We got married on Friday 30th August 2013 at the hotel. What an amazing day!! We still can't stop talking about it!! From start to finish the team at Derwent Manor could not do enough for us. The venue is rustic and in the perfect setting with lots of opportunities for amazing photos! We chose the fields around the hotel and got some beautiful photos which we will look back on for the rest of our lives! The bridal suite is beautiful and the perfect place to get ready with your bridesmaids on the morning of the wedding. We chose the Garden Room for our ceremony and afternoon reception and the Allensford Suite for our evening reception. Both amazing rooms with lots of character! The hotel were great in accommodating our special requests such as a BBQ instead of a traditional 3-course meal, buckets of lager and cider on the tables instead of wine and allowing an ice cream van to come and surprise our guests on the afternoon! The food was lovely, good portions, could not fault it! The service from our wedding coordinator Helen in the planning of our special day and our toastmaster Sianne on the day was excellent! We were made to feel very special and couldn't have done it without them. Little touches such as being allowed to come and set up our own rooms with our wedding decorations, allowing us to tailor the layout of our evening room and offering us a private breakfast room so we could have a buffet breakfast with our guests the morning after the wedding all added to making this the best day of our lives. We cannot recommend the hotel and staff highly enough, thank you for making our wedding day one we will never forget!! Joanne & Alan xxx
