Kieron & I got married at The Glenside on 26/10/2024. What a magical day it was, we will remember it forever. Huge thanks to Karen for all her help along the way as we only had 3 months to plan our dream wedding. The fantastic wedding packages Karen has put together make it less stressful for the happy couple. We have so many people to thank, from the fabulous hardworking team at the Glenside to all the wonderful suppliers. Evelyn in Southgate florists provided our beautiful bouquets. Paul Connor Photography took our photos and we are looking forward to seeing them. Our amazing band Clockwise - thanks to Shane and the lads. Thanks to the chefs for their delicious food. The new bridal suite must be mentioned and our guests are still talking about how great our wedding Day was. Everyone was just so relaxed and chilled out. I don't even know where to begin. I would recommend The Glenside to anyone getting married! From the first contact, you will be looked after amazingly by Karen, Aogán and all the wonderful kind staff. We had the most amazing day from start to finish. It felt like a fairytale and we didn't even have to think about one thing on the day because all the staff looked after absolutely everything and were so attentive. There is not one single thing I could fault. Thank you so much to everyone at The Glenside for everything, you really made our day better than we could have ever imagined. We wouldn't change one thing about our day.

We had an amazing wedding at the Glenside. From start to finish we didn't have to worry about a thing. We had our wedding at The Glenside in April 2024 and it was the best day ever. We booked with Karen and from the very first meeting she was so helpful and made us feel at ease. The room was perfect as was the location for what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble and Karen and Aogan were there whenever we needed them during the lead-up, always checking in. When the day arrived Karen, Aogan and the staff did everything and more for us. The room, food and everything was perfect. Would highly recommend The Glenside for your special occasion!

We had our ceremony and reception at The Glenside in August 24. From our very first meeting, we knew we had chosen the perfect venue. Karen and Aoghan were very accommodating and offered plenty of useful advice and tips. The venue was beautifully decorated for the ceremony and the meal. The food was also delicious. We would definitely recommend the Glenside Hotel to any couple. They offer fantastic packages and include excellent suppliers, which made our planning so much easier.

We had our wedding at The Glenside Hotel in April this year, and it was the perfect day from start to finish. Karen and Aogan went above and beyond to ensure our day went smoothly. Everyone raved about how amazing the food was and how generous the portions were. We had an outdoor ceremony, and the grounds were beautifully set up. Nothing was a problem for Karen and Aogan, and they were always there to help with any queries or concerns we had. They made the entire process very easy and took all the stress away. I would highly recommend The Glenside Hotel. From start to finish, our wedding day was perfect.

We had our wedding day at the Glenside, and from start to finish, nothing was too much hassle or bother. My husband and I have received nothing but great compliments regarding the meals our guests enjoyed at the wedding, as well as the beautiful bedrooms and the lovely breakfast we and our guests had the next morning. We honestly cannot recommend the Glenside Hotel enough for any future brides and grooms looking for the perfect venue for their big day.

Karen and Aogan were very helpful and we felt nothing was too much to ask for on the day. The room was set up beautifully with everything as we had asked. Our guests not only complimented the room but the hotel itself and the service given to them on the day. The food was delicious and everyone was amazed by the five-course meal. We felt everything was handled perfectly and that allowed us to enjoy our big day. The wait staff were really friendly and pleasant. We would highly recommend The Glenside for hosting your wedding.

If I could give one million stars I would! From the moment we stepped into The Glenside we felt a sense of belonging. Having spent time here in the past as former colleagues, it was the complete no-brainer and the perfect choice for our wedding reception. Every detail of our day was carefully planned and followed through with ease, making it feel like a true home away from home. Booking our wedding with The Glenside has taken the stress out of planning and has allowed me to enjoy our day without worry! They take care of everything! The food was nothing short of amazing! Each dish tasted beautiful. Our guests are still complimenting us about the food. Thanks a million to the chefs - we really appreciate it. The setup was wonderful with every detail of our day on show! It was obvious that the staff worked very hard to create a beautiful atmosphere for our special day. One of the biggest reliefs was how very smooth the planning process was. The amazing owners Aogan & Karen took the stress out of the planning, I was sent a list of suppliers, each and every one of them was fantastic to deal with. A big thank you to, Southgate Florist Coulter & Black Paul O Connor Clockwise Knowing we were in such capable hands with all these amazing suppliers allowed us to truly enjoy our day. To the wonderful owners and the amazing team at The Glenside, thank you for making our wedding dreams come true. You have set the bar incredibly high, and we truly believe this is the best hotel and wedding venue in the northeast! We can't recommend you enough. We met with Karen to book our wedding four months exactly from the date the 31st of Aug 2024 and from that day to the day we got married Karen and Aogan and the staff at The Glenside went above and beyond for us and we are extremely grateful .❤️ We had a very busy day and when we told Karen and Aogan it didn't phase them. ❤️ We got married outside and I have to say it was one of the best days of the year. The set up was just gorgeous and we couldn't have asked for better. We then had a saxophone player to play at the drinks reception which was set up outside and she said the staff at The Glenside helped her get set up and get what ever she needed. We had the best photographer (Paul O'Connor) he was so patient when taking pictures as we had a massive bridal party - 8 best men and 8 bridesmaids. We also had the best videographer (Kevin Byrne). Karen and Aogan arranged for the entrance for the meal and the bridal party was included. It was just brilliant. After the main course, we had a surprise for our guests (singer Secreto) and what a shock everyone got. It was brilliant. He had us all up on our feet doing the conga and the staff got involved while serving the desserts. Where would you even see that? (the staff are amazing). The band set up then (Clockwise) and what a show they put on. Everyone was up on their feet after the band (DJ Karl) played us into the early morning and he was amazing. ❤️ It was the best day ever and I would do it again every weekend if I could. ❤️ Me and my now husband would like to say a massive THANK YOU to Karen and Aogan and the staff for giving us the best day and we would highly recommend The Glenside for your special day. We couldn't fault anything at all xxxx

We had the most amazing day! Everything went perfectly, the staff and the food were amazing. Everyone was so impressed. Our guests gave us so much amazing feedback on everything. There isn't one thing we would change about our day, it was everything we had hoped for. Nothing was too much trouble and all the little details I had made or planned were laid out exactly how I wanted. I can't believe it's been a whole year already!

