We held our wedding day at Mount Pleasant. The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was gone through with us on the day to ensure all ran smoothly, which it did. It was a beautiful day. Our guests are still talking about after the wedding and about how perfect it was. The grounds are amazing for photos and there is a secret garden area for the couple to take those important photos away from all the guests. I can’t stress how amazing our wedding day was.

A huge thank you for coordinating a fantastic wedding day for us. We had a beautiful wedding day and the team blended seamlessly into the background, but were on hand to ensure things ran smoothly. What a lovely memory for us. From the moment we arrived, we felt special, and confident that things would be managed well. We cannot thank you enough. The attention to detail was second to none. We could not have wished for more. Every aspect was catered for and delivered with professionalism. Very highly recommended.

We had a fabulous day from start to finish. The Mount Pleasant staff were wonderful, helpful, and caring and made our wedding day better than we ever dreamed of which all started from the moment we met Paige. The hotel is beautiful, clean and in a great setting. The secret garden is a stunning setting for the ceremony. We think they even brought the sun out for us! From the receptionist to the barman to the wedding planners to the DJ, they all made us feel welcome and special and nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped us with all aspects of the day. The top man even held my handbag! The whole day exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the beautiful bridal suite had the biggest bath and shower we had ever seen. The breakfast offerings were vast and the catering staff were great! We were on cloud nine the whole time! Thank you!

From attending the wedding fair to the one-to-one meetings, the staff have been absolutely amazing. Communication was always prompt and everything was dealt with accordingly. We received fantastic support and guidance in organising the day from start to finish. On the day nothing was too much trouble, and support for individual and disability needs were met. Many guests shared compliments about the staff, the venue, the grounds and the food. Our special day was made so easy and we have huge respect for all the staff who supported us, even at the end of the day when we were packing away. Our room was so spacious, which made getting ready a pleasant experience for the bridal party. Breakfast the following morning was so varied and delicious, it set us up for the rest of the day.

Where do I start? Wow, Mark went above and beyond - he is one of the most genuine men I’ve ever come across by far. He dealt with everything professionally and with the biggest smile on his face. We had an issue with the bridesmaid dresses and he found a solution by getting a seamstress in to sort the dresses out after the ceremony. I can hand on my heart say I would happily recommend Mount Pleasant Hotel to anyone. In fact, I sing his praises frequently from the rooftops. An amazing place and an amazing team.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. The hotel staff went above and beyond both beforehand and on the day itself. Ross and Paige are exceptional members of staff that need to be mentioned as it was down to them that our day went so beautifully. The bar staff in the evening were so pleasant and lovely and were attentive. The restaurant staff during breakfast both mornings were lovely and when we had our evening meal the staff gave us a glass of complimentary prosecco. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We have a voucher for spa treatments so we will be returning very soon.

Well, where do I start? What an amazing day we had! If we had to do it all over again we wouldn't change a thing! The Mount Pleasant wedding team were fantastic from the start. Their communication was brilliant and they always responded quickly to any questions. They are a very helpful team that makes you feel excited about your BIG day. They were so organised and we always felt they had everything in hand. This was proven by such a smooth-running wedding day. We dealt with Paige for the planning of the wedding who was extremely helpful and helped deliver the day we wanted. On the morning of the wedding, Mark came to greet me, to check I was happy and ask if I needed anything and the hotel manager was there to help also. Ross was the member of staff who ensured the day ran smoothly, that everyone was seated on time for the meal, announced us as the new Mr and Mrs and that speeches started on time. Ross was extremely helpful and we felt completely looked after. Before he left in the evening he made sure we had everything we needed. If that wasn't enough to make your day special, the grounds of Mount Pleasant are absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed drinks in the courtyard filled with flowers and greenery. We had wedding photographs taken on the lawns and around the outside of the building. The main reception room looked fabulous. Both myself and my husband and our guests were thrilled with the size of the bedrooms and how beautifully furnished they were. As I said, from start to finish Mount Pleasant is simply amazing. Mount Pleasant Hotel and the team who run the weddings are absolutely fantastic. They sorted everything out, from the moment of booking to the end of the wedding day. Paige was our go-to person who set everything up and made it all so easy. The staff around the hotel for the whole weekend were accommodating and any request was no problem at all. Even though our wedding was small with 18 guests, it was everything we wanted and more, it felt very lavish but intimate and exactly what we were hoping for. I couldn’t imagine having a wedding anywhere else. X

