If you are considering the Newpark Hotel for your wedding venue, don't think about it too long. Just book it!!!! Honestly, nothing was too much. A big shout out & thanks to our wedding coordinator Sinead, she went above & beyond. She is very easy to chat with and work with. Anything we needed, it was taken care of immediately. Another big thanks to one of the staff, young chap called Cian, he was very helpful to us both, I wish I had the names of all the other staff to thank them, all staff and management were so accommodating!! The food was so nice!! Tasty, lovely & hot. The rooms were immaculate! Clean and so comfortable. Our wedding was perfect - We are so grateful to the Newpark Hotel.

Where to start? We knew when booking the Newpark Hotel that we would have an amazing day, we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much to ask for. The staff were exceptionally busy throughout the whole day and still had a smile on their faces and were full of humour which was a lovely addition to our day. They are a credit to the hotel. The food was just so tasty, all our guests were full of compliments. Aga, who made sure the day ran smoothly, was such a lady and a delight to deal with. She went above and beyond to create a perfect day for us, she succeeded! Sinéad, the hotel's wedding manager, was just brilliant. Any worries leading up to our big day were quickly erased. Again this lady went to all lengths to give us an amazing day, and was always on the ball with what needed to be done. Always so lovely to deal with. The gentleman who owns the Newpark, John Flynn, approached us on a number of occasions to congratulate us and to make sure we were happy with everything. Such a lovely man. From the warm welcome to the personalised champagne glasses and the kind, hard working staff, we would highly recommend the Newpark as a wedding venue. We would like to thank everyone who played a part in making our big day so special. This is an amazing family hotel with exceptional staff. AMAZING! We can never thank every single person at Newpark Hotel Kilkenny enough for all they did before and most of all during our day. Their attention to detail in the planning made the day run so smoothly and effortlessly and every single staff member made everybody feel so special! We celebrated our wedding in the Newpark Hotel in May 2023. Sinead, Aga and all of the team in the Newpark Hotel ensured our wedding day was perfect from start to finish. Everything was so well organised and ran smoothly that we didn't need to worry about a thing. The meal was exceptional and our guests are still talking about it. We had our wedding in the Newpark on the 23rd February this year and it was amazing. Sinead Fortune, the Newpark wedding coordinator went above and beyond in the planning of our big day, advised us well and had even the little details down to a tee. The hotel staff are a credit to the Newpark Hotel, they are soo friendly, attentive and helpful, they made us feel soo special along with all of our guests who commented on this after the wedding. The food was absolutely delicious for both day 1 and day 2 and a special mention must go to Head Chef Nicky who really went out of his way to cater for the few guests who have food allergies. We would highly recommend the Newpark Hotel Kilkenny to any couples currently planning their wedding and also to anyone just fancying a few days away in lovely hotel with great food and friendly faces to welcome you. We celebrated our wedding in the Newpark Hotel in February 2023 and would highly recommend this hotel to couples looking for an exceptional wedding venue. Sinéad, the wedding coordinator is so professional and approachable and nothing is a problem to her. The hotel think of everything so there is very little onus on the couple to ensure everything has been thought of. We got the opportunity to drop stuff off at the hotel the week of the wedding and everything ended up exactly where it was supposed to be on the day, from gin cart signs right down to luggage. The hotel staff could not have been any more helpful on the day of the wedding and the timing of the drinks reception, bell ringing and dinner service were timed with absolute precision. The staff have warm personalities and add fun to the wedding celebrations. The meal itself was absolutely delicious and our guests are still talking about it 3 weeks later, in particular the mushroom soup! The bar staff were great fun and many people got to know them personally over the weekend. The children in our party got to avail of Jurassic Newpark which made their weekend. We had our night 2 celebrations in the Terrace Bar which was ideal for what we wanted and the service and attention to detail was excellent yet again. We had an absolute ball and I am so glad we chose the Newpark Hotel as our wedding venue.

