We can only say Amazing! Mary and her team were amazing to work with from the first time we reached out to view the venue to weeks after we had our wedding there. We had our wedding ceremony and our reception in Broadhaven Bay Hotel, as we felt it was just us in every way. We felt that they really cared for us and what we wanted for our big day. Mary talked through everything with us making us feel excited and made sure to listen to our needs on the day. They came through on everything and more. Broadhaven is the perfect place to get married, the food was to everyone's taste, the quantity even better, the venue room was beautifully done by the team and they even rearranged the table plans last minute to suit our needs. The staff worked so well together, the day went faultless. Every guest couldn't stop talking about how brilliant the day and night went which was all down to the staff. We couldn't recommend Mary and the team more. We were given one of the best days of our lives in the Broadhaven. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we won't forget it ever.

We got married in August and from start to finish, they could not do enough. We originally spoke to Keith when we booked, and then Mary took over our booking. It was very easy to get in contact and get a response anytime we needed to. Mary was very helpful in finding other wedding suppliers such as singers and wedding decor. Nothing was too much trouble, anything we asked for we got, she organised the flowers for our mothers for us as we didn’t know any florist in Belmullet. On the day, everything ran smoothly and there was no problems at all, all the staff were very friendly. We had enough food to feed 500 and all our guests loved it. They had all the extras as part of the package, the sweet cart went down a treat with young and old, plenty of bits in the bathroom baskets. We had asked for just some Tayto and bread to be brought out in the residence bar and instead we got full trays of sandwiches and all the Tayto sandwiches you could eat. No rush on closing up the bar, everything was just so relaxed and we could not be happier with the venue we picked. We would highly recommend the BroadHaven Bay Hotel, they have everything.

Mary and the team at the Broadhaven are one of a kind! When organising a wedding, it is very hard to know where to start, so when we went back to the Broadhaven and they made us feel at home from the minute we had our first meeting. This was our first stop and we didn’t go anywhere else, we were so impressed. From the minute we met Mary, nothing was ever a problem. Mary was so professional and gave us a list of bands, ideas for the day, advice on what works well and what doesn’t and so much more. The wedding package in the Broadhaven is exceptional. It takes the stress out of planning. The service from the staff, the professionalism and the kindest were all we could ask for and more. We had people travelling from all over the world who said how exceptional everything was and how well they were looked after. Mary and Keith made sure everything ran smoothly on the day and looked after the band and any vendors that came on the day. We couldn’t recommend the Broadhaven and their team enough.

Our wedding was during the busiest weekend on the local calendar during the Belmullet festival. Mary and Keith were super involved and put me at ease while planning our wedding from abroad. The Broadhaven offer the most competitive wedding rates I've seen, and we would have been stupid not to avail of the offers within our package. Mary was amazing in guiding and advising on numbers and arranged complimentary food tasting when it was convenient to us and allowed some of our wedding party to join. The quality of the menu was second to none, and we opted for 3 main courses to offer a bigger selection to our guest. Everyone enjoyed the day and it flowed so smoothly, including the 2nd days events. The package included bridal party cars, which was a huge seller for us, and it meant I didn't need to worry about another company, as the Broadhaven had us covered. The drivers even brought champagne and sandwiches to our photoshoot location which was a lovely surprise. The flexibility and the level of help from Mary, Keith and all the staff at the Broadhaven put us really at ease, which allowed us to enjoy a few days stay at the hotel and the continued festivities. I highly recommend choosing the Broadhaven Bay hotel for your wedding. Book well in advance as their dates fill up pretty fast especially during this festival weekend.

From the welcome at reception to breakfast the next day the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. The venue was excellent and everything ran like clockwork removing any stress and unnecessary distractions from our most important day. The room, the food, the service, the entertainment which was organised by the hotel were all first rate. A great big thank you to all at the Broadhaven!!!

