We had our wedding reception at The Castlecourt Hotel in Westport. From the first day we went to view the venue until our wedding day we can give nothing but praise to the coordinators, owners and venue. We met Rhona the first day and told her what our aim was for our wedding day and booked the venue there and then. They were so accommodating and had lots of helpful suggestions for us for the theme of our wedding. We worked with Rhona on our menu tasting and it was a wonderful experience and made us excited to finalise the menu for our wedding day. We met and worked with Liz to plan how our wedding day would run. As dancing was the theme of our wedding we had three social bands play and wanted to ensure dancing would start early in the evening. We were able to plan when our evening break was going to be and I was able to request how I wanted our cake set up. On our wedding day, we were met by Vinnie and Jamie. They whisked us away to set up our wedding cake. The dinner went off so smoothly. Everyone got fed quickly and the feedback from our guests on the food was fantastic. The arrival reception had food, tea/coffee, and mocktails. There was a wonderful selection of sandwiches, chips and chicken goujons as well as our wedding cake with tea and coffee. I think the highlight of the evening for a lot of people was the bacon sandwiches at 2:30 am after all the music ended and before the sessions started. Everyone was impressed with the food and nobody went hungry. We would highly recommend The Castlecourt for any events. All the staff and service were outstanding, if we could do it all again we would. Best day of our lives.

First off, we'd like to extend our thanks to Vinny, Liz, Jamie and all the team at the Castlecourt Hotel. Since the beginning of the wedding preparations, the team have been there to support us in any way possible. On the morning of the wedding, they gave us access to a function room as we had a large party of 12 to get ready for the day ahead. Before we could ask for anything, they had it presented to us. It really made us feel extremely relaxed as they were able to anticipate our needs before we did. All of the wedding party couldn't help but be in awe of the work and the professionalism that the team had. On the day, we had many guests coming up to us expressing their delight and enjoyment they were having at the wedding, insofar as they were planning to book the hotel for their wedding. We had a ceremony, drinks reception and dinner in the venue, and the set up and quick turnaround were impeccable. The team could not do enough for us. Everyone was mesmerised by the setup of the civil ceremony and the ease with which the team were able to direct everyone. It was extremely warming to see the owners, Joe and Ann, among the staff and helping during the dinner. The food was magnificent, and the service was 10 out of 10. Each course was served promptly, even with the addition of entertainment throughout dinner. The team at the Castlecourt are the best that we could have asked for, and we would recommend them to anyone looking to book a venue for their upcoming nuptials. What superlatives can I use about the Castlecourt Hotel that would do it justice? Our experience with them was first class from start to finish. The team are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. They respond to your queries very promptly and find a solution quickly. The team are long-standing professionals who know the wedding business inside out, and we found their advice invaluable. A special mention for Rhona, who was our main coordinator and gave us great tips for vendors in the area when we were booking. The food at the meal was superb. We had the lamb shank and the cod, and our guests, who have many weddings under their belts, felt it was the best meal they ever had at a wedding. In fact, we are still getting texts about the quality of the food. We also had a pre-wedding dinner and spent our day two event there. Those meals were also outstanding. The venue itself is very nice 4-star plus, with lots of areas to take lovely pictures. Both the rooms we used were beautifully decorated with large candelabras and flower arrangements, and were part of the package. The Castlecourt is probably the best venue in the Castlebar or Westport area, and dare I suggest in the whole of Mayo. It certainly was the best value for money. I would highly recommend any potential bride and groom to check them out before booking anywhere else. Amazing!

The Castlecourt Hotel made our wedding day perfect, stress-free, and memorable for us and all our guests. The wedding organiser, Vennie, thought of everything, arranged lots of things we wouldn't have thought of that added to our special day. The hotel has hosted wedding couples for over 50 years, and now the ceremony can also take place on-site. We had over 250 guests at our ceremony and there was ample space for everyone. From the first meeting to the days around our wedding the team were professional and made us feel that we were all that mattered over the wedding weekend.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Vinny and his team. It didn't matter what our request was, Vinny was open to all suggestions and gave great advice from the first day we met him. Overall, the experience was fantastic, Vinny took all the stress away, and we got to really enjoy the lead-up to the day. The Castlecourt team are experts at weddings, and anyone that has got married in the hotel would agree. The food was amazing, the team of staff are so professional and pleasant to work with. We recently celebrated our wedding at The Castlecourt Hotel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we viewed the hotel and booked our wedding date, Vinny, Liz, Rhona, Jamie and the staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The detail and personalised service they provide made us feel incredibly special as if they were just as invested in our big day as we were. No request was too big or too small, and I'm sure by the end of it Vinny had heard enough questions for me! But nothing was ever an issue and they genuinely couldn't do enough for us, it was fantastic! The entire team was attentive, warm, and professional, ensuring that every request was handled with care. The venue itself was stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and reception, having the cocktail reception outdoors was a fabulous addition and having the option of drinks from beers, to prosecco to cocktails was something which our guests loved and continued to comment on. The food and dinner service were both fast, efficient and absolutely beautiful, with very generous portion sizes. Finally, I have to comment on their package options and pricing, it was more than reasonable for the amount of things you get included in your package and I loved how you have the option to pick and choose what you need. From the moment we stepped inside the doors of The Castlecourt Hotel for a viewing we knew it was the venue for us. The kindness and professionalism of all the staff was fantastic. They made the build-up to the wedding so easy and our wedding day was perfect in every way. We will treasure the memories we made at The Castlecourt Hotel forever.

