One of the best decisions we’ve ever made was to get married at the Coed y Mwstwr. Upon entering its warm and welcoming lounge area, seeing the beautiful function rooms, and meeting their friendly and knowledgeable team, we knew that it was the perfect place for us and would be beautiful, whatever the weather. Throughout the whole planning process, the team was always quick to reply and keen to help with their responses to all our queries. Every supplier we spoke to who had worked there before said how brilliant the Coed y Mwstwr team is, and every conversation we had with them assured us that we were in safe hands. Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. The ceremony took place in the Elliot Suite, which is such a beautiful room. Paul worked so hard on the day and was absolutely brilliant, ensuring we were happy with everything. Megan also did a fantastic job of guiding us and letting us know what to do every step of the way in the lead-up to the ceremony. The whole team went above and beyond to make the day completely seamless. The food was the best at any wedding we’ve been to, and we received many compliments from the guests. So many of our guests have said how relaxed and beautiful the day was, and for us, it truly was the best day of our lives. We would recommend the Coed y Mwstwr to anyone.

The minute we walked into Coed- Y- Mwstwr we knew this would be our wedding venue. We had planned to see a few more venues following Coed but as we were sitting in the foyer going over details both of us said that we did not want to visit anywhere else as we had a gut feeling about Coed. During the wedding planning, all of our questions were answered very quickly and fully. A question would pop into my head at 10 p.m., and when I woke the next morning, it would be answered!! All the meetings went really well, and Rachael made us feel completely at ease with everything. On the day, every single staff member was amazing! We felt so looked after from start to finish. We were made to feel so special and a priority to all the staff. This helped our day run completely smoothly and without a hitch. We were also very calm and at ease because of this! Thank you, Meg, Rachael and all the staff at the Coed, for making our wedding day completely perfect! We’re still on cloud 9✨

We are so happy we chose Coed-Y-Mwstwr as our wedding venue. From the moment we stepped inside in July 2022, we knew it was the venue for us. The staff took their time to show us around and go through every single detail with us, which continued throughout the whole process of planning the wedding. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them and we knew any queries or concerns we had would be responded to promptly. A special shoutout to Meg, who is absolutely amazing, and we cannot thank her enough. She reassured us of any worries we had and took control of herself when needed. We apologise for the delayed review; we couldn't let more time pass without expressing our heartfelt gratitude to Coed-Y-Mwstwr for making our wedding day unforgettable. We knew we were in good hands from the moment we chose this venue. All the staff working at the venue were amazing; all were friendly and approachable, and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. On the morning of the wedding, I had breakfast brought up to the room for myself and the maid of honour whilst the rest of the bridal party went down to the restaurant. Even little things like moving all of my things from the room I got ready in over to the Bridal Suite for the night were a huge help. A special thanks to Oliver, whose exceptional care and attention to detail ensured that everything ran smoothly. Oliver went above and beyond on our wedding day and the night before during our family meal. His warmth and professionalism put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy every moment fully. We also want to highlight Skye, who was incredibly friendly and caring to all our guests. Skye’s positive energy and genuine kindness made everyone feel welcome and well taken care of, adding a wonderful touch to our celebration. She even took time to approach myself (the bride) as she noticed I hadn’t been up to the evening buffet and put a plate up for me in the kitchen to grab when I wanted it. The venue itself is breathtaking, with so many beautiful photo opportunities. The moment our guests arrived, they were captivated by the charm and elegance of Coed-Y-Mwstwr. The Hendre Suite, where we held our ceremony, was the perfect place to get married. Its sophisticated décor and intimate atmosphere created an unforgettable setting for our vows. Coed-Y-Mwstwr exceeded our expectations in every way, and we highly recommend it to any couple looking for a perfect wedding venue. Thank you again for making our special day so memorable.

