This is a very very overdue THANK YOU to every single person at Lady Gregory Hotel for the most incredible wedding weekend anyone could have ever thought possible. Nearly 2 years on friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the hotel was, the amazing food and the incredibly friendly service. We were organising our wedding all the way from Australia and Fiona could not have made the whole process any easier. She called us from Ireland and emailed regularly. She put us at ease from the very first contact made and Sean and I knew we were getting married in the right place which allowed us to enjoy the time leading up to the wedding rather than worry about the general details. The staff catered to our every need and nothing was ever a problem for them. Fiona ensured every last detail of our wedding day and the days leading up to it were all perfectly organised from decorations, flowers, help to find wedding bands and DJ, last minute changes to the guest list, catering to guest with special dietary needs, etc. The hotel was even so kind as to let me leave my wedding dress, shoes and jewellery safely at the hotel as I was travelling around the country visiting family and friends and was worried I would ruin or possibly lose my dress. If you were to get married at The Lady Gregory, I can guarantee you will be more than 100% satisfied with the beautifully decorated hotel combining quaint and modern decor, delicious food, incredible food and fun atmosphere.

We had our wedding in the Lady Gregory, July 2018 and I can say whole heartedly it was the best decision I could have made. Olivia, Alan, Fiona and the team were so easy to deal with, so helpful and so willing so answer our requests. The food was absolutely amazing and people are still telling us that- we got the lamb, sea bass and chicken! The food at arrivals, along with the music and drinks was gorgeous. The decor was exactly what I envisioned and more. The banquet room looked amazing and while 305 sat it was still intimate. They had little extras that totally complemented our theme and created a great atmosphere throughout the day and night (and early morning). The staff were all so friendly and helpful and there were no delays at or lulls in the day. The music went on until we wanted and there was no end to the resident's bar! If you want to have a brilliant wedding with great food, staff, all night music and drink this is the place to go. I have absolutely no complaints. Thanks so much for a brilliant weekend!!

As I am from Gort I always wanted my wedding venue to be the Lady Gregory Hotel as it is such a beautiful venue. Olivia was amazing nothing was too much hassle her calm nature would help any bride to be calm. Our wedding day was amazing we had such a good time the staff were amazing. I had a lot of guests over from London who couldn’t get over how nice the food & canopes were, they loved the decor & their rooms & spa. They kept taking photos in the reception area & stairs as the decor provides such nice backgrounds in pictures. I can’t thank the Lady Gregory enough for the experience of our wedding & I would recommend it to any bride.

Words cant express the day we had in The Lady Gregory for our Wedding in December. From the minute we met Olivia on the first evening of our planning in April 2017 we knew we were in good hands. Nothing was too small or too big to be dealt with. Like most couples wedding planning was a maze for us but Olivia and the team helped us with everything, not just hotel related. The extras the hotel provided are second to none, sweet carts, wedding props, centre pieces - you name it they have it! With such a choice on the menu the wedding tasting was an excellent idea and helped us decide. The food on the day was amazing, everyone still compliments it when talking about the day. The one aspect that will stand out for us all were the staff. From Recp to management to bar to waitresses, it was just amazing how everyone went above and beyond to make our day so special, nothing was left unturned and everything went like clockwork. We had an amazing wedding at the lady Gregory hotel in August. Where to start,well we were planning our wedding from the UK and Olivia and Fiona helped out in every way - they recommend local B&bs,when our guests had filled the hotel,they arranged for music on arrival ,we had a company come and entertain the children and they gave us a small function room complimentary for that. The food was out of this world, all our guests still talk about how nice it was and how there was plenty of it. Olivia arranged a sweet stand for us last minute at a very competitive price it was a lovely addition to the arrival drinks and evening treats. Nothing was too much for the folks at the lady Gregory and they helped us out so much,our room was stunning also, All our guests who visited from the UK were blown away by the hotel and it’s amazing customer service. The newly refurbished function room is beautiful,the reception area and tourists ahev also been refurbished to a high standard. We had our wedding in the Lady Gregory on the 4th February 2017 and we loved every single moment of it! From the moment we first met them to look at the venue they couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming. They were so easy to talk to and so helpful, there were so many things that we had not even thought of and Fiona and Olivia were able to help us out every step of the way. We met them on several occasions and even if we had a question we were able to drop them an email and they got back to us straight away. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, its 5 minutes away form Coole Park which is ideal for photos, the function room is amazing and they can change the colours on the ceiling to suit your theme. All of the little touches they did made it look so amazing on the day, little candles, veils, backdrops, it all looked incredible. The food was incredible and every single person at the wedding commented on it at some stage, it was so delicious and no was left hungry, even when we went for our tasting we turned it into an evening at the hotel. The staff in the hotel can not do enough for you and everyone addresses you by name and has a smile on their face, all of these little touches mean so much on your big day. We can not recommend this hotel high enough, we can guarantee that you wont be disappointed.