The Castlecourt Hotel is absolutely incredible! They will go above and beyond to ensure your entire wedding experience is exceptional. The Corcorans, Vinny, Rhona, Liz, Jamie and the entire hotel staff are absolutely wonderful and we cannot thank them enough for such an incredible wedding weekend. We started the planning process from Boston, which was extremely daunting but once we decided on The Castlecourt we knew we were in the best hands. They worked around the time difference, video-called with us, and any time we came over for a visit they made time to meet with us to go over details. Vinny, Liz and Rhona are top-notch from start to finish. They put us at ease, answered any questions or concerns we had, and handled every request like the pros they are. There was never a request that was too big or small for the team, and they ensured the day went off flawlessly. Because of how incredible they are, we were worry-free on the day and were able to really enjoy time with our friends and family. We had a large American group who stayed at the hotel for the weekend, and The Castlecourt was able to accommodate a rehearsal dinner and welcome reception the night before the wedding which was such an added bonus. The staff in the hotel was so friendly and accommodating with our guests which just added to the experience. We have gotten so many compliments about the food, the accommodations, and of course the staff that we were so pleased with our choice of venue. You will hear it all over Westport - The Castlecourt knows how to do weddings, and that is so unbelievably true. We would choose them over and over again and we can't wait to come back to stay!

The Castlecourt Hotel was the first hotel we approached in relation to our wedding. We didn't need to visit any other hotels after this visit! We met with Liz on day one, and she was exceptional to deal with, so helpful and detailed in what the Castlecourt Hotel had to offer for our big day. Once our date was confirmed with the hotel, we never had any concerns or issues at all. Every time we contacted the hotel we were satisfied with the service. Over several months, along with Liz, we also dealt with Vincent and Rhona. Again, I could only describe the attention to detail from all staff as exceptional. On the day of our wedding, everything ran so smoothly. Staff at every area in the hotel were so helpful and could not do enough for us and our guests. The delivery of meals to our guests was so quick and efficient that everyone was dining at the same time. There was no delay between tables whether you sat at the top table or the bottom of the room. We can honestly say we had no stress or concerns with the hotel throughout the whole build-up to the wedding. We can never thank Vincent, Liz and Rhona enough for all they did for us to contribute to the best day of our lives. It's an extremely well-run hotel, and we highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed with the Castlecourt Hotel!

There aren’t enough words to sum up our experience of celebrating our wedding day at the Castlecourt Hotel, Westport. From the weeks leading up to our special day to the day itself, there was no job that was too big and no task that required too much effort. Vincent, Liz, Rhona and the whole team made the day flow seamlessly. The food was incredible, and the service was unbelievable. We had compliments from our guests, saying everything flowed so well, from the drinks reception, the meal, speeches, and the band to the lovely bacon butties at 2 am. We weren’t sure what to expect from day two as it can be tricky getting the party going again, but it exceeded expectations with a beautiful BBQ and live music in the Castlecourts Late Night Venue. A family-run business that made sure every one of our guests was well looked after - an unforgettable weekend. We could not rate them any higher, and hearing our friends and family talking about it weeks later says it all. Our only regret is we can’t do it all over again.

From the first day we made contact with the wedding team in the Castlecourt hotel they were an absolute dream to deal with. They made organising our big day so easy and so stress-free! Vinny was always only a phone call away for any queries we had. We found him absolutely fantastic to deal with from start to finish, so helpful, even helping us pick our entry songs as we couldn’t decide. We couldn’t recommend them enough for your big day, they treat every couple with so much time and dedication it is absolutely fantastic to see. We got married at short notice due to an illness. Vincent from the get-go was just amazing. He took every bit of stress and worry right off our shoulders. Nothing was too big or too small and he was so understanding. He listened to what we wanted as it was a small intimate wedding and it couldn't have gone any better. The staff on the day were also fantastic and there isn't one thing I would change about the day.

My husband and I are from the States but decided to get married in Westport where all his family are from. You would think planning a wedding abroad would have a lot of difficulties but The Castlecourt Hotel could not have made our experience any easier! I would do it all over again if I could. Great service, great food, and an amazing time!

From the moment we first called Vinnie about booking our wedding to the morning after checking out of The Castlecourt Hotel, nothing was too much. Everything really was just perfect. They were all so helpful with any request from room reservations for guests to menu tasting. On the day itself, there is nothing I can fault. The attenrion to detail was top class. Vinnie even sent me a picture of our crisp wall before we arrived as i was dying to see it all set up. The pre dinner reception was amazing. Everything looked perfect. The meal was above 5*(as it always is) . The honeymoon suite was beautiful with fab personalised gifts. There was a very big event the same weekend as our wedding based at the hotel,and you honestly wouldn't have known. It did not take from our day in any way.

