The staff were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Our wedding coordinator, Lara, is just the best! From the first email until the wedding day, Lara was there for us 24/7. Nothing was too big or too much trouble. A big mention to all the staff on the day, especially Matthew and Andrew, who looked after us extremely well all day and night! We fell in love with Connemara Coast Hotel when we first walked in the door. The beautiful reception was so warm and welcoming. We met with the wedding coordinator, Lara, who showed us around the venue. We were stunned by the views on the terrace which can be seen as you are seated in the function room. These views provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. The gazebo is a gorgeous feature that can be used in many ways on your big day. It is featured on our save-the-date cards, wedding invitations and menus. You don't need to leave the grounds for photos as the venue is abundant with photo opportunities inside as well as outside. The function room itself is to die for. It's very bright, pretty and classy. Lara will make sure everything is just as it's supposed to be on your big day. I cannot say enough good words about her. She is on top of EVERYTHING! She went above and beyond for us in the lead-up and made us feel at ease on our special day. Our guests are still raving about the venue, friendly staff, gorgeous location, top-quality food, fabulous accommodation and the amazing Lara. If we were to do it all again, we would choose the Connemara Coast Hotel in a heartbeat!

Our wedding at the Connemara Coast was the most amazing day! We felt so at ease with Lara and her team, they did everything to the highest standard, and all our requests were made. Kieran and I got married on the 17th of May where we had both our wedding ceremony and our wedding reception in the Connemara Coast Hotel. From the very first time we met the wedding co-ordinators Brian and Lara we had such a positive experience. They always made us feel at ease and were very helpful throughout the entire planning process. The views and surroundings of the hotel are breathtaking, making it the perfect setting for a wedding or any special occasion. The photos we have in and around the hotel are really amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful adding to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. On the day, the sun was shining and our guests got to enjoy the reception drinks on the beautiful, spacious terrace at the back of the hotel with stunning views of the sea and the Burren. The food on the day went down a treat - one of our main choices was the Irish Braised Short Rib Beef which was absolutely delicious with many of our guests still talking about how good it was! For any brides to be, the bridal suite is perfect for morning preparations with plenty of space for hair & make up - it has great lighting with a sliding door onto a balcony area. We couldnt have been happier with our venue choice. Thanks to all the hotel staff who made our wedding day so special.

Ciara and I married on Friday. We had both our ceremony and wedding breakfast in the hotel and it was fabulous!!! Plentiful food, beautiful ambiance, and loads of craic. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming, and helpful. The food and wine were plentiful and delicious and our friends commented on both the unusual quality of the wine and food for a wedding. The whole day was a dream come true for my lovely new wife and her being so happy made me equally so. A particular thanks is due to Lara and Brian ably assisted by Nia, Andrew, and Evan. What an unbelievable experience we had getting married at the Connemara Coast Hotel. We had to cancel twice due to the pandemic and so it was a highly anticipated 3rd go! Saoirse, Brian and the entire team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. We could not have had a more special day and every one our guests agreed that the experience and service was faultless at every level. We felt so special (and more importantly relaxed) on the big day because we knew everything was completely under control. The ceremony was set up beautifully down in the gorgeous gazebo and the reception room was simply stunning. It was better than we could have ever imagined. It was a day to cherish and we can’t imagine having done it anywhere else. The setting is magnificent and it truly is a magical place. I’d like to give a special mention to the waiting staff and the bar staff who were professionals while also being so much fun to chat to. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone felt so well looked after. Every time we think back on the day we are so happy we chose the Connemara Coast as the place to finally tie the knot. Thanks to everyone at the Coast for giving us the best day of our lives.

We recently had our wedding in the Connemara Coast. We had the best day of our lives. The service was exceptional, the staff couldn't do more for our guests, they were so friendly and helpful. The wedding co-ordinator Saoirse literally took all worries and stresses away from us. Everything from start to finish was easy and enjoyable. The operations manager Michael couldn't have done more for us even the breakfast staff the next morning were so friendly and helpful. Our room was incredible and the views were out of this world. We had all our wedding pictures taken on site which saved so much time. We are just blown away by the service. I could not recommend enough.

