We got married in the Newpark last Christmas & we couldn't recommend the hotel enough to any other engaged couples. The staff at the Newpark could not have done more in the lead up to our wedding & on the day itself. As a hotel, they went above & beyond to meet our wishes for our wedding, whether it be requests in the drinks reception, to helping out last minute with an easel. There is a level of professionalism within the Newpark hotel that is unmatched. On the day we couldn't fault a thing from the meal to the Christmas decorations, it was everything we wanted. There is always a sense of family in the hotel & it's a lovely touch that one of the Flynn's, came in to congratulate us on the day. What a venue for a wedding. The staff make this hotel. They are so professional, friendly and welcoming. The food at our wedding was beautiful and also the BBQ the next day in the gorgeous terrace. Mary & Michaela put us at complete ease from our first meeting in the Newpark. Nothing was an issue and they went out of their way to accommodate our requests. All our guests are still talking about the dinner and level of service the staff provided all day long and into the early morning. I couldn't praise Newpark hotel enough! Hands down the best wedding venue in Kilkenny . The food was absolutely exceptional on the day, we knew this would be the case as our tasting was fabulous but to see it all come together on the day and hear all our guests say how much they loved their food made our day! We got married on the hottest day of the year and had our drinks reception outside. When we arrived it looked amazing and I was so impressed to see there were sunscreen stations dotted around the garden for our guests to use, I hadn't thought of this and it was such a necessity on the day! Inside was perfectly cool with the air con, we honestly felt like we were on holidays! The staff couldn't do more for us, anything we needed they were absolutely on the ball! The whole experience from first booking the wedding, having meetings and the day of, the staff had us so at ease and really made us feel like they would take care of everything and they really did. I didn't feel like I had to worry about a thing! I've since spoke to many of my guests who shared the same sentiment as my husband and I, Newpark just know how to do weddings!! We got married on July 26th 2025 and The Newpark Hotel were simply the best in making our day so special. I was regularly in contact with Mary and Michaela who supported me on decisions and gave me advice when I needed it most. The day of the wedding was perfect. The management team on the day made everything so relaxed and it flowed seamlessly. We were even greeted by the owner of the hotel before we entered the ballroom, he made us feel so welcome and ensured us that he would be readily available if we needed anything. The personal touches and attention to detail cannot be matched. I will always be grateful for how special and memorable our day was surrounded by those we love and taken care of by such a hard working dedicated team in the Newpark - Thank you!!

We had our wedding here in August and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! The venue itself is absolutely fabulous – beautiful setting, amazing atmosphere, and everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. The food was incredible – our guests are still talking about how delicious it was! Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavour. We had our wedding in the Newpark Hotel on Sunday, Oct 5th 2025. We booked a year before and had no idea what to do or where to start! The team were absolutely amazing from start to finish, they advised, supported, and went above and beyond in customer service. Our main concern for our day was we wanted our guests to enjoy the day and the food. Every person with us on the day was so impressed with the location, staff, service, food and atmosphere. We could not fault the Newpark on anything in the lead up to or on our wedding day. Right from the 1st day we met her, Michaela was a dream to deal with and nothing was too much trouble, she was always available to help with any queries. When we chose the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny, we just knew that it was the venue for us. Even though the wedding coordinator we booked with had left, we were treated like royalty. Every small detail was seen to on our wedding day, there was absolutely nothing that the wedding team missed. Mary and Michaela were absolutely fantastic any detail from when we booked to when we walked out that door two days after our wedding was no big deal. Siobhan was with us from the moment we stepped out of the wedding car to the moment we left the hotel, she was absolutely amazing again, nothing was a big ask. The service and the staff, everything was amazing. All our guests had no complaints and everybody said the food was amazing, some said it was the best they’ve ever had from a wedding. Some people say it was the best wedding they were ever at and it will be hard for anybody to top this and this was simply down to the professionalism and attention to detail from the team at The Newpark Hotel Kilkenny. Would highly recommend to any wedding couple getting married to chose the Newpark Hotel, you won’t regret it.

What can I say about Newpark Hotel, it was just an amazing hotel! The wedding team especially Michaela were just exceptional. Every tiny detail was listened to, nothing was ever a bother when we asked a question. We had to move our wedding date forward as a family member was unwell and I cannot put into words how grateful we are for Newpark making it such an ease to do. The kindness and compassion shown will never be forgotten in our house. The venue was spectacular, we got married in November and we never planned a winter wedding but the Christmas decorations were so magical and I would encourage anyone to have a winter wedding in this venue. The pictures we have in the venue are just stunning. On the day, the food was amazing and all our guests agreed and couldn’t get over how attentive and professional all the staff were. Nothing was any trouble on the lead up or on the day! We also had small children and teenagers at our wedding and there was so much for them to do in the hotel, they were never bored! If in doubt book this venue!

