It's hard to put into words just how outstanding Claire Concannon and the team are at Knockranny House Hotel & Spa. Organising a wedding is totally different to how the day will land and run, the difference usually comes down to the hotel and the staff. And they did not disappoint. Claire is an absolute expert in her field and Ben managing the floor on the night was amazing. I never thought our wedding would be so relaxed and the fact that every guest mirrored those feelings, I know it wasn't imagined. Knockranny House Hotel was our dream venue and they did not disappoint. Food was next level, and the evening at dinner and after was so well organised behind the scenes. All our guests continue to rave about the day and that is as great a testament as any. From the minute we had our first sit down about potentially getting married there way back in 2019, add in a pandemic, and then 4.5 years later we get our day, the team have been understanding; patient and so professional. They get 6 out of 5 stars for us and can't recommend them highly enough.

We had our wedding at Knockranny House Hotel on the 5th of October 2024 and we can’t say enough good things about the venue and staff especially our wedding coordinator Claire. From the moment we stepped inside Knockranny House Hotel, it was clear to us that it was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. We wanted a venue that was warm and welcoming and that could accommodate a smaller wedding, which made Knockranny the ideal option for us. A special shout-out for the Round Room, which is the most stunning room for a small ceremony, with amazing views of the surrounding landscape. All the staff are so friendly, courteous and helpful. Never have I been to a hotel where every single member of staff has been so warm and friendly. So many of our guests praised the staff, the food and the luxurious rooms and have plans to return to avail of the lovely atmosphere and amenities. Claire's experience as a wedding coordinator really shone through and put us at ease. She met all our requests with enthusiasm and was so confident and efficient, guiding us through every step of the process. From the first time we saw Knockranny House Hotel, its beauty spoke for itself. As a venue, we have always considered it for our wedding. The decision, however, became certain from the first time we met with our wedding planner, Claire. Claire’s knowledge, professionalism, work ethic and calmness are second to none. We knew no matter what could happen, we were in the safest of hands. There was never a request to big or too small, Claire was always at the end of the phone to speak to us. When we walked through the doors on the day of the wedding everything we had planned and discussed was laid out exactly as we had asked. First of all we have to say thank you so much for delivering the best day! Claire was so welcoming and knowledgable from the time we first visited, to the payment of the final bill. Claire kept us up to date with any changes or requests leading up to our big day. Every element of the wedding day was attended to, from the order of the speeches to the entrance music for my Wife and me to be introduced to our guests. We knew Knockranny makes fantastic food, and it didn’t disappoint! The tasting itself gave us such a wide array of dishes to choose from, which only made making our final choices more difficult. Everything on the day ran on time and without any hiccups, which is exactly what is needed on your wedding day. The rooms were fantastic, especially the bridal suite!

They made organising a wedding stress-free - any questions we had they had an answer for. The meal was delicious and served at the times promised, allowing our night to run smoothly. We had people with dietary requirements and they were so well catered for, as were the children in the bridal party. What a day! We got married here in August of 2023 and it was the best day of our lives. From the start, Claire was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We had our Christmas wedding reception in Knockranny house hotel. It was just amazing from start to finish Anna & Claire were just incredible. They couldn't have done more for us, we were so happy with our wedding menu. The food was 10/10, all our guests were just blown away by how good the food and the service was. Everything about our wedding day was exceptional! Claire and Anna were both amazing to deal with. We planned our wedding from abroad in Australia so most of our contact was done via email. Put quite simply the Knockranny allowed us to have a wedding more perfect than we could have dreamed. From the moment we first walked in to view the venue, to the meal tasting , preparing the smallest of details in the room and of course the day itself we were made to feel so special and like the staff would do anything to make our day that extra bit special. I have never been to a venue where every single member of staff is so friendly, accomodating and helpful. Everyone during the build up, on the day and the days after seemed so genuinely happy for us and this added to how perfect our wedding was. The general food service, speed and quality was better than we could have hoped. The venue looked so beautiful and everyone was so accomodating considering we had a lot of our own individual requests. When me and Natalie arrived at the Knockranny after our church service and drove up to see the red carpet, all of the staff lined to clap us in and toast our new marriage with a glass of champagne it was truly one of the most special moments of the best day of our lives. It would have not been possible without Claire & Anna. In my speech I said that they had both made us feel like we were the only wedding they had ever planned and this is the best compliment I could pay. No task was too big and no favour was too far. You did everything we asked and more and we will be forever grateful for how special you made our day. You are both absoloute super heroes and I don't know how you both did it but we are both so thankful and stuggle to find the words to explain just how grateful we are. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for everything you did and we can both quite safely reccomend the Knockranny as the most beautiful and magical venues you could hope to get married in.

When my husband and I got engaged we knew there was only one place we wanted to have our wedding reception….Knockranny House Hotel. We had attended a number of family weddings there previously and were always so impressed with the venue, its views, location, food and mostly their wonderful staff. We came into the process with high expectations and we were not disappointed. We would like to particularly mention their dedicated wedding coordinator Clare, who went above and beyond for us and is one of the most efficient, accommodating people I have ever met. From our first viewing of the venue to our recent return for our first anniversary, we were looked after to the highest of standards. The planning process was made stress-free and was very well organised which put us at ease. The food was exquisite, our guests were highly impressed with the menu on the day. Every aspect of our wedding day was seamless and allowed us to really enjoy every moment and for that, we are extremely grateful. I couldn’t recommend Knockranny highly enough.
