We started out planning our wedding by visiting The Park Hotel, fully intending on visiting other hotels before deciding on our ultimate location. But after meeting with Declan, we made our decision that evening. He made everything sound so easy and stress-free. They thought of everything, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everything was so easy working with Declan & his team. Any request we made was catered for without hesitation. Any questions we had were answered immediately, and they reassured us when it came to any concerns or worries we had. On the day itself, everything was so relaxed, and it all ran so smoothly. So many of our guests commented on the stunning garden for the drinks reception and the abundant amounts of food that were available in the garden area. The high quality of service continued throughout the day with the fabulous meal and delicious evening buffet. Everybody was so impressed with everything, from the location, the quality of food, to the brilliant service and the friendly staff. Where do I start with how The Park Hotel Dungarvan were with our wedding day? From the moment I enquired in regards to the wedding set-up and what it would entail. I have been given every detail step by step, information all laid out in detail. The cost, the additions that The Park can do and provide. The ease of planning and knowing I could trust Declan and the team with our wedding day. I stayed the night before, and I couldn't have received a more outstanding welcome from a bottle of bubbles, to chocolate Strawberries. Robes on the bed. It was so welcoming, and the knowledge that I was in good hands relaxed my nerves. The day itself was outstanding. Declan had texted me to see how everything was at the ceremony, and as we were heading in. I could see bubbles and a red carpet ready for us, and the outside garden area was ready for us. It was amazing. All our guests said it was such a beautiful setting, it set the tone for the wedding. From the walk into the ballroom to our dinner to speeches, everything was at ease and such a good and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone was raving about the quality of the food and the outstanding taste of every dish. The wedding evening was hopping, and everyone enjoyed the night. Everyone that I have spoken to said the staff were so kind, caring and couldn't have done more for them if anyone had a query. I was told many times by couples after the wedding, they wish they could have their wedding again just to go to The Park Hotel. I can highly recommend The Park Hotel, I would do it all again in the morning.

We had our wedding at The Park Hotel, Dungarvan, on the 17th of July 2025, and we’re so glad we chose it. The hotel has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, and the team knows how to deliver excellent service with genuine care and attention. Although it rained on the day and we couldn’t use the garden area for our drinks reception, the staff adapted everything and created a beautiful indoor setup. The atmosphere remained vibrant, and the day flowed perfectly. The food was a real highlight. Our guests are still talking about how unreal the beef and seabass were, and the carving station was a big hit! A huge thank you to Declan and Clodagh, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. Their commitment to getting the food just right made a big impact, and we really appreciated their attention to detail. The reception room looked gorgeous with thoughtful touches throughout. The service on the day was friendly, efficient, and relaxed—nothing ever felt rushed or stressful. We celebrated our day at the beautiful Park Hotel in Dungarvan. From start to finish, it was a dream thanks to all the staff, especially Declan and Malachy, whose attention to detail was top class. We were so lucky to have sunshine and 30-degree heat, and had our speeches out in the garden, which is gorgeous. All the guests were complimenting the hotel and particularly the food, which went down a real treat! The girls in the reservations were so accommodating, and nothing was too much of an ask for them. I would 100% be recommending The Park Hotel Dungarvan for your wedding - especially if you want to be stress-free, they are a great team! I couldn’t recommend them enough, and we have zero complaints!

