Waterton Park is an absolutely stunning wedding venue. It was perfect for our special day! We first visited the venue in June 2024 after deciding we wanted to get married in the same year. The packages offered were exactly what we wanted and very comprehensive compared to other venues we looked at online. We were welcomed by Pauline and we discussed our ideas for our wedding. It was very relaxed and was very much about understanding what we wanted, supported by suggestions from Pauline on how we could get the most out of our day. We were then shown around the venue, and able to ask as many questions as required. The venue is even more magical in person and the rooms available for the ceremony and reception allow you the freedom of the venue rather than being confined to a single space. There was no pressure whatsoever to book the venue there and then and we were provided with further information a few days later, as promised. At this point, we had already decided this was our perfect venue. It was actually the only venue we visited. We were then guided through our next steps on how to secure the booking. Pauline and Olivia kept in touch with us throughout the entire process, right up to our wedding day. Everything was our choice and we made the decisions on what we wanted. When our wedding day arrived, everything was perfect and exactly as we had planned. Olivia was there on the day making sure we were where we needed to be at the time we needed to be there. She ensured everything ran smoothly and made us aware of who we needed to ask for during the evening reception if needed. She was on hand the morning after to say goodbye and was genuinely interested to hear about our wedding. The bridal suite was amazing, very modern, spacious and beautifully furnished. The food for the buffet was delicious and plenty for everyone. All dietary needs were accommodated. The DJ was brilliant, very entertaining and kept the vibe going until the end. We couldn't imagine getting married elsewhere!

We had a lovely day. Everything ran smoothly with no hiccups. Olivia was great and always informed us of what was happening well in advance so there was no stress. We couldn't have picked a better place to renew our vows, it is so picturesque and even the red carpet was out which was a great touch. We had aperitifs after the ceremony which were lovely and had numerous choices, and then a BBQ at night which was delicious. Everything was great and Waterton was brilliant in every way.

Our first impression of Waterton Park Hotel was that it is absolutely stunning and picturesque and after meeting Pauline Charlton, the wedding co-ordinator, we knew that we didn’t have to look at any other venue, because she sold it to us. Her personality, professionalism and knowledge helped us plan stress free through the process of organising our special day. Venue - beautiful location set in a nature reserve, with the island hotel on the lake as an ideal and fairy tale setting. Accommodation - we had 28 guests staying for the weekend and they were overwhelmed with their hotel rooms which they stated were sumptuous, spotless and spacious, with gorgeous outlooks onto the lake. Catering - our guests commented on the quality of the food served, the canapés, the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet. Staff: extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble, accommodating, professional and hard working. Our actual wedding day was planned down to exact timings by Pauline and her team. It worked superbly because they had everything arranged and set up ready for us to enjoy every single minute of the day, without having to stress about anything. We cannot praise the venue and staff enough as they made our guests and us so welcome and relaxed. We booked Waterton Park for our wedding after having previously walked past the venue on a country walk. From booking the actual date right through to the day itself, all the staff have gone above and beyond for us. They always provided prompt answers to the numerous questions and queries we had. On the day, we had a few guests with special dietary requirements, and these were all catered for, with all the guests providing positive feedback on their experience. The help from Pauline and Olivia, in particular, has been great, explaining all the processes every step of the way. The day ran better than we expected, we were lucky enough to get beaming sunshine throughout the day, which further enhanced the day meaning our guests could enjoy the outside areas. We did have entertainment from outside of Waterton Park for the day, and both the magic mirror company and the ice cream vendors were dealt with and accommodated in a thoroughly professional manner. The honeymoon suite was the cherry on top of the cake, it is absolutely stunning and waking up to the views of the lake was something else. We intend on returning next year to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.

We knew when we first visited Waterton Park Hotel that it was a special place to get married. Pauline and the team gave us a warm welcome, helped us plan our wedding day, and were always available to answer any queries that we had during the build-up. We were very impressed with how smoothly the wedding day went, and the team were on hand in case we needed them. We'd overall highly recommend Waterton as a venue and look forward to returning for special occasions.

We are from Australia, but I have many older family members in the UK who could not come over for the Australian wedding; hence, we decided to have a second UK wedding at Waterton Park Hotel. The staff were all very accommodating while organising and for the day itself. We couldn’t get to the UK before the booked date, so all the organising was done over email and Facetime. Everyone was very helpful with all of my family and my questions. We also had several dietary and drink requirements, which they were accommodating. The day was absolutely beautiful, the setting was stunning, the food was amazing, and the staff were just wonderful. Everything went better than we could have hoped for. Highly recommend!

