We had our wedding in the Newpark in November and it was the best day, better than we could have imagined, Sinead and the whole team went above and beyond for us, not only on the day but in the lead up. The team took care of everything and made sure the day ran like clockwork. Everyone commented on how fabulous the staff were and how beautifully decorated the hotel was for Christmas! Thanks to Sinead and the team for everything!

We could not recommend the Newpark hotel enough. We had our wedding there on 30th June this year. We are so thrilled with how everything went with the venue. Many of our friends and family have said it’s the best service they have ever experienced at a wedding. The food was fantastic and the staff were excellent. Our guests were thrilled with the quality of their bedrooms - as were we! Sinead was so helpful during the whole wedding planning process and everything felt effortless on the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a wedding or a stay.

We had our wedding here last Saturday. We cannot recommend this hotel enough for a wedding, night away, couples, spa day, or family break. It is THE BEST hotel we have ever stayed in. From the very first day we visited the newpark as a potential wedding venue, we were blown away. the staff have been outstanding each and every time we have set foot inside the hotel. Sinead, who was our main contact in relation to the wedding was always very quick to answer any questions we had and we always felt well taken care of. Aga was the main woman on the day of our wedding and without her, it would not have gone as smoothly as it did. Dimitri was also amazing, I couldn't believe it when he approached me at 3 am still offering to do anything he could for us, I was amazed. Cian was our main server at the top table he went above and beyond for us, especially when I realised that I had forgotten my speech, he printed it off for me. Stephen was our main link on day 2, he was under pressure as double our original numbers turned up but he pulled it off and kept calm at all times. each and everyone of the servers on the day of the wedding and day two deserves a special mention as they were all outstanding, our guests kept commenting about how professional the staff were and how well-trained they were. My husband and I got married in the Newpark Hotel on the 11th of August 2023. Having worked in the Newpark Hotel for a couple of years I knew what to expect when getting married here, however, the service provided from beginning to end was exceptional. I cannot thank the staff enough for making the process so straightforward. Sinéad, the wedding team, and the hotel management were so understanding when we got the news that a family member was unwell, they were so kind and understanding when we had to think about certain modifications to be made because of this. Aga had a firm handle on everything that went on during the day, it ran so smoothly and she was able to handle any queries that cropped up throughout the afternoon. The honeymoon suite with the jacuzzi, along with a fantastic breakfast in bed the next day topped it all off. We received so many compliments on the food and service. The Newpark Hotel really is the best in the business.

We had our wedding reception in the Newpark Kilkenny on 9/9/2023. From the moment we met Sinead the wedding co ordinator, we knew we had made the best decision. They made us feel so at home from the minute we walked in. The attention to detail was exceptional. Every staff member was always so attentive. On the day, Aga was amazing to us and our guests. She had us laughing from the minute we stepped out of the car. The food was excellent and served in the most timely fashion! All our guests were extremely impressed. We had the best day and nothing was left unturned. The room was so beautiful. We loved every minute of our time here! Thank you so so much for making our day ♥️

Where to start? We knew when booking the Newpark Hotel that we would have an amazing day, we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much to ask for. The staff were exceptionally busy throughout the whole day and still had a smile on their faces and were full of humour which was a lovely addition to our day. They are a credit to the hotel. The food was just so tasty, all our guests were full of compliments. Aga, who made sure the day ran smoothly, was such a lady and a delight to deal with. She went above and beyond to create a perfect day for us, she succeeded! Sinéad, the hotel's wedding manager, was just brilliant. Any worries leading up to our big day were quickly erased. Again this lady went to all lengths to give us an amazing day, and was always on the ball with what needed to be done. Always so lovely to deal with. The gentleman who owns the Newpark, John Flynn, approached us on a number of occasions to congratulate us and to make sure we were happy with everything. Such a lovely man. From the warm welcome to the personalised champagne glasses and the kind, hard working staff, we would highly recommend the Newpark as a wedding venue. We would like to thank everyone who played a part in making our big day so special. This is an amazing family hotel with exceptional staff. AMAZING! We can never thank every single person at Newpark Hotel Kilkenny enough for all they did before and most of all during our day. Their attention to detail in the planning made the day run so smoothly and effortlessly and every single staff member made everybody feel so special! We had our wedding in the Newpark on the 23rd February this year and it was amazing. Sinead Fortune, the Newpark wedding coordinator went above and beyond in the planning of our big day, advised us well and had even the little details down to a tee. The hotel staff are a credit to the Newpark Hotel, they are soo friendly, attentive and helpful, they made us feel soo special along with all of our guests who commented on this after the wedding. The food was absolutely delicious for both day 1 and day 2 and a special mention must go to Head Chef Nicky who really went out of his way to cater for the few guests who have food allergies. We would highly recommend the Newpark Hotel Kilkenny to any couples currently planning their wedding and also to anyone just fancying a few days away in lovely hotel with great food and friendly faces to welcome you. We celebrated our wedding in the Newpark Hotel in February 2023 and would highly recommend this hotel to couples looking for an exceptional wedding venue. Sinéad, the wedding coordinator is so professional and approachable and nothing is a problem to her. The hotel think of everything so there is very little onus on the couple to ensure everything has been thought of. We got the opportunity to drop stuff off at the hotel the week of the wedding and everything ended up exactly where it was supposed to be on the day, from gin cart signs right down to luggage. The hotel staff could not have been any more helpful on the day of the wedding and the timing of the drinks reception, bell ringing and dinner service were timed with absolute precision. The staff have warm personalities and add fun to the wedding celebrations. The meal itself was absolutely delicious and our guests are still talking about it 3 weeks later, in particular the mushroom soup! The bar staff were great fun and many people got to know them personally over the weekend. The children in our party got to avail of Jurassic Newpark which made their weekend. We had our night 2 celebrations in the Terrace Bar which was ideal for what we wanted and the service and attention to detail was excellent yet again. We had an absolute ball and I am so glad we chose the Newpark Hotel as our wedding venue.

