We had an incredible wedding day at Ballyness Resort. Surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills, and with the venue dressed with the perfect Christmas decor, it really made for a magical venue. The team on site on the day couldn’t have done any more to ensure that everything ran as smoothly as possible - and critically, they did so in such a calm and almost invisible manner. That level of professionalism was also very evident in the build up, Karen couldn’t have been more helpful - going out of her way to support with any requests that we had, and providing continual updates so that we were never left wondering how things were progressing. The layout of the venue is also very conducive to a great flow, with so many brilliant spaces. Moving between the ceremony space, courtyard and pub for the drinks reception, and back into the main room for the dinner and dance floor, all felt very natural, and all of the guests were oblivious to any prep work going on throughout the day. I think it’s very easy to be caught up in your own wedding day, but a better gauge is probably the comments of your guests. Without wanting to use too much hyperbole, we were inundated with people commenting about Ballyness being the most incredible venue, and have actually had people reaching out having seen the photos and content, to ask for more details. In summary then, a beautiful venue, an amazing team - from Karen as the coordinator, to Arbutus the caterers, to Shay and the team running the bar. We felt very lucky to have been able to get married at Ballyness, and would recommend in a heartbeat.

We got married at Ballyness resort in November 2025 and had the most amazing day. We went to view Ballyness in January 2025 and booked it straight away, the staff were excellent, any queries I had I received a response straight away and nothing was ever too much hassle. On the weeks leading up to the wedding Karen was incredible messaging me back and forth (keeping me calm and organised) and on the day both Karen and Beth ensured that everything ran smoothly, checking if I needed anything. This was the majority of my guests first time at Ballyness and every single one of them commented on how amazing the venue, the grounds and the accommodation was. Would 100% recommend Ballyness to anyone planning a wedding

We got married at Ballyness last August and want to specifically highlight how incredible Karen and Bryan were on the day of our wedding at Ballyness. We met with them two days beforehand to drop off lots of items and go through the final details, trusting them to take care of everything and they absolutely delivered. On the day itself, everything was perfect and exactly how we had imagined, and they looked after us so well throughout the entire day. It made such a difference knowing we were in safe hands and could truly relax and enjoy every moment. We’re so grateful to Karen and Bryan for everything they did for us on the day, we honestly can’t thank them enough.

Anyways, we just wanted to properly thank you and the team for absolutely everything you did for us on the 8th August. You were amazing and so helpful, any couples who have you from start to finish are in for a treat. We knew it was a bit of a risk going for Ballyness so early on after opening but everything paid off. The guests couldn't rave about the venue enough and I'm so smug that I'll be able to say we were one of the earlier ones! Brian was also brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful on the day. I'm already planting seeds with Hal for a wee night next year to celebrate our anniversary.