So! We had our wonderful wedding at the Waterton Park Hotel. This is the most gorgeous venue you could imagine. We had guests from across the country, and they all remarked on how beautiful the venue was. We had our wedding on a sunny day and a beautiful evening. The rooms we stayed in were elegant and full of character. The boathouse where we spent our evening was so relaxing and unique. All of the staff at Waterton were so friendly and knowledgeable. My partner and I spent our wedding morning worrying about what would happen throughout the day. Still, we had someone to walk us through every step of the day, whether getting ready, registrars, photos, reception, or evening. The team are so much more than ‘staff’; they truly understand the needs of soon-to-be weds/newlyweds. Our family couldn’t stop commenting on how wonderful they were throughout. Just a massive thank you to everyone involved and if I could do it all again I wouldn’t change a thing ❤️

Overall the experience was excellent and stress-free. Pauline was helpful during the whole process, having all the answers, guidance, and suggestions, and made it all feel very easy! Communication was excellent. Pauline was clear on task deadlines and who needed to arrange it. Olivia showed us around initially and did a great job at answering any questions. The venue is excellent, and scenic, looking fantastic in the the day and at night when lit up. All the guests were impressed by the site and rooms. The day was stress-free. The staff were friendly, and helpful and knew what to do on the day. Pauline and the team always felt like they were nearby and available but never on top of you. The meal and evening food was excellent and accommodated for dietary needs. As the day progressed, we were introduced to different team leads for the meal and evening reception, so we knew who to talk to. We didn't though, they had it all under control. It was a case of turning up, handing over stuff to the staff at the reception, and then letting them handle it all. We had a 15:00 ceremony, so our morning was fairly relaxed, I just sat chilled and went for a swim. Staff throughout the day were friendly and helpful. We used their DJ and have no regrets. It removed the hassle of finding a band and they accommodated our music requests. Mixing pop, and techno with rock & heavy metal, did some shoutouts. Even opened like a Metallica gig, we asked for that! Everyone was happy with the quality. Waterton provided a recommended vendor list, which was excellent. The working relationship between Waterton and the vendors is a strong one. They were all helpful and provided preferential services, with some offering first refusal whilst enquiring/booking on dates. They all knew the site and were able to offer valuable insights and were able to deal directly with the venue for some of the arrangements, which took a lot of pressure off us. Matthew cannot praise and thank the staff at the Waterton enough for their support in making our wedding day amazing. From helping us to organize and guiding us throughout the day (Pauline), to bringing amazing food and serving us and all our guests with nothing but positivity (Emily and the servers), and finally Chris who was there every step through our evening reception. We had a day filled with tears and laughter and didn't have to worry once because of the support from the Waterton staff. Thank you again for everything you did for us, words just don't seem to be enough.

From start to finish we couldn’t fault the service provided by Pauline and her team colleagues. Nothing was too much trouble and what a venue Waterton is….simply stunning. The food was delicious as our guests were only too happy to point out. Our room was wonderful and the lovely touch of gifting a teddy bear was greatly appreciated. The Waterton Park Hotel (Wedding team were absolutely) fantastic, our magical day ran so smoothly with amazing support throughout. From helping with planning to coordinating on the day we were very well taken care of by the team, from being helped with vendors, to helping us on the weekend/day. The venue is even more beautiful in person and the friendly bubbly team added that extra factor! So pleased we found this gem for our day which was perfect.

Absolutely amazing team! From enquiring to changing our date due to finding out we were expecting our 3rd baby, right through to our wedding day everyone was absolutely fantastic. Pauline and her girls put me at ease all throughout our day keeping everything ticking like clockwork nothing was too much trouble. From start to finish Pauline and Olivia have been at hand if I had any questions for my big day at Waterton Park, however small, nothing was an issue. They were there with me throughout the day and did a lovely handover for the person that will be looking after us for the wedding breakfast and then for the reception. The whole staff at Waterton were truly lovely and their customer service is 5 stars! The food was amazing and they made our day so magical. If I could do it all again, I would choose Waterton Park every time, not just for the venue but every employee that was on duty that day and helped in making our day that much more special.

