We had the most wonderful wedding experience at the Royal Marine Hotel. We are based in London and had family and friends traveling over from the U.S., UK and Ireland so we really wanted somewhere that highlighted Irish charm and hospitality. We cannot believe how many guests have commented to us that we absolutely chose the best venue for our wedding. The hotel itself is so beautiful and we loved being able to have a view of the seafront during our reception. The staff at the Royal Marine Hotel were incredibly helpful in making sure everything went to plan and every detail was considered beforehand, especially as we were not local to the area. All of our wedding stress disappeared when we arrived because we were in such good hands and my husband and I were able to truly enjoy our wedding day without worrying about a thing! In particular, Jeff, Malcolm, and Dhriti went above and beyond to make sure all of our guests were looked after, not just on the wedding day itself, but the whole weekend! The Royal Marine Hotel holds a very special place in our hearts now and we cannot wait to visit again!

Myself and my wife celebrated our wedding in the Royal Marine hotel. It was a magnificent and magical day that we will both remember always. The staff and management and our wedding co-ordinator Dhriti were absolutely magnificent. They made sure that everything ran smoothly on the day and could not have been more helpful. They were extremely professional but also warm and welcoming. The layout of both the ceremony room and the wedding reception area was perfect. Catering for our guests who had specific dietary needs was no problem at all. We always knew that we would be in good hands with the Royal Marine but they far exceeded our expectations. We have no hesitation in recommending the Royal Marine hotel to anyone who is seeking the perfect venue for their wedding.

Our wedding reception at the Royal Marine Hotel was more than we could have hoped for. All the staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make it a fantastic day. In particular, Dhriti and her team were attentive to every detail. We live abroad and organised the wedding remotely but this posed no difficulty due to the fact that the team were available for phone calls or video calls any time we needed guidance. Hayley and the reservation team were very efficient. The Royal Marine Hotel is a beautiful venue and our guests from abroad and Ireland were very impressed with both the hotel and its surroundings. The food and service on the night were excellent thanks to Jeff, the floor manager, Alicia, and the rest of the staff. Everything went very smoothly on the day but we had two stressful moments regarding the flowers and the dress (due to our own negligence) which Dhriti and the team solved immediately. We were extremely grateful for their help. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Royal Marine Hotel to any couple looking for a venue for their celebration. It was a wonderful day and our guests have all told us how much they enjoyed it.

My husband Alex and I had our wedding reception at the Royal Marine hotel. Ashleigh assisted us in the run up to the wedding and made everything so easy for us and was a true professional. We had an amazing reception at the Royal Marine Hotel and loved every second of it. Our families and many of our guests expressed how impressed they were with the quality of the staff service and the quality and quantity of the food served. We are completely blown away by how amazing everyone has been here - You, Istvan and teams, the chef, Hayley for giving everyone such great rooms, the ladies cleaning our room (especially the blonde girl, I didn't catch her name), the reception team, Liga and the breakfast team, everyone in Hardy's bar and bar staff on the night of the wedding, I could go on... Our day and week has been just so perfect. Everyone was so incredibly friendly, flexible, smiley, patient, professional, helpful and detail-oriented which we really appreciated... We could write a book about all the little things on the day and during the week that we loved and it was all down to you and the staff in the hotel... Our families had the most amazing amazing time - they too were blown away by how well organised the day was and how much they enjoyed themselves. Everyone has been so brilliant and we are so incredibly grateful.

