8.6.19 From the moment I first viewed Keavil House Hotel I knew this would be my wedding venue. The grounds are stunning and the function rooms equally beautiful. We choose the Mountbatten suite as suited us best for numbers. We met with Craig and he became our wedding coordinator. He was so supportive and helpful in planning our wedding. I couldn't have asked anymore of him. On the day the staff were so attentive and helpful. I really couldn't have asked for anymore. Unlike other wedding venues we looked at the coordinator you plan with is there on the day with you. I found this to be a really nice touch. Craig was amazing on the day and kept the day flowing as it should. Mags ( I think that was her name) really stood out for us too. She was amazing in helping us throughout the day also. Some members of my family also commented on how great she was. Overall we couldn't have been happier with our day. If you are thinking about Keavil House Hotel for your day. Go for it you won't regret it

We had an absolutely fantastic wedding at Keavil House Hotel. Everyone on staff, from housekeeping through to management, was friendly, helpful and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and staff went out of their way to make the whole weekend unforgettable. Craig, who was our organiser, was brilliant. He kept everything on track and ensured everyone knew what was happening and when. He even spotted my dad becoming somewhat emotional and led him away to a quiet spot to gather himself in peace. I really cannot praise everyone involved highly enough.

After much consideration we chose a wedding package at the keavil house hotel for our big day. It was the best choice we could have made as not only was the wedding package an amazing deal but it includes many fine aspects of the wedding which may he easily overlooked. Due the dedication and hard work of the staff our big day was absolutely flawless, with a great 3 course meal and drinks. Our ceremony, meal and reception were all amazing with everyone having a great time. Not only were we impressed, it has left a lasting impression with all of our guests who constantly commented on how well our day went as well as the high standards which were displayed throughout the day. The venue is beautiful both inside and outside with our photographer absolutely blown away with our photos, however we did get lucky with the weather! Overall I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone as they could not have done more to ensure we had the perfect day! Alistair and his staff are dedicated and flawless in their planning and delivery of the wedding.

My wedding wouldn’t have been what it was without the staff at Keavil House!! From the get go I knew I wanted to book a venue that allowed me to have my own touches and have whatever I wanted ( within reason of course ) on my wedding day! When I met wedding co-ordinate Morag she blew me away. Nothing that I was saying I wanted to do was frowned upon or not allowed. She basically said I can have and do what I want, it’s my wedding day. This is exactly what sold it to me, she was so laid back, so understanding and knew exactly How a wedding should be done! When I saw the Elgin suite it was exactly what I wanted for my wedding day! This on top of the freedom to have what I wanted was enough for me to book my wedding date right there and then!! Morag and Craig were there from the get go, nothing was too much and everything I asked or was worried about was soon sorted out! As for my wedding day everything was absolutely PERFECT!!! Everything was exactly how I imagined and what I wanted for my day! This would not have been possible without my suppliers, which were recommended by Keavil House, the staff on my wedding day and also Morag!!! She is an angel who wants nothing more than to see the bride and groom happy!! It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Morag and Craig, I can honestly not speak more highly of these two!! Staff in the Elgin suite on my wedding day were amazing, especially Mags. They all attended to my young baby girl taking her walks in her pram and entertained which is more than what they are asked of on the day! I can’t thank them enough!! From start to finish my dealings with Keavil House have been nothing but fantastic and I can not recommend this venue enough!! It made my wedding day what it is for me and my husband and for the guests as they also could not speak more highly of our wedding day! A day we will never forget thanks to Keavil House Hotel!!

We were so impressed I sent a thank you letter straight away to Morag Drummond and the rest of the team, the text of which is copied below... From our very first meeting with you we knew we were going to be happy with putting our wedding in your hands. However, the days events surpassed our expectations, and we wanted to express our gratitude specifically to you and your team for making it happen. Your counsel through our meetings of organisation has been exemplary and it is obvious you really know how to make a couple's special day extra special. You took any potential pressure off at every given opportunity, and for this we are particularly thankful for, as you know, we were very much looking for a stress-free event. Your flexibility throughout the day and the days leading up to the event, particularly in regards the numbers attending, epitomises your approach generally, coupled with the rigour and control you applied to keeping the day running exactly on plan - something else we very much appreciated. Everything surpassed our expectation; the food, the service, all the staff (who were brilliant), the decor, DJ Bill, and you even ensured it didn't rain so we could get photographs out in your grounds. We have had great feedback from our guests, with them expressing their unanimous pleasure. A simple letter really cannot express just how grateful we are; we would recommend Keavil House Hotel as a venue to anyone contemplating a wedding, but this would be caveated by directing them to having you as a key component in their planning and delivery - you really have been that significant. I highly recommend the Keavil House as a Wedding Venue - ceremony, reception and plenty of comfortable accommodation for guests. We were taken care of from start to finish, from the very first planning conversation to the end of the night. The package included DJ (fantastic night of dancing guaranteed from DJ Bill!), the chair covers, beautiful menu, canapes, drinks, the Table and room decoration (absolutely perfect and completely brought our vision to life through the amazing Hayley). The staff throughout, from the housekeepers in the corridoors, to the servers for dinner, to the bar staff - friendly, professional and can't comment enough on how fantastic they all were. Craig took total ownership of every minute of our day, it was organised and flowed seamlessly from start to finish. His attention to detail and guidance throughout all the pre planning was just brilliant. Thank You. If you want a fantastic all in one place venue for your big day then Keavil House is perfect.

Had a fantastic day on our big day, and Craig our wedding planner was spot on with everything, nothing was an issue, they catered for every need that we had. The big day went as planned and no issues at all we could not fault the keavil house and their staff. Reasonably priced as well. Rooms were clean. Food was amazing they even gave us seconds. As I said could not fault anyone or anything on our big day, could not have been any better.

