What a dream of a day we had at Carrygerry Country House on the 24th of May last year. From start to finish everything was made so easy dealing with Gillian for our wedding plans. (Down to the smallest detail even the beers we served to our guests on the day) We were always made to feel so welcome any time we visited Carrygerry to discuss details. The venue itself has such an intimate feel to it and we felt the house was ours for the day. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were extremely professional and friendly. The food was outstanding thank to Niall and his team. All our guests commented on the quality of the food from the appetizers right through to the meal and the BBQ we had for our evening guests. The rooms were extremely comfortable and beautifully in keeping with the surroundings and the house itself. We are very happy to recommend Carrygerry Country House as a venue to have a Wedding. We would like to thank Gillian and Niall for making our day very special and personal for us and all our guests.

James and I had our wedding in Carrygerry House in August of this year. The day was everything we could have hoped for. Gillian was a joy to deal with, she was so accommodating from the first time we met with her. All of our special requests were catered for and to the highest standard. Whether it was the menu, seating plans, table decor or special bar requests it was not all sorted. The food was exceptional, our quests were so impressed with every course. The hardest part was to pick the menu. The venue itself is so unique, the front rooms were full all night with people chatting and the fire pit burning all night in the courtyard was also a huge hit. The way the tables were set up was beautiful and so simple. Staff were also excellent. I couldn't recommend it enough. A magical experience to look back on.

We had the most perfect wedding at Carrygerry House, we had a secret wedding (only close family attended) we had the house to ourselves and the sun was shining. We had our ceremony amongst the bluebells in the garden, we couldn’t have dreamed of a better setting. Gillian and her team were fantastic, very accommodating and friendly. We had our wedding in Carrygerry House on Monday August 6, 2018. We had a perfect day thanks to Gillian, Niall and all their team. Gillian is a pleasure to deal with and responds to any queries quickly and efficiently. The house has an old world charm and the rooms are decorated beautifully. We loved the courtyard just off the function room, a great place to rest your feet after dancing! Gillian recommended a lovely lady Audrey to decorate the courtyard and she did a fantastic job. The food was amazing throughout the day, our family and guests still talk about it and they catered to all our guests dietry requirements without any hassle. I would recommend Carrygerry House without any hesitation. It's the perfect spot for an intimate wedding and a great party! We will definately be back to stay and dine in the restaurant again. As a more mature couple, we were in no doubt after our initial visit to Carrygerry, that we had found the most perfect venue to have our wedding ceremony and reception. Gillian and Niall so warmly guided us through all the planning stages, with such relaxation, professionalism and ease. We had taken the personal approach to the coordination and decor of our venue and Gillian was so accommodating and helpful, even on the morning itself. On the day our memorable ceremony was conducted on the lawn, and was so loved by everyone, and the sun shone down on us all, the beautiful house and gardens and the amazing rolling pastures as a backdrop. Our drinks reception followed in the gardens also. The reception was totally amazing to follow. Our meal was fantastic! Niall is an award winning chef, and our gorgeous food laid testament. Guests even stated that it had been the best wedding they had ever attended, and that Carrygerry House is probably the best wedding venue ever attended. Our accommodation also was so beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. As all the rooms were for use of our family and friends, we felt totally at home. Brian and I will never forget our wedding day, Aug 5th 2018. Carrygerry House Hotel made our fairy tale come true, and our memories will make us smile for the rest of our lives. Niall and Gillian Ennis and staff enabled us to have the most perfect wedding ever imaginable and we both cherish the kindness, dedication and friendliness shown to us, our families and friends on our most special day.

We got married in Carrygerry Country House last March 16th with approx 80 guests and I have nothing but good things to say about our whole experience. Me and my husband have been together a long time and we really wanted a wedding day that was relaxed, intimate and fuss-free. So after meeting with Gillian and Niall we knew that this was exactly what we were going to get. Gillian was so helpful with all aspects of getting ready for the big day and I was never in any doubt that everything was going to be perfect. They were always so accommodating to us and nothing was ever a problem for them. We had a humanist ceremony in the conservatory which was so beautiful. Everything about Carrygerry gives you that feeling of warmth and comfort. The fire pit in the courtyard is such a nice place to gather later in the night too! It was so nice to have everything in the one venue and all of our guests appreciated that too! Good food was a priority for us and Niall and his team didn't disappoint. The food was amazing! Even breakfast the next morning was so tasty! Our wedding day was brilliant from start to finish. Gillian and her staff were so attentive and made our day go so well. Carrygerry Country House gives you that personal touch that can be missing from other places. You really feel like you matter to them and that they make every effort for you so that you have the best day. Thank you so much Gillian and Niall for such a memorable wedding day!