From the moment my husband and I walked into the Lady Gregory Hotel, we knew straight away it was the perfect wedding venue. The hotel is warm, inviting and beautifully decorated. Olivia and Fiona, our wedding coordinators, can only be described as a 'dream'. They were ALWAYS on hand, from the moment we walked in the Lady Gregory Hotel doors, until we left, two days after our wedding. No question was too silly, or no idea was too crazy. They accommodated all our needs, and more. They even took our vendors numbers so that we wouldn't have to deal with any potential problems on the day. We can honestly say, not one of us worried about our wedding reception, as we knew Olivia and Fiona would manage everything. On the day, the room looked so beautiful. The food was gorgeous, with so many of our guests commenting on it. It was tasty, plentiful and timely. Our guests also commented on the exceptional service and friendly staff. We have to say, we really were treated like royalty, which made us feel extra special on the day. We actually found it hard to leave!!! We would highly recommend the Lady Gregory Hotel for a wedding. It is just exceptional!!!

We had our wedding in the Lady Gregory in September last year and we are still talking about it a year later, with the fondest of memories !!! On our big day the folks at the Lady Gregory had us AND our guests spoiled all day and night - we really didn't want to leave for our Honeymoon in Italy :-) The hotel looked amazing. Olivia, personally, took charge of all the decorations , candle's in beautiful lanterns, flowers everywhere , centerpieces for the tables , sash's for the chairs etc etc WE HAD NOTHING TO DO !!!! It was exceptional service... The food was exceptional. We had the usual mix of 120 guests, some with special requirements, allergies, the usual mix - nothing was an issue for the kitchen. All the food was delivered as expected, tasty, brilliantly prepared and every one of our "special requirements" was catered for. To be honest , we have eaten in the Lady Gregory several times before and since the wedding and have only great feedback for their attention to their menu and food preparation. The staff were the friendliest you will find anywhere. From the first moment when we inquired about having our wedding at the Lady Gregory to the day after our brilliant day we have to say EVERY one of the staff made us feel welcome and part of the family. Nothing we asked for was a big deal and they spent a fair amount of time with us making sure every aspect of the wedding was covered. They even put us in contact with some great local suppliers and saved us a small fortune in some areas !! The rooms were perfect. The team block booked a large amount of rooms for our guests and really looked after us on rates etc. Every one of our guests raved on about the hotel & facilities and to have our family and friends around us late into the evening was an added bonus, it gave us a chance to put the feet up, relax and enjoy the last hours ! My wife and I & our guests had the best day and we cannot thank Olivia , Alan, Fiona & the staff enough - THANK YOU SO SO MUCH !!!

