It was truly the best day of our lives and this is all down to Paige, Ross and the team at Mount Pleasant. From day one of booking, Paige has been there to answer any questions or needs. She is just incredible and took all the stress out of planning a wedding. On the day, Ross was brilliant and could not do enough for us and our guests. I would recommend Mount Pleasant to every single couple thinking of getting married here, you won't get the service or level or detail anywhere else! There is not enough room on here to thank them enough. If we had the chance to do the day again, we would pick Mount Pleasant every single time.

What an amazing wedding day we had here at Mount Pleasant, everything went smooth sailing, the day was just perfect! We had stunning warm sunshine weather, no job was to big or to small, my constant emails and meetings were always met to our expectations. From the very first phone call to enquire about availability, the wedding team were absolutely fantastic. All questions answered, menus and options provided and the assurance that they were used to dealing with the registrars for wedding ceremonies held at the hotel. The team kept us up to date on everything regularly without being overbearing. The ceremony itself was super organised, with the team briefing us regularly on timings and what was happening next, again without being overbearing or heavy-handed. We only had around 20 people at our day, so not a massive event but it seemed as if the staff couldn't have been more attentive and helpful, treating it as if it was the best and biggest wedding they had ever hosted. The food was absolutely beautiful, hot and well presented. The wedding team dealt with our outside entertainers, ensuring they set up safely and in the correct areas of the room, always on hand to answer questions. I had such fantastic feedback from all of the guests who absolutely loved the overall ambience and relaxed feel of the day, They also loved their rooms (most of them stayed over) and felt that the best care had been taken of them. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too, one of the best hotel buffet breakfasts I've had in terms of hot and freshly cooked produce. I can't say enough about how amazing the day was and how memorable everyone at the hotel made it, this includes the waiting and bar staff , the wonderful work of the kitchen team plus everyone we came into contact with who worked at the hotel. The wedding experience was 1st class from the initial enquiry right through to the celebration event. All staff we're friendly and on-hand to help. The venue was perfect, and the bedrooms were very clean and spacious with views of the beautiful gardens. Paige was very friendly & helpful in coordinating the wedding. She put our dream into reality. Ross coordinated the actual day, was very friendly and approachable, and dealt with everything in a very professional manner. The food was very nice and served punctually with all staff being very professional through out. The evening buffet was plentiful and guests passed comment on how good it was. The DJ was excellent and we thought the package we chose was very good value. Thank you to everyone involved, we very much appreciated all your work.

We can't thank or praise Paige, Ross, Mark and all the team, enough, at Best Western - The Mount Pleasant, near Bawtry, Doncaster. The planning, the day, the food, the photo opportunities in the beautiful gardens, attention to detail, especially to assist with a guest who was outside with a pet. Absolutely amazing and can highly recommend them to you. The Hotel and rooms we used were stunning and all our guests have said it was one of the best weddings they have been to! Quite an accolade. Paige has been tremendous in assisting us to plan for the day, always polite and cheerful. From walking through the doors on our first visit we were blown away, we met Paige our wedding coordinator who was an absolute joy nothing was too much trouble from any email to phone calls and meetings she always had a beautiful smile and a warm greeting even if I did ask a million and one questions lol. Our room on the day looked spectacular and our day was amazing. I booked a room for 2 nights so myself and bridesmaids could get ready in the day. All the staff were so nice and very friendly too. On the day nothing was too much trouble for Riss he made me feel calmer with his professionalism and charm. We got married here in March everything was amazing the food the staff the service and the rooms for weddings or events that they are held in are of the highest standard and so decorated to detail had the most amazing day! the cleanliness of the actual hotel was more than we expected, it’s just so clean and the breakfast or food in the restaurant was so good and such variety to choose from if anyone was thinking of a event or wedding this is the place I would recommend anyone to go u won’t be disappointed and u get updated and messaged every step of the way asking if things are how you would like and so on. We had the most amazing wedding day at the Mount Pleasant Hotel! The venue was absolutely perfect. All the staff were amazing, especially the wedding planner and coordinators as nothing was ever too much trouble. They went above and beyond to ensure that we and all our guests had the best day ever! Comments were made by our guests that this was the best wedding and venue they have attended. We had our big day on 12.12.24 and it was fantastic from start to finish, the whole team at Mount Pleasant went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect and it was absolutely magnificent. The staff the food and our stay were just so amazing and we can’t thank everyone enough for making our stay worthwhile. I would definitely recommend anyone who is getting married to do so at Mount Pleasant or is looking for a place to enjoy themselves and relax this is the place to go.

The whole day was perfect! We couldn't have asked for more. Within only 14 weeks Paige made our perfect day for us! She listened to what I wanted (even though I was very vague) and created the perfect package for us! We wanted an intimate day with added flare which we got! Everything was taken care of, and anything they couldn't do they recommended people to help us. We literally just had to turn up which took away any stress we may have had. It all ran smoothly and because communication was so easy we were able to iron out any kinks way before the day. We cannot recommend Mount Pleasant or Paige enough! Even when I made things way too confusing Paige not only made me relax but fixed the anxieties I had instantly creating the vision I wanted but couldn't articulate! We cannot thank the team more for everything they did!

