She made us feel very relaxed with her confident reassuring nature. Our wedding day and party following day was everything we had hoped it to be and more. A few couples mentioned on the night they didn't realise what a great hotel it is and would be hoping to book their own special day there. All the staff were amazing and very professional a special mention for hotel managerJohn. We definitely recommend this hotel Paula and Alex

Well what can we say about our special day? When we went up to Cork International Hotel we were going up to check out wedding fayre, not the hotel. We were blown away with what we saw and the staff who fell all over us. The function room was amazing and wow the bridal suite thought we were in heaven. Coming up to wedding Samantha, Avril and all other staff went above and beyond with everthing. We must say the laughs and banter we had was fantastic. We had Samantha on speed dial and she was always ready to answer any questions we had. All the pressure was off us. The week of the wedding they make you feel so calm we didn't need to go up to hotel, we were so relaxed cause we knew we could trust them. The day of our wedding we walked into hotel and wow it looked amazing. We went down to room and wow it brought tear to my eye it looked amazing everything was perfect. We felt like a king and Queen they did everything we requested. All our guest commented to us and still are talking about the food. They were fantastic delivering for all different dietary requirements. The next day we decided to have in the hotel too they left us get entertainment in hotel even crazy golf and they were still falling over us. There was absolutely no pressure for us. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and will be forever grateful for what they did. We hope they have all the success the look for and will be having a lot more functions up there in near future. Thank you again. Regards Michael & Sarah

The hotel is a beautiful hotel if you want unique and everyone talking about your wedding even when its over the cork international hotel is the one to pick . as soon as u walk inside the doors your gonna get a shock its like a 5star hotel. The food is devine and they gave a lot of advice on what is best . the room was beautifully decorated and as I was having a civil ceremony in the hotel they done up the room beautifully. And then we have the toilets down stairs all I can say is oh my god it must be seen they are fabulous your guest would love it . the bedrooms are huge and great price . I have nothing but good things to say about the hotel . its a hidden gem you really need to go see it before you book anyplace else . we went to drakes pool which is the crosshaven railway walk which is only 10mins drive and beautiful with the sea and boats in the background also the hotel is close to kinsale so you could get photos there . . this hotel is a must see .

After much searching of many venues to celebrate our wedding day last July 2015 we finally decided on Corks International hotel, dealing with Samantha and Carmel couldn't have been easier, after a briefing of what we were looking for they just knew what we wanted, I myself having worked in the catering sector all my life wanted the food to be extra special and omg was it just that, out of this world. The guest rooms were superb spacious and very clean, and all our guests were extremely happy. The ceremony room was really cosy and intimate and bright. The function room was just amazing and comfortable with a very well run bar service. Last but not least, the staff were just amazing always eager to please and just couldn't do enough for you. What more can I say, we had just the best day of our lives and are so happy that we chose the Cork International hotel, and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants just to have a wedding that will stay with them and their guests forever... Got married to my childhood sweet heart in May 2015. All of our guests were blown away by how clean, affordable and well kept the hotel is. Almost a year later and our guests still comment to us about how flawless and relaxing the day was. I would highly recommend this hotel to any bride and groom getting married! We live in Dublin so everything was handled mostly through email and Samantha ensured everything we discussed was always documented and done! The staff are all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy on the wedding day and the lead up to it. The food in this hotel is excellent and portion sizes are brilliant. Every guest was well fed on the day and all dietary requirements where catered to. It truly was the best day of both our lives and I can't fault the hotel in anyway! We had a bbq for guests the night before the wedding that was very reasonably priced and a good selection. Breakfast is second to none with every option possible available. The restaurant is also top quality and very reasonably priced. Carmel, Samantha, Aaron and all the staff, thank you very much for everything you done for my husband and I. We are so grateful and very happy to have had you assist us on the most prefect and special day in our loves!

First, I want to extend my sincere thanks, gratitude and happiness to all the staff at the Cork International Hotel; Samantha - the wedding coordinator, Avril - the food/beverage manager, Aaron - the general manager and everyone else who made our day a massive success and unforgettable. So as you can see, we had our wedding held in the Cork International Hotel last Thursday, including the Civil Ceremony which I must say was an absolutely fantastic, and successful day! Over the past few months, we've been stressed to the max trying to get everything for the big day sorted out, and to make sure everything at the hotel was ready for the day. Samantha had this all covered, always remaining calm and having full reassurance that all was going to go smoothly on the day, she was 100% right. The days slowly approached, and we decided to stay at the hotel the night before the wedding so that we could be fresh the next morning and have less travelling. The big morning arrived, and it was all go! Samantha was on hand early to have everything sorted, and to make sure that we were both ok - even going as far as buying me a drink because I was so nervous! The time arrived to head to the room where the ceremony was taking place, and Samantha had everything setup better than we had expected. The ceremony, needless to say went off without a hitch and was ever so enjoyable! Intimate, cosy and just what we wanted! The reception in the lobby was also great, and much nicer than we could have ever expected, so we were happy and so were our guests with their tea/ coffee and cocktails. The evening reception was also great, the ballroom was setup to how we wanted and the food we had ordered was served to everyone. Everyone at the hotel made us feel more than welcome, even more so than that we felt like part of the family or even friends of some of the staff by the time we left. I can not recommend the Cork International highly enough for any occasion

