We got Married at Coed Y Mwstwr Hotel in March 2024 and we had the most amazing day! From first visiting the venue, through the whole wedding process and even now after the wedding, the team at Coed Y Mwstwr have been fantastic. Firstly, Coed Y Mwstwr Hotel itself is gorgeous and the grounds are beautiful. The lounge area is super cozy and relaxing with its lovely fire place. We had our ceremony in the Elliott Suite which is so elegant, we love the bright atmosphere of this 19th-century Victorian room. Our wedding breakfast and reception were in the Hendre Suite, again we love that it's bright and airy, with the exposed wooden beams. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated, each with their style and the honeymoon suite was fabulous. The team went above and beyond to allow us to have our dream wedding, no task was too big or too much. Our wedding food was delicious and all of our guests commented on how tasty everything was (especially the fudge). A big thank you to everyone at Coed Y Mwstwr for making our day so special. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary next year!

Beautiful venue for our winter wedding, resulting in a beautiful day and all around experience. The staff were friendly, professional, helpful and communicated extensively throughout the planning process - every detail was considered and executed to a tee, meaning that in the end our big day ran smoothly. Catered well for allergies and dietary requirements, and the food was fantastic with great feedback from our guests.

We had always known that we would want to get married at the Coed-Y-Mwstwr, but the team made it even more special than we could have imagined. The events team were so organised, polite, professional and really went out of their way to ensure our day was perfect. I can't believe how quickly the team responded to all of our requests and enquiries, and were a pleasure to plan our wedding with. The team helped us make our wedding into more of an event, with a dinner the night before and a Christmas Jumper Breakfast the day after. These two extra parts made the wedding feel so much longer and we got to enjoy more time with our friends and family. We have had so many comments about what an exceptional venue the Coed is, and also how efficiently it is run. The team on the day were incredible, friendly, polite and so efficient! The quality of the food on the day was fantastic. The reservations team was absolutely brilliant both over the phone and by email! Every single person we have spoken to has raved about the food, service and atmosphere of the hotel. We can't wait to come and visit again in the new year as a married couple and remember our special day.

We choose the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel for our wedding not only because of the beautiful setting but mainly because of the staff. From our very first visit to the hotel for a tour of the venue, right through to checking out the morning after the wedding, the staff have all been amazing. They were attentive and professional right through the process which helped make the whole wedding so easy and stress free. They did absolutely everything for us from setting up on the day to running the entire event so we could just relax and enjoy. Plus we felt they had really listened to us at our meetings and worked so hard on the day to make sure everything was as we had wished. They made you feel nothing was too much trouble for them. We cannot thank the team at the Coed enough for helping make our wedding absolutely perfect!

Our wedding day was everything that we wanted. The staff throughout the whole process were amazing! Communication was great, either in person, emails, or phone calls. Any questions we had, they knew the answer right away or would let us know later that day. Any requests we had for our day were met. The day itself, the staff couldn't have done more for us. They kept checking in with me and the husband throughout the day to see if there was anything we wanted or to change anything before the guests came in, and they helped to guide us and the guests throughout the day, even in the evening, staff were there if we had any questions or requests. The bars always had a staff member on so quick service. All in all, amazing day, we and the rest of the wedding guests couldn't stop singing the praises of Coed. We definitely made the right choice and everyone kept commenting on how amazing the grounds were. We will definitely return for our wedding anniversary in years to come.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the team at Coed Y Mwstwr from my initial meeting when deciding on where to get married, to booking the venue and everything in between before the big day itself. I emailed and phoned on several occasions in the planning up to the wedding and the team could not have been more attentive, helpful and accommodating - they were an absolute pleasure to deal with on every occasion and put me at ease at every turn, every time. On the day itself, the team went above and beyond to ensure I was happy and calm and enjoying the day best I could at every opportunity. They were confident in their roles, complimentary, attentive, and helpful to myself, my family and guests at each stage of the day. I can honestly say I had the best day ever and it would not have been possible and so easy without the team that were present at each stage of the process. The staff are always friendly, I can't compliment them enough. Thank you so much for everything and for such a special day.

From the start of planning to the day after our wedding, the staff at the Coed-Y-Mwster, were amazing. No matter how little the query, they promptly helped to assure that there was less stress leading up to the day. We then arrive the night before the wedding and everyone was so welcoming, I got shown the wedding ceremony room as they were able to set up the afternoon before the wedding and I couldn't have asked for anything better. We had an external supplier for some of the larger items, but when it came to the finer details, the team went above and beyond what I could have imagined to make the day feel magical. On the day I was informed of the daily plans, checked on regularly to see if we needed anything and the day flowed so well, apart from the odd meal we didn't need to ask the staff to help rectify anything. The Coed-Y-Mwstwr is a highly recommend, beautiful venue and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so special

