We got married at Roger Manor on the 24th of February 2024, from the start the staff were amazing, especially Karen. On my first visit, I came with my sister and I immediately knew this was the place I wanted to get married. The venue is stunning inside and outside, and they offered everything we needed and more. Then I brought my husband-to-be (at the time) to see the venue, I knew he would fall in love with the place as much as I did. On that second visit I was still in love with the place and Karen never pressured me into booking, whereas at other places I felt pressured. We love how Rogerthorpe can accommodate both big and small weddings. We only wanted a small wedding, and we didn't want a massive room that would feel empty with just 30 people including myself and my husband. We were given two choices of room for the daytime and we loved them both. From the start no question was too silly, we booked the venue in June and got married the following February meaning we only had 7 months to plan. This wasn't a problem, any questions I asked were answered quickly and professionally. All the planning was made easier, by having Karen by our side. She gave us lots of advice from getting a photographer, to how to get a registrar and much more. Each time we went to the venue for a catch up she answered most of our questions before I even had time to ask them. This made me feel good as I knew she knew what she was doing. When you are planning a wedding it's nice to have that expert on hand and Karen is definitely an expert. On the day of the wedding, Karen rang me in the morning as I had stayed the night before with my mum, sister and daughters, to make sure I was ok. The room was massive and everything we needed to get ready the next morning including two dressing tables, which is much needed when there are five girls getting ready. Before people started to arrive, the wedding team set up the venue for me, which allowed me to go into the evening room to set up my cake and show my daughter where she could sit to play the guitar. A chair had been set up for her and once I and my husband were about to walk down the aisle Joe signalled to her, another thing I'm grateful for as my daughter was very nervous. When I was ready to get married, Karen came to my room to collect me, she could tell I was very overwhelmed and she helped me calm me down. (Thank you, Karen). After the ceremony, when me and my husband came out of the room Joe was waiting for us with a drink and I asked to swap mine for another drink. Joe had no problem with that and quickly sorted me out. Throughout the day of the wedding, Joe was amazing. Before the wedding breakfast he showed me and my husband the room to make sure we were happy with it. He then took us to another room so we could have five minutes together before the wedding breakfast (this five minutes was much needed together time). The wedding breakfast was amazing. We had so many choices. We had a very fussy guest who decided he didn't want anything on our menu but before the wedding, I told Karen about this and asked if we could change his meal for something else and that was no problem. Also on the subject of food, breakfast is great at the Jacobean pub attached to the venue, and the evening meal was enjoyed by all. Throughout the day Joe was there, we didn't have to think. We could enjoy ourselves, we couldn't have asked for anything else. Thank you Joe for that :) The room we stayed in for the night was beautiful it was on two floors, the ground floor had a dressing table with a little sitting area and even an outdoor spot. Behind this room, was the bedroom. Upstairs there was a free-standing bath, shower and toilet room. For our first anniversary, we will book this room, to remind us what an amazing day we had. While we were getting married, the team moved my things from the room I stayed in the night before into the room me and my husband would be staying in (this included my mum, sister and daughter's stuff), meaning I didn't have to think about moving my things before the wedding. I'm so glad we chose this venue, it was the best decision we made, and everything was perfect. We want to thank the wedding team and other staff members from the Rogerthorpe Manor for everything you were amazing. :)

The best in the industry, from our enquiry to our wedding day and beyond. They have a fabulous wedding team who made our wedding journey and day so perfect and seamless. Karen, Lee and the team feel like your friends and are so professional and A-class at their job. The venue, the ceremony, the grounds, the food, and the DJ included in our package were the best we could have wished for. The lead-up to the day was planned to perfection with Karen and nothing was too much trouble and she always made you feel at ease. Lee on the day as Master of Ceremonies was the icing on the cake and made the day run like clockwork. Although it was very laid back and easy - no stress allowed, only fun. The wedding breakfast and buffet were plentiful, hot and tasty. The grounds are well kept, and the ceremony room - you could feel the love in the room. The hotel and staff - perfect. Our guests commented it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to and how immaculate and lovely the hotel, grounds, rooms, food and staff were. We couldn’t have asked for any more or better. Somebody asked me afterwards if I could I have done anything differently - absolutely not and this is down to Rogerthorpe and the wedding team and staff being “Simply The Best”. Thanks again to Karen, Lee and the team and staff at Rogerthorpe for making our wedding day perfect.

From the start of viewing venues for our wedding after becoming engaged, we felt overwhelmed and unsure of what we wanted or could have. However, right from our very first meeting at Rogerthorpe Manor, we knew this was the place for us. They explained all their different packages and assured us that if we wanted something bespoke that wasn't included, they could accommodate it. Nothing was too much trouble. Even though we booked two years in advance, we were kept in regular contact throughout that time. We were invited to open days and taster evenings, and any queries I had were responded to in a timely manner. Karen had to endure many of my meltdowns and panicking moments, but she always managed to put me at ease and offered anything she could to alleviate the stress. In the last year, we had several meetings, and even after the final details meeting, I was able to make changes right up until the day before. The night before the big day, I stayed in the pamper suite and got ready there for the wedding. Karen was in contact first thing in the morning to ask how I was feeling, and if I needed anything, and insisted that she was on hand should I need anything. She handled all of our suppliers, allowing both the groom and me to focus on getting ready. From the ceremony to the reception, everything exceeded our expectations. The whole team, including Lee, couldn’t do enough for us, and all our guests were incredibly impressed with the service. It was a day none of us will ever forget. Every single guest commented on the venue, the beautiful gardens and surroundings, and the food, which was 10/10. Rogerthorpe Manor made our wedding dreams come true. We cannot praise the entire team enough, right down to the reception staff who helped with checking in.

