Since our wedding at the Kingsley, we have heard the most amazing feedback from our guests about the hotel. Some of our guests have said it was the best wedding they were ever at. The food was perfect - we couldn't have hoped for a better meal for our guests. The staff from the beginning were fantastic to deal with. From when I made our initial enquiry, I found the staff to be professional, responsive and genuinely motivated to make our day special for us. We dealt with Roisin mainly and she was such a pleasure deal with. Our day went so smoothly - you could feel that Roisin had everything under control and was invested in ensuring we had the best day of our lives. Our wedding day was the most amazing day of our lives and the Kingsley was a huge part of making this happen. I could not recommend them highly enough.

From the first day we walked through the doors of The Kingsley to see if it was as good as the reviews we had heard and read,we knew straight away it was our wedding venue!The whole team were amazing from start to finish and no request was too big, too small or out of reach. The staff were there every step of the way in our planning and at the end of the phone whenever we needed them. Friendly, caring, helpful and supportive are just a few ways to describe the staff. Our Wedding day at the Kingsley ran so smoothly from start to finish. The main reason for this was the professionalism and attention to detail of all the staff who were involved on the day and in the lead up. In particular, Róisín and Jibin were amazing, looking after our every wish and request, nothing was ever an issue. Through the planning process Róisín really got behind our vision for the day, and carried it out exactly as we wanted. It was great to leave things in Róisíns hands knowing they would be carried out exactly as we had envisioned. The day ended up being really relaxing as we knew we were in good hands.All of our guests commented on how beautiful the hotel was, and how amazing the food was. The food was of extremely high quality and the service was excellent to match.We can't thank the staff at The Kingsley for making our day so intimate, stress-free and special.

Our main aim for our wedding day was that it would be happy and relaxed, and thanks to the Kingsley it was both. Roisin helped us plan our day and nothing was a problem. She is such a lovely person and the ideal wedding planner. Everyone still raves about fantastic food, friendly atmosphere and table service which was second to none. Our memories of our wedding day still bring the biggest smile to our faces. We were so happy with our hotel choice and would definitely recommend it and its lovely employee.

How do you leave a review for a place that truly warrants a visit if you are even thinking of using a hotel for your wedding? Where do I start… from our first time entering the hotel as a Sunday venture to check out the venue and a spot of lunch, resulting in getting a private tour, by Jibin, of all of the hotel facilitates including the penthouse, guest bedrooms and spa, with no appointment made but we were made feel at home. Truthfully, we fell in love with it right there and then, if only for the staff and their genuine attentiveness. On meeting with Paul to discuss the nitty gritty and later on with Roisin for the final details of the day and the lead up, I knew I had no issue with allowing Roisin to roll with and successful pull off all our little quirks, ideas, attention to detail and tastes as nothing was a problem. When organising a wedding you soon find out that it is not possible to do everything yourself but the trick is to discover suppliers that you can trust who will deliver, alleviating you of that particular stress and more time for enjoyment on your special day, this is the Kingsley Hotel for sure. We are married 7 weeks and we are still hearing stories back about the attention to detail, the layout in the drinks reception, the wedding meal and the service down to the bedrooms and breakfast. You say it’s hard to please everyone but not to sound boastful but teaming up with the Kingsley Hotel “Yes it is possible”. Finally the Kingsley team gets 5 stars from us as a wedding venue because they make you and everyone else attending your wedding a part of their family on that day. On the year anniversary of our Wedding we look back on the day with fantastic memories. The Kingsley Hotel were so fantastic to deal with on every aspect of the day from menu planning, to room decorations and guest rooms etc... and very agreeable to lots of non standard requests we made. On the day itself they were so professional, constantly supporting my Husband and I, our bridal party and even our parents. Ensuring we had water on a warm day as we circulated through our guests and checking in on us and all the guests throughout the evening. We could not have asked for more so much so that our guests still talk about the fantastic venue.

We had our wedding on the 17th of September 2016, and I have to say I wouldn't change it for the world. The hotel wedding co-ordinator went above and beyond for us in every single way, the staff on the day also couldn't do enough for us and our guests, the food was excellent, 5 star, and even went around with seconds for our guests. It's in a perfect location with stunning views of the River Lee and Sundays Well. We had the penthouse for 2 nights and may I say you would have to see it to believe it, outstanding. The room where we had our drinks reception and dinner were cosy comfortable and intimate. I really cant say enough about the Kingsley.

