Firstly, anyone looking to get married should check out this hotel immediately. Secondly, anyone, in general, wanting an incredibly romantic/relaxing getaway should travel here for an incredible food/service/spa/beach experience. My partner and I got married at the weekend, and while weddings are naturally stressful Nicola managed everything with perfect grace. Our expectations were surpassed by the ease at which Michelin star quality food was served to over 200 people with perfect precision- and we had asked for quite a lot of amendments to the menu! The timing was managed perfectly, we had a stunning wedding outside and every precious object that was placed in the main room was returned in perfect condition. We had a Sudanese barbecue the second day and again, we were amazed at the food quality and the ease at which a large group was served. A special shout out to Ruadhan who was the most helpful and warmest server we encountered throughout the wedding and at breakfast. He made sure that everything was looked after and is an incredible asset to the hotel. We couldn't have asked for anything more and felt so lucky to have gotten such A* service for an extremely reasonable price. I would not only recommend this hotel but will strongly encourage any engaged couple to check it out! We can't wait to go back there and our studio in Dublin will now seem like a shoebox in comparison to the luxurious suite which was impeccably furnished. My parents stayed in the apartments nearby which were also extremely reasonably priced considering the size and amenities. We have now been here on three occasions and cannot fault it whatsoever. We had a fabulous day at our recent wedding at Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa. The wedding coordinators, and all the staff, really looked after us on the day itself and in the lead up to the big day. A special thanks to Nicola and Olivia who ensured everything ran smoothly and for providing advice and support throughout the wedding preparations. The meal was absolutely amazing, with very smooth service and delicious food. Our guests are still commenting on how amazing the meal was! We would highly recommend Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa for a great wedding reception venue. This is a family run hotel whose focus, in our experience, was to ensure that the bridal party and the guests had an amazing weekend.

We recently had our wedding reception at Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa and couldn't be more happy with our decision to celebrate there. Having grown up in Clonakilty I had spent a lot of time at Inchydoney beach over the years and when we got engaged Inchydoney was my first choice however I had never really appreciated how much of a lovely venue it was until our wedding day. Quite a few of our guests travelled from the UK to be with us and stayed at the hotel. All of them have said that they will be back! As we now live in the UK planning a wedding at home could sometimes be tricky however the team at Inchydoney were always incredibly prompt at getting back to me and responding to my emails. The weekends that I had at home in the lead up to the wedding were limited but Nicola and Olivia were always flexible and accommodating with the appointments that they could offer me to come and go over the details face to face. The day itself went like clockwork. Having decorated one table myself Nicola and the team dressed the rest of the room perfectly. She even used her own candle holders for me as that was the one thing that I had overlooked. The waiting staff and bar staff were so attentive, no one had to wait to be served at the bar and as soon as anyone asked for anything it appeared. And the food was just amazing!! We chose beef or monkfish as our options and all of the beef was cooked perfectly to every guests specification. There were even seconds and thirds of all the meat and fish. There wasn't one complaint from our 112 guests. Inhcydoney Island Lodge and Spa was a perfect choice and I would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding.

We recently got married and just wanted to thank Inchydoney for making our wedding so special. Our overall experience was amazing. We could not have wished for better. The food was absolutely amazing and all our guests are still raving about the fantastic meal. The staff are wonderful, friendly and very accommodating. We could not have asked for a better venue or staff to help us have such a fantastic day. I would highly recommend this hotel for any couple getting married.

We had our wedding at Inchydoney Island in September. From start to finish the day was amazing. Olivia made sure that everything ran smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day. The attention to detail was second to none and all of our requests were accomodated on the day which made it stress free. All of our guests enjoyed the amazing setting with the breath taking views which can be seen from the function rooms. We couldn't recommend Inchydoney highly enough. Service, food and venue were second to none!

