Had our wedding at the Waterton Park Hotel. I have to say I was worried about how it would all fit together and whether it would all run smoothly. On the day, we had breakfast delivered to our room, hair and make-up arrived at 7:45 am, the photographer arrived around 11 am, and all was smooth. The wedding at 1 pm ran lovely, everything was set up as we planned in the county suite, so glad we chose that room as it is air conditioned and was really warm and sunny out. Drinks reception out on the grass over the bridge. A couple of hrs later, back to the county suite, which had been set up for the wedding breakfast and again it was beautifully presented as we had designed, and the food was superb, and we had a lot of compliments from our guests about how good the food was. We had used wedding venue lighting to supply a starlite dancefloor with uplights and a photo booth for the evening reception, also in the county suite, and that was installed with no fuss and no input needed from us at all, so we could just enjoy the day. There was just one minor problem in the evening, that we had a lot more guests in the evening than in the daytime, and not enough tables and chairs were put out to seat them all, but this was soon remedied and didn't cause any real problems. All in all, a fantastic setting for a wedding, it was well worth the money it cost to put on a wedding, and we would not hesitate to recommend Waterton Park for anyone thinking of getting married here. My wife said she wants to do it again !!

Absolutely Perfect! Waterton Park was everything we dreamed of and more. The stunning lakeside setting, great organisation, and warm, professional team made our day unforgettable. If we had any questions throughout the planning process or needed advice, Olivia or another member of the team got back to us straight away and was super helpful. The food, both during the day and evening, was exceptional, and everyone enjoyed it; the service was seamless, and the photo opportunities endless. Our wedding at Waterton Park was truly magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us and our guests feel right at home. The venue itself was stunning, it’s a beautiful listed Manor House positioned on a beautiful lake with an abundance of picturesque locations. Our photographer, Megan at MM Photography, worked her magic and utilised all these opportunities, and our wedding photos are absolutely stunning. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. The team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, even accommodating some last-minute requests. We especially loved and appreciated the efforts Olivia, our wedding planner, put into the day and want to personally thank Emily for looking after us at the evening reception Overall, we highly recommend Waterton Park and Megan at MM Photography for your wedding – it was the perfect setting for our special day. We are still on cloud 9 just over a week later.

An absolutely amazing venue and day. Couldn’t have asked for more from start to finish. The setting inside and out is stunning. The day went so well, it was perfect. Our wedding day was the most perfect day that we could have asked for! Honestly, the process from start to finish was the most stress-free process as all the wedding coordinators kept in regular contact, and nothing was too much to ask for. On our wedding day, we knew everything was taken care of by Olivia, and everything that we had on paper became reality. We are grateful to all the staff involved, as we have created the most beautiful memories with all our guests, which will last forever!

Sean and I just wanted to say thank you so much for hosting our wedding. It was absolutely perfect, even the weather. When we started looking at venues, we weren’t really sure what we wanted. We ended up visiting Waterton and fell in love straight away. We started attending wedding fairs here and took our parents to have a look. We booked on our second visit. The location is just perfect. Pauline, Olivia and the rest of the team made the booking and planning so easy from start to finish. We got married here on 7th June 2025 and couldn’t have picked a better place to have our special day. Olivia was with us on the day and made us feel at ease, and we knew she had everything taken care of. We feel like we made some good friends here and will be visiting again!