Sinead, Aga and all of the team in the Newpark Hotel worked so hard to make our wedding day perfect from start to finish. The high level of professionalism and organisation was greatly appreciated by all and everything went so smoothly. Guests were particularly impressed with the delicious meal on the day. Where to start even I don't think it's possible to put into words how perfect our day was, I mean the hotel itself is a dream location for a wedding then decorated for Christmas meant it was more dreamy I was in my element. But the icing on the cake was the staff from our ceremony to which took place in the hotel until the final call for drinks in the residents bar everything was looked after so thoroughly by every staff member that was a part of our day. A special mention to two in particular, Sinead the amazing wedding coordinator, you will not find better she is as cool as a breeze nothing is too much trouble for her and she would put you at ease from the moment you walk through the doors to book your special day until you walk through to doors for your big day. She is there every step of the way and I'd never be able to thank her enough for how attentive and friendly she was in the 2 years I spent planning my day. Aga is the other wonderful lady, we had the pleasure of Aga looking after us on the day and look after us she did with such care and attentiveness nothing was too much trouble she was a good laugh and felt more like a friend who was going to make sure nothing was out of place on the day. Two absolute Earth angels we were blessed to have them take care of our special day. Everyone applauded how amazing everything was food, decor, wine but the staff was mentioned so much in the praise as they are all a credit to the hotel. My one and only problem is that it's all over I'd live the day on repeat if I could, I wouldn't change a minute of it and it's all down to our amazing choice of venue for our big day, you will not be disappointed with your big day at the Newpark Hotel. We got engaged in Feb and decided to get married in the same year. Newpark were our first option and Sinead was so helpful. There was no pressure at the beginning, she gave us all the options and time to think about it before we finally agreed on the date. Once we did everything was just so easy. Sinead went above and beyond for us. We have 2 kids and Sinead suggested adjoining rooms so we knew they were well looked after and the kids area upstairs is amazing. On the day we wanted a little play area in the ballroom and this was done and there was no issue. It kept the kids busy during the meal and we knew they were safe. The staff on the day catered for the kids great and getting milk for the baby's bottle was never an issue. Even the lead up to the wedding Sinead was there for any little question that we had no matter how silly it was. The staff on the day were amazing and everything ran so smoothly. The hotel left a nice little surprise in the bridal suite which was also nice. It's just all those small things make such a difference and the fuss about us as bride and groom on the day along with our kids was so special that we will never experience again. They really make your day your day. I can't recommend Newpark enough.

We recently had our wedding in the Newpark Hotel and can't recommend it highly enough. The whole team were amazing, always smiling and always so helpful. They were so attentive to each guest and always went above and beyond. Sinead our wedding coordinator was fantastic from start to finish and made the lead up to the day so lovely and stress free. From the first time we met Sinead and every check in between, we were reassured that we had made the best choice in venue. The other staff with us on the day were absolutely amazing too, their attention to detail was excellent and they kept everything going seamlessly! They were so friendly and guided us throughout the entire day. We were blown away by the service at our meal and everyone commented on how good the food was. Nothing was ever too big of an ask, even on our second night while they had another wedding to manage. You wouldn't even know they had 3 weekends in a row that week, we still felt like the only wedding couple there. They continued to go above and beyond for us throughout our entire stay (3 nights in total). Our hotel room was also fab and we loved all the little special touches Newpark added on the day that we weren't expecting. We had some young nieces and nephews at our wedding and the staff were so accommodating and lovely with them too. If you are looking for a fun, relaxed, warm wedding venue with fantastic staff and food, Newpark offers it all and more!

We had the most wonderful experience with Newpark Hotel in the lead up to our wedding. From start to finish they could not have been any more helpful, accommodating, supportive and guided us every step of the way. I would not hesitate to recommend having your wedding at Newpark, from meeting Sinéad the first day we were put at ease and everything was planned perfectly by the team for our big day. The service is fantastic and the day went so smoothly. The grounds of Newpark are also beautiful to capture family photos. The team in the Newpark were absolutely incredible from the moment we stepped inside the doors to arrange our wedding. We had no discussion when it came to deciding where to have our wedding, it was a given it would be The Newpark Hotel. From the moment we made contact with Sinéad, the Weddings Manager, everything was just seamless. Sinéad & also Siobhan could not do enough for us, every request we made leading up to the wedding was carried out with such ease. Their attention to detail on the day was absolutely top class, from the layout of the room, to the fabulous wedding decor dotted around the room, to the all round exceptional kindness by each staff member, it was unbelievable. The service from all of the staff on the day was astounding, they ensured we & our guests had such a fabulous meal. The kitchen staff can be very proud of the fabulous meal they served up to our guests. They couldn’t of been more efficient with the service of our meal & this ensured that our band could set up early & get the dance floor going! The entire staff of the Newpark went above & beyond to make this day so special for us & we are so thankful to all of the staff of The Newpark Hotel. Our expectations of the hotel were so high having attended many weddings here over the years but these expectations were exceeded & we are so grateful to the staff for ensuring we had such a memorable day. We had the most fantastic wedding day at the Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny. Everything was perfect from start to finish, the staff went above and beyond for us and for our guests. From the moment we booked our date with the hotel our every need was catered to! The weddings manager Sinéad was so helpful throughout the whole process. The venue is absolutely stunning and the food was superb. The Newpark will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we can't thank them enough!

