We had the best day at Stonehouse Court! The venue, food, team and atmosphere was perfect for our wedding. Gemma, the wedding coordinator is fabulous and responds promptly to emails. What a fantastic day! The hotel and staff went beyond what was expected to make our day so magical. The staff were very hard working but always appeared cheerful. We had our special day at Stonehouse Court and it was fantastic. Our wedding planner Gemma helped us all the way, giving us useful, helpful and important information throughout the process. Even during the pandemic our emails and calls were answered and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff at the hotel were so helpful and professional. Special thanks goes to Gemma for all of the help pre-wedding with the planning and organisation (and agreeing to some of our crazy requests!), Dominic for managing the entire day and evening so well - not only were you so incredibly efficient you were a joy to have around and you really played a big part in our day going as well as it did, and last but not least Mike for being so friendly, funny and welcoming over the 2 days we were at Stonehouse Court - the cocktails served outside in the evening were fantastic also and were a great hit! Our guests had the best day also and are still telling us how much fun they had. Many of them commented that it was the best wedding they had been to, and loved the venue and grounds. We must say a special thank you also to the catering team as everyone LOVED their food. They were all hot and delicious! A few people, including me, want the recipe for the sauce that was on the haddock! We felt very welcomed from day 1, and Stonehouse Court will always hold a special place in our heart. What can we say! Stonehouse Court have been brilliant from start to finish. The main reason why we chose them over other venues was how helpful they were and how they weren’t trying to force us to book with them. Over the 1 and a half years of planning they stayed in contact and were quick to answer any questions we had. So the wedding day... it was utterly perfect! Myself and my bridesmaids stayed in the beautiful bridal suite the night before and Jack and his best man stayed down the corridor. This made the morning more calming for both of us. Dom was on hand all day offering us advice and giving us heads up for what was to happen. We got married outside of the Caroline Suite and it was beautiful! All of our guests commented on how extraordinary the venue was. Our drinks on the terrace were superb in the sun. Whilst this was happening, the staff laid out the tables perfectly for us and had us quickly check them. The food was phenomenal and all guests (including some with severe food allergies) were catered for. After this, we were welcomed outside whilst the Caroline suite was quickly set up for our evening disco. Again, absolutely perfect! The evening food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. They complimented our playlist that we made ourselves to be played on the speakers outside whilst the guests waited (a brilliant idea!). Basically, we cannot fault Stonehouse Court. Wow what a brilliant venue for our wedding! A brilliant location as we got married at the beautiful church next door, and have some beautiful photos next to the canal, on the lawns and out the front of the hotel. Our guests were so impressed with the venue- brilliant rooms and service. The food was OUTSTANDING! Many guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had and we loved that guests had a full choice of the menu for no extra cost. The day led by Dominic was really smooth and well run. Emmanuel was utterly fantastic in supporting us and with a minor medical emergency. Paige was amazing in the run-up; very organised and supportive. I cannot recommend this venue more strongly- it was unbelievably good value and we had the best day ever!

When we came to view your hotel for a possible wedding venue we both fell in love with it, especially the Caroline suit. It’s an amazing space with big open windows over looking a beautiful garden. The grounds are beautiful with a lovely canal at the end, we were very lucky we had a sunny winter wedding where we could spend some time outside enjoying the grounds. The day ran really smoothly, all the staff were helpful professional and friendly. Emanuel looked after us and took care of the smooth running of the day he was brilliant and so friendly. We got to know him and had a laugh with him. Anything you needed he was there, even asking if we needed anything just before he was leaving for the night and we were happy dancing, he done enough and deserved to go home. The food was amazing and all the guests commented on that too. We will definitely come back on our anniversary to enjoy the hotel again. Thank you to Paige who we liased with over the past year, we kept in touch by email and she would always get back to you as soon as she could and would do what she could for any requests we had. Thankyou again for a fantastic wedding.