Bill & Jillian Part 2 Being able to have the ceremony at the hotel was important to us and the room was really lovely, the hotel had offered to provide the flowers at no extra cost to us and even had petals on the floor and candles lighting all the way down to it. The room itself was round with floor to ceiling windows and Bill said he spotted me driving up to the hotel which I believe was a highlight for him, the fact I had actually turned up. The cermony was very relaxed but also very special, much more then we realized it would be. The hotel have a vintage car parked in the lobby which they rolled out and served the drinks off, our Elvis impersonator kept everyone entertained and the kids had their party packs and loved all the funky furniture, the giant egg seats especially and these made for great pictures. I had a sneaky run up to the bridal suite to check it out, the bridal wing would be a better name for it, I was so delighted we had decided to book in for a second night as I didn't have time to take it all in then. Everyone we dealt with in the run up were there on standby throughout the day if we needed anything and came up to us at different times to see how we were getting on and since the wedding everyone has commented on how great the service was at the meal. Each table had a personal server who introduced themselves and were on hand all evening. There were second helpings of beef doing the rounds of what was already a delicious dinner and the roast vegetables were very popular with everyone, except for one veggie phobic groomsman. For the laugh mid meal Bill asked would it be possible to order some mushy peas for the guy instead, not a problem. I'm a vegetarian and my meal was gorgeous but talk about attention to detail - my breakfast the next day was also vegetarian without any reminder from me and really it's that kind of good service that stays with people. After dinner, the band Refresh who were recommended to us by the Hotel were rocking, we had only told them the week before what first dance we wanted so presumed they would just through on a c.d. but we were blown away by their version of our song and they also provided the D.J., my Uncle who never dances at weddings had the jacket off and one of my favorite memories of the day is Big Dan with his tie around his head jumping about to "Put 'em under pressure". My brother in law decided to push the boat out and requested something that's probably not been asked for in the residents bar of a wedding in many years - a cup of rosey lee/tea (he's welsh) but even that was provided with good humour. Our only regret is we were having so much fun that we totally forgot to use the Pullman lounge, a cinema room with first class passenger seats that was made available to us and guests for the day. Maybe we'll get back there for the anniversary. So a huge thanks to Philip Carmel and all the team at the Cork International Airport Hotel, we couldn't and wouldn't have done it without ye.”

Bill & Jillian Part One “When two very disorganised people decide to get married it takes a team of very organised and enthusiastic people to make it happen. Now most people probably give their hotel a bit more notice than we did but after a chat and a coffee with Philip & Carmel at the Cork International Hotel we set the date, November 18th 2011, just over 3 months away. We were thrilled that they would be able to do it. After going through menu options we had a tasting evening which turned out to be great fun, we were led into a room within a room, sort of a private booth with windows out to the restaurant and Stephen the restaurant manager looked after us on the night plyed us with meal upon meal (and a glass or more of vino). Bill was so impressed and mentioned that these couldn't be the portions given at the wedding but Stephen said "no, thats exactly as it will be served on the day" and it was. So far so great. Emails then started between, Carmel and myself confirming details and last minute bits we had thought of/forgotten and these went a little like this - "Could we have a Heineken reception with the prosecco?" Great Idea. "Can we have favours for the kids?" No problem I'll hand them out "I promise I will send on the final seating plan after lunch" Tomorrow is fine, how is everything else going? "Is it ok to have an Elvis impersonator?" Of course it is. "Could you describe the cake stand?" We were never rushed or put under pressure about anything and no detail was too big or too small. When I did finally send on the seating plan Philip came up with a great idea - our "top" table would be placed on the dance floor which was in the middle of the room with all the guest tables positioned around it, the band were still able to set up without any disruption to us and after the meal nobody lost their seats. It also made it much easier for us to get around and have a chat with everyone. Anyone getting married that I've spoken to said the guest list and table planning are the hardest to get right and I think it is a pity that after all you're hard work that groups do get broken up so I really think this made the wedding such a success and people appreciated they didn't have to spend the night playing musical chairs. Although I think he's officially meant to finish at 5 we ran in to Philip on several occasions late in the evening on the run up to the wedding. It really felt like the kind of place you could just pop in and everyone knew who you were, almost like we were renting the whole hotel for the week. The night before the big day when my sister Christine brought up the wedding cake (Vegas themed with lights!) he was still there working away with Marick who was laying out the tables. With more enthusiasm then even I could muster he went through the best positioning of the cake, changed around some of the seating (sorry Philip) and wished us the best of luck for the next day.
