We recently got married in Knockranny House hotel in December 2025 and it was magical. Knockranny was the first venue we viewed when we began our journey researching venues and nothing else compared to it for us. Claire is everything you could want and need in a wedding coordinator. We felt that no ask was too big and we would have nothing to worry about as she would take care of it. Everyone commented on how fabulous the venue was for a Christmas wedding. It was decorated beautifully and had a real magical feel throughout the hotel for the festive period. The function room was spacious and allowed our guests to feel comfortable at their tables. This gave our guests the opportunity to mingle and have comfort dancing on the dance floor. I would recommend Knockranny House Hotel to other brides and grooms throughout the west. We loved it!

We had our wedding at Knockranny House Hotel and we honestly could not have asked for a better venue. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. A special mention has to go to Claire, the wedding coordinator, who was absolutely excellent. She was professional, organised, calm, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. Nothing was too much trouble, and her attention to detail made the whole day run perfectly and completely stress-free. The function room was decorated immaculately, the setup, styling, and overall atmosphere were stunning. The room looked incredible and far exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was outstanding and truly made the day feel special. The food was excellent, receiving so many compliments from our guests, and the staff were outstanding, friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day. The cleanliness of the hotel was also exceptional, with every area maintained to the highest standard. Our rooms were very good, comfortable, and beautifully presented. Overall, Knockranny House Hotel delivered an unforgettable wedding experience. We are so grateful to the entire team and couldn’t recommend it highly enough to any couple considering it for their wedding day.

Claire & Staff, From working in Knockranny all those years ago (2014-2016), while I was in school & college, even back then, I dreamed of getting married at Knockranny. When myself & Hugh met with Claire in February 2024 after getting engaged, we knew we were in the right, safe hands with her looking after us. We got married in October at Knockranny House Hotel and couldn't be happier that we chose it as our venue. From day 1, Claire and the KHH team were incredible. In what can be a very stressful lead-up with planning, Claire was an absolute godsend. After our first viewing, we mentioned one or two things we were specifically looking for, and we received a quick response giving different options so that we could make sure the day ran exactly how we wanted it to. When we started the planning process, we were living abroad, but we always felt like everything was under control. Claire was easy to contact and regularly touched base with us. Any time we met or spoke with Claire, we came away feeling so clear and organised. Nothing was too much trouble and there was no such thing as a silly question (although at times I'm sure we definitely tested this!). She was quick to respond to any of our queries with detailed answers and updates. This warmth and generosity extended to the whole team in KHH, from the staff at reception, the bar staff, the wait staff and porters; they could not have been more helpful to both us and our guests - guests even commented on the warmth they received when they called to book rooms. The whole KHH experience is such a testament to the owners, Adrian and Geraldine. The day went better than we could have ever imagined. One of the reasons we initially viewed KHH was that we had heard amazing things about the food - and it did not disappoint! Our guests were so well fed and catered for. Our guests have all commented about the service they received - specifically those who made any special or additional requests - in the thick of a large and busy wedding, nothing was too much! Also, a special mention for the Penthouse Suite with the most incredible views over Croagh Patrick, where we managed to get absolutely stunning photos on quite a windy (and not so dry) Irish day! We would highly recommend KHH to any couple getting married.

An incredible venue that went above and beyond. Claire was so helpful throughout the entire planning period, especially in the last two weeks when we had a million questions! She was so facilitating, always had great suggestions and ideas and was a pleasure to deal with. Knockranny was a fabulous venue and we couldn’t recommend all the staff enough, they truly made the day feel so seamless for us and took the thought out of everything. Guests have been raving about the food post-wedding, and our pre-wedding tasting was brilliant. We had an extended stay pre- and post-wedding and were treated like royalty throughout. The penthouse was gorgeous, and the views of Croagh Patrick on a clear day make for the most amazing photos! Highly recommend Knockranny for anyone considering it.

From start to finish, the whole booking process with Knockranny was so easy. Claire was available to us night and day for any questions or queries. When the big day finally came, the entire hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too big an ask. The food was amazing, from the food tasting to the five courses we had on the day. The hotel itself and the grounds are stunning. Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing; I'd do it all over again with Knockranny. They made it that enjoyable for us.

What couldn't simply say enough about Knockranny Hotel, in particular Claire but all of the staff were amazing, nothing was an issue from beginning to finish. We had our Wedding day here on Valentine's Day. From the minute we met Claire we knew Knockranny was going to be our wedding venue. We knew we were in good hands. She was so professional and knows exactly what she's doing. We had the best weekend from start to finish the day couldn't have gone any better. The rooms, comfortable beds, the staff, the food, the lovely in house babysitter that came in to mind our kids, we honestly couldn't fault anything. We booked Knockranny for our wedding because we wanted a comfortable hotel with a good reputation for food, accommodation and service. We also wanted a location that guests would find easy to get to, and would enjoy a weekend in, hence Westport. From our first meeting with Claire we knew we were in good hands. Claire and her team made the planning/ arrangements as easy as possible for us. We had the ceremony and reception on-site and many guests stayed in the hotel. Our bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. The function room was beautifully set up and the food was excellent. All of the staff we encountered were lovely. The day ran smoothly and we know that requires a lot of work behind the scenes. We are so pleased that we chose Knockranny and can highly recommend it.

It's hard to put into words just how outstanding Claire Concannon and the team are at Knockranny House Hotel & Spa. Organising a wedding is totally different to how the day will land and run, the difference usually comes down to the hotel and the staff. And they did not disappoint. Claire is an absolute expert in her field and Ben managing the floor on the night was amazing. I never thought our wedding would be so relaxed and the fact that every guest mirrored those feelings, I know it wasn't imagined. Knockranny House Hotel was our dream venue and they did not disappoint. Food was next level, and the evening at dinner and after was so well organised behind the scenes. All our guests continue to rave about the day and that is as great a testament as any. From the minute we had our first sit down about potentially getting married there way back in 2019, add in a pandemic, and then 4.5 years later we get our day, the team have been understanding; patient and so professional. They get 6 out of 5 stars for us and can't recommend them highly enough.

From the moment we stepped inside Knockranny House Hotel, it was clear to us that it was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. We wanted a venue that was warm and welcoming and that could accommodate a smaller wedding, which made Knockranny the ideal option for us. A special shout-out for the Round Room, which is the most stunning room for a small ceremony, with amazing views of the surrounding landscape. All the staff are so friendly, courteous and helpful. Never have I been to a hotel where every single member of staff has been so warm and friendly. So many of our guests praised the staff, the food and the luxurious rooms and have plans to return to avail of the lovely atmosphere and amenities. Claire's experience as a wedding coordinator really shone through and put us at ease. She met all our requests with enthusiasm and was so confident and efficient, guiding us through every step of the process.
