We had lots of flexibility to make the day our own, and the food was excellent - very important for us! It was also great that accommodation was available on-site for all our guests, so it felt like a mini holiday. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and peaceful the venue was and how relaxed they felt there, which really contributed to the vibe on the day. Absolutely the most amazing and special wedding week we could have ever imagined. We chose to rent the castle and a few cottages for several days for our wedding week to accommodate all of our guests, and it was perfection. Amy and the staff at Belle Isle were so helpful and accommodating. With their guidance, I was able to coordinate all the wedding details with ease - no additional wedding planner needed! The communication and preparation of the Belle Isle team were top-notch. The whole week went off smoothly without a hitch, and our guests kept calling it “the land cruise” because it was so easy and comfortable for them. The cottages are cozy and welcoming, and surprisingly spacious. And the castle is the perfect mix of grandeur and country comfort. The suggestions for vendors and activities were spot on, and every day was special. I wish I could go back and do it all over every single year. WOW! Where to even begin? Choosing to have our wedding at Belle Isle was the best decision we ever made! It has the perfect mixture of rustic castle vibes, mixed with nature, luxury, and romance. Our wedding was truly like something out of a storybook. As we live in Canada, planning our wedding from abroad was a challenge; however, we worked with the wonderful Emma from start to finish. Emma had incredible communication and was always sure to send us photos, hop on a call, or answer any questions we had throughout the planning process. On the day, Emma was in the background, making sure everything ran smoothly! She did SO MUCH behind-the-scenes work to make sure our day was unforgettable. One of our favourite parts about Belle Isle is that you can make your wedding your own. From any DIY, table plan, decor, music choice, or vendor you want, the day is truly yours to decide. We did use some of the vendors Belle Isle suggested, and they were all brilliant! Norman and Anne from Saddlers were delightful to work with as well! Overall, our guests all thought the estate and accommodation were beautiful. My personal favourite was the 2 two donkeys that will greet you as you drive up towards the castle! What a magical time we had at Belle Isle! From planning it all to the big day, Emma and everyone at Belle Isle were fabulous. Emma made the process so easy and answered the many questions I had. I never felt nervous because I knew we were in great hands. The castle and property are STUNNING, but everyone's kindness is what I remember most. We were on the property for 4 wonderful days, and the accommodations were absolutely perfect. Each room in the castle was so unique, and we loved all the wallpaper, especially in the Bridal Suite. Speaking of the Bridal Suite, it was the perfect spot to get ready on the morning of our wedding. The preferred vendors list Belle Isle provided was immensely helpful. Everyone we used from that list was spectacular. We came from the States, so it was helpful to navigate finding vendors across the globe! Getting to finally meet Emma in person was such a treat. Her kindness, attention to detail, and calming presence were truly special. She did an incredible job leading the way and making sure everything ran smoothly on the big day. We lucked out with the weather and had a beautiful ceremony outside with the lake in the background. The cocktail hour and reception both went beautifully, and the food from Saddler's was outstanding! I am still daydreaming about that brownie and ice cream. Belle Isle was a perfect setting for our dream castle wedding. The guests had an amazing time, and it was so incredible to have everyone staying on property, either in the castle itself or the cute cottages. We had an amazing experience at Belle Isle. We did a destination wedding and hadn't seen the venue in person until the day before the wedding, and it did not disappoint. Emma and her team were so welcoming and helpful and made the entire process and coordinating our vendors so easy. The venue is beautiful, the castle was incredible to stay at the night before and of the wedding. Our guests were able to stay either with us in the castle or a short walk at the cottages. They exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding.

The Castle at Belle Isle was a magnificent setting for our dream wedding, and the rooms were beautiful for each guest, providing everyone who attended a fantastic experience. We are from the USA, and so had to coordinate everything remotely in advance, and this worked out great because everything was in place for our arrival and all we had to do was enjoy the experience and venue. Our coordinator at Belle Isle, Amy Timoney, helped us each step of the way - from our initial Zoom Meeting to explore the castle - to providing suggestions for the various vendors we hired to provide the customized experience we wanted - with bagpiper on arrival, beautiful flowers and decorations, delicious food, fireworks, etc! The venue is unbelievably beautiful grounds and each room is appointed beautifully. If you’ve seen movies where the characters get married in an Irish / Scottish castle, and there’s a fire in the fireplace and a huge hall to eat in, then you will love Belle Isle! Thank you to all the staff at Belle Isle for giving us the wedding of a lifetime!

