Where do I begin? We attended a wedding a few years back at Rogerthorpe, and we knew instantly this would be our venue when the day arrived. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with such beautiful surroundings, very picturesque. The wedding Team were amazing from start to finish, incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. They did everything they possibly could to ensure our day was perfect, and it really was. We had a lot of friends and family stay who all commented on their rooms being clean and comfortable, also the whole team of staff there who were so welcoming and friendly. Our Bridal suite was fantastic, spacious and very clean. I would 100% recommend Rogerthorpe for any couple who is looking for a venue for their wedding. It really is just a magical place.

Mel at Passion Flowers Wedding & Event Florist's, you truly are the flower fairy. You created a stunning and dramatic look for the venue and for us, which we're sure will be talked about for years to come. Both rooms rocked and oozed dark romance, passion and love. Karen at Vintage Cake Fairy, you turned our jumbled dream and history into an incredible four-tier fantasy. And that show-stopper topper really was the icing on the cake. And that's before we got to the sensational flavours inside. The Wildcards, you kept the floor stomping and the fun and laughter flowing through the evening, even with the impromptu guest vocal. Finally, thank you to A D Photography for putting everyone in their places, your attention to detail and your patience in the chaos of the day. A big thank you to all the staff at Rodgerthorpe they were all amazing and made our day so perfect. We couldn’t have asked for any better, they were so attentive from the day we booked right through to the wedding day, the attention to detail was incredible. Karen was amazing at keeping us all calm and organising us all walking down the aisle, she was amazing and always contactable.

From the moment we booked, you supported us every step of the way. You answered every question (even our long list!), offered face-to-face meetings to go over the details, and always made us feel confident and cared for. On the big day, you were simply amazing. From greeting us at the venue, checking in with us in the bridal pamper suite, to collecting and setting up our wedding props with such care, everything was seamless. We also want to thank Mel at Passions Flowers for being our flower fairy alongside your team, we understand why you recommend these, the rooms looked absolutely stunning! Karen, you were so caring and reassuring throughout. Lee, you brought so much fun and energy as our fantastic host. Joe, thank you for your constant support and friendly smile. And Michelle, thank you for the little but oh-so-important moment of fluffing my dress just before I walked down the aisle. It meant the world. The grounds of the venue were absolutely beautiful, they provided the most perfect backdrop for our wedding photos, which turned out simply gorgeous. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better team or venue. A big shoutout as well to the chefs and service staff the food was delicious and we really appreciated their patience (and hot plates!) after our very long speeches! Thank you for the added touches to the pamper and bridal suites, including basket of sweets, disco ball & swan shaped towels with rose petals. Thank you for offering us the biggest suite, no.19, myself and my bridal party had a blast. To any future bride and groom considering Rogerthorpe Manor for their wedding, do not hesitate to book. This venue is absolutely stunning, beautiful inside out, we couldn't have chosen a better place to have our wedding, everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and wanted to make the day the best for you. If ever you had a question they would be there to help, however big or small! It was certainly the best day of our lives and can't thank Rogerthorpe enough, would highly recommend this venue, the surroundings, the inside of the building is just something else.

WOW! I have no words for how amazing the whole team is at Rogerthorpe, from the reception to the wedding team. Our wedding day was an absolute dream and planned to perfection thanks to the amazing Karen, Lee & Joe. We talked through our whole day and had Joe and Lee by our sides every step of the day to help in any way possible and we couldn't have done it without them. Our family and friends also commented on Lee's friendly nature and sense of humour. The venue does not disappoint and is absolutely PERFECT! Thank you so much to all of you, we cannot recommend Rogerthorpe enough! If I could give ten stars instead of five I certainly would.

Karen, Joe and Lee were brilliant! Karen put up with my constant emails and worrying. Joe was brilliant on the day ensuring we knew what we were doing, getting us drinks, even getting the bride some paracetamol! Lee, well he made sure the day ran smoothly, nothing went wrong, constantly talking to us making sure we knew what was happening. We can't thank Karen, Joe and Lee enough, they were all absolutely brilliant!

Karen and the team were absolutely amazing. I can't thank them enough for the help they gave us from planning the wedding to the big day. The wedding team are amazing… there is nothing that is ever too much for them to help with. During the planning stages, Karen was a god send. She has a wealth of knowledge and expertise. She was prompt in her email responses and we felt that she was truly invested in making our day special. On the wedding day, all of them were there on hand to make it special. The day went off without a hitch. The wedding team ensured we felt relaxed and had fun with our guests while they sorted out all the room changes. Michelle was a friendly and reassuring face to walk us through the day. Lee was a fabulous master of ceremony who kept our guests entertained and ensured the day stayed on track. We wish we could do it all again. We cannot thank them all enough and hope that they continue to do what they do well for many years to come!

In the initial planning stage, both Lee and Karen were informative and available for all of our questions. We had a few changes to the rooms being used and they were very accommodating when asked and helped us make a decision on which room to use. On the day itself, all staff were on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly and we were constantly being informed about what was going to be happening next so that we always knew where we needed to be. The food during our breakfast was phenomenal and all of our guests were very forthcoming in voicing their love for what they had eaten. Service during the breakfast was also great and everyone got exactly what they had asked for promptly (impressive when you consider we had about 10 guests who ordered steak with different cooking levels). After breakfast Lee was on hand again to inform anyone who was making a speech of the order of play and ensured that they all had an introduction on their way up to make a speech was a very nice touch. Overall, we couldn't recommend Rogethorpe enough. From the staff to the food and grounds, it really is a perfect venue to get married at and we will always have such beautiful memories of our day because of the work that was done by all involved.

