We had an incredible day at Whirlowbrook Hall. We booked 15 months in advance, every query was answered quickly & we honestly had such a stress free process! We loved the tasting menu evening & everything organised by Whirlowbrook in terms of meetings & payments were handled professionally, taking into consideration our shift patterns & being so welcoming to family members. Special mention to Emma Birch who has been my email buddy for so long, and the lovely staff who worked so hard on our wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly. Beautiful grounds, lovely building and would recommend getting ready there on the morning as we had a blast, with access to a big bridal room with everything you need to have a great start to your wedding day! We fell in love with Whirlowbrook and are so happy we decided to get married there as it will always be a treasured place for us and our family now.

Whirlowbrook Hall, what an amazing place to get married!! I married my best friend on the 18th February 2023 here at Whirlowbrook Hall and it was an unforgettable day truly amazing from the very early start to the very late finish!! Jacqueline couldn't do enough for us right from us hiring our table centre pieces and various other bits to her expert knowledge, guidance and helping with the finishing touches, nothing we asked for was to any trouble! We would highly recommend Whirlowbrook Hall for your perfect day. The only downside for us was that Whirlowbrook Hall does not have accommodation for you and your families to stay but Kenwood Hall is just a 10 minute taxi ride away. We cannot thank Whirlowbrook Hall and staff for everything from the planning, meetings, finishing touches to our amazing wedding day!! Mr & Mrs Williams

There's really not much we can say about Whirlowbrook other than choosing to have our wedding here was one of the best decisions we made. From the first visit during a wedding fair through to collecting our decorations the day after the wedding, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always there to lend a hand. In the run-up to the wedding, they were able to answer any questions and made us feel at ease - which is obviously important during such a stressful time. On the day itself, the staff were exceptional. Everything ran perfectly smoothly, and it felt like we didn't need to worry. We could trust that everything was in hand. As for the venue itself, it's the perfect size for a wedding. The building looks magnificent and the grounds are beautiful too. Our guests all loved exploring the various parts. The food was incredible, and many people approached us to tell us how delicious it was. Everyone at Whirlowbrook helped to make our special day even more special, and for that we'll always be grateful.

We had the most incredible day at Whirlowbrook Hall. The venue is stunning, the staff couldn't have done more for us, the food was delicious and everyone had a wonderful time. The different rooms and beautiful grounds meant that we could cater for everyone, with the children especially enjoying playing outside and in the chill out room. We found it to be good value for money too compared to other venues, without having to compromise on anything. Highly recommend!

Lucy, My new wife and I would just like to thank you and all of the team at Whirlowbrook Hall for the amazing day we had for our wedding last Sunday. The team on the day couldn't do enough for us and made the day run so smoothly we could enjoy ourselves and take it all in. A special mention for Jacqueline and Bethany. Whirlowbrook Hall was a fantastic wedding venue from start to finish. Arranging the wedding we had really great communication from Emma, Jacqueline and Lucy, with really quick responses to our many little questions. On the day itself, Emma was brilliant throughout the whole morning, the venue was set up perfectly how we asked with all the small touches being done without any fuss. In the afternoon, Tom took over as master of ceremonies and nothing was too much trouble for him, he was truly brilliant and made our day flow faultlessly. The building and gardens themselves are spectacular, and every guest commented how beautiful the surroundings were. We would both say that Whirlowbrook Hall was incredible value for money, and we felt like we got a bargain for our special day.

Good morning Lucy, Our day was amazing! Faultless!! Your staff were unbelievable and a total credit to the venue. Emma looked after us in the day whilst getting ready, she kept checking on us to see if we needed anything, making sure things were where they needed to be and when limes hadn’t arrived on the delivery she nipped to the supermarket and bought them - she was honestly a superstar!! Emma handed us over to two amazing ladies for the evening (Sophie & Darby) those girls were incredible, they took time to come and find myself and Oliver throughout the evening to see if we needed anything I know partly it is their job but honestly they went above that! So many guests complimented how the staff kept the tables and sides clear of pots and rubbish but you didn’t really notice them, they were just discreet and professional! The food was amazing too! If you could pass our thanks on in the kitchen because they had their work cut out with the weather Friday, so we really appreciate that despite the 29 degrees the food was fab! Everyone had said before the wedding ignore the small things something always goes wrong but it doesn’t matter! That did not happen, the day was faultless and I wanted to just say on behalf of both my new husband and I, a massive thank you to you for all your help getting us to the day and your staff on the day for their recognised hard work!! We can’t thank the team at Whirlowbrook enough for the amazing wedding day that we had. From the initial booking, planning, postponing and then right through to the day itself the team were always on hand to help and nothing was ever too much to ask. We postponed our wedding during the first lockdown, at a time when nobody knew the correct protocols to follow or the right decisions to make. As a bride, I had many questions (which often resulted in lengthy bullet-pointed emails from myself), but Lucy Plummer was pivotal in easing our concerns about our wedding and making our postponement stress-free. A special shoutout to both Lucys (Plummer and White) who made the planning a breeze as they were so attentive and willing to offer answers and advice. We looked around a few venues, but none were as stunning as Whirlowbrook. We were after a venue that celebrated our autumnal woodland theme and the ground and hall itself are absolutely beautiful. The perfect choice for a wedding taking place in any season, but especially in autumn. Just take a walk through the grounds and you’ll see for yourself. The food was also amazing and served professionally and timely. We had a fair few dietary requirements among our guests, but the menu was adapted with ease. The part of weddings you don’t often see as a guest is all of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, and as a Bride and Groom, we could truly appreciate everything that the team did on the day. All the staff work tremendously hard right until you leave the venue and without them, the wedding wouldn’t be possible. Thank you so much to the whole Whirlowbrook team for enabling us to have the best wedding day! We will never stop telling people how awesome you all are!

