From the very start, the shamrock lodge was a fantastic experience. They were brilliant in helping us with every little detail of our day. Our wedding coordinator was fabulous. We had a combined wedding Irish Italian and they were so happy to accommodate everything we requested. The wedding room was very elegant. Down to the little details everything was perfect. The hall where we had our meal was decorated exactly how we wanted and was all we could have wished for. The food was amazing as always and service was 100 percent. We partied the night away!

We cannot thank The Shamrock Lodge enough for all their efforts on the day of our wedding and in the lead up to it, also. We had the most amazing day and couldn’t be happier we decided to have our reception here. From the moment we met with Warren, we knew we were in good hands. Myself and my husband got married in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel on 30-12-2023. There aren’t enough words to describe just how amazing our day was, and that’s all down to the staff in this fabulous hotel. We planned our wedding from overseas which made things a lot trickier for us, but Mary and Rebecca (the wedding coordinators) were so accommodating and organised a Zoom call with us when we were trying to decide on a hotel. As soon as we had the call, we knew this would be the hotel we would be booking. Being a family-run business, it really stood out from the rest and we had no doubt in our minds that we were in great hands. In the lead-up to the wedding, everyone was just so helpful towards us. We met with Alan the GM and he was just incredible. He had the warmest welcome to us, listened to exactly what we wanted but also offered us his professional advice on things we weren’t sure about. We left that day knowing our wedding day was going to be perfect. On the day itself, we were absolutely blown away by the hospitality and attention to detail. Paddy, Alan, Raj and Warren could not do enough for us. Not only us but also our wedding guests, getting to know most of our immediate and extended family by name and making sure everyone was okay constantly throughout the day. We had so many people comment on this as things like this don’t go unnoticed. They really made everyone feel so welcome and comfortable. Onto the main event - the meal. The food was just amazing!! When we did the menu tasting before the wedding, we knew that everybody on the day would love it. We had so many compliments about the meal. The service was so quick, there were no delays and the staff even went around with a second round of mains to all the tables. We feel so incredibly lucky and grateful that we were able to have our wedding at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel. We will never forget how special all the staff made us feel. Where do I begin....the most amazing wedding venue. Family-run hotel and they 100% look after everyone. We had the best day and everything about the lodge was perfect. The service was amazing, the food, the venue and the staff. Alan was a pleasure to deal with on the day and he couldn't do enough to make sure Mark and I were looked after and all of our guests. Our 2 young boys 4 and 2 were minded and to us, that was just one of the many special touches. Best wedding venue!

From the moment we made first contact right up to our day and even after, every single member of staff treated us with kindness and professionalism. When you book your wedding with Shamrock Lodge Hotel, you’re booking an amazing, fun, and truly unforgettable day! It is true what all the reviews and awards say, nothing is too much trouble. First, Mary, then Rebecca made everything so very easy for us, which is exactly what we needed because we live in Melbourne (Darragh is from Athlone). Aside from one Zoom call, everything was organized for us by way of email with quick responses and answers to my multitude of questions in great detail. On the day of our wedding, the whole team looked after us and our guests so well and all our guests said they had a wonderful time. There were so many food options to choose from and everything we picked was delicious. We had potato and leek soup (all the guests said this was unreal), chicken & mushroom bouche and chorizo/black pudding, sirloin of beef and fillet of salmon, and the desert medley. We had several guests come from Australia and other parts of the world who stayed at the lodge and said they had a wonderful stay, with again, nothing being too much trouble. Debbie in the Front Office team provided 5-star customer service, again mainly via email, organizing all of the required rooms for our international guests. It was exactly the kind of relaxed and fun, yet also elegant and traditional wedding we were hoping for. The customer service at the lodge is second to none and this was further extended to us by some of the team members of the front office and housekeeping teams who generously offered to babysit our baby girl, my nieces, and my bridesmaid’s baby. Going above and beyond is an understatement. Thank you SLH!! Can’t wait to return when we’re next in Ireland.

Let our family look after your family. Well, from start to finish we were genuinely made to feel like family. Warren, Paddy and Alan, ye are absolute gentlemen and it shows in your staff. They are amazing. It was an amazing day and exceeded our expectations. Rebecca, you are so easy to deal with and I genuinely loved how there was no pressure put on us at all. Your housekeeping staff are brilliant, they took such care with moving our stuff which was much appreciated. The best weekend was had by all and to make it that bit more special, my parents got married there in September, 40 years ago. Ye really are a dream team, From my family to yours, thanks so much.

