We had our wedding at the Legacy Hotel Victoria on Saturday, 29 September. The day went like clockwork and such fun, which is exactly what we wanted and so much of that was down to Will. Nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to make our day so very special - every request we made was met enthusiastically by Will and the decorations were amazing. We had a massive ‘decal’ for the dance floor and he arranged for this to be fixed with very little notice (just the previous evening). Will is a thoroughly lovely person and absolutely deserves to win the award.

My husband and I held our June 16, 2018 wedding reception at the Hotel Victoria. We would like to nominate Will Sparling, the Events Manager. Will was wonderful to work with. He really listened to us, made great suggestions, and made the process of planning our reception so much fun. Will is a true professional. He was always calm and reassuring (even when we were panicked due to last minute changes). Will’s wit made us laugh which was so nice, as planning a wedding and reception was stressful. We can’t recommend Will enough, he and the Hotel Victoria will make your dream reception come true.

We would like to say a HUGE thank you for making our day so special. We had the most amazing day and am sad it’s all over. The day went exactly as we wished, the food was amazing and the venue was wonderful. Thank you, Will, for answering all the questions when we asked, being prompt and understanding our needs and requirements, and being accommodating when needed. On behalf of myself & my wife Beverley, we would like to say a big thank you to the staff at the Legacy Victoria Hotel in Newquay Cornwall for making our wedding day the absolute success that it was. We tied the knot just a few weeks ago in June at this wonderful charming venue, voted 'top-rated wedding venue in Cornwall! From our arrival the day before our wedding, until we left 3 days later, the whole event was magical; well managed and professionally executed. My wife & I together with a small family party of 20 travelled down from the Midlands and Wiltshire. Some of our guests stayed at the venue and loved it. The bedrooms were comfortable, spotlessly clean and well priced. All our needs were catered for and the staff were helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The wedding breakfast was wonderful, absolutely delicious, probably the best beef I have ever tasted in my life. A huge thank you to Will Sparling in banqueting who was also the master of ceremony, we felt he went the extra mile for us. Thank you Victoria Hotel. We are planning to go back down later in the year, out of season, and we've already booked for next Easter 2019.

My husband booked our vow renewal as a surprise for our 10th wedding anniversary. I had only 11 weeks to organise the details and Sarah Mitchell and her team were fantastic. Everything was arranged via email as we live over 200 miles away and I couldn't have asked for better service. Sarah arranged a menu to suit our tastes and took delivery of our 4 tier cheese "cake" for us. She also arranged rooms for all our family and friends despite a lot of indecision. When we arrived the day before there was so much help to set up the table decorations. They also set up the chairs with the covers and baby blue sashes for us to see. Sarah asked for instructions on where to put the decorations for us for the day. On the day itself we couldn't have asked for more. Everything was perfect. The Sun Lounge looked beautiful with the sea view obviously helping. All the tables and the room had been carefully decorated and the white carpet had been rolled out ready. Sarah even sat out of sight to play the music during the ceremony. All our guests commented on the high quality of the food and how good it was that it was all hot (which is not always the case when a lot of people need to be served). My husband and I can't praise Sarah and the Hotel Victoria highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as nothing was too much trouble.

From start to finish the staff at the legacy Victoria hotel where most helpful and supportive. This reduced the stress significantly of planning our wedding and having Sarah over seeing everything was a god send. From the ceremony to the evening reception everything was perfect right down to the smallest details both my husband and myself would not have changed a thing. The food was amazing and all my guests commented on how nice all of the food was especially the wedding breakfast. Feedback from friends and family said it was by far the best atmosphere and so relaxed through out the day and evening and I believe that is partly because of my personality but mostly down to the experience of the staff. As a venue we were happy with the look and style of the hotel too which gave us lots of photo opportunities both inside and outside. If I had to give the legacy Victoria hotel a rating I would give them 10/10. This really was a happily ever after!!!