We have had a lovely week as newly married! We wanted to say thank you for all your hard work for our wedding, you were so helpful and made planning from abroad so easy! We weren't stressed at all going into the big day! On the day, the Hotel's staff were incredible! So friendly and polite and bending over backwards to help in any way they could. Eurojee and I wanted to express how grateful we are on what happened during our wedding day. I personally set my expectations a lil bit low and was ready for anything to happen only because I was overwhelmed with the wedding preparations and I find it so stressful. Long story short it was the opposite of what happened on our wedding day. We both felt that our wedding day was perfect, magical and definitely magnificent in every possible way. We are truly grateful and appreciate all the people behind the event. All our guests and families were amazed of the venue, scrumptious food and drinks, kindness of the staff. We all enjoyed everything that day that we kind of set a standard and our guests wished they could have the same party for their son/daughters wedding. Once again we sincerely thank Daphne, for organising the event, Mr. Aidan Ryan, Mr. Colin Brown, Chef Karl, Mr. Roy, Mr. Istvan and the entire staff of Royal Marine Hotel for coordinating our wedding. Johnny and I were extremely happy with our wedding in the Royal Marine Hotel. The entire team were fantastic! I found Ashleigh great to work with, and we would like to commend her for our wedding. We had an absolutely amazing day! Our planning had started back in September, and the communication we received was brilliant. Over the next few weeks, we went up to visit the hotel twice and were treated so well each time. Even though our wedding was quite small, we were always made to feel like their number one priority. From the drinks reception to dinner, to accommodation, no small detail was left untouched, and all our queries were answered quickly and efficiently. As for the day itself, it was better than I think we had both anticipated, and the staff were brilliant throughout the whole day. We could not have been happier, and the 3 nights we spent afterwards staying in the hotel were magic.

We had the best day! The staff at the Royal Marine were just amazing and put us at ease from the first meeting with them. They really worked hard to make our day feel individual and put so much effort into discussing things and making sure it all came together so well. I was extra impressed to be allowed in to help set up the room the day before making me feel more relaxed knowing everything was done. Our guests all complimented the service from the staff and also the delicious food and I was amazed at how beautiful the flower centerpieces were. We had a lot of guests from abroad who mostly stayed in the hotel and loved it especially the beautiful views of Dun Laoghaire which also looked great in our wedding photos! We had an amazing day! They team were fantastic. Every member of staff was fantastic, with particular mention for Ollie and Gabby on the day, they couldn't have been better! Roy was a blessing, everything ran smoothly, he is is absolute pro and a gentleman!! I believe there was a mix up with the menus on the tables before guests entered the room but both myself and Chris had no idea, he handled everything with such grace and calmness! We also had the pleasure of dealing with Aiden also, he was so kind and thoughtful, his presence and wisdom for the day was greatly appreciated! The food was fantastic, and the set up was perfect. We had an absolutely amazing wedding day and weekend. From beginning to end we could not fault one thing. The room looked amazing thanks to Danka and the staff. John was just a dream to work with. Andrew and Paul from the Thursday evening until I came back to collect my car was just absolutely amazing and Niall, everyone kept talking about how friendly and helpful and kind he was. I did not catch the bar man from the Saturday's name but he was so lovely and the lads had a laugh with him. All of our guests have made comments on the hotel and the staff and said they would recommend it to anyone as they just had such an amazing time.. The Germans loved Paul by the way. Both Mark and I have agreed that the Royal Marine is not just where we had our wedding is but is like another home and that is down to yourself and the staff. We would like to make senior management at the hotel, or hotel group, aware of how happy we were with our wedding at The Royal Marine on Saturday. The food was amazing, all of the staff were incredible, and everyone had a great time. We’d like to particularly highlight Ashleigh and John, who were great in the build up to the wedding and looked after us so well on the day. Thomas and the duty manager (I forget his name, sorry) were all so attentive and provided a great experience for all of the guests. As did all of the staff.

We had our wedding at the Royal Marine Hotel in November 2018. We were very happy with the service and welcome given to us by all the team. The hotel was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Some special mentions to Aidan Ryan the general manager, who always had a welcome for us when visiting the hotel as we were preparing for our big day. Ashleigh McDonald was our event coordinator; she was professional and helpful to us as we prepared for our wedding. She was on hand whenever we needed her and it was a pleasure to work with her. John O Grady, C & B manager was with us throughout the evening of our wedding, checking in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Hayley and Leila in reservations were excellent to work with also. We had a lot of guests travelling from abroad with a variety of needs and requirements, all of which were accommodated for by the reservations team. Any issues we had with had with bookings or rooms were quickly dealt with by Hayley and Leila and all of our guests were very happy with their stay. We would highly recommend the hotel as a wedding venue and wish we could do it all again!

We had a fantastic day at the Royal Marine Hotel! The room was beautiful, with the Christmas wreaths, lights and trees. Our guests were very complimentary of the food and all dietary needs were welcomed and met. The room was set up perfectly and the friendliness of the staff throughout the day and evening made the day very special.
