I held my whole wedding at the moat house hotel on the 11th August 2019 Everything ran smoothly all staff members were really helpful and were happy to help with anything at all. We had so many compliments on the evening buffet on how nice it was and there was plenty for everyone! The room was set up just as requested which looked lovely everything ran on time. We had canopies and drinks served after the ceremony which I highly recommend especially for those who don’t want a sit down meal afterwards. It was a lovely day made stress free by the members of staff at the hotel. Thank you Natalie kempson

The place was amazing and the rooms were lovely and clean. The staff in particular a lady name Sammy were absolutely amazing and a bar staff name Katie was fab to..they couldn't do enough for us. We had the best day and the venue was wonderful. I found Paige really helpful in sorting things for me so thank you and Steph was wondeful too!

We had the most amazing day from start to finish. We were looked after from the moment we booked the venue. Paige our wedding coordinator was fabulous and nothing was ever to much trouble even though I most of sent 10 million emails a day. We had Nina look after us on the day and she was amazing. She was constantly making sure we were okay and everything was running smoothly. We want to thank everyone who was part of the day. All the staff were amazing. You honestly made our day so special. We booked the hotel for 2 nights for our wedding. We couldn't have chosen anywhere better. The entire stay was absolutely amazing. We were taken care of from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. We booked at last minute and managed to get the JW suite which was just the right size for our needs. We had wedding breakfast and then an evening buffet for our guests, and the entire food was beautiful. We booked the family room for the 6 of us and were not disappointed as the room was very large. We also booked a separate double to use for the lads to get ready in and it was equally as nice and spacious. The early morning breakfast buffet was great and the kids enjoyed making their own pancakes on the pancake machine. The bar staff, waiters/waitresses and reception staff where all very helpful and nice. The entire weekend we extremely quick and I just wish it had lasted longer. Easily an 11 out of 10. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We would like to say thank you to Stephanie and her staff for helping us to celebrate our wedding. Everything went to plan without any issues. The rooms were great, the food was brilliant and so were the staff. We have had lots of feedback from our guests about how good the quality of the meals were. We would highly recommend this venue, we had 110 for our wedding breakfast and every meal was delivered hot and the buffet in the evening for 400 was excellent.

We had an amazing day! The help from the staff was brilliant! The ceremony room was beautiful And set the scene for a romantic ceremony. The gardens out side were closed off for us to take photos which was lovely and we have lovely photos too. We were allowed to come in the day before and decorate the reception room as we desired it and anything we needed the moat house did everything they could to accommodate us. It’s a affordable price and they did us a specially vegan menu which we really enjoyed.

We had our wedding here very last minute with only 13 weeks to plan and both Steph and Sophie were absolutely fantastic! They checked in with us regularly and made sure we were happy with everything, as well as offering help at any given opportunity. The day went so smoothly and was everything that we could have hoped for. I can’t thank the girls enough for everything they did. The food provided was also fantastic and all the guests were really impressed. Anytime we had a query or assistance, the response was quick and professional and I just can’t fault the service. Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and made our day special. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding day.

We had our wedding reception on the 27th January 2018, everything was exceptional. The wedding breakfast and buffet at evening was amazing and the amount of guests we had that commented on the food was out of this world. The staff on the day were fantastic so helpful and made everything perfect, jess Gallimore was amazing we would not of got this organised with out her, we cannot thank her enough for everything she has done before during and after the wedding, her hospitality was outstanding!! Would highly recommend this. Xxx

We had our wedding here on 16th September, and what can we say!! Jess, James and the rest of the team are better than excellent. Both leading up to, and on the day, they went above and beyond to ensure everything ran like clockwork. The day was everything we wished for and more, and we genuinely feel they played an intricate part in making it so. My Maid of Honour and I stayed at The Moat House the night before the wedding and quite a lot of our wedding party stayed the evening of the wedding. We all felt that the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food both at the wedding and at the breakfast buffet was second to none. Nothing we asked for, leading up to and on the wedding day, was too much trouble.

We held our Wedding reception at Stoke on Trent Moat House on 8 July 2016. I cannot praise Stephanie and the team enough, right from the very first they have bent over backwards to accommodate exactly what we wanted. The accommodation for myself and some of our guests was excellent, the Bentley room looked just amazing when we walked in and I cannot fault the food or the service. I would have no hesitation is recommending the Moat House to anyone looking for a venue

Fantastic venue so glad I picked here to have my wedding day everyone was so helpful from start to finish, from Steph with the arrangements of the day right up to our last dance nothing was too much trouble for them can't thank everyone enough for making our day so so special would totally recommend to anyone considering getting married here xxx

We had our wedding here on 5th September 2015 in the JW Suite, we had the deal 'get married in 2015 for £2015'. We did add extra's on in the daytime and evening however it was still so much cheaper than various different venues we looked at and such good value for money. The weather was kind to us so we were able to get some nice pictures in the garden. Steph was brilliant throughout the process! On arrival me and my husband were greeted with a glass of champagne by Steph and another lady (sorry cant remember her name). Steph then introduced us to her and advised she would be our point of contact for the day, which we really liked. She was brilliant, along with all the other daytime staff who were all so attentive throughout our day and wedding breakfast, we even had our room card bought to us when the room was ready rather than us having to check in. We then went into the bar downstairs whilst they got the room ready for the evening. We then had the handover to the next point of contact which again we liked. I was able to check the room before all out guests entered and then we partied the night away. Again all the night staff were great and even bought the timings of our evening buffet a little earlier so that our photographer could be there for our 1st dance. Everyone commented on how good the food was in the daytime and evening. I would definitely recommend for a wedding, its a reasonable price and a great service!! The only thing we could say was the lights as you 1st go into the JW Suite were a little bright and a few of our guests felt a little blinded by them. When we mentioned this we were told they were emergency lighting and couldn't be turned off. However we didn't let this spoil our and night and it was a brilliant day with a brilliant service. Thank you to all the team that made it so special.

We got married here on 01.08.2015. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The whole day ran seamlessly and staff were always on hand to help. Anything that we asked was never too much. It was excellent value for money with an excellent service. A massive than you to all the Moathouse staff for making our wedding day one to remember. Mr & Mrs Parkes

Just held our wedding breakfast and evening at this venue, we received a fantastic service from start to finish. Nothing too much trouble and the staff sorted everything making for a perfect day. I'd like to say what a great venue this is for weddings, everything about our day was perfect, the staff made sure that everything we had arranged, planned and requested was all in place with no hesitation at all. The food was excellent from the wedding breakfast to the evening buffet we had no complaints whatsoever. Highly recomend this venue if I could do it again tomorrow I'd change nothing at all. Thankyou to all staff that were involved.