The high level of professionalism and organisation was greatly appreciated by all and everything went so smoothly. Guests were particularly impressed with the delicious meal on the day. Where to start even I don't think it's possible to put into words how perfect our day was, I mean the hotel itself is a dream location for a wedding then decorated for Christmas meant it was more dreamy I was in my element. But the icing on the cake was the staff from our ceremony to which took place in the hotel until the final call for drinks in the residents bar everything was looked after so thoroughly by every staff member that was a part of our day. A special mention to two in particular, Sinead the amazing wedding coordinator, you will not find better she is as cool as a breeze nothing is too much trouble for her and she would put you at ease from the moment you walk through the doors to book your special day until you walk through to doors for your big day. She is there every step of the way and I'd never be able to thank her enough for how attentive and friendly she was in the 2 years I spent planning my day. Aga is the other wonderful lady, we had the pleasure of Aga looking after us on the day and look after us she did with such care and attentiveness nothing was too much trouble she was a good laugh and felt more like a friend who was going to make sure nothing was out of place on the day. Two absolute Earth angels we were blessed to have them take care of our special day. Everyone applauded how amazing everything was food, decor, wine but the staff was mentioned so much in the praise as they are all a credit to the hotel. My one and only problem is that it's all over I'd live the day on repeat if I could, I wouldn't change a minute of it and it's all down to our amazing choice of venue for our big day, you will not be disappointed with your big day at the Newpark Hotel. We got engaged in Feb and decided to get married in the same year. Newpark were our first option and Sinead was so helpful. There was no pressure at the beginning, she gave us all the options and time to think about it before we finally agreed on the date. Once we did everything was just so easy. Sinead went above and beyond for us. We have 2 kids and Sinead suggested adjoining rooms so we knew they were well looked after and the kids area upstairs is amazing. On the day we wanted a little play area in the ballroom and this was done and there was no issue. It kept the kids busy during the meal and we knew they were safe. The staff on the day catered for the kids great and getting milk for the baby's bottle was never an issue. Even the lead up to the wedding Sinead was there for any little question that we had no matter how silly it was. The staff on the day were amazing and everything ran so smoothly. The hotel left a nice little surprise in the bridal suite which was also nice. It's just all those small things make such a difference and the fuss about us as bride and groom on the day along with our kids was so special that we will never experience again. They really make your day your day. I can't recommend Newpark enough.

We recently had our wedding in the Newpark Hotel and can't recommend it highly enough. The whole team were amazing, always smiling and always so helpful. They were so attentive to each guest and always went above and beyond. Sinead our wedding coordinator was fantastic from start to finish and made the lead up to the day so lovely and stress free. From the first time we met Sinead and every check in between, we were reassured that we had made the best choice in venue. The other staff with us on the day were absolutely amazing too, their attention to detail was excellent and they kept everything going seamlessly! They were so friendly and guided us throughout the entire day. We were blown away by the service at our meal and everyone commented on how good the food was. Nothing was ever too big of an ask, even on our second night while they had another wedding to manage. You wouldn't even know they had 3 weekends in a row that week, we still felt like the only wedding couple there. They continued to go above and beyond for us throughout our entire stay (3 nights in total). Our hotel room was also fab and we loved all the little special touches Newpark added on the day that we weren't expecting. We had some young nieces and nephews at our wedding and the staff were so accommodating and lovely with them too. If you are looking for a fun, relaxed, warm wedding venue with fantastic staff and food, Newpark offers it all and more!

The team in the Newpark were absolutely incredible from the moment we stepped inside the doors to arrange our wedding. We had no discussion when it came to deciding where to have our wedding, it was a given it would be The Newpark Hotel. From the moment we made contact with Sinéad, the Weddings Manager, everything was just seamless. Sinéad & also Siobhan could not do enough for us, every request we made leading up to the wedding was carried out with such ease. Their attention to detail on the day was absolutely top class, from the layout of the room, to the fabulous wedding decor dotted around the room, to the all round exceptional kindness by each staff member, it was unbelievable. The service from all of the staff on the day was astounding, they ensured we & our guests had such a fabulous meal. The kitchen staff can be very proud of the fabulous meal they served up to our guests. They couldn’t of been more efficient with the service of our meal & this ensured that our band could set up early & get the dance floor going! The entire staff of the Newpark went above & beyond to make this day so special for us & we are so thankful to all of the staff of The Newpark Hotel. The venue is absolutely stunning and the food was superb. The Newpark will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we can't thank them enough!
