From start to finish, Aidan Cotter, Maura and his team were amazing to deal with, the ultimate professionals and always at hand to help with any queries or requests we had in the lead up to the day. The wedding day went off perfectly. The service was top notch and so efficient. The food was superb. After the wedding so many guests complimented the hotel service and food. We really felt like we were in the best hands and couldn't fault one thing. We are so thankful we chose Garryvoe Hotel and would highly recommend!!!

We got married in the Garryvoe Hotel in July 2022. Right from the moment that we met Aidan and his team when we first visited the property, we knew that we had found our venue. The staff were so warm and welcoming and they couldn't do enough for us in the lead up. Throughout the lead up there was never anything that was too much to ask. As for the wedding itself, the food was incredible, the service was absolutely top class and the venue itself was perfect. So many of our guests commented on how good the food and service was and how it was such a scenic location. That was so satisfying for us to hear, knowing that our guests had as positive an experience as us. If you are looking for your wedding venue, choose the Garryvoe Hotel. The hotel has won countless awards for a very good reason. You will be so glad you chose it.

I couldn't recommend this hotel and staff more. They were so accommodating when we had to change our date due to COVID, every detail was attended to and nothing was too small a task. Our guests were delighted with the excellent food and the ballroom is a beautiful setting. The whole team were so responsive to any queries and so helpful. Aidan, Ben, Tracey and all the team were a pleasure to deal with.

We would highly recommend Garryvoe Hotel as a wedding venue. The team especially Aidan went above and beyond for us not just on the day but on the lead up to it. We were unfortunate to have to postpone twice due to covid Aidan was so helpful throughout the process. Every ask he did his best to accommodate for us. The day went so well. Aidan and the team had everything planned out. Our guests consistently said how great the staff were, the wine was flowing, plenty of food and how nice the food was. The honeymoon suit is also amazing, two floors with beautiful views. Could not recommend this hotel enough.

They were an absolute pleasure to deal with and were most accommodating right up to our wedding day when things went off plan. We had our wedding in Garryvoe in July this year. We can’t say enough positive things about our day and the hotel/staff. Ben and Aidan were extremely friendly and helpful from the very beginning - so flexible and always efficient replying to emails even with small queries. The food was absolutely amazing and our guests are still commenting on it. The day was just amazing from start to finish, all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I would certainly recommend this venue for a wedding.

Aidan, Ben and the amazing team of staff were amazing from the date we booked our wedding to our wedding day. Garryvoe was the first venue that we went to when planning our day and nothing else compared to this beautiful hotel. Everyone commented on how amazing the food and how lovely all the staff were as well as the rooms overlooking the sea. This hotel is absolutely amazing in every sense of the word. It is located right opposite a sandy beach that stretches for miles. We just had a beautiful summer wedding there and had guests from all over the country and the world who were raving about the place. The ballroom is stunning. The staff are so friendly helpful and professional and cannot do enough to make your day go smoothly, the managers Ben and Aidan were a dream to work with. I was so chilled and stress free as I got married in the hotel itself on the day. The views of the seaside are just stunning. The food is absolutely gorgeous and hard to beat in other hotels I’ve stayed before. We had loads of compliments on the food and location and people just loved it and felt like they were on holidays throughout. I’m so so happy and I would highly recommend this to any prospective couple!

Hello, It's long overdue but I want to email to say a massive thanks to everyone at Garryvoe Hotel, for making our kind of different wedding what it was, and feel so so special! Especially I want to mention Ben, Laura and Aiden who we dealt with the most. We did things differently and had our own private intimate wedding, but it's definitely the way forward with everything going on in the world and I can't even express how important you made us feel and how easy going everything was when dealing with you. I can't recommend Garryvoe Hotel enough! The hotel itself is beautiful and such a treat to look out the window from the library and see the sea. The management team (Stephen, Aidan, Ben) are absolutely fantastic and some of the nicest people you will meet. Nothing is too much trouble and they went above and beyond for our wedding. The lead up to our wedding wasn't the easiest due to covid-19, but they supported us every step of the way and even helped with the decorating of the room prior to our big day! On the day itself they worked seamlessly in the background to ensure everything went smoothly and as planned. The day went off without a hitch and all thanks to the wonderful management team and staff in Garryvoe Hotel. We can't say enough good things about Garryvoe Hotel and there is a reason it is so difficult to find a Friday or Saturday In Garryvoe Hotel which is available to get married - it is just a gorgeous venue.