The Newpark Hotel outdid themselves for our wedding day. From our first viewing in March 2024, we were hooked, even after viewing a few other venues. The welcome and homely feeling of the hotel and its staff meant the other venues didn't get a look in. And we are so glad we went with our gut and chose the Newpark. From Sinead in the early stages to Mary and Michaela, and all the team, we were so well looked after all the way through. All our requests were accommodated, and their advice along the way was so helpful. We stayed the night before and had a lovely meal with our families, then the next morning they provided a lovely room for hair and makeup to be done and brought breakfast to us. Marita met us on the way out the door to the church with glasses of water. Such a small gesture but it really is the little details that make the difference. We really didn't have to think about anything all day. And from when everyone arrived at the hotel later on the staff were there to see that everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious(and there was plenty of it!), the service was speedy and professional, the atmosphere was so relaxed and everything just flowed. A special thanks to Peter and Aoife who were always around to keep everything moving along. After having met with the wedding team at the Newpark Hotel, we knew it was the perfect hotel for us. All of the team, especially Mary and Laura, went above and beyond for us from start to finish. I wish we could remember the names of the rest of the amazing team because each and every one of them is due a mention. What a welcoming hotel with the friendliest staff. We both agreed it was a hotel that made us feel so at home. Both my partner and I have been to numerous weddings, and the food couldn’t be compared to the food we had at the Newpark Hotel - the Chateaubriand was the best we have ever had, and Mary was fantastic in accommodating us so well to ensure we had the perfect package for our day. What was memorable when organising our wedding is that the staff never pushed for the more pricy options and left all the extras down to us, simply making sure we were well informed, never feeling any pressure, unlike other hotels that we viewed. All of our guests complimented the amazing food and service that they received. Everyone felt so relaxed and at ease throughout the day, including us. We never once had a worry. The bridal suite on the night was amazing, and another amazing touch from the hotel was a bottle of champagne with personalised champagne flutes with our names and wedding date on them. We also booked our day two with the hotel, in the terrace area of the hotel. It was stunning. They offered a package with a one-man band, BBQ and prosecco on arrival. We also couldn’t recommend this enough. More amazing food, and again, the staff could not be faulted. If you are considering booking this hotel -DO IT! We honestly could not recommend this hotel enough. You can be assured that your wedding day is in safe and capable hands. Thank you again to all at the Newpark Hotel for exceeding our expectations.

I cannot recommend the Newpark Hotel enough for your wedding day! From the very beginning, they were just fantastic. We had to postpone our original date due to a bereavement and they were so accommodating and made us feel so much better about our decision to move our big day. In the lead-up to the wedding, there were no silly questions, no unanswered emails or phone calls, and not once did we feel like we couldn't contact the team with any queries. We had not one but two 'final' wedding meetings to ensure that the hotel understood our vision fully. There wasn't one detail out of place on our wedding day, the team are incredibly organised and left no stone unturned to make sure that everything we wanted came to light! We got ready in the hotel that morning and from 7 am until the early hours of the following morning, when we finally got to bed, we and our guests were so well looked after. The food was absolutely incredible, so many people commented on it and said that they ate the entire meal, which they 'usually wouldn't' at a wedding! We have a young baby and so had all of our photos taken at the hotel, which we were nervous about. However the grounds of the hotel and the hotel itself are so beautiful that we need not have worried, the pictures are so stunning with the Newpark as the backdrop! Myself, my husband and and our families were treated like royalty for the whole wedding day and in the lead-up to it. Thanks so much to the Newpark for helping to make our dream come true, we had the best wedding day we ever could've wished for! If you are stuck between hotels, definitely book the Newpark, you won't regret it!

We chose Newpark Hotel from the minute we went in to book our wedding. From start to finish, the staff were unbelievably helpful and made us feel so relaxed. They were easy to deal with. Our plans went so smoothly that even coming up to the last few weeks, I was asking myself, Are we forgetting something here? But as I contacted Newpark, I realised everything was in order. We got married in their beautiful room, and again staff were just amazing and so helpful. Our wedding ceremony was fantastic. A beautiful lobby area to the front was set up with lots of finger food, tea, coffee and of course, prosecco. The sun was shining, and our guests enjoyed the amazing gardens, and we got beautiful pictures in the garden. Our dinner was lovely. As one guest said to me after the wedding, there wasn't a bit of food left on anyone's plates, so that was a good sign, as our food was delicious. We had no complaints on our wedding day held in Newpark - only that it went by way too fast. We definitely would do it all over again in Newpark with their wonderful team. We could write an essay on how perfect the Newpark Hotel was for our wedding. Everything from the planning stages to the end was made stress-free. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful, from Mary and Aga to the lads at the bar late at night, all were amazing. The Newpark does the big things well as you would expect but it was all the little touches that they do, that you don't expect or even think about, that really shows how much they care to make it a perfect day. The wedding room look great. The food was fantastic, definitely the best food we've ever had at a wedding . The Terrace for day 2 and the BBQ were also fantastic, as was the one man band. We can't praise the hotel and staff enough. They really did help to make our special day even more special. Anyone thinking of getting married should be looking at Newpark as there no.1 option.
