Carnoustie Golf Hotel really put 110% effort into everything on our day. From the very beginning at our initial walk around and discussions on package deals, to keeping everyone in line for the wedding breakfast (especially after a few Proseccos). They did a brilliant job. The care they gave us was out of this world, my wife being pregnant and unwell and in hospital just days before!! They kept her 100% comfortable and they had plans in place if she took unwell again. The food!! Wow the food! Was absolutely incredible absolutely out of this world definitely the best cheesecake I've ever tasted. As I mentioned above my wife was pregnant at this time, however at this time no one else knew ! So Morag helped and advised us on the best way to do a baby reveal ( this is what we wanted to do on the day) and they pulled it off!! Everyone was stunned and so surprised. On the day, I forgot the brooch for groomsman and best man, but Morag managed to source locally for us and free of charge!! She truly saved me that day for this! So to summarise, Morag the wedding co-ordinator took care of us from the moment we set foot in the door to enquire and helped us tailor the wedding to our needs and budget. She took charge of absolutely everything and ensured everything was absolutely perfect. And I tell you now it was. It was absolutely beautiful and amazing. So from the bottom of my heart, Morag thank you and thank you to your team of professionals. You all should be so proud. My message to anyone looking to book a wedding and you’re not sure or you’re stuck. Book here!! You won’t be disappointed.

Had our wedding at Carnoustie Golf Hotel on 7/7/23. From the planning to the big day, everything was perfect! Morag and her team did an amazing job with the utmost professionalism and everything ran so smoothly, nothing was too much trouble. The place looked fantastic on the day, which we received lots of compliments for and we were so glad to have chosen Carnoustie as our wedding venue. We had our wedding on Friday 18th August and it was perfect, we can not thank Morag and the staff enough. From the moment we met Morag the wedding planner, we knew it was the place for us. She made us feel welcome, relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. We had the perfect wedding and it was everything we imagined it would be. We had the most amazing day getting married at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel. Morag from start to finish was a god send and an asset to the hotel, the rest of the staff made sure the whole day ran smoothly, the food was beautiful and plentiful from the formal meal to the evening buffet. Our photographer got some beautiful shots at the hotel, the golf course and at the local beach right on its doorstep. I wouldn’t hesitate booking this hotel for any future events, they were fantastic!

We contacted the hotel at quite short notice as our original venue fell through. Morag could not be more helpful and informative when first contacting hotel. We were amazed that our chosen date was available but we never looked back. The venue is stunning and all our guests have commented on what a beautiful venue it is. Morag meets regularly with you and keeps all things flowing and is supportive with decisions and suggestions. Nothing was too much and I did not have to worry as I knew everything was in hand. My partner was very nervous but again Morag reassured him and advised him which was so much appreciated. We also had our young children and again they were made to feel so welcome and very much part of the day with Morag getting them to help with some jobs which made them feel so special. The day ran like clockwork and it could not have been better, it was all we wished for and more. I just wish we could do it all again. Thank you to all the team, everyone was so friendly and helpful and you really made us feel special. I will be recommending to anyone who is considering a wedding.

Cannot recommend Carnoustie Hotel enough for a wedding venue. We had been let down by original venue and were struggling to find something we loved as much and could trust to run smoothly. From the minute we met Morag, we knew we had found what we were looking for. She was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We were impressed with the package also. We had various meetings/phone calls before the wedding, making sure we had everything in order. On the day, she ensured everything was executed on time and as planned. Morag was also approachable, always available and eager to help. She gave considerable advice and provided recommendations based on her notable experience. We requested slight changes to the package to accommodate our visions and there were never any issues, in fact, Morag went out of her way to help. I am a worrier, but with Morag I felt at ease, our whole day ran so smoothly and was everything we planned it to be. The bridal suite and food were amazing, staff so helpful and cheery. We couldn’t have expected or wanted more and would like to thank all the staff for their amazing service. If you are considering booking your wedding here, do it, you won’t regret it.

We couldn't have picked a better venue and area. Ourselves and most of our guests made a weekend of it, the golf lovers played golf, the 19th holers enjoyed the use of the bar area within the hotel and the Carnoustie and the Caledonia Golf Clubs which might I add the staff and club members made everyone feel very welcome. Some of our guests ate out, on the Friday night. The local Thai was a particular favourite and because it was a lovely evening, some took an evening stroll. Myself ,friends and family made use of the spa area. On the morning of the wedding, room service brought pre ordered breakfast to the bridal suite. Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much bother and the breakfast was amazing. Staff allocated my maid of honour the room next door to the bridal suite as there were 10 ladies having hair and make up done. We were able to set up in there. Thank you domestics, great job getting rooms sorted and back to being spotless!!! While the ladies were being pampered, the men made use of the spa prior to enjoying their breakfast. Morag kept everyone well informed with timings and explained the role of the page boy and flower girl to the children which was reassuring to them. It made sense to us to use local business to provide flowers, and the cake, and Morag can advise. We were fortunate to have a sunny day, meaning we got some lovely photos on the beach, which is a stone throw away, and our guests were able to sit on the large patio area enjoying the sun and a beverage. What made us happy was that our guests were happy. Everyone said Carnoustie was a great venue for a wedding, with great food, served by helpful friendly staff and nothing was a bother. So many of our guests made reference to how well organised the staff were at serving out the wedding meal, it went like clockwork. The room and tables looked great. We also stayed on the Sunday, just to chill and relax with guests, which was lovely because some had travelled from far and wide.