There are not enough words that can describe the way this venue conducted our wedding. When we booked ahead two years to the day we married we fell in love with, not only the building and grounds but the staff we met along the way. The day before the wedding we were tended to with the utmost respect and importance. We were made to feel like the most important people in the hotel before, during and after the wedding. The wedding was perfect and we could not have asked for a better day because the staff attended to everything. We enjoyed our day because we didn't have to think about a thing. The venue itself is beautiful and the staff worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect for us, which it was. We could not have asked for a better day or a better lead-up to the day. The Wedding Team were there to answer any questions and accommodate changes even when I made change requests just two days before. The staff, from the waiters to the Operations Manager, treat you as part of the family not just as a paying customer. The Master of Ceremonies explained the day to us and even 10 minutes before the wedding checked in to ensure everything was perfect. I am unable to describe how proud I was to have had our wedding at Mount Pleasant and we could not have asked for a better team or venue. I would like to give this venue 1000 stars!

This hotel has been holding weddings for many, many years and it's clear to see why. Every member of staff is warm and friendly and we were made to feel so relaxed about the whole day. The professional attitude to every detail is exceptional and the staff have a brilliant way of always being around but blending into the background. Our day was simply perfect in every detail. The rooms were dressed to a very high standard and any little particulars we requested were set out exactly as we'd hoped. It was amazing to just hand everything over to the wedding team and watch our dream day emerge. From the very first meeting with the wedding team to our check out every everything was perfect!

The spa bridal suite was a serene and stunning setting for my wedding morning—a tranquil space that added to the joy of getting ready for the big moment. There were 12 of us easily. The views from the suite were as beautiful as the interior, setting a serene tone for the day ahead. The food at Mount Pleasant deserves its own mention. It was simply divine—every course was thoughtfully prepared and presented, leaving our guests raving about the meal long after the event. The culinary team truly outdid themselves, contributing to the overall perfection of the day. Mount Pleasant is a stunning venue, and the memories created there will be cherished forever. We chose Mount Pleasant for it's lovely venue and location. We wanted an outdoor ceremony and the pergola area was perfect with gorgeous gardens for photos. The reception areas were perfect for our needs and were dressed lovely. We had a twilight wedding with a hog roast and extra chicken goujons and chips for the kids. We also had canapes and pre-drinks. The food went down a treat, with guests going back for seconds and some thirds. Even the vegetarians complimented their alternative food for being utterly delicious. The canapes were also divine. The bedrooms were fantastic and were a big hit with our guests, who were surprised with the size. We upgraded to the Spa suite instead of the Bridal suite. It was fantastic, but sadly, we didn't use it as much as we wanted to. The Bridal team had the apartment suite, which was perfect for our needs. It also had an outside entrance to facilitate all the wedding prep. From booking the venue to the day itself, the wedding team was fantastic. They were always available when we needed to ask some random question, and they made the wedding day effortless. We brought our own garden games, crisp wall, and sweet table, which the staff kindly organised, set up, and filled, which took the pressure off us. The whole staff at the venue were very welcoming, and there was nothing too much.