We decided to book Waterton Park Hotel mainly because we live in Walton and we were well aware of how beautiful the venue was for a long time prior. So we wanted to get married somewhere that ticked the box of being stunning, but also somewhere that would have some meaning for us, and it is where our home is so we couldn't think of anywhere better. In terms of actually booking the venue, it was such a simple process, but also personalised to me and Tom. We were given a really detailed description of what our package would include and how we could tweak this to suit us, and then payments were in installments, which was wonderful when paying for a wedding. There was no pestering or pressure at all, we just felt welcomed and taken care of right from the start. While the venue caters for lots of weddings, it really did feel as though each wedding is given 100% of the care and attention it deserves. We then attended a Wedding Fayre and this opportunity was perfect to help us find some of our suppliers. We booked our musicians, photographer, videographer, venue decorator, and flooring on or just after that day. We were also supported with any questions we had throughout the day so we knew what to do about any other bookings we needed to make. Regular contact was then maintained from the point of booking up until the day, with regular face to face appointments being made available. On the day, I found everyone working at Waterton to be so organised, calming and approachable. I could not fault the venue in anyway. I felt like everything ran smoothly and everything behind the scenes was just being conducted with experience and professionalism. Our guests also commented on how well the wedding was conducted and how friendly the staff were. Thank you all so much, Katie & Tom.

My brother previously got married at Waterton 5 years before me and as soon as I saw the venue both my fiance and I knew we couldn't picture anywhere else to spend our wedding day. The list of suppliers was outstanding and really took the stress of wedding planning away. The team were professional and thoughtful, always keeping us in the loop and making sure that we hadn't forgot any of the small details that make a huge difference on the day. Pauline took such good care of both us and our guests on the day, making sure that everything ran smoothly. We were lucky enough to have a sunny wedding day this August however we know that many couples did not have the same experience however before the day we had already been consulted about contingency plans for if the weather was not at it's best. The grounds themselves are breathtaking and gave us such beautiful photographs that we can treasure forever. The food was delicious and all of our guests told us that both the wedding breakfast and the evening reception barbecue was top notch. Both my new husband and I cannot recommend Waterton Park Hotel enough to make your wedding day something that you will remember for the rest of your life.

We cannot thank Waterton Park enough for a truly amazing day! Nothing was too much hassle from the very start. We ended up getting married on possibly the hottest September day but that didn't slow any of the staff down. The day ran effortlessly and so many guests commented on how spectacular and memorable it was for them. The catering was next level and the detail of everything, we just could not ask for more. After our wedding, we both had wedding blues and I think that just speaks volumes for just how great this venue and the staff were. We would not change anything about our day (apart from the temperature maybe) and my hubby is already talking about our renewal here in 10 years time!! What can I say about my wedding experience other than everything has just been perfect. From going to look at the venue back in March 2022 to our wedding day on the 16th of October 2023. After booking the wedding, Pauline helped by sending over a supplier list as we had an idea of what we wanted on the day, but didn’t have a clue where to start . Communication between me, Pauline and Olivia has been great, any questions I had was answered quickly. I wanted to go and rehearse my first dance before the big day and Pauline booked the boathouse room out for us no problem. The day of the wedding ran so smoothly. Olivia did a great job keeping us all to timings. The venue had been beautifully decorated. All the staff in Charlie’s bar were friendly enough and the chefs served a beautiful wedding breakfast. The evening doo bbq was beautiful, the DJ (Simon) played music to suit all tastes and recorded our first dance (I still need to see this recording!) The honey moon suit was up to date and had the best views looking on to the lake. I couldn’t have wished for a better day. It was perfect all round. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Waterton Park Hotel was the perfect wedding venue, the building and grounds are absolutely stunning, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble! While all the staff were wonderful on the lead up and on the day, a special mention is needed for Pauline, Paul and Mark who looked after us on the day. They really made the day special for us and our guests and nothing was too much trouble. Our guests have said it was the best wedding they’d been to and the venue was absolutely beautiful. The food was really good, with lots of choice in menus when planning the day, and the BBQ in the evening was really nice. We honestly couldn’t have picked a better venue for our wedding and can’t recommend Waterton enough, we just wish we could relive the day all over again!

Honestly, we can’t thank Pauline, Liv and the team enough for giving us the day of our dreams. We fell in love with Waterton as soon as we saw it and booked there and then, along with a few of their preferred suppliers. The whole day went perfectly, although way too fast. The food was amazing, everyone commented how lovely it was and how beautiful everything was.