The day was perfect in every way. The day ran like clockwork and we both felt very relaxed in the knowledge that all the staff worked so hard to make it special. Big thanks go to Paige and Dominic. Paige for all the initial arrangements and Dominic for orchestrating the day. The venue and food were excellent and many complimentary remarks were received. Having our wedding at Stonehouse Court Hotel was the best decision we made, it's a lovely hotel and the staff are very helpful, the food and service were first class,Paige was great to work with making our day very special,also Dominic done all he could to make the day go smooth and without any problems,the bar staff were very helpful and always happy to help, the Caroline Suite was a lovely place to get married and the staff made the room look fantastic,the food for the wedding breakfast was first class and the buffet for the evening disco was lovely ,the disco in the evening was great which came with the package, I would highly recommend Stonehouse Court Hotel as a great venue for a wedding or any party.

2nd December 2017 was the most amazing day for me and my husband Dale We looked at having our wedding at Stonehouse Court nearly 2 years ago. We had our 1st meeting with the then wedding coordinator Fred, who due to personal reasons left and handed over the reins to Paige, what an amazing person, she was there for me and Dale all the way through our organising, Paige is very professional and knew exactly what we wanted. The night before our wedding we were introduced to Dominic who would be our wedding speaker on the day, he is so friendly and really put us as ease. I stayed the night before with my daughter in law (chief bridesmaid) and was made to feel very important and special, all the staff were friendly and made me and my bridesmaid feel very welcome The morning of the wedding Paige,Dominic and the staff on duty were great at making the morning go with ease, delivering anything we needed at our requests. Paige was especially good with helping and aiding my dad who struggles to get around, think he enjoyed the attention she gave him, my dad loved her. Paige even went the extra mile and brought Christmas tree lights from her home to decorate the trees in the Caroline suite as I wanted clear lights (rather than the blue lights that they already had decorated the trees) she then removed the decorations already on the trees and redecocorated the trees to my colours. Dominic was great at the wedding breakfast and made everyone happy, the food was perfect and all came out quickly and hot, Both Paige and Dominic with the help of the staff worked so hard to make our day perfect, there was nothing we would change, the day was exactly how we wanted it and that was all thanks to the staff. I couldn't thank them enough, all the staff were friendly and always smiling, It felt like the staff wanted to make our day special not that it was just their job, All the staff were/are a asset to Stonehouse Court

What can we say about our wedding experience other than "PERFECT". From the first viewings of Stonehouse Court right up until the day its self it was amazing. Paige managed to understand exactly what we wanted, even after taking us back under her wing after her illness. The venue is superb, the staff are polite and attentive and the food was amazing. Being a winter wedding the weather can always play a part, and I am still not sure how they managed to arrange a perfect crisp cold day with clear blue skys !! We had the most perfect day that was managed by Paige, Emmauel and Dominic. But everyone from Caroline at breakfast through the bar staff (sorry mate I cannot remember you name) to the table waiting staff, everyone gave 100% to make our day one to remember and need a special mention. They didn't need to go the extra mile....but they did. Thank you all. As a couple you always worry about your guests as you are consumed by the day, but the feedback from our guests has been fantastic. The room we stayed in (room 2) was perfect.....and I plan to book it for our anniversary for years to come (but don't tell my new wife !!) Being an older couple we maybe expect a little more than young newly weds.....and Stonehouse and the staff delivered in spades. We thank everyone from the front desk staff, the chef at breakfast (...best full English I have had for years) to the chef and his team for the wedding breakfast...... and I know I am gushing a bit now.....but the praise is totally deserved. If you are considering Stonehouse as a wedding venue, then consider no more....BOOK IT. You will not be disappointed, if your day is half as good as ours you will have the best day. Russell and Mary

In April 2016 we booked our wedding with Stonehouse court after visiting the refurbished Caroline suite and bedrooms which were at the time under renovation. I would like to say everything ran smoothly from day one but if I’m honest that really wasn’t the case, at that time the wedding coordinator did not seem to really have an understanding of what really was going on l, this could have been down to workload but when you book your wedding it’s a big deal to you and I think simply being remembered would be a start which was not the case on occasion. There was many other issues which followed but we don’t need to detail all of them. But onto the positive as the day approached they have appointed a coordinator named Paige, who had done all she can to try salvage the reputation which stonehouse court had given us, and with management of Marion I can honestly say by the time the big day was over they done just that, everything ran smoothly in the weeks building up with constant communication and updates, the service they both provided was what we wanted and expected from day one but we can’t thank them enough. The big day went extremely well and this was down to everyone we saw including Dominic who I didn’t get chance to speak to as clearly was organising and keeping all in check. Also thanks to the bar staff who worked tirelessly to the support staff working with Paige. Thanks again the Forrester’s

