We got married at the Glenside Hotel on September 4th, 2025, and we truly had the best day imaginable. From the very beginning, the team didn’t just help us coordinate everything seamlessly; they made us feel like friends. That’s the difference with a family-run hotel: you build real relationships. Even when I called to book rooms for family, I’d get someone I already knew and had chatted with. Christine & all the staff were always so warm and caring. Rhea is an absolute legend. She knows everything about planning a wedding, and there was nothing she wouldn’t do. Hearing “Oh, you don’t have to worry about that, I’ll sort it” was music to my ears! She coordinated all our vendors and stood by us throughout the planning process. After our final meeting, which lasted an hour and a half, no detail was left unspoken. The weight was lifted, and I slept peacefully the night before, knowing everything was in the hands of true professionals. On the day, Rhea kept us comfortable and in the right place at the right time. Karen’s calm presence ensured everyone was catered for and happy. Christine and the rest of the staff looked after our guests so well. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the grounds are lovely and well-maintained, and the whole hotel has a warm, homely feeling that brought everyone together. Our guests had a wonderful time, they felt welcomed and relaxed, and the food was outstanding. Everyone was catered for, and had a great time! The Mary Suite, which is really a very cool honeymoon suite, made us wish we could have stayed longer. We can’t recommend the Glenside Hotel and its staff enough. If you want a family-run venue that truly cares about the people they cater for, with great food, a beautiful wedding space, lovely accommodation, and a team that will celebrate with you, this is the place! Hard to believe the wedding which we planned alongside The Glenside Hotel for 2 years is over! We had an amazing day, evening and treated ourselves to an extra day in the Mary Suite. We were delighted with our package as the photographer, florist, wedding cake, and DJ were all chosen; we didn’t have to go searching for vendors! It was fantastic to have both our ceremony and reception under one roof. We were amazed at how fast the staff worked at moving the room around to accommodate our guests. The table settings were beautiful! The menu choices were so good, it was difficult to choose, but we were delighted when our choice was as good as our guests. A huge thanks to Karen, Aoghan, Rhea and all the staff for all they did for us. All our guests commented on how inviting and comfortable the hotel was; they will definitely return. ‘A hidden gem’ We will always remember our special day. We wouldn’t change a thing. We cannot thank the Glenside Hotel enough; every little detail was covered, even the ones we didn't think about. As we live in England, we left things till the week of the wedding, and Rhea was so professional and helpful and when I was having a meltdown the day before the wedding about bridesmaids' flowers (I brought artificial ones), which I didn't like. She rang the local florist and I was able to buy fresh flowers, which were perfect. The whole lead-up to the wedding, the Glenside always kept in touch with us and answered emails and telephone calls the same day. The whole team did an amazing job helping us with menus, table planning, decorations, etc. The actual day itself was everything we could have wished for from the start to the end, the room was laid out beautifully for the wedding service and an amazing turn around for the reception. They catered for everyone's dietary requirements and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend the Glenside Hotel for a wedding, and we are so looking forward to going back for our 1st anniversary meal next September.