Newquay was our first choice for our wedding so we set about finding a venue . After looking at several venues we decided on the Legacy Hotel Victoria and boy are we pleased we did. From start to finish the staff were fantastic Sarah Mitchell guided us through what we thought would be a headache , meals, table arrangements etc as we are 250 miles away from Cornwall ! Guest numbers and menu's were changed several times without any issues from the hotel. we had planned on the service being carried out outside however the normal fine September weather was a little unpredictable so the hotel left it until the last minute but finally decided the service would be better indoors ,a little disappointed until we seen the room... simply beautiful ! The whole day was perfect in every way and cannot thank the hotel Victoria and its fantastic staff for making it a day to remember not only for us but virtually every guest commented how wonderful the day and venue was. A real 10 out of 10 experience.

We booked our wedding at Hotel Victoria Newquay in April 2017. As soon as we viewed the hote,l myself and my husband fell in love with the everything about it, especially the views. From start to finish the support we received was 5* so helpful.we were supplied with a wedding co ordinator called sarah, who was my lifeline many times. Sarah and the staff at the hotel were amazing, made us feel as ease, especially on our big day. The wedding day was a dream, we had our ceremony at the back of the hotel, where the views are breathtaking. All of our guests complimented on how beautiful the scene was. The food, the rooms everything was so perfect for our Magical day,I couldn't fault a single thing. I would 100% recommend Hotel Victoria for any kind of wedding big or small. I just wish I could relive the day over and over again. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Victoria for our dream wedding

I want to say a special thank you, to Sarah Mitchell who organised our wedding in May and the helpful and courteous staff that were there on our day. Sarah advised with everything from arranging the DJ at late notice, to sorting out a favourite starter which wasn't on the menu choices and ensuring any dietary requirements were met. Sarah was there on our day and helped make the day go smoothly, even making sure my surprise cake topper was just that "a Surprise". Sarah also managed to take some fantastic photos capturing moments that no one else did. Our day was perfect, the sun came out and we were able to be married outside in the pergola with the backdrop of Towan Bay. We had canapés and drinks in the garden during the afternoon and were shown into the restaurant were we had our wedding breakfast. The food was excellent and considering we are not local and had not even tried any of the dishes, the meal excelled. The service was great, no one waited for anything and everything went smoothly. The hotel is very organised and well practised at weddings, they led us through the whole process, were open to suggestions and great at offering solutions and choices. Nothing was too great an issue for them. Our guests travelled far and wide and they too thought the whole day was fantastic especially with the sea view making the whole event more special. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Legacy Hotel Victoria on the 13th May 2017. It was amazing, and far greater than we ever imagined it would be. The events team were fantastic throughout the planning process and when our wedding day came nothing was too much effort. They were always in the background making sure everything was going to plan and were there to sort out any issue that may arise. The day itself was faultless. We were a little worried at first in regards to the weather and so had agreed that it would probably be best to set up the ceremony inside, however when the morning of the wedding arrived and the sun was shining, they got team together last minute to set up outside under their pergola. It was as if they wanted our wedding to be as perfect as what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. Having the wedding outside was like getting married abroad, our photos which came from this were pure bliss and all our guests complimented how beautiful the day was. The reception went smoothly, the food was delicious and so amazingly presented. The detail which went into our day was extraordinary and the price in no way matched up to the amount of effort that the events team provided. I cannot thank the hotel enough, and the memories of our wedding will stay with us forever. . the hotel itself overlooks the sea, and to have our wedding in such a beautiful atmosphere was truly great and i would definitely recommend this venue to any happy couple considering getting married in Cornwall.

My husband and I booked our wedding with hotel Victoria back in June last year, and finally got married April 2017. All I can say, from start to finish the service and support we had was 5*. It was the perfect day, and with the weather on our side we were able to get married looking across the ocean from the back of the hotel. Beautiful. The staff were so helpful from start to finish, I couldn't fault anything. We want to say a massive thank you, not just from us, but my family and friends also for making our wedding weekend magical. This was wonderful hotel for our daughters wedding on 22/4/17 the main wedding party stayed in the top floor suites for 2 nights views are amazing and the rooms where spacious,comfy and clean the wedding party had a wonderful time all getting ready for the wedding in these rooms we booked a pre-wedding night meal for 20 which was served quickly and was nice and tasty breakfast on both days was very nice and also used swimming pool also very pleasant Sarah the wedding organiser was fantastic arranging everything for the wedding everything ran so smoothly on the day the wedding breakfast and evening hog roast was outstanding the whole experience was amazing and would like to thank all the hotel's amazing staff whom made this day so very special

