Thank you all for your help and hard work since we booked our wedding 2 years ago. You have all been absolutely exceptional and always kept us informed every step of the way and always on hand to answer any questions we had. Rich and I are truly thankful and feel so lucky to have had our wedding reception in the most amazing venue with the most amazing team who helped make that day so special. From the moment the girls and i checked in on 7th Sept, to the moment Rich and I checked out on 9th, every single member of staff that we encountered were absolutely exceptional, from yourselves at the events planning team, to front of house, housekeeping, night porters, bar and waiting staff, Greg (DJ), kitchen staff. I am in awe of all of these amazing staff members who really do go the extra mile to ensure we had the most amazing day (even in the blistering heat we had.) Every single guest member commented on how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the team were and how exceptional the food was. We are looking forward to our first anniversary so we can come back and re-live it all again, if I can stay away that long! Please can you pass our sincere thanks to each staff member that worked for the duration that we were here, even the members we didn't meet as I know they still played a part behind the scenes. Once again, thank you all for the best day we could have dreamt of and hope to see you soon.

Just a note to say a huge thank you to both yourselves and all the staff at the New House Country Hotel who helped make our wedding such a fantastic day. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and all of the staff were amazing. Please also pass on our thanks to Steve who was absolutley brilliant at looking after us on the day, everything went extremely well and we could not of asked for anything more. Both Amanda and I really appreciate all of your help, advice and guidance with all the preparations and in making our day as special as we could of ever wanted. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and you all made our day so stress-free and relaxed! We didn’t have to do a thing after dropping all of our stuff off to you and everything just looked amazing! All of our guests said what a fantastic day they had, how wonderful the food was with some guests even commenting that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! And what a beautiful venue. It was also lovely that we were all able to have our breakfast together the next morning and the food was amazing! Even though you had weddings either side of ours you would never have known, the quick turn around was so smooth everyone was just so impressed. So again, thank you so much for making our day so lovely. We would definitely recommend anyone to have their wedding with yourselves!

My wife and I got married here and our day was absolutely amazing. They let me set up the day before and after just dressing one table how I wanted it, the team kindly took over and did the rest, they were perfect. Nothing was too much for them, you could see that one member of staff that helped organise our day was unwell but she didn’t let us down and she didn’t let it show but most of all she showed up for our big day with a smile on her face and didn’t let us down. When they saw me looking around (for my flat shoes) within seconds they came over and asked if I was ok and knew exactly what I needed and got it, if myself or my wife was standing without a drink they would make sure our hand soon had a drink in it. I wrote a plan of what I wanted to happen on our big day and how I wanted it to happen and they were amazing. On the plan, I had two appointed people for the staff to go to if they where unsure of anything, put it this way if anything didn’t go to plan I didn’t see it as the staff were on it. Our day was so amazing and special, they made sure we had little moments on our own to soak up the day and I couldn’t have picked a better place. At one point I had two flies in the net of my dress when taking our pictures on the green. We couldn’t get them out and out of nowhere a staff member ran across the grass to help lol. The views here, the staff and the beautiful building made it seem like you were a million miles away, worth every single penny, thank you New House Country Hotel xx

I don’t even know where to begin, there are no words that are even close to how thankful we are to the New House and all their staff but I’ll give it a go. Our biggest thank you goes to Cath, our wedding coordinator! Without Cath, our wedding would still only be a dream still waiting to come true. From the moment we met Cath on the New House grounds, we knew whole heartedly that she’d sold us on the venue. Everything was perfect on the tour. Cath was so polite, understanding, kind and considerate always towards myself, my husband and family that joined us when visiting. We chose the ultimate package, we wanted it all with some changes made to the package to put our own touch on our day - nothing was ever a problem; nothing was ever too big for Cath to juggle around, from meeting with us multiple times, to our crazy ideas we wanted to add to our wedding. Our day came and went in a flash! Without forgetting, a huge thank you to Ollie who coordinated our wedding day. Everything was absolutely amazing and perfect. You hear all newly weds say their wedding day was perfect, in our case it truly was because we had the best team between Ollie and Cath. We couldn’t have imagined our day any better! The catering staff, the housekeeping staff, waitresses and waiters - everyone who took part in our celebration was absolutely incredible and we truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our dream day come true. It’s coming close to a year since we got married and the day still seems like it was a dream. It was the little things that Cath and Ollie did for us that made our day so perfect like our favourite drinks waiting for us as we left the ceremony as husband and wife. If we’d finished our drinks, there would be another waiting. The smiles, the laughter we shared with Cath and Ollie throughout the planning and the wedding day will never be forgotten. Everything was just perfect. From the first email, first visit right to the end you were all amazing. We started planning with Merghan who was just fantastic she was so friendly and helpful and made us love the venue even more! She was available to us on email or call through the planning months and was always able to help. The food tasting was a very lovely evening, well organised and relaxed so we could take our time to decide. The final details meetings was also great. Unfortunately we found out Merghan had left and we must be honest we were apprehensive as we loved her so much. But we needn't be. The meeting was great and the form Cath went through with us was even more detailed that our lists, which helped us feel at ease. Cath thought of everything that needed to be considered and was happy to suggest options which were very helpful. We had done all the decor and everything ourselves and that was not an issue at all there was a place to store the things and instructions were given and staff reassured us that they will set everything up for us. Which they did brilliantly! Then came the wedding day. Everyone was just fantastic the whole day went so well and couldn't thank the staff enough they honestly were so fantastic. Even during one of the hottest days of the year! Everything we had planned and more happened to perfection which meant we didn't have to think about anything! We loved Steve and he was someone everyone needs on their wedding day!! He was so kind and helpful. The smallest of details were taken in to account and he made sure everything happened as it should. Small but very useful he made sure there was water with a straw for all of the bridal party as we arrived, it was such a hot day and this was perfect for us. All of our guests commented on how brilliant the day was and many mentioned Steve and the team. Just thank you!! So glad we chose you as our venue!! The package we paid for was perfect for us- reasonable with great extras!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were incredible nothing was ever too much trouble. The venue is breathtaking, the views are incredible. We wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else. Everyone who came were blown away by how beautiful this venue was. I loved the fact there was only one wedding per day and it made the whole experience intimate and that little bit more special. We can't thank The New House enough for making our dream wedding exactly how we imagined.

