The hotel was amazing, helping with everything we needed. They helped with putting decorations out, moving a guest to a different table for me and anything I would need. I couldn't thank them enough on the day. They were just wonderful. Everyone was so kind and understanding. They even helped when one of my guest had a little too much to drink and hurt herself. Overall Best Western Ipswich Hotel is amazing!

We would just like to say big thank you to Kate and her excellent staff for the wonderful wedding reception we had on Saturday at Best Western Ipswich. Everything went well, from time Kate greeted us at the entrance to the time we left. The meal was delicious. We enjoyed the food very much. The garden room was wonderfully decorated and set up well for the reception. It was lovely, people could step outside of the room into the garden outside to have drinks, take photos, play garden games and use the bouncy castle we hired. We would definitely recommend everybody to have a wedding reception here, as we had fantastic time at Best Western Ipswich Hotel. Many thanks again for a superb wedding reception. -Helen and Dominic

Perfect venue for our perfect day. My wife and I visited several different venues, but the Ipswich Hotel was so obviously perfect for us. The hotel itself is lovely and we found the staff to be very helpful. We used the Suffolk Suite which is huge and has ample car parking. The hotel is easy to access and was perfectly located for us. One of the real winning points for us was the food, and all of our guests agreed. The quality was magnificent and the portions very generous. There is a beautiful, large garden area out the back to take all the photo's in. We also stayed at the hotel in the super bridal suite which was huge, and had a very large en suite bathroom. All of our guests that stayed at the hotel were just as impressed with their rooms, which they got at a discounted price for attending our wedding. We would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about tying the knot.

Lovely place to have a wedding, ceremony room, reception room and garden were all set up beautifully. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was lovely. The only downside were the hotel rooms. Our wedding party booked at least 10 rooms, some said they were good, others said they were dated and tatty. If you get one of the refurbished ones you're alright.

We had looked at many wedding venues prior to choosing The Best Western Ipswich. The hotel is lovely and Gemma the wedding coordinator has been fantastic throughout the planning and on the day, she is always available on the phone or to have a meeting to discuss the plans and has been extremely helpful throughout. We had a lot of family and friends staying over 1 or 2 days and Sharon in reception who again is lovely was very accommodating and helpful in bookings and queries. On the day of our wedding, both rooms looked beautiful and all the staff where fantastic, polite and eager to help when needed and we couldn't have asked for a better team of people to help our day run smoothly. The only downside was the day had to end and even though the honeymoon suite is a lovely sized room it was a little dated and could have done with a little special something for the Bride and Groom. Overall our wedding day was fab and a lot of that was down to Gemma, Sharon and the team at Ipswich we can't thank you enough for everything and would definitely recommend this hotel for a wedding venue. Had the most amazing day at the hotel . Our wedding was perfect from start to finish. Gemma and the team were very helpful in making sure it was all how we wanted it to be. An added bonus was the other guests on the day with their amazing super sports cars and allowing me to have a ride in one of the Lamborghini's . A very special day all round . Thank you x

Well what can i say, we had an amazing weekend. From the moment we decided to use the Best Western Ipswich the wedding planning became ten times easier. The advice that was given and the organisational skills of the staff teams were fantastic. The support we both received on the day was much appreciated and the food was first class. The whole weekend from the friday (prep day) to the Sunday (morning after the Wedding) we were really looked after. It was the best way to enter into married life. We would both like to thank everyone at the hotel for making our Wedding day perfect!

I can thoroughly recommend The Ipswich Hotel for a wedding venue. We had our ceremony there and a sit down meal and evening reception with a band and disco. Everything was organised so well on the day and ran completely smoothly,we didn't have to worry about anything. The food was top quality and the service.Beforehand we went for a trial meal where we got to try ten different dishes,along with a complimentary bottle of wine. From the day of booking our wedding date,the communication from Gemma the wedding coordinator was fantastic.She gave so much advice and ideas and really made us feel relaxed and stress free about the day beforehand and on the day.She went over and above what you would expect from somebody. We were very impressed with everything and honestly didn't have one complaint. We also stayed the night in the hotel with breakfast the following morning which was lovely.They are in the process of doing up some of the bedrooms,so will be even nicer once they are all finished. So many of our guests commented on what a lovely venue it was and how great the food was for the sit down meal and the evening buffet.Even one of my friends who always without fail,finds fault with meals out,she said her meal was excellent! We looked at a couple of venues before the Ipswich hotel but what attracted us to this one was the lovely room where the reception is held,its big,light and leads out onto the garden.Also the ceremony room was a lovely light airy room. You won't regret booking this hotel for your special day. All the staff were so helpful and friendly but Gemma was especially amazing and made for the job.