We got married at Belle Isle on 2nd November 2024 and stayed in the venue for a total of three nights. We were a party of 50 family members who stayed between the castle and the cottages. We had an absolute ball and we would highly recommend the Belle Isle to any couples who are looking for a unique and intimate venue which is available for private hire. The castle is stunning with many beautiful bedrooms, living areas and a large kitchen which can be shared by all castle residents. Amy was our wedding planner and she was exceptionally helpful and patient with us in the 12 months leading up to the wedding – always responding to our queries in a timely manner and providing us with guidance on vendors as we were not from the local area. We did two planning video calls with Amy in the lead-up to our big day where she talked us through the timeline for the day and ensured we were happy with all details. When we arrived at Belle Isle for our wedding weekend we were so well looked after from the first moment we drove through the gates. Amy kindly showed all of our guests to their accommodation as they arrived and provided them with a tour of the venue. On the day of the wedding, all of the Belle Isle team and the amazing catering team from Horseshoe and Saddlers worked together to ensure everything ran smoothly allowing for us to enjoy every minute without any worries or stress. Many of our wedding guests have commented on how impressed they were with all of the team in the Belle Isle over the weekend. Amy and the team thought of every little detail and the Belle Isle team did a beautiful job of setting up the Grand Hall for the ceremony and later in the day for the meal. We had such a wonderful day and we would have no hesitation in recommending Belle Isle as an excellent wedding venue.

Belle Isle was a perfect venue for us. We had an easy time checking in, and organizing entertainment for the few days we were there. We worked with Amy as our coordinator and if we could recommend her to each and every engaged couple we meet - we would & we have! Planning our day with Amy was a dream. She continuously went above and beyond to ensure that we were calm, and organised, and felt completely sure of each & every detail of our day. Again, planning from afar was a challenge at times but Amy never made us feel that anything was a bother or that we needed to be stressed in the slightest. With any questions that we had about vendors to work with, local spots to visit while there, customs or mailing enquiries, or anything in between, Amy was more than available to help. We never had to wait long to hear from her & with each interaction she was extraordinarily pleasant, patient, informative, & understanding. Moreover and more than anything, in our review, we just would like to convey that when we arrived on the grounds at Belle Isle Estate for our day, Amy was overwhelmingly welcoming & kind to us. She stressed that we remained relaxed & present to enjoy our time there and did everything in her power to ensure that this happened. We came to Belle Isle as strangers & truly feel as though we left as friends with Amy. She treated us as we feel, she would have treated family and we will be forever grateful to her for her time ensuring that our day and time spent at Belle Isle was magical. We were blown away by the venue and staff at Belle Isle! They helped make wedding planning (especially vendor coordination) a breeze. There were plenty of activities offered on the grounds and many group activities recommended by the venue that could take place right at the castle. (We had the NI School of Falconry and it was one of the guests' favourite parts of the trip!) Our coordinator, Emma, gave us the utmost peace of mind that our wedding day would run smoothly, which allowed us to be present for every moment of our big day. We used vendors suggested by the venue, and Emma had great relationships with all of them. Emma was extremely organised and we fully trusted her to ensure all the details were in place (favours, name cards, flower delivery, programs, vendor set-up locations, etc.) and she did not disappoint. The day couldn’t have gone more smoothly :) The banqueting staff was fantastic and our bartender, Ann, was the sweetest and most fun person! The wedding morning for the ladies was extremely stress-free thanks to the staff bringing and cleaning up breakfast. We couldn’t recommend Belle Isle enough due to the beautiful scenery, stunning castle interior, fantastic staff, and incredible value for what we paid. If we were to do it all again - this would still be our first pick!

The castle is such a special place to stay, and each room is unique. Our guests loved the relaxed feel of the cottages and being able to join us for breakfast in the castle. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was so helpful with providing anything we needed. Our wedding coordinator, Emma, was fantastic from the very beginning and, in the lead-up to the big day, really went out of her way to alleviate any stresses we might have had. We had a very large wedding, but everything went so smoothly on the day, and this was all thanks to Emma, John, and their team, as well as the team from Saddlers Catering, who provided incredible food! We will forever have the best memories of our wedding at Belle Isle and really recommend it as a perfect wedding venue!
