With out a doubt the best hotel for a wedding. Silver tassie was always my number 1 choice and from the first meeting with Georgia and John I was sold.. Just dealing with them was so personal nothing was ever a problem or job too big for them. The day itself went like a dream, the meal was first class and yet to this day people have commented on how good it was and the service been first class. I couldnt recommend silver tassie and the staff enough. I wouldn't of changed anything about my wedding there it was just perfect thanks to them.

We had our wedding in the Sliver Tassie at the end of August. Laura and Myself both live in Australia, and had quite a lot of guest travelling for all the over the globe to make our special day. As we were so far away we thought it was going to be really difficult organising our day, However, on the lead up to the wedding, Georgina or John were always only a phone call away and emails were answered so promptly. It made everything so so handy. Georgina & John were amazing to deal with, no matter what we asked for nothing was a problem. We were luck enough that our home town is quite close to the Tassie and we got to use the facilities within the hotel on the lead up to our day. We also where lucky enough that we stayed in the hotel for that full weekend, it was so relaxing and really enjoyable. The staff were super friendly and very professional. All the food on the day was simply amazing. Id like to thank the Staff of the Silver Tassie for making Laura and I day the most amazing day of our lives . Thanks so much!! A absolutely credit to each and everyone who works at the silver tassie.

We cannot thank John & Georgina enough for everything they have done for myself and my husband on our wedding day. They went above and beyond to make our wedding reception the most perfect and memorable day of our lives. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality, we were given the most friendly and professional service and I cannot think of anywhere else that deserves this award more.

The Silver Tassie is the best in the North West without a doubt. My older sister and some of my close friends had their reception here also and we were all delighted we chose it as our wedding venue. Georgina and John are incredible at what they do. Nothing is too much to ask and they make everything so easy. The Silver Tassie have so many things included in their packages that you have to pay extra for in a lot of other venues we viewed. The value you get for you money is amazing and with absolutely no compromise on quality you'd be mad to pick anywhere else. We are going back for an anniversary stay after Christmas and cant wait.

Where do I start? Georgina and John are just fab at their job - super humans!! Waaay back in December 2016 we met with Georgina to view the Silver Tassie as a potential venue - we left that day having booked our special day!! And from that day on nothing was ever a problem to them - constant emails from myself with 101 questions were always answered promptly and they were always on hand to give their advice!! When the big day arrived everything went so smoothly - and even to this day when we meet our guests they compliment how smooth everything went. No long waits between courses and the food as always was absolutely outstanding. Every single guest still talk about how the Silver Tassie is the best wedding venue they've ever been in - and we 100% agree. A massive thank you to both Georgina and John, alongside all the other staff who made our day so amazing and special. Had the best day ever in the silver tassie back in July, our wedding was perfect from start to finish, we can't thank the staff enough, nothing was to much trouble, Georgina and John were amazing the whole day!! I couldn’t believe how amazing things were throughout the day, they are a true credit to the tassie! They both took the stress out of planning the wedding! Siver Tassie...A top class venue for our wedding. John and Georgina were so good nothing was a bother and nothing was to big or small. During the wedding John was on hand and dealt with everything and everyone with ease and professionalism. He made us relaxed and we could enjoy our day knowing that it was in such capable hands. The food was amazing and we couldn't have asked for better from the Silver Tassie. First class!