We had our special day on the 16/12/17 and it was just the best day you could of asked for and a huge reason for the success of the day goes to the staff at Stonehouse Court Hotel, notably Paige and Dom (who was our wedding manager for the day). We initially enquiried about the venue some 14 months ago and initially dealt with Fred who subsequently left for new pastures and the role was taken over by Paige who quite frankly is an asset to the Hotel. So easy to deal with, prompt in getting back to you with answers for any questions or queries, very accommodating and nothing was to much trouble so we really can’t thank her enough and as I said before the day just went far beyond our expectations and it ran like clockwork thanks to the timetable set out beforehand and then Dom & his team seeing it out perfectly. Also a big thanks to the Genera Manager who was always very welcoming whenever we visited and was very kind when we had our food tasting session. We really can’t recommend Stonehouse Court Hotel enough for a wedding venue. The staff and venue are just brilliant and if we could do it all again we would do it all the same here. We were married at Stonehouse Court Hotel in early October and had a wonderful day. We began our wedding planning mid 2016 and were impressed by the helpful support of our wedding coordinator Fred. We were concerned when Fred left in Spring 2017, however we needn’t have worried as Paige proved to be an able replacement. We wanted our wedding to be informal and relaxed with the odd quirky touch. She quickly understood what we were aiming for and was well organised, responsive, friendly and reassuring. The hotel was more than happy to accommodate the various special diets of a number of our guests as well as the arrangements we wanted for the large number of young children attending. We had what initially looked like a setback when about 5 weeks before the wedding we were informed that Paige was unwell and wouldn’t be back in work until about a week before our wedding. We had a somewhat unsatisfactory meeting with a member of staff but before matters escalated the General Manager Marian Jurko stepped in. He was very proactive in resolving things and was keen to take the stress out of the situation for us, so Dominic, who would be running our wedding day, took over as our point of contact. Although we were concerned to have had four wedding coordinators in our preparation, and to have to revisit our requirements four times, we were happy with how the hotel responded to the unexpected difficulties. On the day we were cared for brilliantly by Dominic. Everything flowed and seemed effortless. All the food was lovely, the weather held out and we were able to enjoy the grounds. The Caroline Suite lawn and children’s play ground came into their own. The staff were friendly and attentive, our guests felt well looked after and were very complimentary about the hotel and the wedding. Thank you Paige and Dominic, you are an asset to the team. Knowing what we know now, would we choose Stonehouse Court as our wedding venue if we were doing it again...Yes we would.

I got married at Stonehouse Court in August and cannot express how fantastic this place is for a wedding venue! We were so lucky with the weather which meant guests were able to enjoy all the lovely outside space on offer! Throughout our planning the previous organiser left, however upon meeting Paige we were quickly reassured there was nothing to be worried about! Paige was brilliant, so friendly and organised, always quick to respond to any queries, left nothing to concern. On the day everything went perfectly, the food was amazing, every member of staff so attentive. Special thanks to Dominic who is a credit to Stonehouse! He really was a superstar and very attentive the day ran effortlessly nothing was too much trouble and up until the next day when we left you were made to feel like special guests! Thank you so much Stonehouse Court!!

11/6/17 - Stonehouse Court Hotel From start to finish we could of not of wished for a better team of people to help us organise our wedding day. We initially meet with Fred back in January 2017, how took everything in his stride offering help and advice from the very first moment. We met with Fred and his team on a number of occasions as we wanted our day to be as relaxed and informal to reflect our personalities and was always dealt with in a friendly and professional manner. Our day was excellently how we had envisaged it, the staff were great with us and all of our guests with a special mention for Emanuel how inconspicuously take charge to make sure the day ran smoothly, he is a credit to a professional team. Thanks to everybody for a fantastic day.

