Magical Maryborough. Must-see venue. We were married in March and everything was marvellous. Ellis was a dream to deal with and everything she promised was delivered by the team with elegance and effortless professionalism. The Orangery was gorgeous for our ceremony and perfect for dinner and dancing for our small wedding. The whole venue was photographed beautifully. Our guests remarked on the exquisite food & wine, the quality of the service from very friendly staff and also the character of the venue itself. The fitness centre and spa are 5-star with wonderful staff. We are so grateful to everyone for going over and above to make our wedding such a memorable celebration. Better than perfect. My now husband and I got engaged in the Maryborough, the staff on the night were so excited for us, they felt like friends and the hotel quickly became a special location for us. A friend of ours asked if we were going to get married there too and recommended we meet Ellis, their amazing Wedding Coordinator, needless to say, Ellis could answer any question, provided supplier recommendations, help us outline the day from start to finish. We'd pop in for a coffee, lunch or a celebratory dinner. In the midst of Covid, the hotel went above and beyond to help us reschedule and make sure we kept the planning magic and excitement. We stayed the night before the wedding and got separate rooms to be somewhat traditional! Getting ready in the hotel was so relaxing and it meant from the second we drove down the hill, we could enjoy the wedding build up. I had crept down the stairs of the main house to peep out a window to see my husband and his groomsmen getting ready on their balcony, the wedding photographers had given me a heads up, and they were there - it's a fantastic photo and memory now. Our bridal party and families loved the hotel and my heart burst with happiness (and maybe nerves) when the doors to the Orangery opened and it was full of our friends and family. The Orangery is like something that comes to life out of a fairy tale storybook, full of light, flowers, candles and honestly, the photos from there are all more beautiful than the last. The drinks reception was hosted there and the room carries music and laughter like you've never experienced. The wedding meal was in the banquet room and the tone and setting changing to soft lights, chandeliers and fairy branches at the entrance is exquisite. Our guests raved about the food (and the wine), and, the staff on the floor, bar and entire hotel couldn't have been more helpful. We danced the night away with our friends and families, I couldn't recommend the Maryborough highly enough, it is a dream venue.

The Maryborough Hotel & Spa did an absolutely incredible job in hosting our wedding. We had a mixed-religion ceremony with a Hindu wedding and a Catholic wedding. The Maryborough was incredibly interested in ensuring both weddings were special and done as well as possible. The food was great, the venue was fun, Ellis (our wedding coordinator at the Maryborough) was just the greatest, and overall we really loved the location. The Orangery and the lawns made for perfect backdrops for our events, and the staff even allowed us to use non-ordinary locations like the fountain in the front yard, which they got deep cleaned prior to our event. Aside from the events, the spa is incredible and all of our guests loved it.

We had a superb wedding day in the Maryborough on 11/11/23. We really enjoyed the special day. The bride, groom & the wedding party got a beautiful welcoming reception in the foyer from all the managers on duty. It was a great start to our time in the hotel. Everybody loved the drinks & food reception in the Orangery. The meal in the Sherrard Room was outstanding & we were very well looked after by all the staff. Claire was very attentive & helpful to us at all times. It was a truly memorable day. Thank you to everybody on duty on the day for making the day so special. We are so appreciative of everything. Our wedding in the Maryborough was everything we had hoped for. The venue itself was perfect. The staff were amazing & so welcoming. The food was incredible, so much so that we still think about it often! Service was impeccable. We cannot thank the staff enough & especially Ellis. Ellis was so helpful from day one, she made every stage of planning a wedding easier. We would highly recommend the Maryborough Hotel for your wedding, you won’t regret it.

We had the most amazing wedding experience with the Maryborough Hotel. A year out, we secured our date and booked via a Zoom meeting from Australia. In the leap up, nothing was a hassle and Ellis was able to accommodate all our requests. It was a really enjoyable experience to plan our wedding from afar with her and on the day, we were really relaxed knowing she had everything sorted. The grounds for the hotel are amazing, all our guests complimented the choice and the only thing we would change is an extra night in the bridal suite as it was just gorgeous. If we could get married again, our first choice would be the Maryborough Hotel. We look forward to returning in the years to come to celebrate our anniversary.