The gluten-free meal was handled perfectly, and it was clear that the team took every precaution to ensure it was both safe and delicious. We also worked with the hotel’s in-house DJ, who went above and beyond by tailoring the music exactly to the playlist we provided. It created the perfect atmosphere for the evening and kept everyone on the dance floor! We stayed overnight in the Honeymoon Suite - waking up to the peaceful view over the lake was the perfect way to begin our married life. Brides and grooms, if you're looking for a venue to get married, I would definitely recommend Waterton Park Hotel. We got married on the 3rd of November 2024. And what an amazingly beautiful day we had. I stayed in the hotel the night before with my bridal party, and we were honestly so well looked after. The morning of the wedding was so relaxed. Breakfast was brought to our room while we were getting ready. Pauline the wedding coordinator is an absolute dream, an amazing lady. I sat back and relaxed while she took off all the pressure and nerves I had that morning, she came up to the room, and talked me through the timings and what would be happening. She collected me from my room when it was time to go to the ceremony and kept all the guests and everything in order. She was constantly communicating all the way through wedding planning beforehand. Anything I asked for she made happen. The hotel is beautiful, and the surrounding areas of the house are gorgeous for your wedding photographs. The food was delicious for our sit-down meal and evening buffet. All my guests commented on how beautiful the hotel was. The rooms were lovely and clean and very spacious. The breakfast the next morning was great. A lovely way to see all your guests that have stayed over the night of the wedding. I couldn’t honestly thank Pauline and the team enough for making my wedding day so special. I would 100 per cent recommend Waterton Park Hotel to anyone. The prices of the wedding packages are very good too and definitely worth every penny. My husband and I can’t wait to visit the hotel again and we will definitely be staying there on our anniversary as we enjoyed it so much and now feels so special to us.

Waterton Park is an absolutely stunning wedding venue. It was perfect for our special day! We first visited the venue in June 2024 after deciding we wanted to get married in the same year. The packages offered were exactly what we wanted and very comprehensive compared to other venues we looked at online. We were welcomed by Pauline and we discussed our ideas for our wedding. It was very relaxed and was very much about understanding what we wanted, supported by suggestions from Pauline on how we could get the most out of our day. We were then shown around the venue, and able to ask as many questions as required. The venue is even more magical in person and the rooms available for the ceremony and reception allow you the freedom of the venue rather than being confined to a single space. There was no pressure whatsoever to book the venue there and then and we were provided with further information a few days later, as promised. At this point, we had already decided this was our perfect venue. It was actually the only venue we visited. We were then guided through our next steps on how to secure the booking. Pauline and Olivia kept in touch with us throughout the entire process, right up to our wedding day. Everything was our choice and we made the decisions on what we wanted. When our wedding day arrived, everything was perfect and exactly as we had planned. Olivia was there on the day making sure we were where we needed to be at the time we needed to be there. She ensured everything ran smoothly and made us aware of who we needed to ask for during the evening reception if needed. She was on hand the morning after to say goodbye and was genuinely interested to hear about our wedding. The bridal suite was amazing, very modern, spacious and beautifully furnished. The food for the buffet was delicious and plenty for everyone. All dietary needs were accommodated. The DJ was brilliant, very entertaining and kept the vibe going until the end. We couldn't imagine getting married elsewhere!

We had a lovely day. Everything ran smoothly with no hiccups. Olivia was great and always informed us of what was happening well in advance so there was no stress. We couldn't have picked a better place to renew our vows, it is so picturesque and even the red carpet was out which was a great touch. We had aperitifs after the ceremony which were lovely and had numerous choices, and then a BBQ at night which was delicious. Everything was great and Waterton was brilliant in every way.

Our first impression of Waterton Park Hotel was that it is absolutely stunning and picturesque and after meeting Pauline Charlton, the wedding co-ordinator, we knew that we didn’t have to look at any other venue, because she sold it to us. Her personality, professionalism and knowledge helped us plan stress free through the process of organising our special day. Venue - beautiful location set in a nature reserve, with the island hotel on the lake as an ideal and fairy tale setting. Accommodation - we had 28 guests staying for the weekend and they were overwhelmed with their hotel rooms which they stated were sumptuous, spotless and spacious, with gorgeous outlooks onto the lake. Catering - our guests commented on the quality of the food served, the canapés, the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet. Staff: extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble, accommodating, professional and hard working. Our actual wedding day was planned down to exact timings by Pauline and her team. It worked superbly because they had everything arranged and set up ready for us to enjoy every single minute of the day, without having to stress about anything. We cannot praise the venue and staff enough as they made our guests and us so welcome and relaxed. We booked Waterton Park for our wedding after having previously walked past the venue on a country walk. From booking the actual date right through to the day itself, all the staff have gone above and beyond for us. They always provided prompt answers to the numerous questions and queries we had. On the day, we had a few guests with special dietary requirements, and these were all catered for, with all the guests providing positive feedback on their experience. The help from Pauline and Olivia, in particular, has been great, explaining all the processes every step of the way. The day ran better than we expected, we were lucky enough to get beaming sunshine throughout the day, which further enhanced the day meaning our guests could enjoy the outside areas. We did have entertainment from outside of Waterton Park for the day, and both the magic mirror company and the ice cream vendors were dealt with and accommodated in a thoroughly professional manner. The honeymoon suite was the cherry on top of the cake, it is absolutely stunning and waking up to the views of the lake was something else. We intend on returning next year to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.