We cannot thank Sam and Sarah enough for all their help and support with helping us with our wedding reception. The food was lovely all our guests commented how tasty it was and we were very happy that everyone enjoyed it. My daughter got married in the Legacy Royal Victoria hotel in August 2016 . All of us living in London / Kent l was really worried her big day would be hard to plan as wanted . My worries were soon dismissed . The Events team did everything to make her day go without a hitch . It was amazing They told us of florists , photographers etc all of which were amazing They ordered things in for us that we wanted and addressed all the little finishing touches They even drove Bride and Groom to the beach for photos We had so many compliments about the breakfast buffet , it was outstanding As was the eve hog roast and childrens buffet Sam dedicated the day to the wedding to make sure everything was as required , thankyou Sam The whole day was just faultless I asked my daughter if she would change anything and she said , it was a perfect day all she could of dreamt of and more ! I had my wedding at The Hotel Victoria on Sunday the 29th May, we had the most amazing day & we were lucky enough to get married in the garden, under the pergola overlooking the beach! ❤️ The entire day was perfect, the staff at the hotel were organised & clearly confident in every aspect of the day! We opted for the bbq wedding breakfast, there was plenty to choose from & everything tasted great. We had a larger than average wedding party of 120 guests in total yet there was plenty to go around & again the staff were in total control & called each table in turn. I stayed for 3 nights in total, breakfast each day was great, good selection, well cooked & nice relaxed atmosphere. The wedding co-ordinator Sam was amazing from start to finish, I don't live in Newquay but she was always available via phone/email & we felt assured by her constant state of calm & ease!

I first feel in love with the legacy hotel victoria when me and fiancé went to look at it in 2014. It's a lovely and charming hotel with a stunning view of the sea. After talking we decided to book with them. We later went back to discuss what rooms we wanted the ceremony set in and wedding breakfast. We found everyone at the hotel helpful and pleasure to work with. We meet sam who coordinated the wedding and Ivan the hotel manager. Both friendly and helpful. Me and my husband got married on the 19th September. The day was perfect amazing weather for our outdoor ceremony to the fantastic food in our wedding breakfast. The rooms were decorated perfectly and exactly to what I requested. I think back to the wedding everyday and I can't believe how amazing it was, feels like a dream. Sam and all the staff were amazing and made our day so special.

We had our wedding at The Hotel Victoria on 25th July 2015 and it was absolutely perfect!! All of the staff went out of their way to make sure our day ran smoothly, especially Sam (the events organiser) who also put all of our worries at ease in the lead up to the wedding. Sam and the staff decorated the dining hall beautifully on the day, my partner took all our table decorations down the day before and exlpained how we would like things set up and they did everything for us meaing no stress on the morning of the wedding, and it couldnt of looked more perfect. We had carvery for our meal and it was very tasty and done with ease- no long cues at the carvery. We couldnt of asked for more on our special day and all of ours guests commented on how great the day was.

My daughter got married here. The day was perfect from beginning to end. The ceremony was held in the sun lounge and it looked magical, with white net drapes, white satin chairs with silver organza ribbons, and the aisle had a red carpet which was lined with church candles embedded in crystals in tall glass cylinder vases. The dining room looked out of this world and was decorated to perfection with white organza drapes, perfect white linen, twinkling white fairy lights, gleaming glassware, sparkly crystals and warm glowing candlelight. The food was delicious, well cooked, nicely presented, plenty of it and, to be quite honest, considering the wedding party was 80+, far exceeded my expectations. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and the service was excellent. What more can I say - other than we never wanted the day to end!

We originally booked our Daughter's wedding at the Hotel Victoria over 2 years ago but unfortunately had to cancel for family reasons. When we went back to re-arrange a year later they honoured the original booking including the deposit and cost, which was most welcome. All the way through the build up to the wedding day Zoe was on hand to advise and assist and nothing was too much trouble. The actual day was perfect with everything running to plan and not one hiccup. Brilliant food, service, location and the good weather just put the icing on the cake. On top of all that the price was competitive and we were able to afford all the extras that make the day special. The best way to summarise is to say that if we were to do it all again we wouldn't change a thing. Thanks again Zoe for a fantastic day.