From our look-around visit to booking the venue and celebrating our wedding, everything was so easy and stress-free! Everyone complimented the venue, the food, and the master of ceremonies, Mark. Mark was such a nice guy—nothing was too much trouble for him to sort out. He didn’t hesitate to handle things right away, which was incredibly helpful. We held our wedding day at Mount Pleasant. The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was gone through with us on the day to ensure all ran smoothly, which it did. It was a beautiful day. Our guests are still talking about after the wedding and about how perfect it was. The grounds are amazing for photos and there is a secret garden area for the couple to take those important photos away from all the guests. I can’t stress how amazing our wedding day was.

We had a fabulous day from start to finish. The Mount Pleasant staff were wonderful, helpful, and caring and made our wedding day better than we ever dreamed of which all started from the moment we met Paige. The hotel is beautiful, clean and in a great setting. The secret garden is a stunning setting for the ceremony. We think they even brought the sun out for us! From the receptionist to the barman to the wedding planners to the DJ, they all made us feel welcome and special and nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped us with all aspects of the day. The top man even held my handbag! The whole day exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the beautiful bridal suite had the biggest bath and shower we had ever seen. The breakfast offerings were vast and the catering staff were great! We were on cloud nine the whole time! Thank you!

From attending the wedding fair to the one-to-one meetings, the staff have been absolutely amazing. Communication was always prompt and everything was dealt with accordingly. We received fantastic support and guidance in organising the day from start to finish. On the day nothing was too much trouble, and support for individual and disability needs were met. Many guests shared compliments about the staff, the venue, the grounds and the food. Our special day was made so easy and we have huge respect for all the staff who supported us, even at the end of the day when we were packing away. Our room was so spacious, which made getting ready a pleasant experience for the bridal party. Breakfast the following morning was so varied and delicious, it set us up for the rest of the day.

Where do I start? Wow, Mark went above and beyond - he is one of the most genuine men I’ve ever come across by far. He dealt with everything professionally and with the biggest smile on his face. We had an issue with the bridesmaid dresses and he found a solution by getting a seamstress in to sort the dresses out after the ceremony. I can hand on my heart say I would happily recommend Mount Pleasant Hotel to anyone. In fact, I sing his praises frequently from the rooftops. An amazing place and an amazing team.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. The hotel staff went above and beyond both beforehand and on the day itself. Ross and Paige are exceptional members of staff that need to be mentioned as it was down to them that our day went so beautifully. The bar staff in the evening were so pleasant and lovely and were attentive. The restaurant staff during breakfast both mornings were lovely and when we had our evening meal the staff gave us a glass of complimentary prosecco. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We have a voucher for spa treatments so we will be returning very soon.

Well, where do I start? What an amazing day we had! If we had to do it all over again we wouldn't change a thing! The Mount Pleasant wedding team were fantastic from the start. Their communication was brilliant and they always responded quickly to any questions. They are a very helpful team that makes you feel excited about your BIG day. They were so organised and we always felt they had everything in hand. This was proven by such a smooth-running wedding day. We dealt with Paige for the planning of the wedding who was extremely helpful and helped deliver the day we wanted. On the morning of the wedding, Mark came to greet me, to check I was happy and ask if I needed anything and the hotel manager was there to help also. Ross was the member of staff who ensured the day ran smoothly, that everyone was seated on time for the meal, announced us as the new Mr and Mrs and that speeches started on time. Ross was extremely helpful and we felt completely looked after. Before he left in the evening he made sure we had everything we needed. If that wasn't enough to make your day special, the grounds of Mount Pleasant are absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed drinks in the courtyard filled with flowers and greenery. We had wedding photographs taken on the lawns and around the outside of the building. The main reception room looked fabulous. Both myself and my husband and our guests were thrilled with the size of the bedrooms and how beautifully furnished they were. As I said, from start to finish Mount Pleasant is simply amazing. Mount Pleasant Hotel and the team who run the weddings are absolutely fantastic. They sorted everything out, from the moment of booking to the end of the wedding day. Paige was our go-to person who set everything up and made it all so easy. The staff around the hotel for the whole weekend were accommodating and any request was no problem at all. Even though our wedding was small with 18 guests, it was everything we wanted and more, it felt very lavish but intimate and exactly what we were hoping for. I couldn’t imagine having a wedding anywhere else. X

There are not enough words that can describe the way this venue conducted our wedding. When we booked ahead two years to the day we married we fell in love with, not only the building and grounds but the staff we met along the way. The day before the wedding we were tended to with the utmost respect and importance. We were made to feel like the most important people in the hotel before, during and after the wedding. The wedding was perfect and we could not have asked for a better day because the staff attended to everything. We enjoyed our day because we didn't have to think about a thing. The venue itself is beautiful and the staff worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect for us, which it was. We could not have asked for a better day or a better lead-up to the day. The Wedding Team were there to answer any questions and accommodate changes even when I made change requests just two days before. The staff, from the waiters to the Operations Manager, treat you as part of the family not just as a paying customer. The Master of Ceremonies explained the day to us and even 10 minutes before the wedding checked in to ensure everything was perfect. I am unable to describe how proud I was to have had our wedding at Mount Pleasant and we could not have asked for a better team or venue. I would like to give this venue 1000 stars!

This hotel has been holding weddings for many, many years and it's clear to see why. Every member of staff is warm and friendly and we were made to feel so relaxed about the whole day. The professional attitude to every detail is exceptional and the staff have a brilliant way of always being around but blending into the background. Our day was simply perfect in every detail. The rooms were dressed to a very high standard and any little particulars we requested were set out exactly as we'd hoped. It was amazing to just hand everything over to the wedding team and watch our dream day emerge. From the very first meeting with the wedding team to our check out every everything was perfect!