Hi Aidan, Ben and team, We had our wedding on the 29th of August and honestly it was the best day of our lives. Despite the restrictions and lower numbers, every single guest commented that it was much more personal and the way the ballroom was set up, you would never know that it was a smaller wedding. We had our meal earlier, still had live music and plenty of dancing - no one even noticed the earlier finish time! With lower numbers (having originally planned for a wedding of 200/250) we personally had so much more time to spend chatting with family and friends -we wouldn’t change a thing! The food, location and service was amazing, the staff were exemplary - a special mention to Aidan, Ben, Liz and Jason. Can’t wait to come back to Garryvoe for our anniversary!

The easiest part of organising our wedding was dealing with Garryvoe Hotel. The early stages of planning a wedding can be overwhelming. There seems to be a million things to organise. We arrived unannounced to Garryvoe while out looking at various venues. Despite not having any appointment we met with a member of the management staff. We really did not know what we were doing but they managed to break it all down in a simple and concise manner. This instantly put our mind at ease and when we finally chose Garryvoe we were not disappointed. The venue itself is a gorgeous location with plenty of photo opportunities on the beach. The Library Room is amazing, homely and warm for a Christmas wedding. We assume a summer wedding would also be terrific with the beautiful seaside view and beach. The reception room is very good for large and small weddings. By the bar in the reception room they have plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs for guests after the meal. The bridal suite is very impressive with lovely views of the bay. This was very important for photos as the weather in December was not great. At every stage in the process the staff were professional, polite and very accommodating. This very much reduced the levels of stress we experienced in the lead up to the big day. The wedding rates for guests were also very good and this was important for us. Other venues stipulate that you need to fill x number of rooms. This is not the case with Garryvoe and as a result there was no pressure on us in that respect. On the day the staff were terrific. Polite to each and every one of our guests and extremely accommodating. All through the day the staff were available to us in anything we required. The whole day went without any hitch or problem. The drinks reception in the Library Room went down very well and Garryvoe were flexible in what drinks they provided. The dinner reception was magnificent. The food was gorgeous and everyone was extremely happy with the menu.

We looked at many hotels but settled on Garryvoe. The best decision we could have made. Stephen, Aidan and their team were superb. They looked after us and our guests so well. They made us feel like our wedding was the only wedding that mattered. Thanks guys for helping to make our day so special. Special mention to Aidan Cotter. The best in the business. During the planning phase of our wedding, we visited many venues across Cork to get a feel for what would be the best fit for our wedding day. From the moment we landed at the beautifully picturesque setting that the Garryvoe Hotel is located in, we knew that we were on the right track. We were greeted by Aidan, the general manager, who guided us through all the fantastic offerings of this hotel while we relaxed in the beautiful surrounds of the hotel library. We were so impressed by the hotel & it’s staff that we confirmed a date there and then. We left excited and confident that we had just made a great decision. During the preparations for our big day, it was clear that every effort was going to be made by Aidan, Ben and their team to deliver our day with great professionalism. It was clear that they take pride in the service that they provide at the Garryvoe hotel. Our families received a great welcome by all the staff the night before the wedding and the lovely relaxed atmosphere at the hotel really helped to ease the nerves for the groom. On the big day, everything flowed seamlessly and we felt so assured by the happy faces of our guests that they were enjoying the wares of Garryvoe hotel. All of the staff went above and beyond in accommodating our needs and those of our guests, including helping to celebrate the brides 30th birthday. One of the hardest decisions along the way was picking our menu as the food options available all sounded divine. It didn’t disappoint on the day and has been complimented many times since. A particular mention must be given to the bridal suite. The luxurious suite had a sauna, steam room and a balcony overlooking Garryvoe beach which made a great setting for some photos. Although we hadn’t banked on the bride’s veil being swept from her head and onto the hotels roof. Great credit to Aidan and Ben on the rescue operation that they carried out. Garryvoe hotel exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough

Myself and my husband could not be more grateful for the care and attention we received from the team at the Garryvoe Hotel from the moment we booked our wedding with them right up to leaving the morning after our wedding! There was no request too big and their quick response to any enquiries put our mind at ease the entire time! On the day the entire team from reception to catering to management were truly fantastic! Even one of the ladies during dinner took time to talk to my 4 year old nephew at the top table. The service at the Garryvoe hotel is exceptional and their attention to detail is incredible! I don’t think there’s been a word invented to discribe how brilliant a venue Garryvoe is! Aidan, Ben, Eoghan, Danjo! Couldn’t have done more for us and our guests to make sure we had the best day! From the amazing food to finalising the little details etc this was no issue and the lads are more the willing to help out!! Cannot thank the lads enough for making our day so special!! My guests were blown away by the high standards and warm welcome they received. The food was really good, plenty of it and the mash potato was unreal.