We had our wedding reception at The Broadhaven Bay Hotel in August 2015 and we cannot speak highly enough of the venue and the staff, they made it the heart day of our lives! From the moment rang to enquire about our wedding (as we live in England and therefore had to arrange it from home), to visiting David to begin more formal arrangements, right up to our wedding day, we never experienced anything but first class service from this hotel. A sincere thank you to David and Josephine who assisted us through the planning stages of our wedding and for their first class service on the day itself. They could not have done more to assist us or to make our day any more perfect. All our guests commented on the staff & management and how they felt as if they'd known them years the way they welcomed them to the hotel & couldn't do enough for not only us, but every guest also! The food, as always, was amazing! There was loads of everything & the service was fab, everybody's food was piping hot, and there were almost 300 guests to feed! The hotel itself has spectacular views, fabulous surroundings & very well kept & maintained grounds, which meant we managed to get amazing pictures! The attention to detail throughout the hotel on our wedding day was outstanding and the reception room looked magical with beautiful flowers, centrepieces, chair covers, table runners and a lit up backdrop behind the top table. Also, the spacious foyer area allowed for us to have a photobooth and sweet stand for our guests throughout the day. We would, without a doubt, highly recommend the Broadhaven Bay for holding the reception for anybody's wedding big day. It truly is amazing!

My wife and I got married in the Broadhaven Bay in July 2015. From the very moment we met David and Josephine to set a date and book the wedding venue we could not have been happier with the whole experience. The hotel were wonderful to deal with and their experience shone through on our big day. Many of our guests commented on the excellent quality of the food and in particular the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, not just on the day of the wedding but throughout the whole weekend. There was no stone left unturned. We were made feel at ease and had nothing to worry about and how right they were. Our day was perfect from start to finish thanks to David and the staff at The Broadhaven. From the first day we meet David about a year and a half before our date, he gave us tips and helped in our planning which saved us time and stress throughout the whole process. He was very accessible and meet with us numerous times to make sure all was going well and if we needed anything changed etc. The day itself proved stress free and relaxed with The Broadhaven staff looking after us and our guests. The dinner was delicious and punctual which was important to us. An added bonus was the two cars provided to us by the hotel. We can't recommend The Broadhaven highly enough and will gladly give it top marks.

I had my reception in the broad haven in 2012 my wedding was small from the minute we spoke to David about what we wanted he went above and beyond to help us and even though our wedding was small we got the same treatment as anyone with a big wedding would get and the attention to detail was excellent. Myself and my now Husband Stefan, got married at The Broadhaven Bay hotel on Easter Monday 2015, we had the best day that any Bride and Groom could have wished for. We were treated like Royalty and made to feel very special. From meeting David Tyrell on day one, our minds were made up that this was where we wanted to hold our Wedding reception. It could have been difficult With us residing in England, but David always made himself available whenever we were in Ireland to discuss our plans with us. Nothing was too much trouble and we found him to be very accommodating with all of our personal wishes. You also get a lot of added extra surprises that make the day !!!! We also found him to be extremely good in advising on photographers , cakes etc outside of the hotel remit. Everything ran very smoothly from the booking of the rooms, to the day and the days after that we stayed for. I would like to thank not only David for this but Josephine who looked after Us Fabulously when He had finished his shift and every single member of staff in the hotel they were tremendous and could not do enough for everyone. We all enjoyed it so much that we had a reunion back in the hotel this Easter! So thank you again to all the staff and I would 100% recommend this hotel for anyone thinking of getting Married. X

To whom it may concern, My name is Michael Corrigan and I got married over a year ago in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel. David Tyrrell was our Wedding co-ordinator and what a job he carried out on our behalf alongside the most professional, friendly and just amazing team of staff they have their at the Broadhaven. Nothing was too much from organising the cars, the reception area, the banquet hall, table layout etc. The day could not have gone any better. The food was sensational the drinks kept flowing and every one of our guests are still talking about what a great venue and wedding we had to this day.