We loved the grounds and the hall when we came to visit. It is very beautiful indeed. The team at Whirlowbrook Hall have been great throughout the planning of our wedding. Despite several rescheduled dates, due to the pandemic, they have been so responsive and accommodating throughout. Thank you to both Lucy's for all your help and making it easier for us! On the day, the team were really helpful and we had an amazing day.

Our wedding was able to go ahead on our second attempt (due to Covid). We were limited to guest numbers, but what a perfect venue for a smaller wedding. From start to finish the staff were wonderful, ensuring everything went smoothly for us. We were able to access the venue the day before, and arrange all our own decorations and table settings. On the day, the staff were so lovely and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! Whirlowbrook Hall is the most beautiful venue. Following our meal we sat on the veranda overlooking the parkland, and guests were able to go off for a little wandering explore, which our young grandson loved. The venue was also very accommodating of our guests varied dietary requirements, which ensured everyone was happy with the meal. We think Whirlowbrook Hall offers excellent value for money. We had a delicious meal, and the most perfect day ever! Thank you so much to all the staff involved.

My husband and I finally got married at Whirlowbrook Hall, after having to postpone a year. We had waited for our day for so long, and it was absolutely perfect! The day couldn’t have gone better. The staff in the run up, during the day and behind the scenes were all fabulous! We had so many compliments about the venue, decor, and everything! I would highly recommend Whirlowbrook Hall to anyone! We wait to visit again.

First of all, thank you!! Thank you for the best day of our lives, and one we will never forget! From the moment we booked the wedding in April, 2020, Lucy was there to help us answer and solve all wedding related issues. She has been incredible through the whole wedding planning process, and is such a kind and genuine person. We can't express how appreciative we are to her. She was our shining star! On the day of the wedding, all of the staff, events, kitchen, waiters, bar, were all so lovely and accommodating. All of our guests commented on how brilliant every single one of them was! Tom was the hero for the day. We can't express how much we appreciated having him throughout the day. His kindness, happiness and going above and beyond for us the entire day just left us speechless. Even with a couple of minor changes to plans, this was like second nature to Tom, who dealt with it all in the snap of the fingers. He really left us to be stress free all day. He kept everyone on track, and was so lovely and genuine. His hard work definitely did not go unnoticed. We had our 7 month old puppy celebrate with us all day, which was so incredible, what venue allows your pets to be part of your day?! Bean was not restricted from any areas, and was very welcomed by everyone. It meant the absolute world to us! They are the most dog friendly venue, at its absolute finest! We would absolutely recommend Whirlowbrook Hall to anyone looking at getting married! Even if it's just to get the chance to work with Lucy and Tom, because they are truly one of a kind human beings, who were born to be in the wedding business! We hope to come back at a milestone anniversary to celebrate and relive the day again, because it was just that magical. A massive thank you to the team at Whirlowbrook Hall for our amazing wedding. We enjoyed every single moment. The team at Whirlowbrook were so "on it", helping us pull off our big day and adapting our final details. The team was so attentive, friendly and just wonderful. It made our day so easy and stress free. I can't quite believe we were lucky enough to get married in such a beautiful venue with such a lovely team. Honestly it was a day we will never ever forget!