We had our Wedding in the Silver Tassie Hotel on 5th October. We are grateful for the professionalism of Georgina, the wedding coordinator, who made everything run so smoothly. The staff at the hotel were hard working and friendly. The professionalism of Georgina, John and the entire team can only be described as exemplary. The food was exceptional and 2 months on, our guests are still applauding the quality of the food and the service. The design of the room was fabulous and there was great attention to detail throughout. From the moment we arrived into the Silver Tassie to enquire about wedding packages we fell in love with the venue, no other venue compared! John and Georgina made it a venue that was impossible to resist and one that we knew would help make our wedding day as special as we wanted it to be. The packages on offer are incredible and help making wedding planning so much easier. Georgina kept in contact with me on the lead up to the wedding, she was great for keeping the stress levels low as there was no problem that she didn't have a solution for. Any ideas that we had to make our wedding unique to us Georgina accommodated and helped us to further develop these ideas. Our wedding day was even better than we could have ever imagined, for this reason we can't thank the Silver Tassie enough. The staff appeared to celebrate with us, so pleasant, polite and friendly to all of our guests. The food served was 10/10, the wedding room was decorated so beautifully and myself and my husband were treated like royalty (we couldn't get enough of it). Every aspect of the day exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived in the Silver Tassie on 17th May we had permanent smiles on our faces that only faded when we the time came to check out. Our guests continue to rave about the Silver Tassie and what a fabulous wedding venue it was, two of our guests actually booked it as their wedding venue solely based on the their experience at our wedding. We can't help but feel smug when we're frequently told that our wedding "was one of the best weddings ever". I can't recommend the Silver Tassie enough to couples and believe they deserve every award they are nominated for and achieve. Our wedding day was fantastic. We loved every second of it. We couldn’t have faulted anything. Georgina and John were absolutely brilliant and had everything working like clockwork. They worked so hard so we could have the perfect day, and this was clear to be seen. The food was unbelievable, the service was next to none and the room was picture perfect. We firstly picked the Silver Tassie for it's reputation for amazing weddings! When we first went and met Georgina it was so relaxed and I could just tell my wedding was in great hands. The weeks leading up to the wedding Georgina kept in contact to ensure we were happy and if there was anything we needed. On the 23rd of August we got married and it was the most spectacular day and I couldn't thank Georgina and the team at the Silver Tassie enough!!

From our very first visit to the Silver Tassie we were impressed with the approachability and professionalism of all staff we came into contact with. In the organising and lead up to our big day Georgina & John went over and beyond to make our day everything we ever dreamt off and more! Together they organised the small but meaningful details of our wedding which I had envisioned but did not have the time to do and turned them into reality. Nothing was ever too much bother for them & any questions or moments of panic I had they both were at the end of the phone more than willing to help. On the day we arrived to a beautifully decorated, lively and inviting venue. All the waiting staff were extremely attentive and all tables were served at the same time with the delicious and endless amount of perfectly cooked food. We would like to take this opportunity to send our sincere thanks to the management and staff of the Silver Tassie but particularly Georgina & John for making us and our guests so welcome for the entire weekend and providing us with a day that was perfect from beginning to end. When we got engaged we had no doubt on where to have our wedding. John and Georgina’s reputation on wedding planning had our minds made up before meeting with them to discuss details. From start to finish, nothing was a hassle or too much bother for the Silver Tassie. The food is always fabulous and that’s almost a guarantee for weddings here. The packages are well put together and very inclusive. We wanted something that could be booked and then put to the back of our minds which is exactly what we got. From the details in the decor to the coordinating on the day, everything went flawless. We had our wedding reception in the Silver Tassie Hotel on the 6th of July of this year. Words cannot describe how incredibly thankful we are to all the staff but especially our wedding co-ordinators Georgina and John for making our day the most memorable and enjoyable day. From the moment we booked our wedding reception to the lead up to the big day, Georgina and John were so helpful and nothing was ever too much. They would always check in to see how the planning was coming along and answered any questions we had. When we arrived to the Silver Tassie on our wedding day we were blown away by how beautiful the function room looked. All our guests were raving about the amazing service at dinner and how exceptional the food was. They even came around with second helpings which went down a treat with many. Everything ran like clockwork with no delays. John was even on hand to help with my dress and veil and push in my chair at the top table each time I got up. It's those simple gestures that really make your day even more special. We had the most amazing day but most importantly stress free and that was all down to the dedication and hard work of Georgina and John. I honestly wish we could do it all over again. Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives- we ate, drank & danced without a care in the world, which was all made possible due to the efforts of Georgina & John. In the lead up to the day, there was no job to big or question too small. Both John & Georgina replied to emails at any time of the day or night and made my husband and I feel like ours was the only wedding they were organising! We got married 3 months ago and from the very first moment that we booked the Silver Tassie for our big day, Georgina and John were there to answer any questions or queries we had. We could contact them via email or phone and always got a quick response. The wedding day itself couldn’t have gone better. Everyone had a great day. The table and decorations were set out by the team exactly how we wanted and the place looked gorgeous. The day went by so smoothly without any problems and nothing was too much to ask for example if a guest needed a special dietary requirement it was sorted for them. The Silver Tassie is outstanding - The rooms, the venue, the food and the service is exceptional. Myself and my husband live in England and organised the wedding from there however, not once did we feel under pressure or under any stress from the staff at the Silver Tassie they have such a lovely relaxed manner.