Our wedding day at Carnoustie Golf Hotel really was a dream come true. Morag and her team are outstanding at what they do and no question was left unanswered. Professional and friendly staff were a huge part of our day and everything went so smoothly. The food was delicious and hotel rooms were stunning! Morag was extremely helpful and no change or added extra was too much trouble. The venue looked stunning and we couldn’t have been happier. We got married at The Carnoustie Golf Hotel in October and just wanted to let everyone know how glad we are that we booked there. We had the most amazing day and wouldn’t change a thing. We feel extremely fortunate to have had our wedding at Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa. From the moment we met Morag and had a tour of the grounds, we knew that it was the place we wanted to get married. Morag made us feel at ease straight away with her friendly and calm manner, we just knew she was the right wedding coordinator for us. Morag was always available and so approachable in the run up to the big day. Every meeting we had made us trust her even more, and she was very accepting of all the different ideas we brought forward to her. Many of our guests on the day stated to us that she was very attentive and made sure everyone was happy and having a great day. We cannot thank her enough for everything she done for us from the run up to the actual day itself. We are forever grateful for her kindness and support. We must also thank all the staff that were involved with our day. The reception staff, the bar staff, the waiting staff and the kitchen staff. Everything was perfect. All of them worked exceptionally hard and their efforts were not unnoticed. They were friendly, polite and professional and we are very thankful for their hard work. Your mini wedding package worked out perfectly for us. We had a beautiful day and your staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The bridal suite was amazing, even though I lost my new hubby for a short time while he sat on the balcony watching everyone tee off! From day one the service and friendliness of the wedding team and hotel staff was just incredible. Every detail was covered and Morag always took the time to arrange a meeting and go over everything to make our day as we wanted it. Wow! From start to finish the day was absolutely perfect!! Morag was an amazing wedding coordinator, she was available whenever I needed her and a wonderful support to myself, my family and my husband on the big day (and the weeks previous). I cannot thank the staff enough for their hard work over the weekend of the wedding as we had lots of family staying in the hotel too, who enjoyed every minute….. especially the comfy beds and incredible breakfasts!! Everything ran very smoothly on the day and the drink and food was perfect. If you are considering having a wedding in Carnoustie I would 100% recommend The Carnoustie Golf Hotel as your first choice, with Morag and her team by your side you are guaranteed to have the most memorable, perfect wedding ! Wow wow wow! To say we had the day of our lives would be an understatement, it was amazing! From first booking Morag was absolutely amazing, nothing was too much and her knowledge and advice regarding weddings was second to none. The staff could not have been more attentive and served all our guests and their requests with nothing but a smile. What a credit to the hotel. Everybody complimented us on the amazing venue and how much they felt looked after. The food was incredible, from canapés, to the main wedding meal and the evening Buffet it was all perfect and the hotel was fantastic at catering for some of our guests allergies and requests! Not to mention a fussy bride The setting around the golf course and beach is perfect for photos and having had a preview of some of mine I can confirm they look amazing. The team are outstanding and I cannot praise them highly enough. I highly recommend to anyone looking to get married here, you will be well looked after!

Good Morning, I would thank Carnoustie Golf hotel for a wonderful experience on our wedding day and on the run up to our day. We had to push our wedding back one year. Morag was very helpful, no issues about moving the back date. On the run up to our day I was very nervous as I'd never planned a wedding before, but with a lot of communication with Morag she was very helpful and talked me through everything I needed to know and do. Thank you to all Carnoustie team for an outstanding performance on our wedding day, we couldn't of hoped for it to go better. We honesty can't prise them enough for making our day go so smoothly and for their help in making every one of our guest have the best day! The food was absolutely magnificent and myself and Ryan along with all our guest were more than happy with their choices, not one complaint. Both Morag, who oversaw our wedding, and the rest of the staff at the hotel couldn’t have done anymore for us during our wedding or our stay at the hotel over the few days surrounding this. The wedding set up and running of the day was absolutely seamlessly organised and looked amazing, we truly couldn’t have wished for better! We had so many compliments from guests on the service, amenities and food at the hotel. It really was testament to the hard work put in by all staff. Both ourselves, and our families had an absolutely brilliant day and couldn’t have asked for anymore.

Gordon and I wanted to thank Carnoustie Golf Hotel and Spa for everything they have done for us over the last 14 months.. But particularly on Friday! Our day was absolutely perfect thanks to their planning and organising, all while being so calm and attentive. Our guests were also commenting on how amazing all the staff were, right up until we left just after 1am!!! Our meal was perfect and I am still shocked at how smooth the whole day went. We had a wonderful weekend at Carnoustie Golf Hotel and Spa for our wedding. Morag was so calm and had everything organised. Nothing was too much trouble. The team there are brilliant. Our guests were so impressed with the service, and the food was just amazing! The hotel is gorgeous. We were able to take our little girl for a swim in the morning after, and this was just the icing on the cake. The facilities are just fantastic. We were one of the unlucky couples who had to postpone from 2020, but the process was straightforward. Morag and the team swapped everything over, and we had nothing to worry about. We really can’t recommend this hotel enough!! We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding Thank you so much all at Carnoustie xx

Gina and I had a wonderful day thanks to the professionalism and friendly service we received throughout from Morag and her team at Carnoustie Golf Hotel. Everything was so well organised, and we had several meetings and e-mails with Morag before the wedding to make sure everything was going to be as we expected. Morag was a great master of ceremonies, and we have had nothing but nice comments back from friends and relatives on what a great day they all had. The meal was top quality, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I would recommend the hotel to anybody who wants to have a great day. Getting married at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel was definitely the right choice. From the beautiful venue to the beautiful staff and Morag, our wedding coordinator, we're all so easy and helpful to work with. We had so many changes in the lead up to the wedding, including the date, guest list and many more. However, we managed to compromise that suited both me and the bride and Morag herself. I would highly recommend getting married here regardless of whether you're looking for a traditional or unique wedding. Five stars for sure!