Dear Cath and the Team at the New House Hotel, We just want to say a massive thank you for everything from our wedding last Friday. Throughout the planning process you were so helpful and always on hand to answer any of our questions, we felt so confident in yourselves with our special day! This also included Teigan the reservations team who were so helpful in sorting our accommodation. On the day the team were absolutely incredible, nothing was too much trouble and they helped us both to be so relaxed and enjoy the day. The set up team did an amazing job and it was so lovely to see our vision come together so perfectly. Ollie and Beth (I think that’s her name, she had dark hair and had glasses) were amazing!! They just helped bring the day together and were also complimented by our guests. We even managed to go ahead of scheduled haha The food was also outstanding and just added to the day brilliantly. The venue as a whole was the perfect location for our wedding, every time we arrived we were blown away by the view and so were all of our guests! All of our guests have mentioned to us how much they love the venue and just how amazing the team were on the day and all the staff who helped throughout their whole experience as many were staying a couple of nights :) It was the best day of our lives and again just thank you so much for everything! We recently had our reception at the New House Country Hotel in Cardiff. The venue looked amazing and had spectacular views that impressed our guests. Our point of contact was Steph who was very experienced and could not do enough for us. This made organising the wedding easy. On the day, Steve the hotel manager, took the reins and made sure everything ran smoothly. This meant we were left to enjoy our day. The food was amazing and the bar was well stocked with drink and staff. We could not rate these guys and the hotel highly enough. They made our day perfect. Thank you!

What can I say the venue is absolutely beautiful! From the start of our journey organising our wedding the New House staff (Cath and Meg) we’re absolutely fantastic. Everything was organised so smoothly and we were kept informed every step of the way. The variety of different packages they offer is brilliant with a wide variety of different courses and they cater for different dietary requirements. All the staff are smart, pleasant and happy to help they made our day extra special! If I could do it all over again I would in a heartbeat.

What a special day 15/04/2022 was at New House Country Hotel, celebrating our Marriage. The sun shone brightly throughout our wonderful day, which really showcased all of the beautiful grounds, historic architecture and magical venue in all its glory. We got married in the Marquee suite, which has truly breathtaking views of Cardiff and a far. We must compliment the wedding and hospitality team, Cath, Ollie and all the staff you should be so proud and you are a real credit to this special place. Nothing was too much trouble, everything seems to run like clock work without even having to think, and all those fine details and sentimental touches are covered in abundance. The support in the planning, build up, throughout this perfect weekend has been unbelievable, you are truly on another level, and we’ll be forever grateful. The meticulously planned and decorated Marquee was something we could have only dreamed of. It was truly stunning, and no stone left unturned. Complemented with the most beautiful of 3 course wedding breakfast (even my dad indicated it was the best vegetarian meal he’d ever had) and finally the luxurious suites to unwind after an evening of dancing was just what was needed. A common theme from all of our guests were how beautiful this venue was, words attributed to the staff were organised, always smiling, and nothing was ever too much. An almighty Job Well Done, and you’ll forever have a special place in our hearts. The Biggest of Heartfelt Thank Yous!

We had the most wonderful bonfire night wedding day at the New House Country Hotel. The venue is simply stunning in every way - beautiful marquee, views, glass pergola and grounds. The food was exceptional, the venue delivered a bespoke starter for us of Antipasti plus slow cooked blade of beef to die for. We had the hog roast in the evening which was divine! All of the staff at the venue made our day absolutely perfect. Big thanks to Cath who answered all my many questions in the lead up to the big day. Cath made sure no stone was left unturned! The day ran so smoothly thanks to the staff and duty manager who made sure every little detail was exactly as planned. The waiting and bar staff were extremely attentive and friendly. We had breakfast the next day in the Wyndham suite and it was a great way to round off the celebrations. Thank you so much from Mr and Mrs Glover for ensuring we had the wedding day of our dreams!