Where to start! From the moment we came across Coed-Y-Mwstwr Hotel we were captivated and immediately booked a show around. The drive to the grounds is simply stunning, and it was a shock to us that the first venue we found would be where we tied the knot! In comparison to other venues, we found ourselves constantly comparing and stating that CYM had this and that, and the layout/flow of the venue was perfect. Then we met Rachel who showed us around and helped visualise our day and how it would look at CYM (not many co-ordinators did this at other places...!) - following this, we just knew, it had to be CYM. The communication and planning from the whole team is flawless, there was nothing they couldn't help with or answer, they are truly incredible and I feel lucky to have had them working behind the scenes for our day. THE DAY! It was simply perfect, with the help of the team getting everything in the right place and how polite they were throughout the day, again, nothing was a problem and everyone was so helpful! Even with running to get me a tissue as I shed a nervous tissue before I walked down the aisle. I honestly cannot recommend this venue and the team highly enough - at every meeting and visit, we were always offered refreshments, and the whole team always had a smile on their face - they are miracle workers, and I am proud to have had our special day at CYM - I couldn't have imagined going anywhere else (coming from a Wedding Photographer who has seen a lot of venues across South Wales!) Thank you to all, but especially Rachel, for your hard work and constant help throughout the planning and our day.

The venue is stunning. We had so many compliments from our guests, who said how lovely it was. The wedding events team is excellent and always on hand if needed. The day itself went without a hitch, which was down to the coordination between the team. We had such a great day. The food was terrific, and no one went hungry, and all said how lovely it was. We got Married at Coed Y Mwstwr Hotel in March 2024 and we had the most amazing day! From first visiting the venue, through the whole wedding process and even now after the wedding, the team at Coed Y Mwstwr have been fantastic. Firstly, Coed Y Mwstwr Hotel itself is gorgeous and the grounds are beautiful. The lounge area is super cozy and relaxing with its lovely fire place. We had our ceremony in the Elliott Suite which is so elegant, we love the bright atmosphere of this 19th-century Victorian room. Our wedding breakfast and reception were in the Hendre Suite, again we love that it's bright and airy, with the exposed wooden beams. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated, each with their style and the honeymoon suite was fabulous. The team went above and beyond to allow us to have our dream wedding, no task was too big or too much. Our wedding food was delicious and all of our guests commented on how tasty everything was (especially the fudge). A big thank you to everyone at Coed Y Mwstwr for making our day so special. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary next year!

Beautiful venue for our winter wedding, resulting in a beautiful day and all around experience. The staff were friendly, professional, helpful and communicated extensively throughout the planning process - every detail was considered and executed to a tee, meaning that in the end our big day ran smoothly. Catered well for allergies and dietary requirements, and the food was fantastic with great feedback from our guests.

We had always known that we would want to get married at the Coed-Y-Mwstwr, but the team made it even more special than we could have imagined. The events team were so organised, polite, professional and really went out of their way to ensure our day was perfect. I can't believe how quickly the team responded to all of our requests and enquiries, and were a pleasure to plan our wedding with. The team helped us make our wedding into more of an event, with a dinner the night before and a Christmas Jumper Breakfast the day after. These two extra parts made the wedding feel so much longer and we got to enjoy more time with our friends and family. We have had so many comments about what an exceptional venue the Coed is, and also how efficiently it is run. The team on the day were incredible, friendly, polite and so efficient! The quality of the food on the day was fantastic. The reservations team was absolutely brilliant both over the phone and by email! Every single person we have spoken to has raved about the food, service and atmosphere of the hotel. We can't wait to come and visit again in the new year as a married couple and remember our special day.

We choose the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel for our wedding not only because of the beautiful setting but mainly because of the staff. From our very first visit to the hotel for a tour of the venue, right through to checking out the morning after the wedding, the staff have all been amazing. They were attentive and professional right through the process which helped make the whole wedding so easy and stress free. They did absolutely everything for us from setting up on the day to running the entire event so we could just relax and enjoy. Plus we felt they had really listened to us at our meetings and worked so hard on the day to make sure everything was as we had wished. They made you feel nothing was too much trouble for them. We cannot thank the team at the Coed enough for helping make our wedding absolutely perfect!

