From the moment we came for our first viewing of the venue we were looked after so well by all the staff at Mount Pleasant. The booking process was very easy. Emails were answered in great time, nothing was too much trouble. Paige was excellent in helping us organise everything and Ross looked after us on the day and was equally as fantastic. A mention to Beth as well who helped us in the morning with our music for the ceremony and afterward. The actual wedding day went very smoothly, the food was excellent, everyone said how nice it was and the DJ (Kev) ensured we had a fabulous party and was extremely obliging with requests!! The venue itself is beautiful and very charming, it was a pleasure to be able to spend 2 days there and fully experience the hotel. It was perfect. I just wish we could re-live it all again, we wouldn't change a thing. Thank you everyone for helping us to create Our Greatest Day.

From the very first visit to this hotel to discuss our wedding plans we were filled with confidence. The wedding team staff here are exceptional. We were kept advised every step and if we had questions we always got a very quick response. When the wedding day finally arrived we knew everything would be perfect and it was. The whole day was incredible, the staff were on hand for anything throughout the day and everything just ran like clockwork. It was wonderful having someone from the wedding team there all day, by your side to guide us through the day. Our guests were stunned at the beauty of their rooms. All the staff, the wedding team, the reception, restaurant and bar staff made our wedding day truly magical. If we could do it all again this weekend we'd jump at the chance. We are happy to share our experience at Mount Pleasant Hotel, where we celebrated our wedding on July 7, 2023. From the moment we set foot in the Mount Pleasant Hotel, we were amazed by the sheer natural beauty that surrounded us. The secret garden area provided a beautiful backdrop for our special day. Our outdoor ceremony was perfect, the setting was beautiful and we was also blessed with lovely weather. The reception that followed was an absolute delight. The staff at Mount Pleasant Hotel were the definition of professionalism and hospitality. They made sure every detail was meticulously taken care of, from the delicious food to the perfectly timed service. Our guests were never left wanting, and we couldn't have asked for more. The decor in the reception hall was exquisite and truly reflected our vision for the day. It was evident that the team at Mount Pleasant Hotel worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was perfect. What truly stood out was the incredible service. The staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and at ease. Their warm and friendly approach added a personal touch to the entire event and helped create a warm and inviting atmosphere. As the night went on and more guests arrived for our reception ,the evening celebration was very well organised from the DJ and the lighting and sound system was outstanding. The fireworks in the evening provided a great show – and photo opportunity! Our wedding day at Mount Pleasant Hotel was everything we ever dreamed of and more. We had such an amazing day, it was honestly just the best! Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff, both in the lead-up to the wedding and on the actual day. You made us feel at ease and allowed us to simply just enjoy our day with friends and family. Special thanks to Debbie and Ros, their help, communication and attention to detail were so appreciated. The whole experience of our wedding at Mount Pleasant Hotel was handled with care, consideration and creativity. The ceremony room, Thomas Stocks was bright, tastefully decorated and clean with the option of an outdoor ceremony weather permitting. The choices of packages was very varied and we found one that suited us perfectly. The food was of quality and served by caring staff . The honeymoon suite was fantastic. The fact that our guests could book online and that the rooms were discounted was of great help. The most satisfying aspect was the care and attention the weddings team gave us, Georgina, Paige and Luke were attentive and caring with nothing being too much trouble. It was a fabulous experience and having looked at several venues, we definitely made the right choice. I would recommend Mount Pleasant to anyone looking to have a quality event with a fabulous team that really do go the extra mile to look after you. Well done all, you gave us a day we will never forget.

Well I don’t know where to start, what an amazing, caring thoughtful team. From us booking our wedding right through to the evening of the wedding, Mount Pleasant wedding team could not have done enough. Nothing was ever too much trouble, they made everything we wanted possible and I can’t recommend this venue enough. The food was absolutely beautiful, amazing feedback from our guests and the DJ could not have been any better, he played something for everybody. A big thank you to Paige who made our final detail meeting a breeze, and was always on the other end of the phone when I needed her, Mark who made me feel at ease as soon as I walked into Mount Pleasant the night before I got married and was there the morning of the wedding to have a walk with me around the venue and try to help me with my nerves. Ross, well where do I start you are an absolute credit to the wedding team many of my guests have commented about you aswell. You made everything run smoothly, was there when we needed anything, and you went above and beyond anything we expected. Our wedding day at Mount Pleasant was absolutely amazing from start to finish! We stayed over the night before which made getting ready in the morning in the bridal suite even more special. We got married outside which was perfect, the outside area looked amazing in the sunshine. The food was soooo good and so many guests commented on how nice it was. Mark made the day run smoothly and was lovely! I wouldn’t change anything at all about the day and I would highly recommend Mount Pleasant to anyone getting married in the future. Just perfect!

Everything was perfect from start to finish, every little detail we asked we got. The staff went above and beyond, nothing was too much. We also came back for our wedding anniversary this year and everyone was so nice, treated us like it was our wedding day all over. Mount Pleasant now has a special place in our heart and will always return to reminisce our special day.