All the staff at Rogerthorpe Manor were amazing! Everything, from going to look at the venue over and over again to the whole wedding day being absolutely perfect! Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. A massive thank you to Lee for making the day so memorable by doing more than enough to make sure it all went well. Thanks to Karen for being so organised and allowing us to change our minds so many times! It's a great venue with amazing photo opportunities around the grounds and we can hand on heart say it was an incredible day.

From the moment we met Karen at Rogerthorpe we knew she was very well versed in organising weddings. As the months progressed nearer to our wedding date Karen was so accommodating and always on hand to answer our questions and put our minds at rest if we weren’t sure about anything. On the day Lee and his team were amazing - they went out of their way to make sure our day was so very special and we couldn’t thank ALL the staff enough for the work they put into making our wedding day so wonderful. The stunning location is ideal for a wedding either inside or outside. A massive, massive thank you to Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel for hosting our wedding day on Saturday. It was just so perfect, and we had the most amazing day. Being a bit of a control freak, it was hard to let go of the reins, but we were in such good hands with Lee. Everything ran so smoothly, and everyone commented on how fabulous he was. Also, a big thank you to Karen and Michelle—both were so accommodating, and they made me feel much more relaxed about the day. I knew I was in good hands. Everyone who works at Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel is just brilliant, from the reception staff to the waitressing staff, bar staff, and cleaners. They all did such an amazing job and were all so, so lovely. We’re so sad that it’s all over—we just want to relive the day! We cannot thank Karen and her team enough for making our wedding everything we wanted it to be. From meeting Karen at our catch-up meeting to the big day, she was very helpful, and no matter how many emails I sent asking questions, she always responded and was willing to help wherever she could. On our wedding day, Joe was super helpful, ensuring that some of the photographs I wanted would be coordinated with our photographer. He also made sure I was happy with how the room looked, with all the nick-nacks provided for the tables! Lee was definitely one person who stood out on our wedding day! From meeting us after the ceremony to discuss the setup for breakfast and the singing waiter reveal, he put both of our minds at ease. He made sure that both Tom and I were okay during breakfast, and my parents also commented on how attentive he was throughout. Thank you to all the wedding team at Rogerthorpe Manor—you made our wedding everything we hoped for! xx

We got married at Roger Manor on the 24th of February 2024, from the start the staff were amazing, especially Karen. On my first visit, I came with my sister and I immediately knew this was the place I wanted to get married. The venue is stunning inside and outside, and they offered everything we needed and more. Then I brought my husband-to-be (at the time) to see the venue, I knew he would fall in love with the place as much as I did. On that second visit I was still in love with the place and Karen never pressured me into booking, whereas at other places I felt pressured. We love how Rogerthorpe can accommodate both big and small weddings. We only wanted a small wedding, and we didn't want a massive room that would feel empty with just 30 people including myself and my husband. We were given two choices of room for the daytime and we loved them both. From the start no question was too silly, we booked the venue in June and got married the following February meaning we only had 7 months to plan. This wasn't a problem, any questions I asked were answered quickly and professionally. All the planning was made easier, by having Karen by our side. She gave us lots of advice from getting a photographer, to how to get a registrar and much more. Each time we went to the venue for a catch up she answered most of our questions before I even had time to ask them. This made me feel good as I knew she knew what she was doing. When you are planning a wedding it's nice to have that expert on hand and Karen is definitely an expert. On the day of the wedding, Karen rang me in the morning as I had stayed the night before with my mum, sister and daughters, to make sure I was ok. The room was massive and everything we needed to get ready the next morning including two dressing tables, which is much needed when there are five girls getting ready. Before people started to arrive, the wedding team set up the venue for me, which allowed me to go into the evening room to set up my cake and show my daughter where she could sit to play the guitar. A chair had been set up for her and once I and my husband were about to walk down the aisle Joe signalled to her, another thing I'm grateful for as my daughter was very nervous. When I was ready to get married, Karen came to my room to collect me, she could tell I was very overwhelmed and she helped me calm me down. (Thank you, Karen). After the ceremony, when me and my husband came out of the room Joe was waiting for us with a drink and I asked to swap mine for another drink. Joe had no problem with that and quickly sorted me out. Throughout the day of the wedding, Joe was amazing. Before the wedding breakfast he showed me and my husband the room to make sure we were happy with it. He then took us to another room so we could have five minutes together before the wedding breakfast (this five minutes was much needed together time). The wedding breakfast was amazing. We had so many choices. We had a very fussy guest who decided he didn't want anything on our menu but before the wedding, I told Karen about this and asked if we could change his meal for something else and that was no problem. Also on the subject of food, breakfast is great at the Jacobean pub attached to the venue, and the evening meal was enjoyed by all. Throughout the day Joe was there, we didn't have to think. We could enjoy ourselves, we couldn't have asked for anything else. Thank you Joe for that :) The room we stayed in for the night was beautiful it was on two floors, the ground floor had a dressing table with a little sitting area and even an outdoor spot. Behind this room, was the bedroom. Upstairs there was a free-standing bath, shower and toilet room. For our first anniversary, we will book this room, to remind us what an amazing day we had. While we were getting married, the team moved my things from the room I stayed in the night before into the room me and my husband would be staying in (this included my mum, sister and daughter's stuff), meaning I didn't have to think about moving my things before the wedding. I'm so glad we chose this venue, it was the best decision we made, and everything was perfect. We want to thank the wedding team and other staff members from the Rogerthorpe Manor for everything you were amazing. :)