Our wedding day was everything that we wanted. The staff throughout the whole process were amazing! Communication was great, either in person, emails, or phone calls. Any questions we had, they knew the answer right away or would let us know later that day. Any requests we had for our day were met. The day itself, the staff couldn't have done more for us. They kept checking in with me and the husband throughout the day to see if there was anything we wanted or to change anything before the guests came in, and they helped to guide us and the guests throughout the day, even in the evening, staff were there if we had any questions or requests. The bars always had a staff member on so quick service. All in all, amazing day, we and the rest of the wedding guests couldn't stop singing the praises of Coed. We definitely made the right choice and everyone kept commenting on how amazing the grounds were. We will definitely return for our wedding anniversary in years to come.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the team at Coed Y Mwstwr from my initial meeting when deciding on where to get married, to booking the venue and everything in between before the big day itself. I emailed and phoned on several occasions in the planning up to the wedding and the team could not have been more attentive, helpful and accommodating - they were an absolute pleasure to deal with on every occasion and put me at ease at every turn, every time. On the day itself, the team went above and beyond to ensure I was happy and calm and enjoying the day best I could at every opportunity. They were confident in their roles, complimentary, attentive, and helpful to myself, my family and guests at each stage of the day. I can honestly say I had the best day ever and it would not have been possible and so easy without the team that were present at each stage of the process. The staff are always friendly, I can't compliment them enough. Thank you so much for everything and for such a special day.

From the start of planning to the day after our wedding, the staff at the Coed-Y-Mwster, were amazing. No matter how little the query, they promptly helped to assure that there was less stress leading up to the day. We then arrive the night before the wedding and everyone was so welcoming, I got shown the wedding ceremony room as they were able to set up the afternoon before the wedding and I couldn't have asked for anything better. We had an external supplier for some of the larger items, but when it came to the finer details, the team went above and beyond what I could have imagined to make the day feel magical. On the day I was informed of the daily plans, checked on regularly to see if we needed anything and the day flowed so well, apart from the odd meal we didn't need to ask the staff to help rectify anything. The Coed-Y-Mwstwr is a highly recommend, beautiful venue and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so special

Our wedding day was incredible at the Coed-y-Mwstwr from start to finish. Every single detail was taken care of and we couldn’t have been happier. Guests were well looked after by all of the staff, nothing was too much trouble. The wedding breakfast was delicious and the evening buffet went down a treat with special mentions for the onion bhaji’s and pizza which just kept coming much to the pleasure of many. I’m struggling to put into words just how amazing the team at Coed-y-Mwstwr were, not just on our wedding day but to the whole lead up. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us. Their communication is second to none, I felt any questions were answered straight away! They were helpful, friendly, fast and easy to chat to. The venue speaks for itself, it’s absolutely beautiful, The folly was perfect for having an outdoor feel wedding whilst being sheltered from our typical British weather! I, like most brides really didn’t want it to rain, however a little bit of rain didn’t ruin the day. As the venue is absolutely perfect inside as well as outside. Our guests couldn’t believe the beauty that is tucked behind the woods and loved the venue so much. The food on the day was amazing, everything was served in a professional manner and everyone loved the food (especially the beef.) Our wedding day ran perfectly and we’re so thankful for everyone at the Coed-y-Mwstwr for the smooth running of the day. The team at Coed-y-Mwstwr were excellent from showing us around the venue right up to our wedding day. Any questions we had, the team were more than happy to answer. They were all extremely welcoming and accommodating to us and our families. Paul, Ollie, Jennifer, Jodie & Rachel to name a few were absolutely outstanding on the days leading to our special day and also our wedding day. They made sure that everything ran as smoothly as it could possibly be. They supported us at every step of the way, no issue was too big for them. They made you feel like you were the only wedding there (when in fact they have hundreds), they truly treat you incredibly. They would always make you feel special when going to the venue whether that be for a meeting, tasting or when you just pop over to see the venue. The food at the venue is outstanding and we received so many compliments from our guests about the venue and the food. The rooms were impeccable, they were extremely clean and had everything you needed for your stay. We would highly recommend this venue and the team, you will not be disappointed.

A huge thank you for making our wedding on the 17th June run seamlessly. From the moment I arrived the night before, the staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to make my pre-wedding stay so special and relaxed. They also made our menu tasting in the build up to the day such a memorable experience. Communication from the start was excellent. The wedding co-ordinators were incredibly responsive to any queries I had and very reassuring. Absolutely brilliant experience everything was perfect and surpassed our most optimistic expectations. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The management team and all the staff can feel really proud at the total professionalism of the whole event. I don’t think I could thank the venue and the staff enough for how amazing our wedding day was. From the first meeting all the way through to the wedding day, Tommy was amazing! He was so accommodating and nothing was ever too much for him! He is definitely in the perfect job, he has so much knowledge around weddings and what makes them perfect and he helps create so many ideas that people don’t even think about! Tommy's calming influence on the day was perfect and I had no worries because everything was so meticulously planned and organised! So thank you!