The Park Hotel Dungarvan was an amazing wedding venue. We were so delighted and so happy with our choice to have our wedding here. Our wedding reception was brilliant, down to the attentive service, beautiful set up and fantastic food. We got so many compliments from our guests about the fabulous outdoor space, the food and the excellent service. Declan, Rebecca and all the staff at The Park Hotel could honestly have not done a better job. From start to finish, it was amazing. There was no job too big or too small. Everything we needed was done by the hotel, and the staff were so helpful to all our guests. We spent three nights at the hotel and everything was perfect. The food on the day was amazing, all our guests said the same thing, and it's hard to impress 130 people at the same time. We would Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get married. We had the most magical day. From the moment we got to The Park Hotel, everything was at ease. Nothing was too much, and every single person we dealt with was beyond kind and couldn't do enough for us and our guests. Declan was outstanding to deal with; he knew his stuff, he was so calm and caring, which is exactly what you need on your wedding day. The meal was exceptional. Seven weeks on from the day, and we are still hearing about the meal, especially the beef, just mouth-watering. For us, as the bride and groom, every bit of the meal from start to finish couldn't have gone better. Everyone was delighted, even our gluten-free and vegan guests were well catered for. We were blessed with the weather on the day, so we got the added bonus of the outside garden for our reception drinks and nibbles. Again, the staff outdid themselves. It was the icing on the cake. Guests couldn't get over how amazing the nibbles were, cookies, dipped Strawberries, mini scones, etc, just show-stopping. The effort that went into it all from the hotel was amazing; we genuinely couldn't have picked a better venue, and yes, I would do it all again; they made our day extra special. Every single detail was thought of. Yes, it's a big day, but they made it feel calm. If you are lucky enough to have your wedding in The Park Hotel Dungarvan, you are in for a real treat. It will be the best decision you make. 10/10.

We could not recommend The Park Hotel enough for a wedding. From the outset, we felt completely looked after and our minds at ease. Anything we thought of or wanted was already thought of by them. Communication on the entire lead-up was class, nearly always receiving responses the same day. The people, the venue, the food, everything was just perfect, from our first viewing to after the wedding was done. We felt extremely welcomed, and everything we could have wanted was accommodated. The morning of the wedding, we got ready in the hotel. We switched rooms that day to the bridal suite, and they moved everything for us during the wedding, so we didn't have to think of a thing. They set everything up for the girls for hair & make-up and brought us a breakfast buffet of everything you could imagine. In the fabulous garden for the drinks reception, the set-up was beautiful (they even added things like a suncream station, which we didn't even know about!). The drinks, food, and snacks were perfect. The dinner was amazing - the food was the exact same as it was at the food tasting, which usually is not the case! We received a tonne of compliments on the food, e.g. that's the best food we've ever had at a wedding. Declan kept the day and night running so smoothly that the whole thing flowed beautifully. There was nothing missing or anything we would change. We have received many comments that it was the best wedding some of our guests have been to, one even saying it was the most fun they've had in decades. Another thing which I feel is important to mention is that there were no hidden costs at all. I know that with a lot of wedding venues, there are extras added on, for example, a charge to use the PA system. The cost The Park tells you up front is the cost you will pay at the end. You really feel they are there to look after you, not just a transaction like it can feel at other venues. Could not recommend The Park Hotel more.

My husband and I had the most amazing wedding at The Park Hotel in May. Honestly, we could not have asked for better. Declan, Malachy, and all the staff from catering and cleaning to bar and reception went above and beyond for us and looked after us for our 3-day stay at The Park Hotel. Our reception was held outside in their stunning garden, and there was never a drought of food or drink for our guests. The meal was fantastic and a part of our wedding that guests are talking about, saying they never had a wedding meal like it before. We could not thank The Park Hotel enough for making us feel so special on our wedding day and for the time and effort that was put into meetings, meal plans and details prior to our day. We did not worry about anything on the day as Declan and the team made sure our guests and we were always looked after. The staff at the Park Hotel did everything they could and more to make our day so special. All details of the day were perfect, from the food to all the staff, it couldn't have been better. The garden, which hosted our reception, was set up like something you would only see in a picture-perfect scene. The ballroom was stunning too. Even in the lead up to the wedding and getting all the final details together, Declan and his team just filled us with reassurances and helped to keep us calm and enjoy the build up. Scenic location, very easy to access from the main road, plenty of rooms, friendliest staff you could ever come across and a very welcoming hotel.