Our wedding day was incredible at the Coed-y-Mwstwr from start to finish. Every single detail was taken care of and we couldn’t have been happier. Guests were well looked after by all of the staff, nothing was too much trouble. The wedding breakfast was delicious and the evening buffet went down a treat with special mentions for the onion bhaji’s and pizza which just kept coming much to the pleasure of many. The reception tables were set up perfectly and looked beautiful. Thank you to Jennifer, Jodie & Rachel for listening to our requests and making the room look beautiful. Not forgetting Paul and the waiting team who delivered 5 star service to everyone. Together they all helped to make it a day to remember for all the right reasons. I’m struggling to put into words just how amazing the team at Coed-y-Mwstwr were, not just on our wedding day but to the whole lead up. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us. Their communication is second to none, I felt any questions were answered straight away! They were helpful, friendly, fast and easy to chat to. The venue speaks for itself, it’s absolutely beautiful, The folly was perfect for having an outdoor feel wedding whilst being sheltered from our typical British weather! I, like most brides really didn’t want it to rain, however a little bit of rain didn’t ruin the day. As the venue is absolutely perfect inside as well as outside. Our guests couldn’t believe the beauty that is tucked behind the woods and loved the venue so much. The food on the day was amazing, everything was served in a professional manner and everyone loved the food (especially the beef.) Our wedding day ran perfectly and we’re so thankful for everyone at the Coed-y-Mwstwr for the smooth running of the day. The team at Coed-y-Mwstwr were excellent from showing us around the venue right up to our wedding day. Any questions we had, the team were more than happy to answer. They were all extremely welcoming and accommodating to us and our families. Paul, Ollie, Jennifer, Jodie & Rachel to name a few were absolutely outstanding on the days leading to our special day and also our wedding day. They made sure that everything ran as smoothly as it could possibly be. They supported us at every step of the way, no issue was too big for them. They made you feel like you were the only wedding there (when in fact they have hundreds), they truly treat you incredibly. They would always make you feel special when going to the venue whether that be for a meeting, tasting or when you just pop over to see the venue. The food at the venue is outstanding and we received so many compliments from our guests about the venue and the food. The rooms were impeccable, they were extremely clean and had everything you needed for your stay. We would highly recommend this venue and the team, you will not be disappointed.

A huge thank you for making our wedding on the 17th June run seamlessly. From the moment I arrived the night before, the staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to make my pre-wedding stay so special and relaxed. They also made our menu tasting in the build up to the day such a memorable experience. A special mention to Oliver who went out of his way to ensure everything ran smoothly, was really friendly - many of our guests also gave us this feedback. This level of service continued throughout our wedding day. Nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail was phenomenal. They checked in with us to make sure everything was perfect. The food was outstanding. Beautiful venue with gorgeous surroundings and stunning rooms. We had heard fantastic reviews previously and they certainly lived up to their reputation. Communication from the start was excellent. The wedding co-ordinators were incredibly responsive to any queries I had and very reassuring. They also helped with my dress on the day, which was much appreciated. Thank you Team Coed-y-Mwstwr for helping to make our wedding so special and everything we had envisioned! Absolutely brilliant experience everything was perfect and surpassed our most optimistic expectations. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The management team and all the staff can feel really proud at the total professionalism of the whole event. All our guests commented on how wonderful the whole day went in addition to mentioning the friendliness of the staff. I don’t think I could thank the venue and the staff enough for how amazing our wedding day was. From the first meeting all the way through to the wedding day, Tommy was amazing! He was so accommodating and nothing was ever too much for him! He is definitely in the perfect job, he has so much knowledge around weddings and what makes them perfect and he helps create so many ideas that people don’t even think about! Tommy's calming influence on the day was perfect and I had no worries because everything was so meticulously planned and organised! So thank you! Everything was perfect; Tommy and Megan were on hand to answer any questions and provide guidance from the moment we had our first look around the venue right up until the morning of the wedding. They looked after our guest of honour and ring bearer (our dog), set up the rooms perfectly for us & went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly. The whole team at the Coed were fantastic; down to earth, lovely people who are excellent at what they do! The little touches meant a lot; a reassuring hug from Jackie during breakfast to the receptionist saving my check-in card, where I signed my new name for the first time. We cannot thank them enough, with special thanks to Tommy who was my rock throughout! If you choose the Coed-y-Mwstwr as your wedding venue, you are in very good hands!

I don’t know where to even start! We knew the Coed was ‘the one’ from our first visit. Tommy and Megan were fab from start to finish and no question was too stupid or too small during the planning stages and the day went beyond smoothly. The Elliot Suite was the perfect size for our wedding of 40 and the guests loved mingling around the open fire in the lounge. It was the perfect cosy winter wedding we envisaged (and more!!). The food was delicious and my guests haven’t stopped raving about how attentive every single member of staff was throughout the day. We cannot thank the Coed enough :)

We had the most amazing day celebrating our wedding at the Coed-y-Mwstwr. From the moment we started the planning with Megan and Tommy who are both amazing and make you feel so special they couldn't have done more for us. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and professional and enjoyable to be around. The day was perfect and ran so smoothly, it made us feel relaxed and special. We got married in The Folly which was incredible and the surrounding gardens are spectacular. It was so nice to hear from all our guests that said it was the most spectacular venue and best wedding they had attended. The Hendre where we had our wedding breakfast and evening reception was absolutely stunning and with such good weather on the day we could open the doors up onto the patio area giving it a very spacious feeling and cosy in the evening with the fire pit alight in the middle with our guests sat around it. We would highly recommend celebrating your special day here this venue is beautiful all year around.

You most certainly made our day a breeze and your help through the process leading up to it was exceptional. A beautiful venue with friendly and attentive staff. Our wedding was absolutely perfect from start to finish and that was down to the Coed-y-Mwstwr team. They looked after us right from the very first show around to the day of the wedding. The whole day ran smoothly and was everything we wanted and much, much more. We can not thank Megan enough for all the lead up appointments, communication and special touches on the wedding day itself.
