From the second we walked in the door, we fell in love with everything about it and instantly knew this was where we would be having our wedding reception. They have so much to offer and the treatment we received was second to none. I felt we were the only people ever getting married there, when I know that simply wasn't the case, but I was made feel so important and any questions I had I was always given a reply instantly, nothing was ever a problem. Everyone that attended our wedding couldn't stop praising the food and the service and that was so important for us. I would highly recommend Lough Rea Hotel to anyone getting married. Our day was exactly what we imagined if not better and that is 100% down to the amazing staff at Lough Rea Hotel. We had such an amazing day. Every guest was so vocal about how amazing the day was and how the staff made everyone so comfortable. We had 50 guests and it was so relaxing and enjoyable. The food was amazing, so tasty.

Everything was amazing. We had a theme in mind and Nicole really made it come to life she even added some suggestions to us that made the whole thing even more creative. I am really big into my flowers so I already had a vision in mind way before we ever booked. I said this to Nicole and she contacted the hotel's florist and they matched our colour scheme to perfection. And that was included in our package! The price point was so competitive with other hotels we had viewed they had so much more added extras in every one of the packages not just the more expensive ones. Value for money was so beyond anything we had seen. Our theme was a bit different as my husband (eek!) is really into gaming and I am a little bit more traditional. So we ended up naming our tables after different games to keep him happy and made the table board into all the places we had been together as well. They truly couldn't have done enough for us, from the very beginning.

There aren't enough words to credit this incredible hotel. The minute we sat down with Nicole we were sold. Her personality and attention to detail stood out from the get-go. We knew the hotel was the one for us. The pricing of a midweek package was unbeatable as well as the room rates which were far more reasonable than any other hotel we viewed. We recently had a small wedding party on the rooftop of the Lough Rea Hotel and Spa. We got married in Gort so it was the best choice for us given the short travel time. We never wanted the big Irish wedding so when we saw the rooftop we knew it was perfect. We did a BBQ buffet for our guests and had some pizzas at 11. It was like a perfect mix of casual and wedding. Exactly what we wanted. Thank you to Nicole, Ciara and the bartenders for looking after us so well

An incredible wedding venue with even better staff! I can't believe it's been over a year already. It's a crime to have taken this long to write them a review! We originally met with Jacinta back in 2021 but with covid and restrictions we knew it wasn't the right time for us to be planning so we decided to wait it out. Flash forward to 2023 we met with Nicole, and what a dream she is to work with, it nearly felt like it was meant to be. Over the course of COVID, they brought so much decor into the hotel meaning we really didn't need to bring anything but ourselves, which from talking with my friends is few and far between. We originally planned to have a rooftop wedding, which in October was ambitious we knew. On the day itself, Nicole constantly kept us in the loop with the weather and they had set the ballroom just in case as the weather wasn't promising. It wasn't to be for us but Nicole kept everything so easy breezy. The ceremony room was decorated to perfection and honestly, I was glad we ended up there for a finish. The atmosphere from the ceremony to the reception drinks and throughout the dinner and into the night of dancing was so electric and we never once had to worry about a thing. Truly the greatest gift to any couple on their wedding day. Thank you to Nicole and her team for the most magical day anyone could ever imagine!!

On behalf of myself and my new wife we would like to thank all of the staff at the Lough Rea Hotel and Spa for a simply divine day! You guys are a well oiled machine and it's so clear to see why you are winning awards. We planned our entire wedding from Australia and Nicole couldn't have done more for us both. It can be difficult feeling like you are on the other side of the planet and trying to plan a wedding in the midst of it all seemed like a daunting task but my god she mad the whole thing so simple. Every question, query and silly enquiry (there was plenty i am sure) Nicole was only ever on the other end of an email or the phone. She made us feel so involved even through a computer screen. We didn't make it home until two weeks before the wedding and she fit us in for our tasting straight away so we could experience it for ourselves. Speaking of the food, well there was plenty of it, even for my friends and family who would eat you out of house and home in a matter of minutes. We met Damien the day before our wedding and he really put us at ease too, he and Nicole sat down with us and went through every single detail down to the most minute thing, and as a couple we knew before the day even came it was the best decision we had made. We came across the Lough Rea Hotel completely off another friend of ours recommendation as they had been to quite a few there over the years, but they still say ours was the best!! I may be bias but i would have to agree 100%. If the Lough Rea Hotel isn't on your venue list to view, it definitely should be!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about the Lough Rea Hotel & Spa. Our wedding on January 1st, 2024, was beyond perfect, and the hotel played such a huge part in making it all come together. The venue itself is gorgeous—the ballroom was beautifully decorated, it had such a romantic vibe. Our guests were blown away! The food was a huge highlight too. The staff made sure everything was served on time, and our guests were raving about it. The drinks were great as well. We also had some time to unwind at the spa before the big day, and it was just what we needed to relax and de-stress. The rooms were super comfy, and several of our guests stayed overnight, which worked out perfectly and kept everyone together. Honestly, the whole experience was amazing. The Lough Rea Hotel & Spa made our wedding day so special, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. If you’re thinking about getting married here, you won’t regret it! We just recently stayed at the Lough Rea Hotel and Spa for our 1 year anniversary and it brought nothing but good memories back. I can't believe how quick that year has gone. Nicole even left a very thoughtful gift in our room along with a card of a picture of us on our wedding day! How lovely and thoughtful! What can I even say about this hotel, if you're looking for somewhere where you'll feel like family for a day this is the hotel for you.