Ellis and all the staff of the Maryborough Hotel could not have done enough for us, between the run up to the wedding and on the day of the wedding, everything went seamlessly. It was perfect, the staff were amazing, professional and so easy to deal with. I cannot say enough about the Maryborough Hotel. They really made us feel so special on our wedding day, we just had to turn up! There are not enough words to describe how professional, kind and helpful all the staff are. We had the best day.

We had the most magical experience having our wedding at the beautiful Maryborough Hotel. Right from the beginning, Ellis assisted us with every little detail - with no question or request being too much. The venue was absolutely beautiful - from the food, drinks, banqueting room & of course the stunning Orangery. Our experience of the Maryborough was superb from first engagement to the day itself. The team are brilliant, so professional. Ellis O Connell in particular was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She made the entire planning of our wedding so easy- I was told multiple times I was the most laid back bride, that was down to Ellis and all the team having everything so well organised. Food was excellent, all our guests gave positive reviews. Cannot recommend the Maryborough enough! We had the best day, and would choose the Maryborough again without hesitation!

We had the most special day at the Maryborough for our wedding! Ellis, our wedding coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with from the first time we enquired about the venue and every time we met thereafter. She was always so quick to respond to any question we had and she really put my husband and I both at ease with the planning. Ellis is a pro at her job! Nothing was too big or too small and she had so many ideas to help us bring our day to life. We cannot compliment the staff on the day enough, they did a fantastic job (special mention to Brian, Gavin, and Nicole). They were all so attentive and made sure we were looked after all day. From the minute we checked in, everyone honestly was just amazing. We received countless compliments regarding the food and staff from our guests all day. The Maryborough is a cut above the rest!

Amazing experience from start to finish as soon as we booked in with Ellis and her team at the Maryborough. Nothing was ever too much for them to do and there was always someone at the end of the phone or email. With being an overseas couple, it was a huge weight off our shoulders that everything was taken care of. Not one worry in the world that everything was perfect and the day ran so smoothly. We celebrated our wedding at the Maryborough Hotel on the 3rd June 2023 and it was fantastic from start to finish. We knew from past weddings and celebrations that the Maryborough was a top contender for us and that was sealed when we went to view the venue. We also chose to have a BBQ there for our day 2 and they could do no more for us to make this happen also. Not only is the hotel and grounds spectacularly beautiful but the staff are so friendly, supportive and accommodating, we were truly blessed. No request was too much trouble, and they were so attentive on every contact and visit. Ellis was our dedicated wedding coordinator and to say she is in the right profession is putting it mildly. Ellis's attention to detail is inspiring, and every email and phone call was answered almost instantly. Ellis was always happy to help and advise and was almost as excited for the big day as we were. On the rare occasion Ellis was unavailable, Mary jumped in to help and ensured we were looked after and not waiting on replies. Caramel also was amazing in reservations for catering to our guest bookings and keeping everything up to date. Everything on the day was spectacular from start to finish, we had the most wonderful day and our guests are still raving about the food and service. From the first viewing, to our menu tasting, final details meeting and the big day itself, I literally could not fault a single item, we were treated like a king and queen. The hotel is immaculate and well the grounds speak to themselves and we were so so blessed to have the weather on our side that day but I would say even if you didn't, it would not take from the experience. If you are considering booking your wedding here I would say don't wait, just do it. Thank you again to all at the Maryborough for the most spectacular and amazing day we will never forget, you all played such a significant part in bring our dream day to life.

We cannot speak highly enough of the Maryborough Hotel. Had our wedding there last year and it was so perfect, the staff went above and beyond making sure everything went smoothly. Ellis in particular was incredible. She completely put our minds at ease and helped us with even the most minor details, she was one step ahead of us all day ensuring we had everything we needed. Eilis and the team at the Maryborough were excellent from day one. Always very helpful and timely with any queries we had. We truly enjoyed our wedding at the Maryborough. Everything over the weekend ran very smoothly thanks to the team. The reception was wonderful, the dining room was beautiful and the food was gorgeous. All our family and friends were very impressed. We could not fault a single thing , it was everything we had hoped for!