Our big day was held in the Newpark Hotel and we had the most perfect day. We had the ceremony there too, which I would highly recommend- the room was stunning. The food was beautiful, the service was seamless. The team cannot do enough for you and your guests. From start to finish we could not have asked for more from the Newpark Hotel. They went above and beyond to create a memorable day for us. Sinead the Wedding Manger was such a pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much hassle. The staff throughout the hotel are a credit to the hotel, not only are they friendly but very attentive too. Aga and Dimitri who looked after us along with Sinead on the day could not do anymore for us. All of our guests were blown away, by the room set up and the quality of food on the day. The Newpark Hotel is truly the best wedding venue. We cannot thank Sinéad Fortune enough for all she done for us to make our special day happen on 25th August 2022. She was so patient and understanding with us from day one especially after having to postpone. Anything we requested was always accommodated, nothing was an issue at all in terms of requests we had and even let our 2 doggies be a part of our day! We had the entire ceremony and photographs all done at the hotel, and it was so nice and relaxed and plenty of lovely areas and backdrops on the grounds that made for gorgeous photographs! The food for the canapés and the meal was outstanding. The Hotel also provided the one-man band for our drinks reception and our guests commented on how lovely his singing was and played good songs which made for a great atmosphere. As well as Sinéad, Aga and Dimitri also made excellent effort to ensure all ran smoothly on our day and all of the waiting staff and bar staff too. Every single member of staff looked after us so well on our special day and the day after and are so friendly. We will always be grateful to The Newpark Hotel for making our wedding day one of the best memories of our lives. The Newpark Hotel was our first choice when it came to our wedding reception. We were absolutely thrilled to have secured a date with them, as we loved the hotel and had really positive experiences at other weddings in the venue over the years. Sinead Fortune and her team were a pleasure to work with - super approachable and extremely professional. Sinead and the team at the Newpark Hotel know exactly how to organise a wedding reception, and they literally take every possible bit of stress away. On our wedding day, the team at the Newpark Hotel were fantastic both to us and our guests - nothing was an issue and the service given was to the highest standard at all times. The waiting staff were so attentive to the bridal party and all the wedding guests, and the food served was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Our wedding reception went so smoothly, and I know this was down to the experience of the staff and coordinators at the Newpark Hotel. If I were to do it all over again, I would choose the Newpark hotel without any hesitation! We will continue to return to the Newpark Hotel on a regular basis and for all future family events. I cannot recommend the Newpark Hotel enough.

The Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny was an absolutely amazing wedding reception venue! From the very beginning we found all of the staff at the hotel to be very professional. The wedding coordinator Sinead was absolutely fantastic to deal with and made us feel so relaxed throughout! One of the main things we wanted for our wedding day was a really nice meal for our family and guests and the Newpark did not disappoint! As soon as we had our menu tasting we were blown away by the quality of the meal and the presentation was gorgeous! (My favourite was the champagne sorbet!) any guest that we spoke to after the wedding had only good things to say about the meal. The Hotel has some beautiful spots for pictures too and this was great for us as we didn’t want to waste time on the day away from our guests travelling to another location for photos so it was ideal to be able to get our pictures taken on the grounds. We got married on one of the hottest days of the year and when we arrived to dinner in the ballroom the air conditioning made it so that us and the guests were as comfortable as possible! I can’t recommend the Hotel enough to any other couples planning their big day. The staff made sure we and our guests had the best days possible!

I cannot write enough good things about the Newpark Hotel! From the moment we visited the hotel (virtually because of Covid!), booked our date, I had my family Hen there, attended the Menu tasting, right through to our wedding day, nothing was too much trouble to the Newpark staff! Sinéad was an unbelievable person to plan our wedding reception with. She went above and beyond to create both the package and the day we were hoping for! On our wedding day, Niall, Aga and Sinéad were amazing!! They were so helpful and constantly made sure things were running smoothly. We didn't have to think of one thing!! Gavin was fantastic on guitar at our drinks reception and the staff were brilliant ensuring all of our guests received canapés and refreshments. Our guests were also highly complimentary about the excellent quality of both the food and the service, the friendliness of all of the staff and the lovely rooms! I cannot recommend the Newpark Hotel enough for a wedding. You 100% will not regret having your wedding there!!