Where can I start, from the moment we entered the Kingsley we were sure this was the place for us, when we met Paul and Roisin we were sure we were in good hands. Roisin could not have done any more for us, especially the little details. On the day of our wedding everything was amazing, the food was outstanding, no one left hungry and the compliments we received from our guests about the food!! The staff in The Kingsley are 5 stars and nothing was any trouble. We stayed in the penthouse for 3 nights which was the most magical place ever. I can honestly say that Roisin and everyone at the Kingsley were absolutely amazing - thank ye all for the most perfect day of my dreams.

We just had the most fantastic, wonderful and special wedding at Kingsley Hotel, Cork. As a Cork person myself where home is not that far from the hotel I was so pleasantly pleased that such a wonderful gem of a wedding hotel was on my doorstep.The whole experience was everything we could have wished for - and more - both ourselves and our guests continue to speak of the amazing quality of the hotel food, the customer service and the overall ambience and facilities.I live in Dublin so organizing a wedding when not local can take more time and effort but from the moment Ronan and I engaged with the Wedding Team at the Kingsley, we were extremely confident that the team had the knowledge and experience to demonstrate that we would have very minimal involvement in the main event. The attention that the staff, in particular, the dedicated Wedding planner, Roisin, gave to both my mum and dad and ourselves was second to none. The team were extremely helpful in the preparation stage and also on the day by setting up the room exactly as required and also putting a professional touch to the area around the room. They accommodated our request to have the cake cutting earlier in the beautiful area overlooking the water front and also where we had some of the speeches.The food was fantastic and in plentiful amount through the day. From the afternoon tea to the evening meal we were extremely delighted with the quality and overall service to the tables. The staff were amazing on the night accommodating all the needs of the team and looking after each and everyone of the guests.Overall we would love to recommend this hotel for the sheer 5* service, the professional wedding planning service and their ability to adapt and be flexible to our needs throughout the preparation and on the day. We had our wedding in April and everything from the initial organising to the actual day went off without a hitch. Roisin the event planner kept in touch with me regularly in the months coming up to the wedding and generally made things extremely easy for me. The food on the day was unbelievable and the service from all the staff was second to none. They went above and beyond to make all of us so welcome for the entire weekend and the room for the reception was exceptionally beautiful. I would totally recommend anyone to go look at the Kingsley for their wedding venue. Loaction, rooms, staff, food...all 5 star.

Simply outstanding.I can't say enough good things about our wedding day or the run up to it. From the first day we enquired all the way though to the day itself, I really felt like the team in the Kingsley were onboard with us. No question was too big or too small, absolutely nothing beyond the care and attention of Michelle our wedding coordinator.We had great fun as daft as it sound with Michelle and Paul during our meetings where we gave an over view of what we wanted and they came back with helpful suggestions. It was a complete team event. We absolutely knew we were in good hands. Between the stunning suite for the event to the penthouse set up and the glorious food, we had a great day. I can' say hand on heart things ran more smoothly than I thought possible.Service for us and our guests was important to us and team Kingsley delivered in spades, the care and attention for everyone was brilliant.For probably the millionth time, thanks again to everyone for the help in pulling off our big day. We got so lucky with the weather but we had other great options inside the hotel for photos as well - so it just goes to show, the Kingsley have a solution for everything! I couldn't fault them.

We got married at the Kingsley last Christmas and it was really fantastic. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I was not exactly Bridezilla; to be honest I was pretty disorganised, planning a wedding on lunch breaks. But we ended up having a great wedding, thanks to the staff at the Kingsley who talked me through the whole thing, suggested great suppliers, and worked really well with all our special requests. My one 'bridezilla' thing was food: I don't eat meat and have loads of allergies, and my husband is also a fussy eater. All our awkward food requests were accommodated without the slightest hassle, and we ended up gorgeous dishes for us and our guests. We were really impressed that every course was served to every table at the same time so we were really having a meal with all our friends rather than us being on dessert while some tables were still getting starters. Lots of our guests commented on this too. The decor in the Kingsley looked gorgeous and we got some really atmospheric photos there. I am delighted we chose the Kingsley for our wedding reception. It could not have gone better and 7 months on we are still hearing compliments on it.