Once we got enagaged we knew there was only one hotel we wanted to have our reception at. Inchydoney Lodge & Spa! Besides the obvious breathtaking settings the hotel ticks so many other boxes for us. In the build there was never a request too big for the hotel in helping make our day as unique and special as possible. We got the extra surprise of a gorgeous newly decorated function room! The food was to die for and on the day everyone was more than complementary. We enjoyed a evening of tasting with our families and the staff were more than helpful in making the adjustments we wanted! Between the hotel rooms and adjoining apartments there was accommodation to suit everyone to stay, enjoy the night and wake up to such gorgeous views! The day itself ran so smoothly and if there was any problems and the staff were so professional yet so welcoming to everyone. There was no pressure with timings or deadlines..everything just flowed! We can’t thank and recommend Lisa, Olivia and the rest of the staff enough!

We spent a weekend in Cork reviewing potential venues all over the county but from the minute we landed at Inchydoney, no other venue was in with a chance. Whilst the breath taking sea views were captivating and a real attraction, Inchydoney's unique selling point, which really set it apart for us, as our wedding venue, was the friendliness, warmth and helpfulness of the staff. We met with Olivia the wedding co-ordinator that first day and got to know her and her colleagues Nicola, restaurant manager Aoife and hotel manager Catriona in the months leading up to our wedding. The staff were so lovely and worked with us to ensure that everything was as we wanted it on our special day. It really made the whole lead up to the wedding day itself relatively stress free and we were more than re-assured that Catriona, Olivia and their team of colleagues had it all under control. Conor and I are forever grateful and we and all of our guests had a truly wonderful day. I could not recommend the venue more... it really is a very special place.

We had our wedding in Inchydoney in early October 2017. We had viewed a number of different hotels but one wet and windy morning in February we viewed Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa. We both knew this would be the venue for our wedding. There was something very special about Inchydoney, the setting, the library, the function room, the view of the sea from the top table... It's just perfect!! From the first time we spoke to Olivia and the wedding team, through to our tasting and on to our day they could not have done enough to accommodate our needs, offer suggestions, work with our plans and always offered advice whenever we needed it. Small things like taking the time the week of the wedding to run through every minute details settled our nerves. On the day from our guests arrival at the drinks reception right though to the meal, evening food etc the service and in particular the quality and presentation of the food was phenomenal. We opted for Fillet Steak ( cooked to each individual's choice) and the Monkfish as the choices for main course, our guests are still talking about the food and service Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa had provided. Olivia was fantastic from start to finish. We both loved Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa and could not recommend this hotel as a wedding venue highly enough. Hi all, We got married a week ago in Inchydoney and I must say it was a fabulous experience from start to finish! The staff were amazing, the guests raved about the food and the hotel could not have been more accommodating to all our requests. Olivia and team made sure that every last detail was thoughtfully planned and executed (plenty of things that I would never even have thought of)! From the day we booked the wedding through to the wedding itself I couldn’t have been happier. There was no hidden charges or last minute changes that I’ve heard of other people in other hotels experiencing. And on the day itself, Frank and I didn’t have to lift a finger, the staff were ten steps ahead of us at every turn. It was great to know our guests were all looked after and every request was catered for. The setting speaks for itself and is of course a gorgeous location. Even at the end of October, plenty of guests went surfing swimming and walking the next day! I would award Inchydoney hotel and all its employees the highest rating possible in any review. They really did go above and beyond and there’s a reason they are so successful in the wedding trade! We could not have been happier with our Inchydoney wedding. The staff were extremely helpful from start to finish - answering questions promptly and offering great suggestions we hadn't considered. On the day of the wedding, they made sure everything went off without a hitch, including an outdoor ceremony overlooking the sea. At our request, they even brought a TV into one corner of the reception room so that our guests could watch the World Cup match without leaving the party. Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended because of the beautiful venue and delicious food. For us, it was everything we had hoped for - a gorgeous day free of stress that we will never forget - all thanks to the staff at Inchydoney.

Inchydoney Lodge and Spa is one of the most spectacular places to get married in. Not only is your breath taken away by the scenery but the service provided by the staff is second to none. When you are planning for your wedding you want everything to be perfect. We chose the Inchydoney Island lodge and spa as the location was wonderful. We didn't realise at that time how the team there was going to make our day such a magical day. They looked after every wish we had and had some lovely ideas themselves. Every little tiny detail was perfect. They went through everything so well beforehand that on our special day there was nothing to worry about. They looked after our guest so well it was as if they were all as special as we were. The food on the day was wonderful and they ensured that everyone had enough. I still look back on our day and see how they looked after everything so professionally. We recently returned for an anniversary stay and we were looked after so well.