Once we made contact with your wedding coordinator, we were very impressed with all the different options we were given. Even when we had a change of wedding coordinator things still went very smoothly as our wedding day approached. On our wedding day, Brian and all the staff could not do enough for us and made us feel very relaxed. The feedback from all our guests was extremely positive and we would not be surprised if you got a number of enquiries about other weddings following ours. John and I would highly recommend your hotel as from start to finish (in the early morning) we could not have asked for more. We cannot finish without mentioning the food, it was excellent. Outside you are literally on the bay overlooking all of Connemara, the views are breathtaking and we were incredibly lucky to be able to get married outside overlooking the sea. Brian, Saoirse and the whole team made us feel so relaxed and you could chat to them like normal people while also being made to feel like you were in the hands of professionals and wow did they deliver on the day! Every single detail was taken care of from start to finish, our guests raved about the delicious food, the kindness of every staff member they encountered but especially the incredible backdrop of the sea for the ceremony and the reception. Brian made us feel totally at ease and ensured every detail was tended to, nothing was too much trouble and the entire day was just so perfect from start to finish. The Connemara Coast Hotel exceeded our expectations and made our wedding day even better than we could have imagined! From the initial meetings with Chloe and Brian through the interactions with Jonathan and all of the staff throughout the journey, we could not have been happier with the service and welcoming we received. The venue itself is a recently refurbished, high quality and well maintained hotel with scenery of Galway Bay that speaks for itself and only added to our guests experiences. We loved being at a wedding venue that had staff from the locality and you could feel the family like atmosphere in the hotel and it made us and all of our guests feel at home. The wedding room itself is backed onto a view of Galway Bay that will have your guests in awe when they see it and it comfortably accommodated our 214 guests and the adjacent bar was non stop throughout the day but was well staffed to cope with large numbers. The food standards at the meal time, breakfast times, in the front bar and at our after party BBQ were all exceptional and the delivery of them was impressive considering there were 3 weddings on the same weekend as ours. With regards to accommodation of special requests Chloe, our wedding coordinator, could not have been more helpful and almost anything we asked for was given a "Not a problem" response. We were allowed the freedom to make our day special and unique to us and the set up staff of the Connemara Coast done a great job of setting up the room and all of our unique items, even though it was outside their job scope. Cannot rate our experience highly enough! As a couple, we wanted a venue that was a little bit more "country" than your castle venues and city based hotel venues and the Connemara Coast provided the perfect blend of a high quality hotel with fantastic rooms and roots in the community of Furbo in Galway allowing a better atmosphere for all of our guests!

From the moment we walked through the doors of the Connemara Coast Hotel, we knew we had to have our wedding reception there. This hotel has everything, it is fabulous throughout, it has so many great locations for photos within the hotel, especially on the stunning staircase and it has the most picturesque landscape for outdoor photographs and this fabulous view is also the backdrop view from the function room. The staff are so friendly and professional, the Wedding Manager Chloe O Neill is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, she has such a calm presence and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Her kindness and understanding made it so easy to plan the perfect day. And it was the perfect day in every way, Chloe was there to meet us on arrival and to ensure everything ran smoothly throughout the day, the function room looked magnificent, she is simply the best and it's no surprise that this hotel won Best Wedding Venue in Connacht 2021. No words can fully describe just how fantastic the Connemara Coast Hotel is, it has a magic that draws you back and we return every chance we get. The events and kitchen team pulled out all the stops to accommodate any and all of our special requests and even suggested some of their own so that our day was as special to us as possible (e.g. incorporating elements of Italian cuisine into the menu as we had an Italian/Irish wedding). On the wedding day itself, it felt fantastic to be in the hands of real professionals. From the moment we stepped through the door, they handles everything for us, effortlessly guiding us from one part of the day to the next while also ensuring we took time out for ourselves to enjoy every moment as much as possible. They also effectively liaised with all our suppliers on the day, like the band, photo booth and many more. Everything came together perfectly. At very short notice on our part, they also provided us with a lovely less formal space to enjoy ourselves on 'Day 2'. All in all, we couldn't have asked for anything more from the day and from the team at the hotel. We ust wanted to thank everyone in Connemara Coast Hotel for our fairytale wedding. The staff took care of every detail and we loved every second of our special day. I can’t tell you how many people said what a beautiful setting the Connemara Coast Hotel has. Thank you to Connemara Coast Hotel and their team for the perfect day. This is a very beautiful place with a fantastic views of the ocean. Our winter wedding was perfect. The Connemara Coast Hotel team were accommodating and enthusiastic throughout the planning process. We were able to add as much or as little of our own personal touches as we wanted. When our wedding was postponed due to lockdown, they were flexible and supportive and we never lost hope that our day would still be amazing. It’s the perfect location for amazing photos, so many great spots inside and out. Everyone loved the food! Literally nothing bad to say about this incredible venue The staff went above and beyond to help us and the whole day and night went so well, and the venue looked amazing! All the staff did an excellent job always answering our emails and questions and were very kind and welcoming to us both and all our guests. Our host for the day was also unreal! She went above and beyond to help us out with anything and was very accommodating with any changes and keeping everything else on schedule. So thank you Chloe. The food was also amazing and we had so much excellent feedback from our guests about the food from start to finish and how great the room was set up and the Connemara Coast Hotel as a whole. Would definitely recommend!