We are from Australia, but I have many older family members in the UK who could not come over for the Australian wedding; hence, we decided to have a second UK wedding at Waterton Park Hotel. The staff were all very accommodating while organising and for the day itself. We couldn’t get to the UK before the booked date, so all the organising was done over email and Facetime. Everyone was very helpful with all of my family and my questions. We also had several dietary and drink requirements, which they were accommodating. The day was absolutely beautiful, the setting was stunning, the food was amazing, and the staff were just wonderful. Everything went better than we could have hoped for. Highly recommend!

So! We had our wonderful wedding at the Waterton Park Hotel. This is the most gorgeous venue you could imagine. We had guests from across the country, and they all remarked on how beautiful the venue was. We had our wedding on a sunny day and a beautiful evening. The rooms we stayed in were elegant and full of character. The boathouse where we spent our evening was so relaxing and unique. All of the staff at Waterton were so friendly and knowledgeable. My partner and I spent our wedding morning worrying about what would happen throughout the day. Still, we had someone to walk us through every step of the day, whether getting ready, registrars, photos, reception, or evening. The team are so much more than ‘staff’; they truly understand the needs of soon-to-be weds/newlyweds. Our family couldn’t stop commenting on how wonderful they were throughout. Just a massive thank you to everyone involved and if I could do it all again I wouldn’t change a thing ❤️

Overall the experience was excellent and stress-free. Pauline was helpful during the whole process, having all the answers, guidance, and suggestions, and made it all feel very easy! Communication was excellent. Pauline was clear on task deadlines and who needed to arrange it. Olivia showed us around initially and did a great job at answering any questions. The venue is excellent, and scenic, looking fantastic in the the day and at night when lit up. All the guests were impressed by the site and rooms. The day was stress-free. The staff were friendly, and helpful and knew what to do on the day. Pauline and the team always felt like they were nearby and available but never on top of you. The meal and evening food was excellent and accommodated for dietary needs. As the day progressed, we were introduced to different team leads for the meal and evening reception, so we knew who to talk to. We didn't though, they had it all under control. It was a case of turning up, handing over stuff to the staff at the reception, and then letting them handle it all. We had a 15:00 ceremony, so our morning was fairly relaxed, I just sat chilled and went for a swim. Staff throughout the day were friendly and helpful. We used their DJ and have no regrets. It removed the hassle of finding a band and they accommodated our music requests. Mixing pop, and techno with rock & heavy metal, did some shoutouts. Even opened like a Metallica gig, we asked for that! Everyone was happy with the quality. Waterton provided a recommended vendor list, which was excellent. The working relationship between Waterton and the vendors is a strong one. They were all helpful and provided preferential services, with some offering first refusal whilst enquiring/booking on dates. They all knew the site and were able to offer valuable insights and were able to deal directly with the venue for some of the arrangements, which took a lot of pressure off us. Matthew cannot praise and thank the staff at the Waterton enough for their support in making our wedding day amazing. From helping us to organize and guiding us throughout the day (Pauline), to bringing amazing food and serving us and all our guests with nothing but positivity (Emily and the servers), and finally Chris who was there every step through our evening reception. We had a day filled with tears and laughter and didn't have to worry once because of the support from the Waterton staff.