My husband and I got married in The Lady Gregory Hotel in April 2017. We can't praise this hotel enough. Olivia, Fiona and all the staff were very accommodating in every way possible and we're extremely easy to deal with. Nothing was ever a problem and they strive to ensure your wedding day is a memorable one. We got married at the lady gregory hotel on the 15th of july 2016 . Olivia and the team were brillant from beginning till the end .from the cermony ,to the reception .place was decorated so beautifull and Food was amazeing and plenty of it .. olivia and team really did an incredible job .had the most perfect day . We also had our second day celebrations at the lady gregory hotel .and again they gave us a perfect day . Set up .decorations and buffet was incredible .even put on extras for us when we had more guests then planned show up . We absolutely loved it here. The staff are incredible and real credit to Fiona. Everything was done to a high standard and really made us feel special. The guys behind the bar are great and always made us laugh. The rooms are lovely and nicely decorated. Our wedding was great and really enjoyable. We had no stress as Fiona has sorted everything for us. The rooms just "magically" transformed without us knowing! It really was an incredible day and my Wife really felt special. We got married in the Lady Gregory, July of last summer and we could not have imagined a better day. Olivia, Alan and Fiona, were absolutely fantastic and went out of their way to make our day as special as it could be. The food served on the day was amazing and great effort was put into presentation. The whole day went by smoothly and was stress free. Throughout the build-up and preparation of the wedding, we were treated as if we were the only wedding that summer! So much thought and effort was put into every detail from the table center pieces to the set up on arrival. A massive thanks to all the bar, kitchen, serving and reception staff at the lady Gregory. We had our wedding at the Lady Gregory Hotel on the 5th of August. We planned our wedding while living in America and doing it from overseas can add complexity, however from start to finish Fiona and the hotel staff were extremely accommodating and helpful in making our special day stress free. I highly recommend the Lady Gregory Hotel as a wedding venue. Fiona and the staff made sure to capture our style and created a fantastic atmosphere for all our guests. On June 16th 2017 we had our wedding reception in The Lady Gregory Hotel. From the moment we booked this venue we had a feeling we were in safe hands, and this was definately the case. The management team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was looked after. The function room itself was fabulous, we were speachless at how elegant it looked with the beautiful centrepieces and blue lights to reflect our colour theme. The meal was outstanding, all our guests complimented the portion sizes and how hot the meals were coming out. A big ‘Thank You’ to the kitchen staff on that. The waiting staff were friendly, polite and very efficient when serving tables which put us at ease as we could see our guests were very happy. Our guests were also very pleased with their rooms & with the complimentary facilities of The Swan Leisure Club. There is only one word to describe the bridal suite snd that is “WOW”. The management team did a super job in organising our wedding and we could not be happier. Overall we feel that The Lady Gregory Hotel is a gem hidden away in a small rural town but we can safely say you would not be disappointed if you stumbled across it. We wish Olivia & Alan, The Management & Staff all the best for the future.

I got married in the lady Gregory hotel on the 18th of February this year and the hotel couldn't do enough for us. The whole experience from picking the menu to the decorating of the room was just outstanding, it really was the dream wedding I had always wished for as a young girl. The food was incredible they served 235 people for our big day and every plate was served hot and absolutely perfect. Olivia and Alan catered for all my needs, including over 60 guests flying over from England to stay in the hotel. My friends and family said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The staff at the hotel are smart and professional and very helpful. The main function room was just brilliant, set up for our band with a stage, it has a huge dance floor. I couldn't have asked for more of the lady Gregory hotel, just wish I could do it all over again.

Last August we got married in a civil cermony in the Lady Gregory Hotel Gort. Olivia and Fiona promised us the day of our lives and they delivered over and above our expectations. The suite for the Cermony was absolutely spot on and tastefully decorated. When we were away on the photo shoot all our guests were well looked after with canapés and refreshments with no shortage of either. The reception hall was like a wonderland,lit up to our preferred lighting and the tables and chairs decorated down to the last detail. The meal was generous with seconds and some guests had thirds with no problems from the excellent waiting staff and most importantly the meal was hot on arrival. Some guests who preferred the Vegetarian menu gushed with praise for the choice and quality afforded to them.one of these guests is a top chef from London, so take a bow ladies. Myself and my husband had our wedding reception in The Lady Gregory Hotel and recently celebrated our first anniversary there. We had a fantastic time. Olivia and Fiona were so helpful during the planning process. I never had worry about anything regarding the hotel and any questions or queries were answered so quickly. When our wedding day came around, everything was perfect, just as I had imagined. the food was delicious as always and our guests were just as impressed as we were. I would highly recommend the Lady Gregory Hotel for a wedding. Olivia, Fiona and all the staff we dealt with were very professional and so welcoming. It was a really personable experience. Olivia and fiona are fantastic to work with .i have to say its lovely hotel and well run family business which all are involved and make each bride and groom welcome and very helpful and accommodating everyday even if you have special requests they make it happen.we had a very big wedding and lady gregory were well able and eatablished to cater for 350 people which made our day special so we could have everyone .they are so organised and very assuring

We were sold on the personal, friendly vibe at The Lady Gregory. The staff did anything and everything they could to help us planning the wedding from the UK, which was something that made the process smooth and stress(ish) free!
