suite, made their choice of starters, mains and dessert and devoured the delicious food. The staff were so friendly and efficient as my guest said they felt so comfortable and spoiled as the staff attend to their every need, even giving an extra main course to one of our hungry guests. The food ordered for the evening was exceptional and unexpected to what I had ordered, as the open sandwiches of prawns, smoked salmon, cured ham and vintage cheese circulated the room, my guests appreciated the all-day access to the gardens below as they tried to rest from overindulging. I would recommend the Kingswood Hotel to any couple looking for that little bit extra care and attention on their wedding day. Thank you Darelle, Susan, Raj, Marcella, Caroline, and all the staff

We had an amazing day. The whole process of organising a wedding can be stressful at times, but Nikki and the staff at the Kingswood Hotel helped us out more than they could know. From our first meeting we were given a blank canvas and together we managed to plan a really special and fun day. We had a humanist ceremony followed by a drinks reception, then dinner and dancing. All our guests couldn't get over how relaxed and happy we were. They thought the venue, food and staff were amazing. My guests who I have met up with since our wedding have talked about how well looked after they were, things that I would of missed...which is so lovely to hear. We want to again thank Nikki and all the staff at the Kingswood Hotel that made our day so special. See you for our anniversary ;)

The KingsWood house is an excellent wedding venue. We had an amazing day thanks to the team there. We had a stress free reception and meal and the staff on the night were sooooo very helpful and friendly. Everything was thought of and taken care of behind the scenes. Sarah's service was exceptional and so very noteworthy. She was absolutely on the ball! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We celebrated our wedding with Kingswood hotel and we couldn't have chose a better venue. From the first day we went in to view the hotel until now, the staff were and still are just amazing. Raj, Nikki and Stephen were there for us no matter how small the request and they went above and beyond for us, along with the rest of the staff. Nikki is extremely professional and outanding in every aspect of wedding Coordination. We can safely say you are in good hands. The food was absolutely amazing and everyone complimented it. The chef Sergiu Berzan is an outstanding chef and we would highly recommend him. The decor and the layout of the room was done up beautifully with its beautiful rustic charm. This hotel really is a hidden gem. We had a BBQ on the second day and would highly recommend this. The girls behind the bar and the after hours manager were great and made us feel very comfortable in a very relaxed atmosphere which was very welcomed after such a hectic but fantastic day before hand. Again the food was amazing and we had the garden suit for this and it worked perfectly for us. Occasionally we go up for some dinner to mcgettigans and we always receive a great reception. We would like to thank everyone at the Kingswood Hotel for making our day so special. It truly was an unforgettable day that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Myself and Shane cannot thank you Marcella and all the staff at the KingsWood house for making our day an unforgettable one. From the moment we were greeted at the entrance to the moment we left that night all the staff went above and beyond for both me and Shane and all our guests. Special mention to Neil who couldn't do enough for me and Shane throughout the day. The arrival drinks of cocktails and beers went down so well everybody loved them. The food was outstanding, everybody was talking about it, we couldn't fault a thing. This place is really a hidden gem all our guests couldn't get over how great it was. Kingswood Hotel was the perfect location for our wedding. The Joseph Locke Suite is a bright, beautiful space & we were set on it once we saw it! The package we put together with Caroline & her team suited our requirements perfectly & they were very accommodating to our requests at all times. The day itself ran seamlessly from start to finish with great support from the Kingswood Hotel staff which made our day so much easier & enjoyable. All we have heard since the wedding is how impressed our guests were with the venue, food & service which speaks for itself… We are extremely grateful to all at Kingswood for giving us a day to remember!