Absolutely incredible venue to have our special day. The staff go above and beyond to ensure they meet your vision and make your dream wedding a reality. Nothing was too much hassle and all our requests were granted. Our guests are still commenting on the lovely food, rooms and staff. A big thank you to Craig, our wedding coordinator. The Keavil House Hotel went over and above our expectations on our wedding day and all the build up to it. Craig was especially amazing and could not do enough for us. All of our guests commented on how fantastic the service and food was. Every little detail was catered for and our whole day was such a smooth transition throughout. We looked at various venues throughout fife and had the best service and feeling about The Keavil and we were not wrong. We had the Elgin Suite and it was just perfect!

Well what can I say? From start to finish this was the best venue we could have imagined. Craig our wedding coordinator was always on hand with any questions and pestering emails I had. From the time of booking right through to the morning after the wedding we could not have asked for more effort from a venue. Mags who was working the family meal we had the night before is another absolute gem of a woman, she was also there throughout the wedding the next day and she was an excellent addition to the day, with her preparations, having a glass of water ready for me before walking down the aisle for the dry throat I got, Craig keeping me calm when some of our wedding guests were late, and when my feet started to get sore he got me through to the first dance in my shoes before appearing at the side of the room with a pair of hotel slippers for me! What a team there is at Keavil house! Fantastic! Would do it all again and we would most definitely do it all again at Keavil! Full marks, 5 stars, the whole lot! Love love love!

Could not recommend the Keavil House Hotel enough! Throughout planning our wedding the staff were fantastic especially Craig who allowed our day to be just the way we wanted. Honestly our wedding was the best day ever, everything seemed to just flow and that’s down to all the staff making it all happen around us. The food was absolutely exceptional and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed it. It was a proper plate of food not like any other wedding venues when it’s the smallest plate of food possible. The Dj Bill who came with our package was excellent. The dance floor was NEVER empty and he fullfilled our wishes on playing all the music we wanted- even the polish songs for all the polls attending. We just couldn’t have wished for a better day and that’s partly down to all the staff at the Keavil, thank you again!!

Thank you for making our wedding an amazing day. Everything was decorated as we chose and the venue looked amazing. The Keavil House Hotel is a stunning vevue. The staff pay attention to detail ensuring that you receive the wow factor on your big day. Morag was our wedding coordinator and pulled out all the stops to make sure we had such a memorable wedding! She was so attentive and listened carefully to exactly what kind of day we wanted ensuring it was our own unique special day. Nothing was too much trouble for her, we are extremely thankful. Margaret was also fantastic on and helped everything to run smoothly. The food was tasty and well presented receiving lots of compliments by the guests. Fraser and I loved Keavil House - for our wedding, and to stay the night. The room looked stunning, everything was well organised, the food was fantastic, and the staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly - nothing was too much to ask. Morag, our wedding co-ordinator, was absolutely amazing as well. Our guests had a great time, and we really did have the perfect day! Thank you.

Fantastic from start to finish. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and our guests. Such a great venue! A special thank you to Craig our wedding coordinator and to the staff. In particular one member of staff (gutted we didn’t get her name, young, short blonde hair). She went over and above to include our little girl Sophie with helping with the hall decoration and also going to, or asking another member of staff to nip to Tesco and get spare underwear for our little one. Myself and (new) husband recently got married in the Keavil house hotel, I personally stayed for 2 nights, I stayed Friday - Saturday with family then Saturday to Sunday with my husband. We also had a family meal on the Friday night. The rooms were perfect, extremely comfy beds, they are to die for (and I’m a fussy sleeper) every staff member I came across were beyond friendly, from when I checked in Liz the receptionist couldn’t do any more to make me feel comfy filling me with confidence that she is there for my every need, when we went for breakfast on the Saturday it was very busy but this didn’t make us feel any less important. On my wedding day itself I was made to feel exceptionally calm but Alistair (GM) who was looking after our day, on the lead up to my event nothing was too much for Alistair even with the final little changes, the staff members that aided in the running of our wedding kept me calm providing me with little “nuggets” of information- such as lift my dress at waist so I can sit comfy, I was kept informed at each stage and everything ran smoothly and no issues. On the Sunday when we went for breakfast one of the morning breakfast staff - I want to say Connor was exceptional friendly and spent sometime chatting about our wedding and general chit chat. Finally the duty manager - Iren who I first met the Sunday prior to My wedding Who has suggested with the weather being so nice that we considered getting married in the beautiful gardens, this was the best call as it’s got so many compliments from our guests and some cracking photos, Iren also took over looking after our wedding in the evening and she was exceptionally bubbly yet kept everything running smoothly and kept us informed at every stage, I then met Iren again on the morning after, she remained bubbly and full of energy and was happy making sure we had all of our items from the wedding. I honestly can’t fault this hotel, staff members are amazing, food is lovely and the running of our wedding is beyond excellent.

Craig and his dedicated team at The Keavil House Hotel ensured our day went flawlessly. The whole team certainly know how to put a wedding together. The attention to detail, explaination of how the day was going to run whilst updating us through every step, reassuring me before i went down the aisle, accomodating our needs whilst also being friendly and attentive throughout the whole day. We had an awesome day and it was even more special knowing that staff clearly had passion in their job and a desire to make our day a success. We absolutely would not hesitate in recommending The Keavil House Hotel for a wedding or any other event for that matter. The value for money for the wedding package we chose was unbelieveable and we are still baffled as to how they can provide such a quality package and service at such a reasonable cost! A big thanks to our wedding coordinator Craig who certainly knows his job and left us with no doubt in our mind that our day was going to run smoothly and be as stress-free as possible.
