We want to thank the Glenview Hotel for the most wonderful wedding day we could have imagined. From the first day we met with Leanne, she was on board and knew exactly what we wanted on our special day. She organised everything and took all the pressure off us so we were so relaxed on the day knowing it would be perfect. We got married at 3 pm and the plan was to arrive at the hotel at 4.45 pm. On the day the staff pulled out all the stops as the snow and wind made our planned photo shoot on the beach and in the woods impossible and we arrived an hour earlier than expected. We were welcomed with smiling faces and nothing was too much trouble. After a quick check-in to our beautiful rooms, we all met up at 4.15 pm in the conservatory bar for prosecco, tea, coffee and delicious scones. Everyone was so appreciative on such a cold and snowy day. The view from the conservatory was like a winter wonderland and our guests absolutely loved it. At 7 pm we made our way to The Malton Loungep which was decorated so beautifully and the most delicious dinner was served at 7.30 pm. The food was superb and the service was 5-star. The attention to detail from start to finish was fabulous and we could not have asked for more. The chef's delicious food, the banqueting manager, the serving staff, and the banquet room were all amazing and the atmosphere was magical. We had the most wonderful day and the jewel in the crown was Leanne the events manager who ensured our every wish came true. Our guests are still talking about their fantastic time there. We cannot recommend the Glenview Hotel highly enough. Thank you to you all. We just wish we could do it all again.

Tina and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Glenview Hotel on 24/08/2024. From the moment we set foot into the hotel the night before, we were treated like royalty. Leanne and the events team were fantastic and incredibly helpful. The bar staff catered to our every need, and, in fact, all the staff—from the front desk to the room attendants—went above and beyond for us. On the morning of our wedding, the staff and management did everything in their power to decorate not only the Glenview Suite, where our reception took place but also the garden where our ceremony was held. To say it looked stunning would be an understatement—it was amazingly beautiful, like a fairytale! Every staff member worked to the highest standards to ensure our wedding was a success. Our guests were treated with the utmost respect, and the day was flawless. The meal was served efficiently and flawlessly, with the food being of the highest quality. All of our guests who stayed at the hotel commented that the rooms were immaculate and of the highest standard. The bridal suite was exquisite and very pleasing to the eye.

Wow! The staff, the food, the location—everything was absolutely amazing. My now-wife and I had an incredible time. We got married in the gardens, and it was honestly like a fairytale—exactly what I've always dreamed of. A huge shout-out to the staff; every single one of them was amazing. Sadly, I can't remember all their names, except for Leanne (our wedding coordinator), who really went above and beyond for us, ensuring the day went smoothly so we didn’t have to worry. The food was exceptional, and the enthusiastic banquet manager kept a smile on everyone’s face the day before and on the wedding day itself. I would highly recommend this venue for any occasion, especially a wedding!

We couldn’t have asked for better! The wedding planner understood us as a couple and knew exactly what we wanted… a great day to remember with as little stress getting there! She took us through each stage with such professionalism and her attention to every detail meant all we had to do was say yes or no meaning the wedding planning for us was carefree, she thought of everything. She was always on hand to answer any questions we might have had. The team went above and beyond to make our wedding exactly what we wanted, including changing the ceremony room layout to accommodate all our guests 24 hrs before the day itself! Nothing was ever impossible for them. On the day itself, everything flowed perfectly and Denis and I just sailed through the day with huge smiles. The staff kept us updated throughout that everything was in hand and going to plan… including the special order of rare beef for the father of the bride! Every guest was catered for as an individual, everyone was blown away by the standard and quality of the food. All our guests kept saying what a wonderful day it was and commented on how laidback myself and Denis were as we didn’t need to worry about anything; the whole team on the day were on top of every aspect. Denis and I would highly recommend the team at the Glenview. Myself and Brendan would like to extend our thanks and appreciation the team at the Glenview for our wedding in May 2024. Throughout the buildup, your wedding coordinator and team were in regular contact and this planning really paid off on the day, with our guests and families having a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, the weather led us to make a late decision to have an indoor ceremony, but this wasn't obvious, the Glenview suite was decked out with curtains, lights and flowers and looked amazing - great attention to detail considering how rapidly your team had to set up everything. Several guests commented on the food - after a long day of celebrating and photographs, it was great to have everyone seated and fed so efficiently - Frano and the dining team worked wonders with a very busy room. We've always enjoyed our stays at the Glenview and we will continue to be returning customers.

We want to say thank you so much for all the work you put into our wedding which was held at your Hotel on 8th August 2023. The whole day went so well and we really couldn’t have asked for a better day! We’ve had so many people commenting on how amazing the Glenview Hotel looked and the professionalism of the staff. Our wedding planner’s professionalism made us feel that everything was under control and she did a fantastic job right from the start of our wedding plan. People have also been saying how good all the food was – which it was! They also mentioned that the Restaurant staff were all very friendly, including the Restaurant Manager. A BIG thank you to all the Restaurant and Bar staff. So many people have said it has either been the best wedding they have ever been to or that the food has been the best they’ve ever had at a wedding. It was so nice to stand back for a moment in the evening and see everyone enjoying themselves so much. Thanks a million Glenview Hotel, we hope to see you again when we come for our 1st Anniversary!