Myself (Siobhan) and my husband David live in England, when it came to choosing the venue for our wedding, we decided that we would bring the wedding back to Ireland, most particularly to Mayo where a lot of family are from. The Broadhaven has been used by family on occasions over the years and so we went to meet David to discuss our plans. We were very worried about the distance involved between where we lived and where the wedding would be held, but from the moment we walked into the reception at the Broadhaven and met with David, our worries disappeared. We were able to tell him what plan we had in mind, choose a date and leave it with him. We went back to discuss the menu, which was difficult because all of the choices were fantastic, the food is a major part of the wedding, and we had no worries that the menu would be great. David was always on hand to advise and the staff were so brilliant, I could not wait for my wedding day to arrive, we were given names of florists, bands and cake makers and went off to choose, all of the choices we were given were of high quality it was difficult to make a decision. On the last visit to the Broadhaven before the wedding date, David asked what was the wedding colour, I told him Cadbury purple and thought no more about it. The staff at the hotel prepared and displayed our seating plan the night before the wedding, it looked brilliant outside the door to the room, but, when I walked into the room itself I started crying! the background lighting was a perfect purple, the tables and chairs had purple cover, it was magical, we were so overwhelmed. The friends that we brought over from England, could not believe the service at the hotel, the staff were unbelievably accommodating, the Broadhaven has such a fantastic team that work together seamlessly, in fact my wedding is still being talked about today as the best one ever and I feel that that is all due to the Broadhaven Hotel, we cannot thank them enough!

We got married in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel in 2015. The staff were amazing and made the whole experience so enjoyable and stress free. They were so generous with their time and made sure everything was taken care of. Lots of our family and friends commented on how helpful the staff were. It is a beautiful hotel overlooking the picturesque Broadhaven Bay. We highly recommend the Broadhaven Bay as a wedding venue.

After having the pleasure of attending a few different weddings at the Broadhaven Bay Hotel over the last few years, when our turn came around, there was only ever one choice of venue for us! From our first meeting with Dave, to the genuine warmth and interest and generosity of Geraldine and Eamon, through the tasting evening with Josephine, to sorting out the accomodation with Keith, you all really made our whole experience enjoyable. You thought of everything and took the pressure off us both. Nothing was a problem! At a time when people can get stressed and worried – you made the planning and preparation a pleasure and we had, without doubt, the best day of both our lives so far. We got married on a cold, wild and wet New Years Day and the hotel was as warm and welcoming as the staff when we arrived. It was beautifully festive with open fires and candles, Christmas trees and lights. The place looked amazing with a scrumptious selection of hot and cold food and gallons of tea, coffee, mulled wine and prosecco when we arrived. We were really wowed by the banquet room when we walked in, it looked absolutely magical with dim lights, sparkly backdrops, fabulous flowers and lots of candles. Our family and friends continuously commented throughout the day on how amazing and friendly the staff were and how absolutely delicious the food was. The staff generously offered everyone lots of second helpings and they were flat out topping the wine up throughout the meal! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the banquet with many openly confessing to overindulging as the food really was just too good to resist!! We cannot thank all the bar staff enough. We got married in October 2015 and held our reception in The Broadhaven Hotel in Belmullet. David and his team were most professional in their approach to helping us to organise our big day. The Big Day went off perfectly and our guests all commented on the efficiency of staff and how friendly and welcoming they all were. We cannot recommend The Broadhaven Hotel enough, we have gone back a few times since for other occassions and found the service flawless and top class.

We got married at the broadhaven bay hotel last year and it was just a fantastic venue. We knew from the min we met the manager that this was the place for us. Everything in the lead up to the wedding was so easy thanks to the fantastic staff there. The day itself was amazing, Dave attended to our every need. The food was delicious and plenty of it!!! There was mess up with any of the accommodation. Staff just could not do enough for us and all of our guests.