From the moment we enquired about having our wedding at the Glenside, the gang there were nothing short of amazing. We had many recommendations to go with the Glenside, and we are so delighted we did! From all the small queries and random panic questions from us, Karen and Rhea were so responsive and always accommodated anything we required. I put my trust in them 100% and it really paid off. Well, where do we start... Better late than never, I suppose. We got married on 30th May 2025, and the whole day from start to finish was out of this world. We are so glad we chose the Glenside Hotel to have our special day, and have absolutely no complaints. The bride and bridesmaids were looked after so well the night before the wedding, too. The breakfast the next morning was also fantastic, all our guests were very happy with their stay. To the wonderful staff at The Glenside Hotel, Aagon, Karen, Rhea, floor, Bar and kitchen staff, also Gareth Matthews, the celebrant, who all did the most wonderful work to make our day very special indeed. From all of the organising to the actual day itself. It was all outstanding! We never thought our day would turn out the way that it did. The Glenside hotel was the perfect location for all who came along from near and far in Ireland and abroad. The food was absolutely top-class! The drinks were refreshing. The entertainment was wonderful. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and danced the night away. We would highly recommend the Glenside Hotel if anyone is on the lookout for the perfect venue. It certainly is one! We would like to give a very big thank you to Karen, Aogan & Rhea. From day one of meeting Karen and dealing with Rhea, they went above and beyond to help us, even in the smallest of details. On our wedding day, we were looked after so well, making us feel at ease and relaxed so we could just breathe and enjoy each part of the day. We had an outside wedding, and they made our dream come through there. We also got a beak perk in the reception room before everyone else. Where do we start? We want to say thank you so much to Karen, Aogán, Rhea and staff. Our wedding day was so magical, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. From the moment we walked in the doors for our 1st meeting, right up until the day we checked out, we couldn’t have asked for much more. You all went above and beyond for our special day. The food was delicious, the photographer was amazing, the cake, the music the flowers were all so beautiful. We had our ceremony outside, and the setup was amazing. It’s more than what we could ever imagine. The staff were always there to help you out and were so bubbly. All our guests had an amazing time and had lovely comments to say about every moment. We really can’t thank everyone enough for everything, Rhea looked after us so well always just an email away and would always keep in touch in all them little things and never stopped smiling, Aoife was there the night before the wedding and on the day always had a smile on her face loved having the chat and Peter in the night/morning was there when we needed him. What an absolute dream venue to work with, we had the most perfect wedding from start to finish. Everything was top class. From day one, dealing with Rhea & Aogan, we knew we were in good hands. Our vow renewal to celebrate 30 years of love was to be the magical day that we didn't afford the first time round. It was booked on a whim during a train journey, and it went from a notion to a spectacular event, all thanks to Team Glenside. Our laidback attitude to everything must have driven poor Aoghan and Karen crazy, but they never batted an eyelid and made everything seem simple. Their all-inclusive package was a bargain, and their service providers were exceptional. Guest rooms and the bridal suite were ready early as requested. Our guests were delighted with the cleanliness and comfort. Aoghan was our coordinator on the day, and he ensured that everything ran smoothly, explaining next steps throughout and ensuring that we had everything we needed to have a seamless day. Food was outstanding and service was second to none. Every guest remarked on the meal, and even our fussy eater was satisfied!!! There were no lulls in the day, and the time passed so quickly, indeed at such speed that I may have to go and do it again!!! Every moment was special, every added touch was appreciated. We viewed The Glenside as a couple on a wedding evening in January 2024. We had spoken to a few venues but not actually seen them in person, and The Glenside was the first that we viewed. From that day, I knew it was the best place for us to be married. Karen and Aogan go above and beyond for each couple individually. On our wedding day, I was greeted as the bride by a red carpet, Aogan and Rhea awaiting, and lots of the Glenside staff to welcome me to my wedding. I honestly felt like a celebrity!! From the decor to the food, everything was a 10/10, we would score more if we could. The ceremony room was set up so beautifully that we felt like a fairy tale wedding; the chairs and cherry blossom trees were so elegant and bright. The day flowed so smoothly, and I honestly can say it was down to all of the staff. Rhea is a superstar; she made sure we, as the couple, were served first and everything was to our liking. She was amazing with our 2-year-old daughter, too! The bedrooms, including our bridal suite, were absolutely gorgeous, the most comfortable bed we had ever slept in, and the decor is so beautiful, also to mention spotless! All of our guests have said how beautiful the whole day was and how much they enjoyed the wedding. Any future couples to get married in the glenside are so lucky, and we can ensure that your day will be as fabulous as ours! If I could go back and do the day the same way, I would! We had our wedding on the 17/05/2025. Karen Aogan and the team are just amazing at what they do. Their packages are great, we had little planning to do, which took so much stress off. They made our day so special from start to finish, everything was perfect. The food was amazing. I highly recommend anyone getting married to have a look into their amazing packages, you definitely wouldn't be disappointed. Can't thank you guys enough.

We had our wedding on the 10/12/2024 and from our very first meeting with Karen we felt special. We were gifted with a welcome pack upon our first meeting which made our decision to choose The Glenside a lot easier. What really made the decision easier was the option of creating our own package to suit our budget. Once we made our decision to choose The Glenside, we felt a huge weight off our shoulders as they took care of everything to do with the reception. All we had to do was provide the information to them. On the day itself, it was just amazing. It couldn't have gone any better. Rhea (the coordinator) was on top of everything and everything went so smoothly. The food was amazing too. All our guests were very happy too. The bridal suite was beautiful, my only regret is we didn't stay another night to really enjoy it. The following day the staff were still treating us like royalty. Looking back on everything, we are so happy that we chose The Glenside. We received so much for the money we paid. We definitely got value for our money and more. Myself and Jessica had the best time of our lives. From the moment we stepped into The Glenside, the staff were amazing. We were so looked after on a 5-star personal level. Karen and Aogán (owners) are the most nice and genuine people you’ll ever meet. They made everything feel special and made sure they looked after every request we made. All the hotel staff were amazing. The food was amazing, the hotel has just been renovated so the rooms & everywhere look outstanding. The Glenside will always have a special place in our hearts and we will always remember the time we had. I cannot fault anything at all with this hotel or our wedding, because they made everything go so smoothly. Even with the Storm Éowyn happening on our wedding day, they told us they would make it work and that they did! From start to finish Aogan, Karen and the team couldn't do enough for us. Planning wasn't stressful at all due to the organisation of the team and everything in the all-inclusive package, there was no looking for a photographer, flowers, DJ, decorations etc as this was all covered and for such a reasonable price. The bridal suite was stunning, and the morning of the wedding was relaxed and fun. We didn't need to worry about any of the details for the ceremony and reception, Aogan guided us and led us through it all, every detail was 100 per cent. Staff amazing through the night, beautiful food great atmosphere. Guests are still contacting us saying it's one of the best weddings they've ever been to. Would highly recommend The Glenside to anyone looking for a fabulous, stress-free wedding.

The Glenside Hotel in Julianstown gave us the most perfect beautiful & relaxed carefree wedding we could have imagined. Karen and all her wonderful staff are so very professional and welcoming making our very special day a dream come true. We really enjoyed every day of our stay and highly recommend it. For us, it was a 5-star experience without a doubt. From the excellent cleanliness & beauty of the hotel to the delicious meals, the professionalism of the team and their very high standards, this is a real little gem of a hotel not to be overlooked. Myself and David have just gotten married with the help of Karen and Aogán. They made our day so special and took care of absolutely everything we couldn’t have asked for any more.
