Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. We were so happy that we chose Mere Court as our wedding venue. Everything from beginning to end was literally perfect and the staff have been amazing the whole way through. We visited on a few occasions before our wedding day and were always made to feel welcome and the staff always took the time to remember both us and our children and make our experience the best we could ask for. Our wedding day was no exception and we felt like the staff were so attentive and professional. Thank you Georgia and Robbie who lead the team on the day and to every other member of staff that helped make our day so special. Mere Court holds a very special place in our hearts and we will no doubt continue to come and stay (especially on our anniversary). We have also had some lovely feedback from our guests including comments like- how beautiful the venue is, how wonderful the staff are, how nice the food was and also how lovely the rooms were to stay in too. We would 100% recommend Mere Court as a venue for your wedding day and we will always look back on our day and know that we chose the most prefect venue! Thank you so much!

Thank you all so much for making a great day go so well. Georgia, Rob, Sue and the rest of the staff were all great and everyone has commented what a superb wedding venue it is. The food was first class and the evening buffet, a bit of a surprise to most – I don’t think anyone was expecting full Cumberland sausage wheels! They went down really well! The catering service throughout was efficient and friendly. I know this is what they all do as the “day job” but still, it was great to see every table get served so fast. Mere Court Hotel, were amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and Georgia was an amazing contact throughout - and especially in the last few weeks with any last minute changes/add ons! The whole day went without a hitch, staff were super friendly and helpful - so many guests commented on how lovely everything and everyone was! Food was amazing, bar was well stocked and everything was beautiful. On the day, Robbie kept everything running smoothly and we felt really looked after - Can’t thank you all enough! We had the best day for our wedding!

We would like to say a big thank you to the Mere Court Hotel for making our wedding day so special. On the day, the rooms looked beautiful, the grounds and garden were perfect and the staff on hand were all wonderfully professional and super helpful. The day ran smoothly, we didn't need to worry about anything as the hotel staff had everything in hand. The food was delicious, professionally presented and the catering staff were fantastic. During the lead up to the wedding we had a few instances where details had been missed off, or slight issues arose, however these were corrected and any issues ironed out very promptly by the wedding coordinators, and we were able to contact the team easily when we needed to. Overall we had a great experience with the Mere Court and would highly recommend it as a wedding venue to our friends and family. All of our guests were really impressed with the venue, food and service. Thank you again for making our day so special, we are really grateful to all of the staff for working so hard.

I just wanted to say thank you to Lyndsey, Jodie, James and the rest of the team at Mere Court for the most incredible time we had with you. Thank you for everything you did for us over the weekend and in the run up. We had the best day. Everything went so smoothy, everyone was so helpful and supportive. We couldn't have picked a better venue with a better team. Everyone commented on how lovely you all were and how well the day went. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Everything was really well organised. It was a dream day and a huge part of that was down to you guys, thank you so, so much.

We had our wedding at Mere Court Hotel on 04/11/2021. The staff were amazing! They catered to all of our needs, always going above and beyond. We also had a few children/babies at our wedding, and the staff were amazing, bringing highchairs and food for the kids! Megan was amazing from start to finish. The staff decorated the tables for our wedding reception, and it just looked amazing. The only downside is that there is only one person serving the evening drinks, I've read this on a few other revIews as well. Apart from that, everything was perfect. Thank you so much for making our special day so effortless!

We don’t know where to start! Firstly a big thank you to Mere Court Hotel for being so accommodating with us. They helped us with having to postpone our wedding twice, due to Covid, and do last minute changes for us too Nothing seemed impossible, or too much. All staff were absolutely amazing, but a special mention to Megan, our wedding co-ordinator, and Robbie, our master of ceremonies. You guys were absolutely fantastic, seriously we can’t and don’t know how we will ever thank you enough. Mere Court Hotel was our first venue we had visited on our list of potential venues. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we both got this nice warm feeling about the hotel. Basically, we fell in love with it, but being told by others…”Don’t just go with the first one you see” We decided to take their advice, but what a waste of time that was as after five more visits looking at other venues we’d say to each other as we’d leave, “It wasn’t Mere Court”. We were soon back at Mere Court signing that contract. We certainly were not disappointed with our choice. We honestly cannot explain how amazing our day was. It was better, and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Our ceremony and reception were just amazing. We need to give a big mention to the chef, as the food was delicious, with most guest saying that it was the, “best wedding food they have ever had”. We couldn’t fault anything.