We couldn't fault anything about our wedding planning and the actual day. From the moment we made contact with Paige, nothing was too much trouble, and she accommodated any changes we wanted with no problems at all, even when we changed the date three times!!! The day went so smoothly thanks to Ross, who was our master of ceremonies. Again, nothing was too much trouble, and we felt really well looked after. We got married outside, which was lovely, and the wood where we had our photos taken was stunning. The whole setting of Mount Pleasant is a lovely venue, and our guests commented on what a beautiful hotel it is. Several of our party stopped overnight, as we did, too. Everyone commented on how big their rooms were, and we stayed in one of the spa suites, which was fabulous. . We ate in the restaurant with our families the night before our wedding. The food and service were first-class, and it was a lovely way to start our celebration. Our wedding breakfast was delicious, and again, the service was faultless. We would highly recommend Mount Pleasant as a wedding venue. Every aspect of our wedding was just as we wanted it, making the planning and day stress-free. Every member of staff we encountered was polite and professional, and it was obvious they wanted us to have the best experience possible, which we definitely did.

It was a fantastic evening wedding. The team provided really great support and discussions, and they coordinated all the extra people coming for the cake, music, etc. great venue and time to set it up as we wanted with their help. The friendly staff kept checking, and everything was okay! Amazing bedrooms and breakfast. We felt it was fantastic value for money for the evening package with all it included, such as the drinks, buffet and our bridal suite. Thank you!

From the moment we came for our first viewing of the venue we were looked after so well by all the staff at Mount Pleasant. The booking process was very easy. Emails were answered in great time, nothing was too much trouble. Paige was excellent in helping us organise everything and Ross looked after us on the day and was equally as fantastic. A mention to Beth as well who helped us in the morning with our music for the ceremony and afterward. The actual wedding day went very smoothly, the food was excellent, everyone said how nice it was and the DJ (Kev) ensured we had a fabulous party and was extremely obliging with requests!! The venue itself is beautiful and very charming, it was a pleasure to be able to spend 2 days there and fully experience the hotel. It was perfect. From the very first visit to this hotel to discuss our wedding plans we were filled with confidence. The wedding team staff here are exceptional. We were kept advised every step and if we had questions we always got a very quick response. When the wedding day finally arrived we knew everything would be perfect and it was. The whole day was incredible, the staff were on hand for anything throughout the day and everything just ran like clockwork. It was wonderful having someone from the wedding team there all day, by your side to guide us through the day. Our guests were stunned at the beauty of their rooms. All the staff, the wedding team, the reception, restaurant and bar staff made our wedding day truly magical. If we could do it all again this weekend we'd jump at the chance. They made sure every detail was meticulously taken care of, from the delicious food to the perfectly timed service. Our guests were never left wanting, and we couldn't have asked for more. What truly stood out was the incredible service. The staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and at ease. We had such an amazing day, it was honestly just the best! Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff, both in the lead-up to the wedding and on the actual day. The whole experience of our wedding at Mount Pleasant Hotel was handled with care, consideration and creativity. The ceremony room, Thomas Stocks was bright, tastefully decorated and clean with the option of an outdoor ceremony weather permitting. The choices of packages was very varied and we found one that suited us perfectly. The food was of quality and served by caring staff . The honeymoon suite was fantastic. The fact that our guests could book online and that the rooms were discounted was of great help. The most satisfying aspect was the care and attention the weddings team gave us, Georgina, Paige and Luke were attentive and caring with nothing being too much trouble. It was a fabulous experience and having looked at several venues, we definitely made the right choice. I would recommend Mount Pleasant to anyone looking to have a quality event with a fabulous team that really do go the extra mile to look after you. Well I don’t know where to start, what an amazing, caring thoughtful team. From us booking our wedding right through to the evening of the wedding, Mount Pleasant wedding team could not have done enough. Nothing was ever too much trouble, they made everything we wanted possible and I can’t recommend this venue enough. The food was absolutely beautiful, amazing feedback from our guests and the DJ could not have been any better, he played something for everybody. A big thank you to Paige who made our final detail meeting a breeze, and was always on the other end of the phone when I needed her, Mark who made me feel at ease as soon as I walked into Mount Pleasant the night before I got married and was there the morning of the wedding to have a walk with me around the venue and try to help me with my nerves.
