I don't know where to start! From our very 1st interaction with Eilis, Mary and the team, we were made to feel like our wedding day was just as important to them as it was to us! They truly go above and beyond. The communication is amazing, and any questions we had were answered straight away. They genuinely were with us every step of the way, and because of the confidence we had in the team at Maryborough, we didn't have a worry, which made us so relaxed on the day. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and maintained to the highest standard. The facilities are outstanding, and I would highly recommend a trip to their spa! From the moment we viewed the Maryborough Hotel and Spa, we knew it was the venue for us. The Orangery provided such a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, and it was turned around and ready for our drinks reception in a matter of minutes. The Sherrard suite was the perfect size for our 100 guests, and although it can cater to larger numbers, the room never felt too big. However, as beautiful as the venue and gardens are, it was the staff that made our wedding in the Maryborough so special. Ellis and Róisín were incredible from start to finish. They provided support, guidance, regular communication and quick answers to our endless questions. It was great to have a point of contact in the hotel that made the process so seamless. Carmel dealt with room bookings, amendments and cancellations with the utmost professionalism and good manner. On the day itself, Claire and John were just the dream team! Their calm, professional and easy-going approach ensured that our wedding day ran smoothly and we felt like we were in safe hands throughout. Claire foresaw any difficulties before they happened, and everything was sorted in minutes with no stress! Months later, our families & friends still talk about how they were treated like royalty by all staff, but especially John. It made the day all the more special for them. John went above and beyond, helping us get beautiful pictures, holding my bouquet, providing reassuring words and humour during emotional moments and countless other things to help out during the day and make us feel completely at ease. Luke and the bar staff were brilliant, no one had to wait long and they had a friendly word for everyone. Our wedding was the August bank holiday weekend, and we honestly cannot thank the team at the Maryborough enough for the most incredible wedding weekend. We had our wedding with the Maryborough Hotel almost a year ago and we had the most amazing day. From seeing the orangery at a family members wedding years ago, when we got engaged, I just couldn’t bring myself to view another hotel. I knew I wanted the orangery, the Maryborough. The hotel and the grounds are beautiful. From the first meeting with the wedding coordinator, Ellis, we were so excited to book our big day. All the staff we met had been so friendly and welcoming. Roisin looked after us on the run up to the wedding. Communication was fast and she had no problems answering any questions we had. The menu tasting was another great experience and we knew our guests would be happy with the menu we chose. There was plenty to choose from with the packages that the hotel provide. The bridal suite was perfect on the morning of getting ready for the wedding. There was plenty of space for us all, and the pictures are beautiful. On the day of our wedding, our banqueting manager, Clare, made the day run so smoothly for us. She was so calm, friendly and amazing at her job. No ask was too big for her and we couldn’t fault a thing from the day. She was so discreet with anything that needed to be done. We are coming back to the Maryborough to celebrate our one year anniversary and we are looking to forward to marking our anniversary there.

The food throughout the day was sublime, the drinks were flowing, and our guests are still raving about the hotel, the staff, and the food. Our guests were raving about the food and the beautiful orangery where we had our ceremony. We danced the night away in the beautiful ballroom, which was decorated to perfection and every detail we asked for was handled without fuss. We had the most amazing day in June 2024 for our wedding. Everybody working at the Maryborough is an absolute professional and their attention to detail is unbelievable! From start to finish, we were exceptionally happy with how everything went. Ellis, our wedding coordinator was simply amazing, so accommodating, so helpful, and she had amazing ideas and suggestions for us. She really got us so excited for our big day, from the first time we met her and was always quick to respond to any email queries we had. We went with all of her recommendations because they just sounded fantastic! The menu testing was also a great experience, we loved it! Our wedding day was absolute perfection, from start to finish! Ellis was there for the day and ensured that everything ran so so smoothly and created such a wonderful, positive, fun atmosphere. The drinks reception was amazing, out in the garden, the bridal party as well as the guests were treated as royalty, it was so special. The entrance into the dining room was amazing, the staff created serious hype for us! The meal was absolutely gorgeous and the service was truly impeccable. Even the breakfast the next morning felt just as special! It was a day we will never forget and it really felt like we were VIPs, I would recommend the Maryborough to anyone getting married. I’d love to do it again and again!! Any time we pop in for lunch or coffee or dinner, the staff, especially Ellis recognise us and come over to chat, you really feel valued. Our experience with the Maryborough was nothing short of fantastic. From the day we initially met Mary, we were put completely at ease and knew we were in good hands. This continued over the 18 months that followed to our wedding day, making the lead up enjoyable and stress-free. On the day and over the wedding weekend, the whole team at the hotel went above and beyond for us and we felt so looked after. On top of the service, the food was an absolute standout on the day. The hotel itself is amazing, we didn’t want to leave after 3 days and are already looking forward to another stay! It was a seamless experience from start to finish, and really made our wedding day magical!

We had the most amazing experience in the Maryborough Hotel, we did it all there, and it was the best decision. The staff on the evening before and morning of, and after, were absolutely exceptional. Our ceremony was in the Orangery, and it was breathtakingly beautiful. Everyone was so impressed and blown away. The staff ensured that everyone and everything was looked after, offering so much help and support throughout. The food was incredible, and everyone keeps talking about it. We were lucky to have it twice, as we had the menu tasting a few weeks prior, and it was incredible. We had the suite for two nights, and it was magnificent. So thoroughly set up, such beautiful surroundings. It made the morning of the wedding so easy and accessible. We can’t say enough about the hotel; the compliments are pouring out of everyone about everything. Maryborough was the most amazing hotel for our wedding, from the very first day we looked at the hotel to the days after the wedding! Anything we asked for, they made sure we had it and were always going above and beyond! Ellis was amazing at organising the wedding and making sure we weren’t stressed about anything! All the staff on the day itself were brilliant! The waiters, Bar staff, managers, reception, accommodation, and everyone were amazing to deal with, and their customer service left me in awe! The food was excellent, and anyone we spoke to in the weeks after the wedding was still raving about how fabulous the food was. Maryborough really know how to make you feel special on one of the biggest days of your life, but what really stood out to me is that all the guests felt special and cared for on the day too! The orangery was the most gorgeous setting for our drinks reception and looked like something from a fairytale with the decor. We also got gorgeous photos in the gardens and in the hotel itself. We had our wedding in the Maryborough Hotel on 12/12/24. There are so many things I want to say about this venue!! We had the best day of our lives. The hotel itself is so beautiful! The bridal suite was beautiful! The Orangery is just magical, and the ballroom has such a gorgeous class and elegance to it. The food was outstanding! Every single guest commented on how good the food was. On the day, I was looked after by the gorgeous Claire, who honestly couldn't have done enough for me. Nothing was too much for her, so much so that she was even going to give me the back of her earring when I lost mine haha. The lovely Vicki looked after us during the dinner and always made sure we were okay and if we needed anything. In the lead up to the wedding, we dealt with Ellis, Florine and Mary, and they were amazing! There honestly wasn't anything about our wedding that I could fault. So many guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and that the hotel was just beautiful! Wishing I could do my wedding all over again!! And cannot wait to return to Maryborough to relive all of our gorgeous memories!