Our wedding day was a dream come true and that was all down to the staff in the Castlecourt Hotel. We had 305 attending our wedding and our food all came out at the same time piping hot. Everyone still talks about the amazing food and service. A special thanks to Vinnie who stuck to his word of having all 305 of us seated at 5.30. The staff in all areas are extremely friendly and always wanted to make sure everyone was happy. The new renovations make it such a fabulous venue to get married. I wouldn’t change a thing about our day and that’s because the Castlecourt Hotel made our day so amazing!

We had our wedding reception in The Castlecourt Hotel on the 27th July 2023. From start to finish, Vinny and all the staff in The Castlecourt Hotel were a pleasure to deal with. Vinny made all the planning feel so easy. He was extremely helpful and contactable whenever we needed him, even on his days off he answered the phone!! He planned our day out from start to finish and if we needed anything, it was never a problem. He is an absolute credit to the Castlecourt Hotel. It was our 5th family wedding here so we knew we wanted Vinny as our wedding coordinator and The Castlecourt as our wedding venue. As the saying goes- "You cannot beat the Castlecourt for a wedding!!" We had our meal tastings in June. The food was delicious, we had so much food to eat. Whatever we wanted to taste, we got the full dish of it, so I would recommend to bring family or friends with you for this as The Castlecourt Hotel are very generous. The venue itself was fabulousy decorated, we had nothing to worry about and didn't need to buy any extras. We had nibbles at reception, which were devoured along with prosecco, bottles of beer and a keg of Guinness, which of course everyone loved. The dinner was amazing from start to finish. We opted for the potted salmon and vol au vants for starters, followed by veg soup and sirloin of beef, turkey and ham, hake and veggie curry for the mains as well as apple pie and toblerone cheesecake for dessert. Would highly recommend the toblerone cheesecake! Yum!! Everyone was offered a second round of mains, which we were delighted with as everyone was well catered for. We also had more finger food around 11pm and bacon butties & chips at 2.30/3a.m., which went down a treat!! I could not recommend Vinny and The Castlecourt Hotel enough! You will not regret having your wedding venue here. We had the most amazing day from start to finish, everything ran so smoothly! Thank you all so much!

We got married at the Castlecourt in August 2023. Vinnie, Rhona, Liz, Joe, Anne and everyone at Castlecourt were exceptional. We felt very welcomed from the first day we came to look around, everyone was attentive, supportive, friendly and nothing was too much- everything was dealt with so professionally and with a smile. Food was fantastic, the options were brilliant, and everyone was very well fed. We had a lot of guests travelling from abroad, many of whom stayed at Castlecourt for three nights. All guests only had great things to say- rooms are lovely, excellent facilities, and all staff wonderful. We had a welcome drinks function the night before, and a barbeque the next day- both of these events were so well prepared and catered for, and great fun was had by all- we have Castlecourt to thank for this. The Castlecourt Hotel and all staff were absolutely superb on our Wedding Day and exceeded all expectations. Everything ran smoothly, together with our guests we had a truly memorable time, we could not recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much Castlecourt!

We got married in the Castlecourt Hotel on the 22nd of September 2023, from the start when we were welcomed by Vincent to when he saw us off on the day after our wedding, we were treated like royalty, every member of staff and management could not do enough for us. Vincent was so helpful and listened to us and very kindly advised us on every aspect of the process and preparation for our big day. He had all of our questions answered before we could ask them. His professionalism and personality relaxed us and gave us the confidence that this gentleman will deliver an amazing day for us, and he did. One gentleman who was setting up the function for another wedding was so helpful when we just went in to have a look at the function room, he told us they could organise a ramp to the top table for us if we wanted. Little things like that from all of the staff ensured we were going to have a great day. The hotel also offered great value for money. The price quoted on our first meeting included everything we wanted and more. There were no hidden extras. Everything was up front and transparent. Our guests loved the day and raved about the hotel. Some could not get over the food and the selection offered by the hotel, it was lovely to hear the morning after the wedding as we knew that all of our guests enjoyed themselves. The service for the dinner was fast and the table at the back of the function room had their meal within two minutes of the top table and there was no shortage of food! Everything we asked for and some things we didn’t even think of were all looked after without any fuss. The memory box Vincent handed us the morning after the wedding was the cherry on top. It was such a lovely surprise. It was so nice and means so much to us. We never felt like we were just another wedding, we felt like we were their only wedding, and they were giving us 110% all of the time. We cannot recommend the Castlecourt Hotel enough for a wedding. 5 stars in every aspect of what they do.

We couldn’t be more grateful to the Castlecourt Hotel and all their staff, especially Anne, Joe, Anna Maria and Vinny for going so above and beyond to make our day so special and memorable. It is a fantastic wedding venue and I’d highly recommend the Castlecourt to any couples looking to get married in the west of Ireland. Our guests are still raving about the food, we had quite a big wedding of over 300 guests and the standard of food and service blew us away. The Castlecourt really have weddings down to a fine art, Vinny was incredibly accommodating and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. No stone was left unturned and it is thanks to them we had the best weekend we could have possibly imagined. We also had our day 2 in the Castlecourt and similarly to the wedding day, the food and service was outstanding.
