Myself and my new husband James would like to say a big heartfelt thank you to The Angel Hotel and staff for helping us celebrate our wedding day. We decided on The Angel Hotel for our wedding reception because they offered wedding packages to suit what we wanted for our day. The venue itself was very well presented and also had accommodation for our guests should they want it. Booking in our wedding date was simple, and required a deposit to secure the date. Once booked, Millie was on hand throughout the planning process to answer any questions that we might have. As the wedding date got closer, we met with Millie to go through the timeline for the day, and was able to discuss food options, welcome drinks, room bookings and receive the contact details for the in house DJ. We had booked separately to have the reception room dressed, and to have a photo booth for the evening, and the hotel were happy to accommodate this. Millie and her team worked tirelessly all day and nothing was too much trouble, they were happy and smiling and all our guests commented on how lovely everyone was. The communication with the co-ordinator was brilliant. No ask was too much. We did have their resident DJ and his set us was brilliant and came away with a usb of photos of the night that guests sent to him. This was a bonus for us. Staff were impeccable and worked to high standard . The layout of the tables was perfect for us as we did have disabled guests and they could get around easy enough. Thank you for a job well done.

We had a fabulous day and evening at The Angel Hotel when we got married. The food was very good and all dietary requirements were catered for without any issues. The disco included in our package was excellent and the DJ was happy to play any songs requested. The bar and waiting staff throughout the whole day were brilliant too! Bar prices are reasonable for such a lovely venue. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a reasonably priced wedding where a lot of the stress is taken away by the wedding coordinators.

We had beautiful weather which made the venue even more special as we made the most of the garden which looked wonderful. We were greeted with a drink on arrival and a smile from all staff, the canapés went down a treat and the tables looked great. Master of ceremonies was great and kept the day rolling smoothly, food was delicious and arrived hot and enjoyed by all. The day was ended with a fantastic disco for our evening guests and a buffet that went down well with all our guests to soak up the alcohol consumed. A big thank you to all the staff who were very professional and efficient and made the day so perfect.

Oh my goodness! What a fabulous day. Everything went like clockwork, but without being too rigid - it just seemed to flow! The staff and Gary the DJ were great at keeping everything tied together, whilst also being flexible on the day with subtle changes in timings or food-fussy children! The space was perfect, loved having the flexibility of the courtyard and the bar as well as the function room. Gary's slideshow was a huge hit. The music was just the right volume level. The food was nicely presented and the staff were so so helpful. I really can't rate the whole experience highly enough!

We had our wedding reception there on the 15th April 2017.They were very attentive,We can't thank Alicya and her team enough for making our day really special.They could not have done any more to make our day run smoothly This is a wonderful venue for such a special day.We have wonderful memories of our day.the same can be said for their resident DJ who entertained us all day & night.We ended the weekend with a Sunday lunch there with family with the attention to detail.would recommend this venue highly.