Our experience of using Rogerthorpe Manor for our wedding has been second to none! Karen and the whole team have been amazing from the initial meeting up to and following the wedding. Nothing was too much for any of them, they were happy to answer any questions we had in a professional and timely manner. And, regardless of how many other weddings they had on and how busy they must have been, they made us feel like ours was the only wedding they had planned. We can not thank the team at Rogerthorpe enough for everything they have done to ensure we had the most amazing day possible. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the food and service was. Myself and my husband were recently married here and from the first visit, we instantly fell in love with the venue. The staff are superb and really know what they are doing. They cover the small and intricate details and cater for everything. It’s clear to see why they have won so many awards!! This was the perfect venue for us to have our special day, the team at Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel made what seemed a stressful day run so easy. We were well-informed throughout the planning. Karen and her team are the most professional team I have come across. Everything they did was to enhance our day and experience. We could not have wished for a better venue than Rogerthorpe Manor. We booked our wedding a year and a half in advance and were put at ease from the first meeting we had with the wedding coordinators. Nothing was too much. After several meetings everything we needed was in place and the wedding team was on hand if needed. The day of our wedding the wedding team dealt with my wedding reception. They made sure all was ready and a fabulous job was done which left me stress-free. The master of ceremonies Lee was fantastic and so was the food service. All in all the wedding team goes above and beyond and I would highly recommend anyone to have their wedding at Rogerthorpe. You certainly will not be disappointed, you get a five-star service. Once again the biggest of thank you’s to the wedding team for making our wedding day a little more special.

Well what can I say the grounds are stunning, the staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble. Karen and Lee we can not thank you enough. We got married at Rogerthorpe Manor on 1st September and it was absolutely amazing. From the first appointment, the wedding team were more than helpful. Karen kept me calm throughout the planning process and was always quick to respond. On the day I was blown away by how seamlessly it all came together and I was speechless when I saw the beautiful setup. I feel the team went above and beyond and it really is a beautiful venue. Well what can I say… the team at Rogerthorpe manor hotel have been amazing from the very moment we went to see the venue. The staff was so warm and friendly we had no doubt in our minds that this was the place we wanted to have our wedding, it’s absolutely stunning! Karen, Lee & Joe couldn’t do enough for us they should get wedding planners of the year! Everything was perfect, it’s a little overwhelming when planning a wedding but they pulled out all the stops to make sure we had a magical day, they were there every step of the way with their expert advice. The service we got was 1st class we can’t thank them enough, we had an outdoor ceremony which was something out of a fairytale book it was breathtakingly beautiful it truly is hidden gem I cannot recommend this place enough! Go check it out you will not be disappointed I promise you. Myself and my husband thank you again from the bottom of hearts.

We have just had our wedding at Rogerthorpe Manor, and the day could not have been any better. All the staff were excellent, and a special call out to Lee, Karen and Dylan. The venue was second to none, and from our first visit to view the place right through to our check out after the wedding, I can not fault anything. The food and service all day was great, and we were made to feel very special even though the whole team must do weddings a few times a week. Thanks to all at the hotel.

I had my wedding recently at Rogerthorpe, and I honestly couldn’t have been happier with how the day turned out. Everything was perfect, from the ceremony to the reception, and it couldn’t have been done without all of Rogerthorpe's staff, especially a big thank you to Karen Lee and Joe. We viewed and booked our wedding in August 2023 for a May 2024 wedding. Having had a couple of visits and discussions with our wedding planner, she left the business. This was not an issue for Karen and the rest of the wedding planning team, they stepped up and made us feel like they’d known us for a long time. Details were confirmed for our wedding so we knew we were in safe hands. We had several emails and correspondences with Karen as and when required by the guests and us. Fast forward to our wedding day. All of the staff at Rogerthorpe were more than accommodating to us and our guests, making all of our experiences at Rogerthorpe outstanding. Both suites were beautifully arranged, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day. The grounds, the buildings, the food, the DJ, and the staff in all departments were a credit to Rogerthorpe. I would have no qualms about recommending Rogerthorpe for any family occasion especially if you could be as lucky as we were with perfect weather and the Northern Lights. Just to say we had the most amazing wedding day at Rogerthorpe Manor Karen Joe and Lee were all on hand from the start of our booking and planning our wedding day. We had their support every step of the way the team was always on hand to address any questions we had about our day and were answered so efficiently we could not have asked for anything better from Karen and Lee. They were fantastic at making our special day and we could not have asked for anything better than the first-class service we received from them Lee and Karen always went above and beyond, to make our dream day come true. From the moment I booked our wedding at Rogerthorpe the team was amazing, always answering my emails and questions. On the day everything runs so smoothly. Our master of ceremonies was like he was part of our wedding he made our day so special and made everyone laugh throughout. What can I say, from the booking of the wedding 2 years ago at the Wedding Fayre to the big day 3 weeks ago the staff at Rogerthorpe Manor were fantastic. We want to say a huge thank you to the wedding team Karen, Kerry, Lee, and Joe for helping us plan our day to perfection it was everything and more and nothing was ever too much for them. Also, another MASSIVE thank you to Lee for being the BEST Master of Ceremonies anyone could ask for, everyone who attended loved him. All our guests said the food was absolutely beautiful from the wedding breakfast to the breakfast the next morning, it was all cooked to perfection. We both have major wedding blues at the moment after the most amazing day and all that wouldn't have been possible without all the amazing staff at Rogerthorpe Manor.