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to Lucy, Emma, Tom and Dharby for being there on our wedding day. Although I knew they weren't meant to be at Whirlowbrook that day, it was lovely for them to come and give us some words of encouragement as we went into the ceremony, especially when our nerves & emotions were at their peak. Emma was present in the morning, reassuring us. Tom was ready with a much-needed glass of champagne after the ceremony, and Dharby was busy sorting everything out in the evening when it all got a bit messy! These people, along with all the other staff at Whirlowbrook, were just amazing! We had the most wonderful day that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. I want to point out a few highlights. The banquet table - Thank you for making the table look just like the vision I'd been dreaming of for months! Many of our guests commented on how beautiful it looked. The way things were just 'done'! Every time I thought to myself, "that needs to happen", it was already done! The food needs massive compliments to the chef! Everyone has been raving about the food ever since. We received many comments saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had and that it was Michelin-star restaurant quality. Others commented that they have been to many dinner events before, but dinner at Whirlowbrook Hall was the best! The praises kept on coming in. Being served first - We hadn't even thought about this until it happened, but being served first made us feel so special. Becky said she felt like royalty :) Willowbrook's understanding and patience regarding the postponements due to covid. We did appreciate it when the staff went out of their way to accommodate our change of plans. I realise that the pandemic has been challenging for everyone, but especially those in the hospitality sector, so the fact that you remained so positive and always have a smile on your face is admirable. All in all, we had the best day ever! We hope you get to have a little bit of a breather now that peak wedding season is over. But, you never know, perhaps we'll see you in a few years to renew our vows!

The venue building and grounds are gorgeous. There is a really good view as you drive up. The grounds are large, spacious and were great for guests to mingle. It adds a sense of seclusion, as the grounds/park are bordered by trees The main dining room was able to seat around 90 guests in 8-9 tables but it was a slight squeeze in the arrangement. The food was particularly good. All the guests were very complimentary about it. We choose to get their tapas selection of various small plates, bread, charcuteriere and mini-desserts as we had a mixed bunch of guests. For those with dietary requirements they provided separate meals. Hashing things through with the organisers is fairly straight forward as you end up picking options from among their packages. They have their own DJ (optional, extra), and an on-site decorator (also extra). Overall we would recommended this venue for any reception. We were lucky to have our day here as another couple rescheduled after the first lockdown.

On 28th August, 2021, we finally had our wedding at Whirlowbrook Hall and it was the most perfect day. Lucy and the team have been so kind and helpful over the last two years, dealing with two postponements and helping us to plan the most wonderful wedding. Throughout the process I have asked a million questions, and they have always had quIck and helpful responses. Whirlowbrook Hall is absolutely stunning. The exclusive use of the hall makes everything feel more special and personal. The grounds are beautIful and there are plenty of nice areas for photos. We held our drinks reception outside in the sun with a saxophonist and it was the perfect way to start the celebrations. Myself and six bridesmaids spent the morning in the upstairs ‘getting ready’ room with the hair and makeup artists. It is very spacious and we were kindly provided with tea, coffee and space to bring breakfast and bubbly. Being upstairs while the guests are arriving really adds to the excitement of the day. The day went without a hitch. ThIs was down to the lovely Master of CeremonIes, Tom. He kept the day running smoothly, he checked in with me REGULARLY to make sure I was happy with everything and he made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. Several guests commented on how lovely he was. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge. We opted for the tapas menu, and we’ve had so many messages from people telling us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. I don't have a single negative word to say about my experience with Whirlowbrook Hall. I wouldn't change a single thing!

What can we say! From the start, when we 1st booked our wedding in 2018 to the 3rd date on 29th July 2021, Lucy and the team at Whirlowbrook have been fantastic. No questions or requests were too big. The Hall and the grounds are stunning. They are beautiful, and that what the first thing that drew us to the place. After that, our guests wondered where they were going driving up the gorgeous long drive! The wedding breakfast and evening buffet was amazing. The food was perfect, and the service alongside was just as good. Extra thanks to the Chef for accommodating dietary requirements and the bride's un-liking of piccalilli! Special thanks to both Lucy and Tom for their help on the day. Lucy was great at organising and planning the stages to the actual wedding day. The groom would like to apologise for mistakenly calling Tom, Andrew. Tom kept the day running smoothly, and nothing was too much trouble, even down to arranging the taxis for our guests. You both were professional and kind as to the team you lead. Thank you so much for making our day that bit extra special! It's a day we will never forget!

Fin and I just wanted to say a big thank you to Whirlowbrook Hall for everything you've done for us since we booked to have our wedding with you back in April 2019. After all the postponements, we really did have the best day ever and I couldn't have been happier with how it all went! A lot of that was down to the team at Whirlowbrook. Thank you so much to Lucy White for answering the endless emails on details and for all the effort she put in to make our day special. Her attention to detail is amazing and I felt like she was friendly and welcoming from day one. She always atteded to our needs and made some small changes e.g giving my grandfather an egg and chips for his meal. All these small details just made the whole experience stress free. I'd also like to say Thank you to Tom and the team on our wedding day on Saturday 21st August 2021, Tom was so attentive and kept checking details all the time to make sure we were happy with the order of the day and this really did make it run as smoothly as possible and we felt like they really wanted to make sure we had our day exactly as planned. Whirlowbrook Hall is such an amazing venue. We even used the ready room in the morning. It felt calm and relaxing and it really did set the scene for the rest of the day.