My new wife and I could simply not have asked for more from Stone House Court, both the attentiveness and planning in the run up to the event and the hassle free way in which things were handled on the day was beyond all our expectations. As with any wedding we had small unforeseen issues which no-one could have anticipated (our wedding cake collapsing in transit for example), but at every stage the team at Stone House Court rushed to our rescue and got things back on track. I'd like to say a special thank you to Paige who was our rock in the lead up to the big day, answering all our questions (of which there were many, large and small) with speed, efficiency and reassurance. It was always going to be a stressful time but Paige gave us the confidence that when we turned up on the day everything would be taken care of, and it was! I'd also like be thank Emanuel who ran the day for us and ensured we were in the right places at the right times, he was courteous, professional and reassuring which meant that we could forget about the organisation and enjoy our day! I would particularly like to thank him for being so accommodating with timings, within reason we was happy to push thing forward or backwards as required which really helped to make the day stress free, I cant thank him enough. The venue itself is beautiful and having just received our wedding photos it really makes all the difference! We've got some amazing memories and the photos only go to reinforce them. Lastly and by no means least, the food, given the number of people being served at once I didn't expect the food to be much more than average but I'm please to say I was very wrong. The food was beautiful and again the team were very accommodating in looking after one particularly fussy guest by serving a completely separate menu for her! All I all, we really couldn't have asked for more! Well done all and THANK YOU once again!

We got married at Stonehouse Court on Saturday 1st July 2017, and it was the best day of our lives. Everything from start to finish went so smoothly, without a single hicup! Paige and her team set up our venue overnight due to another event on the friday, and they did everything to our plan and it was perfect! We had so many amazing comments about the food. All of the staff were very attentive, everytime I walked past someone they made sure everything was alright and did it all with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and because of all of this we had the best day ever. We want to re-live every second of it but we wouldnt change a thing. Absolutely fantastic experience! The whole wedding day and all the planning up to our wedding was perfect! The team at Stonehouse court hotel were professional and polite throughout the whole process and nothing was too much trouble for them! Would highly recommend the venue and the team to any prospective brides and grooms! We were absolutely 100% happy with our day, it could not have gone any better! The team that included Fred, Maz, Dom and others were outstanding in their field!

From the moment we stepped foot inside stonehouse court hotel whilst planning our wedding we were greeted warmly by all the staff. After looking around similar local venues our minds were quickly made up by Fred Metcaffs confident and understanding manner. During the planning of the wedding Fred was always happy and willing to help and discuss and questions we had. We were kept up to date with every aspect of how our big day would be planned out and this was a great relief In what otherwise could have been a stressful time. On the evening before the wedding we met Emmanuel, whom would be running the day. He took us through once again the plan for the day and made our minds at ease that we would be taken care of in the best possible way. Throughout our wedding day nothing was too much trouble for Emmanuel and his team. They Even changing a few times to suit how the day was going. We can't thank you all enough, and would not change a single thing about our wedding day. We had over 150 guests, many of whom stayed the night at the hotel and received the same top notch level of service we did. Our wedding was 25/03/2017. Stonehouse Court Hotel was our perfect venue, we had the opportunity to have our ceremony in the stunning manor house, our photos within the beautiful grounds and our wedding breakfast and reception in the self-contained Caroline suite. The service, food and attitudes of staff were all exemplary, with our guests especially commenting that that food for both the wedding breakfast and evening buffet was brilliant. The Staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't have done more to help us, Fred in the planning stages was very accommodating to our needs and flexible to what we wanted. On the day itself Emanuel our master of ceremonies, was very keen to please and kept us informed of what was happening throughout the day. Mike the bar man was very enthusiastic and complimentary of our day and our guests, and Paige was also on hand to help in anyway possible during the day, evening and next morning making it for us an amazing day. The venue was set up to our specifications and issues or queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The facilities and options offered by the hotel and their staff allowed us to adapt our wedding to be everything we wanted it to be and allowed us to cater for and support the different members of our wedding party including very young children, elderly and disabled guests. Stonehouse Court Hotel is a venue we will be strongly recommending to family and friends in the future for both weddings and other events, and we would like to thank them for helping us make our wedding an amazing day to remember.