It was such a privilege to get married in beautiful sunshine overlooking stunning beaches in one of the most breathtaking locations in Ireland. We’re proud to say that we had the first wedding ceremony on the beautiful front lawn of Inchydoney hotel overlooking the sea in 2013. Even though the Inchydoney hotel had never organised a ceremony outside before, they were highly enthusiastic when we first brought up the concept. They literally created our wedding function room outdoors and while our drinks reception was taking place in the upstairs lounge, the multiple staff reconfigured our outside ceremony indoors into the most beautiful wedding reception room. Multiple other staff catered to our drinks reception and our guests with practically individual catering – nobody was left without a glass or an aperitif. The most impressive thing was that it appeared effortless – as if they did this on a daily basis. Of all the hotels we viewed and considered for our big day, the Inchydoney hotel stood out as a venue that would actually cater to whatever we wanted. What stood out to us was that there were no ‘nos’ or ‘maybes’. We constantly heard – yes we can do that or how would you like it done. From start to finish the day was impeccably executed. It is still commented on by friends and family at other food occasions and weddings that the food and atmosphere at our wedding was outstanding. We are not being biased just because we got married in the Inchydoney hotel but we can wholeheartedly say that if you’re looking for a top class venue with breath taking views and the best staff, we can guarantee you that the Inchydoney hotel is the only venue worth booking.

We had our wedding ceremony & reception at Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa in 2014. From the moment we went to look at the venue we had the most fantastic experience. For a start the venue is just the most stunning you could hope for. Each & every staff member from the wedding organisers to the staff running the day to day goings on of the hotel everyone was so helpful & friendly. Numerous guests at our wedding commented afterwards on how friendly & helpful the staff in the hotel were. Each of the rooms has a beautiful sea view & the bridal suites are just fabulous! I don't even know where to start with how fantastic the food is.......the selection of gorgeous dishes to choose from at the tasting. We chose lamb as one of our mains, which was stunningly good at the tasting but wondered would it translate to the larger wedding number.....it was every bit as delicious on the day.... medium rare or as you requested it....just perfect!! The portion sizes were very generous also & everyone really enjoyed their meal. We also opted for the bbq for our guests for the day after. We got just as good feedback on the food at the bbq. Such a fabulous end to the weekend. I really couldn't recommend the hotel & staff highly enough. I only wish we could get married there every year!!

The Inchydoney hotel were a fantastic help when we were organising our wedding. They made great recommendations and everything went so well on the day. They incorporated all our requests and the dining room looked fantastic on the day. The food was superb and we received many compliments from our guests. On the 21st July 2017, my husband and I had the pleasure of celebrating are wedding at Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa.It was the best day of our lives (so far!!) and this was definitely due to the wonderful service provided by Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa. Our wedding was decided upon in relatively short notice, I rang in January to book a small wedding for 25 people. I dealt with the amazing Olivia, who ran through everything comprehensively and left me in no doubt that everything would be well looked after.then, 7 weeks before the date we had a change of plan and our small wedding of 25 jumped to 170. Again, Olivia took care of everything and nothing was too much trouble.On the day everything was perfect,the hotel looked beautiful, the food was amazing (really, really amazing!!) and the service was EXCEPTIONAL. We highly recommend Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa, you won't be disappointed.

We had our wedding reception in inchydonney may 2014 everything went perfect the staff were amazing when we arrived it was raining and they were so taughtful to have umbrellas at the ready with champagne and stawberries down to the decor and food everything was outstanding my guests spoke so highly for days after of the hotel it was perfect place for pictures aswell i have beautiful pictures ill treasure for ever i really cant say enough about the staff they are really professional love inchydonney its a very special place ❤❤