From day 1 when we booked, they went above and beyond for us, anything we asked for needed or wanted was done for us without question. When we booked our wedding we had no other hotel in mind it was always the Shamrock Lodge. I would recommend anyone to book with them as they will not disappoint. On the search for a location for our wedding reception, we got a last minute appointment with the son of the owner, Alan, in early January. The nice atmosphere and genuine conversation convinced us. The Shamrock Lodge delivered exceptionally throughout the whole process: The planning with Rebecca who was there helping and supporting every step of the way; the fantastic, friendly staff that delivered high quality food was mentioned by all of the guests. The staff of the Shamrock Lodge were very welcoming and helpful to all of our guests and really went the extra mile. The location was perfect for our German-Irish wedding with 190 guests with great outdoor drinks reception area, ballroom and comfortable accommodation. The location of the hotel suited our guests as it was a short walk to the town centre and the river Shannon. All in all it exceeded our expectation. Thanks to the whole team and especially to Rebecca, Alan, Paddy and Raj.

We had our wedding in the Shamrock Lodge in August 2023. It was a two day wedding celebration. From the first time we entered the Shamrock Lodge, it just felt like home. The managers Alan, Warren and Paddy, their wedding coordinator Rebecca and all the team were extremely helpful and friendly right up until the end of our wedding celebrations. The food was absolutely amazing and the organisation throughout the 2 days of our wedding celebration were flawless! The team were so attentive and went above and beyond for us. We had our reception at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel and from the beginning, preparation and throughout we received 1st class service. It's a family run business with amazing input and plenty of knowledge from Paddy and Alan, their amazing wedding co-ordinator Rebecca and all their staff. The Shamrock Lodge Hotel were nothing but accommodating from the moment we enquired about our wedding with them up until the day itself. I could not recommend them enough for a wedding as they have top class service and food. All guests will be looked after and catered for as best as they can. Nothing was too much of an ask, and all staff and management are so friendly and helpful. Our wedding co-ordinator Rebecca was phenomenal and had everything down to a tee which took a lot of stress off us. Your wedding is in the safest of hands with the Shamrock Lodge team.

Rebecca the wedding coordinator, was always at the end of an email and kept in constant communication with us through the planning. I stayed the night before the wedding in the apartments and was given a run through of the room for the next day. Raj and Warren were exceptional in looking after us. Lots of our guests noted the same. This was invaluable in the smooth running of the day. Would highly recommend the Shamrock Lodge as a wedding venue.

We decided to celebrate our wedding here after dropping in one Sunday for the carvery lunch and some quality assurance on the Guinness. We had seen online some favourable reviews for weddings here and wanted to check it out for ourselves. From the moment we went in, we were not disappointed. The food is great, fresh, great portions, the deserts were lovely and the pints were spot on. The place itself has been well decorated and has a great atmosphere. On the back of this, we proceeded to book our wedding here. From the moment we engaged with Rebecca (wedding coordinator) she was very easy to work with and answered all our questions and put our minds at ease throughout the process. The manager Alan was a lovely man to deal with and made us feel very special on our menu tasting evening, which in itself was a great evening. We got taken care of from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing………….all of it.   The wedding day itself was very well run. Everything went according to plan. The room we had the ceremony in was really well done up and we would have absolutely no complaints about it. The reception afterwards flew and the dinner (and dessert) itself was beautiful. The service was excellent. Many guests complemented us that the food was really good. Dealing with the staff here throughout the process was extremely pleasant and you can tell it is a great place to work from talking to some of the staff. Would have absolutely no reservations recommending the Shamrock Lodge to anyone for a wedding. If we had to do it all over again we’d do it here again. We organized our wedding from Beijing, so once we had chosen the Shamrock Lodge, Mary helped us at the beginning to secure our special day. Going forward we then dealt with Rebecca. I cannot thank this lady enough - she made us feel so relaxed and welcome, like we were the only couple to have ever gotten married in the hotel. Whenever there would be some worries, we would shoot her an email and she would give such a detailed reply and be as helpful as always. On our special day, the venue looked absolutely amazing. The food was great, drinks were flowing and the atmosphere was just incredible. We had such a great day full of laughter and love, and craziness! Thank you so much for making our day so amazing!!

Rebecca was a wonderful coordinator. We were planning our wedding from abroad and she was so easy to work with and always responded promptly to any inquiries and requests we had. I could not fault a thing about our day, we had the best time thanks to the staff at the Shamrock Lodge. The food was exceptional, and the service was outstanding. It was very apparent from the get go that the Shamrock Lodge is well experienced and equipped to handle weddings of all sizes. Every aspect of the service was prompt and efficient. We had a lot of American guests and they all loved the venue, everyone remarked on the food and particularly appreciated that late night food was served. Our ceremony was also at the lodge and everything was decorated so beautifully by the team, exactly as we envisioned.