We would like to thank the Angel Hotel, and it’s staff for doing a totally amazing job of hosting our wedding breakfast and evening reception, we had numerous last minute changes, including some on the actual day, but nothing was a problem, and everything ran like a dream. The room was laid out perfectly, and was quickly turned around for the evening reception. The resident DJ was amazing and soon had a majority of the guests up on the dance floor. We can’t recommend this venue for your wedding day highly enough, it takes a lot of the usual pre-wedding stress away, everything is dealt with in a professional manner, and confirmed by phone or email. Alycia did a fantastic job of coordinating the staff, and rounding up the guests etc. to ensure everything ran to plan and on time. We booked the set wedding package deal, which not only was excellent value for money, but it also gives you the flexibility to change / alter / add to suit your specific requirements if necessary. When we were looking for somewhere to host our wedding reception we wanted a place that would not only provide a good looking location, food and drink, but also somewhere that would take the worry out of our big day: the Angel exceeded our expectations from the minute we stepped out of our wedding car. The location is lovely especially the picturesque courtyard garden at the back. The room was laid out absolutely to our specifications with some lovely touches added by the venue, and the turn around from wedding breakfast to evening reception was done quickly and efficiently whilst guests checked-in to the hotel or chilled in the attractive bar area. The hotel rooms are very large and all finished to a very high standard, the Lansdowne honeymoon suite is exquisite! The food was the best we have eaten at a wedding reception and served in generous proportions, we cannot believe how they provided such high-quality cuisine to 60 people off all ages with varying dietary requirements. In short, the Angel Hotel made our special day and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect place to hold their wedding reception. We would also like to convey our special thanks to Alicya, the Operations Manager, who presided over the whole day; a consummate professional to whom nothing was too much trouble and who ran everything so smoothly whilst remaining unobtrusive. We had an absolutely fantastic day for our wedding. Everything at the angel was perfect. Nothing was too much from the staff. Especially a big thank you to Damian who made sure all the preparation and our day ran smoothly. We recently had our wedding reception at the Angel hotel in chippenham. Damian and his team were amazing from the build up to the wedding to the wedding day it's self. They went out there way to help us try different ways to lay out the tables to suit us and on the day helped us set up in the evening (which we had a child's play area). Damian even wanted contact details of cake and flowers just incase they didn't turn up! It took alot of stress off us knowing that damian and his team were there for us. The hotel itself is gorgeous and looked beautiful in the wedding photos! I highly recommend the Angel hotel we couldn't imagine our day in any other venue. They are professional and friendly and was a joy to have them as part of our wedding!

Gary and I had an absolutely fantastic day everything we had discussed with Damien and Suzanne was as we had requested. I would recommend the Angel Hotel in Chippenham for your wedding. The Lacock suite was a fantastic end to a brilliant day. It was great to have the venue and rooms under one roof, with the registry office a short walk. Myself and my husband had our wedding reception at The Angel Hotel in August 2015. The venue is beautiful and the staff catered for our every need. We had meetings and regular email contact with Peter who was fantastic on the day. Everything went so smoothly and ran exactly to time! The wedding breakfast food was delicious as was the evening buffet (there was plenty of food for everyone!). The in house DJ was amazing and made the evening reception very entertaining for all ages. The hotel also has a courtyard garden that was perfect for taking photos of our guests enjoying the drinks reception as well as a great setting for our outdoor photo booth. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the day and the venue and we would highly recommend the Angel Hotel as a fantastic place to have your wedding reception.

We had the most wonderful day, great sunny weather for 31 Oct and faultless service from the Angel Hotel. We had excellent pre wedding consultations which made the day go without any hitches. We can’t thank the staff enough , in particular Peter Hayward, who acted as MC, and his team on the day, for all they did to make the day run smoothly. We chose a traditional Roast Turkey meal, which was lovely and plentiful with loads of veg and potatoes. Not your nuvo cuisine rubbish but a good hearty meal, with due consideration to our guests with food allergies well catered for. My son in particular was very grateful that the whole evening buffet had been made dairy free by the Hotel kitchen in recognition of those guests at the Wedding Breakfast who had dairy allergies, a rarity for him not to be limited to a plate of special food. The hotel had recently been repainted and lucky for us this was completed in time not to spoil our pictures with scaffolding. We would highly recommend the Angel for a wedding, great value for money, a wide selection on the menu and all at reasonable costs. We had 60 for the Wedding Breakfast with another 30 in the evening, live music and a DJ and it didn't break the bank.

My hubby and I got married in July this year. We wanted something quite personal with immediate family for our wedding breakfast and then a huge party afterwards for other family and friends. We found the Angel to be the perfect venue...We had no concerns about our day at all. The staff there ensured that every detail was covered including the Mickey surprise I had arranged. Through out the evening the staff serving were also really helpful and polite and the fact that we didn't have to put anything away at the end of the evening was the icing on the cake! the inhouse DJ catered to our every need and personalised everything perfectly! There were plenty of evening snacks no one went hungry! The room we stayed in over night was the perfect start to our married life. Overall my husband and I would definitely recommend the Angel Hotel to anyone who is looking to enhance their special day!!