From beginning to end, we never had any doubt that we had picked the right venue for us. We had to rearrange our date twice, but the hotel kept in touch with us every step of the way. On the run up to our wedding, Eithne our coordinator had everything under control, and made sure all our little requests were catered for. I stayed the night before with family, and everyone of them were treated so kindly. Everyone agreed that the meal was amazing, which is one of the reasons we loved it here. On the morning of the wedding, even the makeup artist on her arrival, was offered breakfast, which she said never happens! Anything that we needed to the room arrived within minutes of calling, Thanks to Stephanie at reception. When the time came for me to walk down the aisle, a lot of the staff were there to see me off. Our ceremony room was decorated by All About Weddings, and the room was perfect. It was so intimate. The canapés and Prosecco reception after the ceremony was plentiful, and was looked after by the wonderful Mark, per my request from previous meetings. He is such a lovely and inviting person. I knew our guests would love him, and he would look after them. He takes such pride in his work. From there on in, Ken and Eithne made sure everything ran so smoothly. They made sure that myself and my new husband thoroughly enjoyed our day, knowing they had it all under control. It didn’t end there. The next morning they had set up a breakfast room for all the wedding guests, so we got to spend more time chatting and laughing with each other before we left. We stayed the last night on our own, but still being looked after by Ken and the staff, making sure we had everything we needed. When the time came to leave and go on honeymoon, it was very emotional. Given the option, we probably would have stayed longer! One thing is for definite though, we picked the perfect venue with amazing staff set in the most beautiful surroundings! Nothing to fault whatsoever.

We were blown away by the venue when we decided to book in Glenview Hotel & Leisure Club. The gardens were stunning, and the hotel was so beautiful. The packages available made planning our wedding a lot easier. The repeated staff change made it a little tricky to plan as we found we were almost starting from scratch every couple of months. Covid obviously exacerbated this. However, Stacey, the final wedding coordinator, was very UNDERSTANDING and ACCOMMODATING to our particular needs, especially due to the covid restrictions. The staff were all accommodating. We loved the bridal suite and wished, in hindsight, we had booked it for a longer stay! However, we will definitely return in the future for another break! The venue was very well put TOGETHER on the day. Guests were all delighted with the hotel, and the food was PHENOMENAL. WE would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking to be married.

We were very very happy choosing the Glenview Hotel for our wedding. Not only is the Hotel and scenery stunning and the food amazing, but everyone looking after us and our guests was absolutely friendly and professional. The Glenview Hotel showed exceptional flexibility towards us planning and celebrating our wedding during Covid- lockdown. We were very well looked after, and felt an exceptional warmth, all our wishes were accommodated as far as restrictions allowed. Everyone there went beyond themselves to make our special day exceptional. We are very grateful!

What an absolutely fantastic hotel with stunning grounds, we had an outdoor ceremony and drinks reception and everyone said it was like a fairy tale, so so beautiful. The main meal was superb, ran smoothly, food was amazing in the evening time, we choose the food truck well this really went down a treat with the kids and adults alike, burgers, fish, sausages, chips, onion ring, what a great addition to our package. Now for the staff. Rachel the wedding planner was superb lovely woman and so professional and friendly. We had a great time working with her, she's a gem. Also sabeen and carl were amazing along with the whole staff they made our day so special sure friendly beautiful staff. Everyone commented on how lovely everyone was and nothing was too much trouble also amazing with the children. I would recommend this hotel 100% to all. I would definitely recommend the Glenview. Especially for a summer wedding. We got married there last June and the gardens are perfect for drinks reception & photos. If you arrange a meeting with wedding coordinator she will go through all your options and 180 would work in their function room. We had 120 and plenty of room. You would just have to move tables later on if you had a band/dancefloor. Food is excellent, their Head Chef Sandeep is amazing!

There wasn't anything that was too much trouble, every time we had a request it was granted and with professionalism. Alina was the best, we don't know how we would've done it without her. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our visits to the Glenview, they made us feel like VIP guests every time we were there. Arranging our wedding from overseas was made so much easier thanks to them.

A Hotel with so much character with a picturesque location, food & service exceptional on the day but the real winner was planning our perfect day with Alina; she was a total pleasure to deal with, so supportive, professional yet embracing our ideas & assisting us in creating a stunning but also personally reflective theme, what a wonderful memorable celebration from start to finish, we only wish we could repeat the day again!! thank you most sincerely Laura & Tara xx

We had the most fantastic wedding day at the glenview. Everything was organised to perfection and went just brilliantly. All thanks to the great Alina and Sabine. The staff were all lovely, couldn't do enough for us and we were made to feel special the whole day long. I could not recommend the glenview more as the perfect location for a wedding.

Myself and my wife were delighted we chose the Glenview Hotel as our Wedding Venue. We had our ceremony itself in the gardens as well so they were responsible for the whole day itself, and they couldn't have been better. The staff, rooms and food were all fantastic and the setting of the hotel really made the whole day perfect. We couldn't recommend the hotel highly enough. "We had our wedding at the Glenview Hotel on the 11th of August. We were 110% happy with every element of the hotel service. Alina, the wedding planner is absolutely amazing. She was very professional, responsive and helpful. She gave us great advice, was warm, friendly and ensured that all of the details we agreed for the day were executed exactly as planned. All recommendations from Alina worked out really well especially Anna Edera, our photographer who was fantastic. The front of house and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Sabine managed all other aspects of the dinner and drink service. She again was very efficient. The food service was very quick and even though we spent longer on photos than planned, Sabine worked it so that we didn't have a big delay with dinner. The food again was of a really high quality. I received many, many compliments from our guests about how great the hotel was. A few of my guests have already mentioned that they will be returning for a meal or an overnight stay. We had a meal the next day for a smaller set of our guests. We were given a private room upstairs with an amazing view. My guests were really impressed. The service and food from the 2nd night was the same great quality as the first. The setting and views from this hotel are simply stunning. It is the perfect place for a wedding and it made our wedding day perfect. We cannot recommend enough! A big thanks to the Glenview Hotel for our amazing day."

The planning of the event was made easy by their professional and organised manner and the day itself was organised to the finest detail. All the staff were truly amazing and the food wonderful.