We got married at the Glenside Hotel on the 02nd of August 2024, and I don't think I'll ever be able to thank the Glenside Hotel enough for helping to create the best day of our lives! Everything was absolutely perfect - all the finishing details, the incredibly helpful and friendly staff always going the extra mile for us. I had so many people remark to me that they had never seen a bride so relaxed and that's all down to the Glenside, they truly made it so that we could completely enjoy our day and not have to worry about a single thing. I've had non-stop messages from friends and family, both old and young, saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to and no other could top it! The rooms were immaculate, and the food was delicious. We had the indoor ceremony and the fairy light backdrop and layout made it feel so special and intimate, and the greenery on the grounds of the hotel made for the most beautiful photos. The whole day was truly magical and I would highly recommend the Glenside to my family, friends and any upcoming brides and grooms-to-be! We also frequently go to the Glenside for their restaurant, or on Sundays for the carvery. The food is always delicious and I cannot recommend it enough!

We visited quite a few wedding venues which just didn't have the feeling, fit or attention to detail that we wanted. As soon as we walked in the door we knew it was right for us, happy and relaxed staff and guests, a really warm welcome from everyone. We met with Karen and Aogan, whose care, attention to detail and guidance helped make it the very best day for us, it was everything we wanted. Nothing was any trouble, the food wine, room, flowers were just wonderful and we were so blessed to have our ceremony outdoors, it was stunning. Our guests couldn't have been happier, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves, which is what we wanted our day to be for ourselves, our loved ones and our special friends. I must commend Karen, Aogan and all the staff, they are one heck of a team, Kevin and I are so happy we chose The Glenside for our special day, we've been back a number of times since June and we are treated so very well each time. We had our wedding at the Glenside last week. From the moment we booked our wedding back in 2023 until the day of the wedding it was 100% smooth sailing. Karen and Aogan couldn’t have been any more helpful and put on the most amazing day. From the staff, decor, music and food nothing could be faulted! Everyone who attended told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to and they continued to compliment the staff. Everything was exactly how we imagined and more! We had our wedding at The Glenside in August & it will be the talk of both of our families for many years to come. Karen, Aogan & every member of staff could not have done more for us. They made the best day of our lives, even better. Working with the team from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. They helped guide us through the whole process. Their choice of suppliers & the package provided was absolutely perfect. All involved in making the day special were fantastic. If you're looking for a wedding venue with incredible food, beautiful staging & some of the most professional and thoughtful people you'll ever meet in events planning then you can't go wrong with The Glenside. We can't thank them enough for everything they did for us & we will most certainly be regulars at the restaurant as the food alone is worth coming back for!

The team at The Glenside were incredible. They looked after us on the day and made the whole day so relaxing and everything went so smoothly. The food and the room were perfect. Aogan, Karen and the staff were so welcoming. They made the planning so easy and were so accommodating to any changes or ideas we had for the day. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. All our guests and ourselves had an amazing time at The Glenside celebrating our wedding.

From start to finish Karen & Aogán were brilliant with our wedding. We went for the all-inclusive wedding package which literally covered everything you need on the day! The cake, flowers, band, dj, dinner and wedding decorations were included. The suppliers were very accommodating and very easy to deal with. In the lead-up to and on the day of the wedding, the hotel staff were brilliant. The communication from the management was great and they kept us informed of every step making it stress-free. They always checked in with us to make sure things were going okay. They were professional and had everything timed perfectly from the start of the ceremony through the reception and into the dinner. The meal was so good! The variety for you to choose for your guests’ dinner is really good but the food itself was even better. Everyone loved it and is still talking about it today! The hotel didn’t seem to know the word ‘no’ and every little extra we wanted was okay with them. The night before our wedding I stayed with the bridal party at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to help us set up the wedding decor that we brought in ourselves. A special mention to Rhea who was at our beck and call and went out of her way to make it as easy as possible. We had an amazing time at our wedding and our guests had nothing but rave reviews themselves. We will recommend the Glenside to anyone we speak to and will always come back! We just had our wedding day in the Glenside Hotel on Friday. OMG what a day! Aogan and Karen and the whole team at the Glenside were amazing to deal with from the time of booking the wedding right up until we checked out. We cannot thank them enough for everything! There were many phone calls and emails. The day went just like you said it would - perfectly. The patience, kindness and professionalism you showed me throughout the whole wedding experience were first-class. You have amazing staff who made sure we were very well looked after. They were very kind and friendly, especially towards our 5-year-old twins and of course toward our family and friends. (They are still talking about how great the day it was.) From January 2022 to April 2024, Karen & Aogán were a dream! We booked, planned and enjoyed our day with ease from start to finish, thanks to the dream team and their fantastic staff. Nothing was too much to ask (believe me, I tested, I'm sure). Both were so responsive and caring in their ways, and we felt like we were given dedication and that we were the only couple getting married at the Glenside Hotel.