We just had our civil ceremony at Connemara Coast Hotel on Friday 19th of November, and it couldn't have been more perfect! We started planning our wedding December, 2020, and the country was in lockdown, but as we are from Connemara we were able to visit the venue. We both fell in love with it, and the location was just perfect for us. We didn't look at any other hotel once we saw the Connemara Coast Hotel. We were planning on a small intimate wedding, restrictions or not, and had 12 for our ceremony, and 60 for our reception. Both function rooms for the civil ceremony and reception were beautifully decorated, very elegant and classic just how I wanted. The views out of the function room are amazing. We used the gazebo for wedding shots, and I'm sure they will come out amazing. We had Santa call the guest for dinner, which was a nice treat for the kiddies. The food was excellent, and it came out quick, with lovely presentation. No one's wine glass was empty, the staff came around quick enough to top it up. The hotel staff couldn't do enough for us. The suite we had was beautifully decorated, and very spacious which was great for me as I used it to get ready in. There was plenty of room for the hairdresser and make-up artist to do their thing. I have had people say to me they are going to look into Connemara Coast Hotel now, after being at my wedding. It really is a lovely venue for a wedding. I can't recommend it enough.

Chloe and the team at Connemara Coast Hotel were brilliant. They were a delight to deal with, from the day we first visited Connemara Coast Hotel. The venue was perfect, and the pergola was beautiful for pictures at sunset. We were fortunate enough to have our reception on the terrace, which provided a stunning view for our guests to enjoy. The food was exceptional, the room was beautifully decorated and the day flowed perfectly. We would highly recommend Connemara Coast Hotel to any couples wanting to have a perfect, hassle-free day.

Well what can we say about Connemara Coast Hotel except that it was on the top of our list from the beginning and certainly lived up to our expectations in every way. The stunning location, views and the hotel itself are amazing. From the reception area to the function room and the beautiful bridal suite, everything is gorgeous. My husband, Niall, and I got married at Connemara Coast Hotel on October 22nd, 2021. We met with Chloe, the wedding coordinator, for the first time back in September, 2020, and we were delighted to book our big day with Chloe and her team at the hotel. Chloe was brilliant to work with in the run up to the wedding, and as we planned out the finer details, there was no request that was too big or too small. Chloe, Johnathan (the General Manager) and their team were on hand on the day and looked after us and our guests so well. The main comments we got from guests after the wedding were how amazing the hotel was, including the rooms, the ballroom and the setting (AMAZING views from the ballroom!). Also how good the food was on the day of the wedding and over the course of the weekend, and how helpful and friendly the staff were. We agree wholeheartedly with all of these comments and further want to add how incredible the staff were. From Chloe to Johnathan, Anne at Reception (who was always so warm, friendly and welcoming), Ranko, Mark, Alan, the chef, to name a few, and all of the catering, restaurant and bar staff, everyone there is such a credit to the hotel and really made the weekend special for us. We have some great memories of our wedding weekend at Connemara Coast Hotel. My husband Niall and I will be back to the hotel, as will a lot of our guests in the future. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a venue. It truly has it all.