We got engaged on holiday in Australia and on our return home we immediately booked Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa as our wedding venue for our December 2016 wedding, no other venue was considered or looked at. We booked our date,paid our deposit and went on our way. Anytime we called or emailed in the leading couple of months to the wedding date our queries were dealt with promptly by Amy & Lisa. On the day itself everything even the weather was incredible, we got some fantastic beach and headland photographs to cherish, some beautiful pics of the waves crashing the rocks behind us, you wouldn't have thought it was the 30th of December!. Inside in the cosy intimate drinks reception upstairs in the lounge nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff, the decor looked splendid and the traditional Irish band we had organised belted out the the mystical sounds of the uilleann and panpipes as the guests chatted and mingled away.It was at this point in the day we broke with tradition and the groom said his speech, we opted to do this in the intimate surroundings of this room and relax into the party atmosphere. We continued into the newly refurbished ballroom which looked spectacular.Our guests raved about the food and service all day long. The night was danced away,guests left in the early hours after a great day.We are so thankful to all the team for looking after us so well on our journey, absolutely faultless, well done and continued success to all at Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa, we look forward to our anniversary return. Myself and my husband had our wedding in Inchydoney in August 2013. From start to finish, it was perfect. The venue itself was so scenic overlooking the sea and staff did everything to make our dream wedding come through. At the time, my father was battling cancer and I really felt staff went that extra mile to ensure that everything was superb. From arrival to reception to flexibility, Amy Dorgan and her team met our needs. I really appreciated how Inchydoney hotel staff facilitated the French-Irish traditions such as allowing us to have a buffet style wedding. To this day everyone I meet says the food was the nicest they ever had and it was so plentiful and beautifully presented. Our wedding was so magical and the decor to the table atrangemen y s were outstanding. The bridal suite was top class and the breakfast the following morning was so delicious. We got married on New Year's Eve 2016 and had our reception in Inchydoney. We were 100% happy with our experience there. We received excellent service and care from Amy and Lisa - they listened to any little request we had and it was all executed perfectly on the day. For us food was one of the main priorities and Inchydoney didn't disappoint - the food was superb. Most of our guests opted for the steak; it was cooked to order for each person who ordered it and the reports we heard were all excellent. We can't wait to go back for our anniversary stay. We would both highly recommend Inchydoney island lodge and spa for your big day - amazing location, attentive staff, beautiful rooms and bridal suite and amazing food!

We got married September 2014 at Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa and we couldn't have asked for anymore. We live in Sydney and I honestly thought it was going to be a nightmare trying to organise it from overseas but I was so wrong. The staff were fantastic in everything that they done for us. The food was outstanding, almost every guest commented on the food quality and the quantity, it couldn't have been better. The views and the atmosphere in the dinning room were out of this world. We also had a BBQ the following day for our guest and once again we were blown away by the helpfulness and fantastic attitude all the staff shown us. Down to the smaller details, the staff were extremely accommodating and assisted us in every single element to make our day one of that will always be the best memories we have. Thank your to all the staff at Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa you made our day amazing and extremely worthwhile.

Our wedding in inchydoney in Jan 2013 was very special in more ways than 1. Our guest list consisted of our little 3 years old son Max. We were a couple in late 30s , we has no desire to get married in front of hundreds of people . We had other priorities. We had first visited inchydoney when were celebrating that I was pregnant with Max in 2010. We always said if we were to get married inchydoney would be the place. From the first time I contacted the hotel wedding co ordinator to see if they could accommodate us to the day we left a married couple the staff at the hotel were a pleasure to deal with. We didn't tell any of our family or friends that we were get married so the wedding co ordinator was also our witness at the civil service. The hotel help me organise a hairdresser and make up artist to come to our room the morning of the wedding. And as I didn't have a bridesmaid to help me into the dress , Deirdre the wedding co ordinator also came to the rescue and tied up the back of my dress in my hotel room. The hotel organised our ceremony. And even helped entertain our little boy during the time when we were getting a few photographs. The girls at reception made Max feel very special on the day feeding him strawberries while we were getting our photo taken on that beautiful stair at reception. The intimate wedding we had at inchydoney was made all the more special because the staff and that amazing setting made everything seem surreal. The girls at reception were very excited for us and were interested in how our families would take the news that we eloped to west Cork to get married. They of course we delighted for us.We are a couple who don't like to be centre of attention and our beautiful wedding is remember every day as we are surrounded by beautiful photographs of inchydoney and our special day. We will return soon not as a family of 3 but 4 because on the day I was 3 months pregnant with our beautiful daughter Kaci. Thanks ye were outstanding.
