Our experience with the Clontarf Castle Hotel, their team and especially Monica was very positive. Their professional and friendly support from the early planning stages to the actual event was important for the atmosphere and ease of our celebration. Our compliments to the restaurant chefs, their team & waiters, our guests enjoyed the meals and our gratitude goes to Monica who goes above and beyond for couples! Big thanks to the efforts of all their team too.

The moment we stepped into Clontarf Castle to view it, we knew it was the place for us. Everyone we met couldn't have been more helpful and engaged with us, making us feel special every minute, from the initial viewing to the menu tasting to our wedding day. The wedding coordinator, Monica was fantastic -we were always able to contact her and she made sure our day went off without a hitch. The level of organisation was so impressive and all the staff at Clontarf Castle couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We honestly couldn't fault a thing. The food on the night was delicious and portions very generous - so many of our guests complimented the food.

We had our wedding at Clontarf Castle and cannot recommend it enough. Monica was our coordinator and was extremely responsive at all times. Her attention to detail matched our own and she made the whole day run so smoothly. The staff were all phenomenal, a credit to the hotel and received many compliments from the guests too. The food was a highlight of the day. Everything was made to an extremely high standard and our guests were highly impressed. The rooms were an unexpected highlight and our only complaint is that we didn't get to spend more time in them! Overall, value, quality and attention to detail were outstanding. We couldn't recommend Clontarf Castle as a wedding venue enough.

We got married at Clontarf Castle in July 2024. Such an amazing venue, so stunning! We knew from the first second walking through the doors that the castle was where we wanted to celebrate our day. Our coordinator Monica and the whole team could not have been more helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, every one of our guests were thrilled with the selections. We had comments for weeks after about how beautiful the venue was and how friendly all the staff were. We would recommend Clontarf Castle time and time again. It’s such a special place; we'll cherish the memories created there forever.

We recently had our wedding in Clontarf Castle, and we had the most wonderful and beautiful day. Every single guest enjoyed their stay so much and mentioned how friendly, helpful, and professional all the staff were. Our wedding coordinator Monica was amazing, and she made us feel so at ease and had every single detail under control. Everything about the day was perfect, there was nothing we could fault. And the food in particular was amazing! I don’t think we’ve ever eaten such amazing food. We cannot wait to return to the hotel for our anniversary next year. We want to say a huge thank you to every single staff member at Clontarf Castle. You made us feel so special on the day and gave us one of the best days ever. We are so grateful that we had such a beautiful wedding day and that all our guests had such an amazing time.

We had an amazing date at Clontarf Castle. The staff looked after every detail. We used the Viking suite as it was just a small group. I have no complaints, it was brilliant! They even went out of their way to accommodate my Dad who is in a wheelchair and he had a great day. The food was fabulous. I'd love to do it all again!

Well, what can I say.....words aren't enough to express how AMAZING this venue is. Myself and my husband got married here at the end of November and just want to give a special shout-out to Monica, Sarah, Leo, and Matti. They were the absolute A-Team and couldn't have looked after us better. From our first meeting with the wedding team right up to our big day Clontarf Castle could not have done enough for us. You all played a major part in making our special day the success it was, so thank you! I think every single guest has commented on the dinner, I've heard the steaks were to die for and cooked to perfection. Hats off to the chef for the food. It was fabulous. Even our day 2 finger food was next level as was the service. If you're thinking of having your wedding at Clontarf Castle, we couldn't recommend more.

We wanted to say thank you and well done to the team for an excellent wedding day and night of 31.12.23! The positive feedback as well from our guests came flooding in after the wedding and in particular, the food was noted as being exceptional. From the venue, the hall, the facilities, the decorations, and the staff, including the manager covering the late night shift, we could not be happier.

We got married in Clontarf castle on the 14th Jan in a slightly different wedding day style. We had immediate family for our ceremony and a meal after and we invited all our friends and family from 6 pm. We offered food around 6, 8, and 10 pm and Clontarf castle was so supportive of all our requirements. Everything flowed so well! It was an amazing day. The only thing I would say is they don’t allow this type of wedding on a Friday or Saturday and the overall cost is not too different from a traditional wedding so I think they need to rethink this! The food was amazing and so was the service! Highly recommend

Myself & Enda wanted to say thank you to you and the whole team at the Castle for our wonderful wedding experience. We had a truly wonderful and magical day, from the moment we all arrived that Friday, we were all welcomed so warmly, and nothing was too much to ask of any of you. Everyone who attended has just not stopped complimenting the hotel and they’re all so impressed. We genuinely had the best day ever and you and the team were as much a part of that as any of us.

Every second comment to me on Thursday was about how beautiful the castle is, how genuinely lovely the staff were and how the meal was the best wedding meal they'd ever had (people couldn't believe they got duck for a starter!). Our Wedding was like a Fairy Tale. The Moment we entered the Castle it was a wow feeling. This was my first time to visit the Castle. The staff, the decor, the colour, the Christmas trees, the food, the service was perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We will always remember this very Special Covid-19 Wedding. WOW! WHAT CAN I SAY? CLONTARF CASTLE WERE ABSOLULTEY AMAZING! WE, LIKE MANY COUPLES, HAD TO RE-ARRANGE OUR WEDDING A FEW TIMES DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. WE BOOKED THE WEDDING WITH CLONTARF CASTLE WITH JUST THREE WEEKS TO GO. THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT, NOTHING WAS A PROBLEM! THE DAY WAS AMAZING AND THE VENUE IS JUST PERFECT! MELAINE, CIARA AND ASH WERE JUST SO PROFESSIONAL! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VENUE TO ANY COUPLES PLANNING THEIR BIG DAY. IT IS VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY TOO! ONE ASPECT THAT REALLY BLEW ME AWAY: I PACKED EVERYTHING FOR MY THREE YEAR SON BUT OF COURSE FORGOT TO PACK A SOOTHER! BOBBY WAS GETTING VERY UNSETTLED AND WOULD NOT REST UNTIL HE HAD A SOOTHER AND I ASKED THE STAFF IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY SOMEONE COULD GO AND GET A SOOTHER AND WITHIN TEN MINUTES WE HAD A NEW PACK OF SOOTHERS.