We are so grateful to The Park Hotel for helping us achieve our dream wedding. We attended a wedding fair at the beginning of the year and we were instantly sold. Since that day, Fiona and Declan have always been at the other end of a phone call or email to answer any of the many questions we had. They really could not have been more helpful. We had indoor and outdoor options for both the ceremony and the drinks reception depending on the weather. We ended up being lucky enough to have our drinks reception in their fabulous garden area. It was perfect. What really blew us and our guests away was the amount and the quality of food. They had a spread of canapés for our reception, followed by the most amazing 5-course meal, followed by a turkey and ham carving station at 11 pm. We have received many texts and messages, all commenting on the delicious food and excellent service. We were still full for breakfast, but it was too good to miss. We had our wedding (civil) at The Park Hotel, Dungarvan 4 weeks ago and we cannot put into words how amazing our day was. Since day one 2 years previous, initially meeting Fiona and the team to checking out the day after the wedding, it was stress free and enjoyable start to finish. We had Clodagh overseeing everything on the day and she was superb, I got ready in the holiday homes and she arrived with umbrellas and kept me dry on the quick trip into the hotel. The staff that worked the wedding were so friendly and so nice.. especially to our 4 kids! The food was the talk of the wedding- everyone was so impressed! We got married in The Park Hotel last Friday, the 8th of October. Our wedding coordinator was Fiona Stevens, who I had been dealing with from the day we booked our wedding. From then, we knew it was going to be absolutely amazing! The service in the hotel was outstanding, all the staff were so polite and friendly, and the food was amazing! The decor for our ceremony and for our meal were top class. It was like a fairytale. It's a day we will remember for the rest of our lives. We will forever be grateful and would definitely recommend The Park Hotel for a wedding, A1!!!!!!

The easiest and best decision of our wedding planning process was booking with The Park Hotel, Dungarvan. We couldn't have asked for a better day or for more pleasant and kind people to work with throughout the whole process. We had three postponements due to covid, and through it all The Park Hotel was there offering support and consideration in such a trying time. They helped in any way that they could, so the venue was never something we had to worry about. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside which really was a dream come true. A lot of work has been done in the garden area, making it a lovely intimate setting for a ceremony. We were recommended The Park Hotel due to several very positive experiences of relatives and neighbors in regards to the food and service, and it most certainly lived up to its reputation. The food is faultless and I say this not just in regards to the wedding menu, but for the several times we have eaten in the bar there. It was such a highlight of the day for us, and very much so for our guests as well. I couldn't write this review without mentioning the general manager, Declan, as dealing with him was the greatest pleasure from the beginning. He is a true asset to the wonderful team at the hotel, and we will always remember how he helped make our day one of the best of our lives. In the aftermath of the wedding, we are just counting down the days until we get to stay at this great hotel again but until then, we will cherish the memories of our wedding day there.

Joanne and I can't speak highly enough of how wonderful of a day we both had. The hotel speaks for itself. The planning process was effortless with Declan, Fiona and everybody else involved in the lead up to the wedding and especially on the day. We had our wedding in the Park Hotel in July. As much as we considered postponing again, we are so delighted to have gone ahead. From the start in 2017, they were so helpful when we were looking to book our wedding for 2020, but then covid hit, and Declan was on the ball helping me change my date to 2021. There was absolutely no problem in me doing so. Coming up to the wedding, we received constant emails to let us know how things stood with the pandemic. They helped us relax a lot. Fiona Steven's the events manager, was always on the other side of emails and the phone to help me out. She is actually a star. We moved our ceremony to the hotel quite close to the date and again nothing was a big problem to them. We had our meal tasting, which was a gorgeous meal. Fiona had me promised that the hotel would look amazing, and she didn't lie. It was stunning, from the ceremony room, the drinks reception area, to the dining area. The centrepieces were stunning alone. The team truly did their magic, and it was the best day of our lives and a lot of our guests lives as we hadn't all been together in nearly a year.