My husband and I got married on the 5th August 2023 at this gorgeous venue! From booking this venue two years ago, it was everything we imagined and more! From communication leading up to the special day, Paige was amazing at keeping us up to date and relaxed leading up to the day. Ross and Mark were our wedding coordinators on the day of our wedding…. WOW!! They were amazing! Nothing was ever too much and every bit of attention to detail was taken care off! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful and amazing the venue was! We both cannot thank you all enough for what you did for us two weeks ago and leading up to our big day. All staff made us feel welcome. We cannot thank Ross enough for what he did for both of us on the day of the wedding. He kept checking in with me throughout the morning, making sure I was ok and my bridal party were too. He also made sure Daniel was ok when he arrived with his best man. I would also like to thank Mark for everything he did the night before when I arrived with my bridal party. He made sure that I was ok with everything and checked I had everything needed for the day. I would also like to thank Paige for the meetings we had and also responding to all my questions and emails, also sorting out rooms for myself and bridal party to stop in the night before. From booking our wedding to 2 years later on the actual special day, nothing was too much to ask for from all the wedding team, starting with Andrew who has now left and onto Paige who dealt with all the constant changes to the day and we have to give a special shout out to Mark and Ross. These guys were awesome on the day, doing anything they could to beat the horrid rain to make sure our wedding was outside where we wanted it to be, the highlight being the guys being outside mopping up puddles to dry up the path with 15 mins to go before the wedding. I couldn’t thank them enough for making that happen. The hotel is clean and the rooms are massive and to die for, the venue looked amazing for pictures with so many areas to have your photographs for those intermit moments on your own. The food was amazing, we upgraded to a BBQ and never ran out of food. We stayed at the hotel the night before and they even went out of their way to make sure our rooms were ready for the wedding day to change over to before the ceremony. They even went out of the way to customise some of the meals off menu to suit some of our guests which I was very surprised with. Overall thank you everyone at Mount Pleasant Hotel for giving us a day we will never forget.

We got married on 15th July 2023, thinking that we would be guaranteed sunny weather so that our ceremony could be held outside in the secret garden (the main reason we booked the venue). Unfortunately, this was not the case but in no way, shape or form did this take away from having the most perfect indoor ceremony at Mount Pleasant. Our master of ceremonies Ross was an absolute god send and made our day run perfectly from start to finish, he even kept me calm when our ceremony music started to play and the rain decided to fall, leaving me to make a last minute dash inside like a run away bride! Ross kept calm, collected and got all of our guests seated inside so the ceremony could begin. Georgina, you have been amazing from the very start of our wedding planning journey, accommodating last minute meetings with us and going through the same thing with me more than once because things were just not sinking in! You have the patience of a saint and were always on hand when we needed you. Paige held our final details appointment, although we were nervous meeting with someone new so close to the wedding, she had all of our notes and made us feel like she was there from the start. Well.... I really don't know where to start! Myself and my partner got married here on 1st July 2023 FINALLY, after 2 cancellations due to COVID and I cannot recommend the hotel enough, we had the most perfect weekend. Most of our close family and friends arrived Friday and stayed the night before the wedding, the boys went into Bawtry for a Chinese and the girls stayed in the hotel for food and drinks, we chose the option to have our own private function room and had a buffet put on for everyone to enjoy and the food did not disappoint! Paige went above and beyond (again! she did for the whole run up) and helpfully sorted all the taxis for the boys to and from Bawtry so we didn't have to worry about that. Ross was around all evening to ensure we had everything we wanted in the hotel and ensure the food was continually stocked up. Wedding day- from start to finish it was perfect! Mark, Ross and Paige, there are no words to describe how attentive and supportive you were on the run up and on the day! I literally don't know what we would have done without Ross & Mark on the day checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. We opted to give guests the option of 2 choices for starter, main and pudding, Fishcake/ Mushrooms, Chicken/ Lamb and Brownie/ Cheeseboard and it was exceptional and all our guests couldn't believe how delicious the food was, thank you so much for being so accommodating with all the dietary needs for our 135 guests! The whole day was so smooth and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing, its like they read your mind!!! All I can say is thank you so much for everything… we had the most magical, beautiful day, it was above and beyond our expectations and that was down to the staff being so accommodating in every aspect! Honestly, if anyone is struggling to find a place to get married and have the perfect day everyone dreams of… Mount Pleasant is the place.

Cannot fault in the lead up to the wedding, all questions answered quickly and helpfully. Ross was fantastic always checking in on the bride, making sure I was okay (cheers for the room to get myself together again!) Two guests were ex hotel managers and could not fault the running and services on the day. The wedding was wonderful, the team made everything flow and catered to our needs. Bar staff were fab during the meal. Beautiful grounds, beautiful hotel - we wish we could do it all over again!

OUR WEDDING DAY WAS THE MOST PERFECT DAY- THE WEDDING WE COULD ONLY HAVE DREAMT OF. Best Western Premier Mount Pleasant Hotel played a massive part in making our wedding day a day to remember- not just for us but especially to all our friends and family. Paige- very accommodating, efficient , caring and always have a smile and willingness to assist Mark- his professionalism , dedication , kindness and warmth made us feel cared for every minute of our wedding day Ross- he is "Mark" in the making, following in his mentor's footsteps with ease. Georgina- booked the wedding day with her Feb 2022 due to that fact that she's very trustworthy and we know that we will be looked after A very special mention to Danny Jones, who is the most hardworking photographer, who not only made sure that we have to be where we needed to be and has taken some wonderful photographs. All of our guests absolutely love him! Both the wedding breakfast and indoor BBQ buffet were fantastic- not to mention the service that went with it from all the dedicated staff, Our guests have all complimented how big the rooms were and how good the breakfast was. Ample parking spaces and perfect location. "Best Western Premier Mount Pleasant Hotel is the hotel with a heart"- a people's hotel. Highly recommended and making South Yorkshire proud- 5*.