We said “I Do“ in the stunning Orangery on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The Orangery is absolutely magical and ideal for an intimate ceremony. It needed very little decor as the room itself is already so beautiful with the wisteria hanging overhead. Our drinks reception was held in the beautiful gardens. Again such a stunning backdrop for drinks in the sunshine. Our guests were so well looked after. It was an exceptionally hot day and the staff had extra water stations, sun cream stations and cold towels for our guests. These were the little things that made everyone feel so well looked after. Our meal was held in The Orangery also. The room was converted from a ceremony set up to a dining set up in the blink of an eye and it was truly spectacular. The staff did a superb job in making it look so perfect. We opted for a mix of fresh flower centrepieces and candelabras. It was simply stunning! The food was out of this world. A year on and our guests still tell us how amazing the meal at our wedding was! From our very first phone call to the big day itself we were truly so lucky to have Ellis taking care of everything for us. Ellis kept us calm and cool and really was so lovely to deal with. No request was too big or small and she was always on hand to answer any questions we had. Ellis made us feel so special despite us being the last wedding of a very busy week of weddings. The entire staff at the Maryborough go above and beyond. From the reservations team to the housekeeping staff, everyone is always so helpful. The Maryborough is most definitely a very special place to get married and we’ll forever be so grateful to have had such an amazing day.

Our wedding at the Maryborough was perfect in every respect and we highly recommend the hotel as a wedding venue. Ellis was so helpful, knowledgeable, thoughtful and efficient throughout the entire process from our initial meeting with her to the wedding itself. We had our wedding ceremony in the Orangery and we couldn't have chosen a more magical venue, so bright and enchanting against the backdrop of the beautiful gardens outside. The gardens proved to be the idyllic setting for our drinks reception and our guests were so well looked after by the very attentive staff. The food at the reception was absolutely superb and while our guests were highly impressed with the Maryborough as a wedding venue, they were particularly complimentary about the food. On the day of our wedding Ellis gave us a very personal service and was there throughout to ensure that everything went as planned, down to the very last detail. Similarly, hotel management made us feel very special and were constantly on hand to ensure that everything was exactly as we wished. We had such a beautiful day, we were treated like royalty from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing, every guest agreed. They literally bent over backwards for us. Ellis is really lovely to deal with, always in contact and nothing was too big or small. I was a bit of a relaxed bride, just always going with the flow so it was the perfect fit as they looked after every detail on the day. We didn't have to do a thing and it all turned out so beautifully, the Orangery room was just so dreamy. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your wedding day, they made everything just flow so effortlessly!

Now that the dust has settled a little bit and we are back from our honeymoon, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and your whole team for making our wedding day so special. We were looked after so well and anything we needed was no problem at all. You all went above and beyond. Every one of our guests commented on what a fabulous venue it was and the food was just exceptional. There was not one thing we could fault. We feel so lucky that we had our wedding at The Maryborough and just wish we could do it all again!

Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more, Ellis made planning the wedding from overseas a breeze! Our guests compliment the venue and the food on several occasions. Everyone had a fantastic time. The evening staff were super and we partied into the early hours! The grounds of The Maryborough are gorgeous and made for stunning pictures. I would highly recommend The Maryborough for weddings, they have worked with almost all the vendors we had hired which made setup/planning much easier.

The Maryborough was everything and more that we could have wanted for our wedding. The Orangery is a stunning room and was a beautiful reception area for our guests. On the day of our wedding, it poured rain and we could have been worried about photos but there are so many beautiful areas in the hotel to take pictures, the weather didn’t matter. The major stand out thing for us about having our wedding at the Maryborough though was the staff. Every single person we worked with was amazing. The went above and beyond to help us and because of them everything went so smoothly. Ellis is so calm and professional and really made us feel like everything was organised and ready for our big day, she really took a lot of the stress out of planning the wedding for us. We really felt like they helped and guided us from the moment we decided to have our wedding there until everything was done. I really couldn’t recommend this hotel enough as a wedding venue.

Ellis has been the most amazing individual to work with over the past 2 years! She was so easy to contact and so prompt in responding to any emails and requests! She is an absolute credit to the hotel! She has been so warm and friendly to us throughout! Ellis is an amazing lady and thank you so much. The food was amazing on the day of the wedding, as was confirmed by all our guests! The presentation was amazing of each course. The grounds looked amazing and everything was so clean. It was brilliant to have our friends and families out in the gardens on the day. Perfect photo. How the staff on the front desk and management that met us as we arrived was so courteous and made us feel truly special on our wedding day. Thank you. Even down to the detail of leaving the registration plates in the bridal suite when we arrived later on! It was small but big details that we really appreciated.
