We celebrated our wedding reception at the Celtic Ross Hotel on the 23rd of November this year, with 180 of our family and friends. We also had our Day two in the Celtic Ross with about 80 guests. What we experienced from the hotel over the weekend was exceptional. What stood out the most was the care, warmth and attention to detail displayed by the staff in the hotel. From the first meeting with the hotel to the morning we left (which was 2 days later as we didn’t want to leave!) the hotel’s approach was consistently thoughtful and attentive. Everything felt warm and welcoming— Eva, Colette, Philip and the team were so genuine in helping us create the wedding we’d hoped for. Working closely with the wedding coordinator Eva felt like collaborating with someone who truly understood what we wanted—her guidance was clear, patient and always considerate. Throughout both days, we saw the same care extended by staff to our guests, many of whom remarked, “We can’t get over how nice the staff are!” Hearing this more than once during the weekend just reinforced how committed the entire team was to making everyone feel welcome and at ease. At our menu tasting, (a highlight of our wedding experience with the Celtic Ross) Eva was fully attentive and present with us throughout. We were introduced to head chef Philip on the night, who delivered the most amazing meal for our guests on the day. The day 2 buffet maintained the same high standard, and guests were just as impressed. Whether we were in final preparations, on the day itself or enjoying the more relaxed Day 2, the atmosphere at the Celtic Ross stayed consistent. What stood out was the warmth, genuine interest and responsiveness of everyone in the hotel. This not only put us at ease but meant our guests were very well cared for. If you are looking for a wedding venue that genuinely cares about your experience and overall enjoyment of your wedding day, look no further than the Celtic Ross.

We cannot thank the staff at The Celtic Ross Hotel enough for the wonderful wedding experience they provided for us. From planning to the day itself. Eva was always very helpful with any questions we had and provided plenty of advice. The day itself couldn't have been better. They checked on our babysitter several times throughout the night to see if she and our daughter needed anything which was so thoughtful. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. All our guests were raving about it. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for wedding reception options.

We got married in September and had our reception at the Celtic Ross Hotel. I can't thank the Celtic Ross enough for making our wedding day so special. Eva, the wedding coordinator, was always just a phone call away with all the answers, help, and advice I needed in the lead-up to our big day. Eva took all the stress out of the planning and was so professional and friendly that it felt like I was talking to an old friend. Our guests raved about how nice the meal was and how fantastic the service felt. The hotel is tastefully decorated, set in a beautiful location, and has such kind, attentive staff. It was truly an amazing day, and I would highly recommend the Celtic Ross Hotel.

What can we say about the Celtic Ross Hotel…. From our first visit to meet Eva, we were blown away. Her attention to detail and her reassurance that everything worked out in the end was just what we needed after a bad experience at another hotel nearby. The Celtic Ross Hotel reminded us that not all hotels are about the money some are personal and actually care about their customers. Anything we asked for was never a problem. From the first day to the last day when we collected our last few bits we were treated with respect. Every single member of the team were second to none and we were truly treated like royalty. The day itself, as Eva predicted, the weather was fab.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Eva from the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery for our wedding on the 16th of September 2023, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything turned out. From start to finish, Eva ensured that the entire day flowed seamlessly. The room was beautifully decorated, creating the perfect atmosphere for what was an unforgettable night with our family and friends. Eva’s attention to detail and professionalism truly stood out. She took the time to listen to our ideas, offering suggestions that elevated our vision to another level. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she always made us feel like we were her top priority. Whether it was arranging the flow of the day, organizing the vendors, or making sure every little detail was in place, Eva handled everything with grace and precision. The staff at Celtic Ross, under her guidance, were also incredible. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and many of our guests commented on how smoothly everything went. It was evident that Eva worked closely with her team to ensure that every moment of the day was perfect. We felt completely relaxed and confident in her hands, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day. From the first day when we came to view the hotel, the team at the Celtic Ross accommodated us fantastically - the staff truly drew us in with their personalities. Management and every member of staff were so friendly and helpful, and that continued throughout our experience with the Celtic Ross. Our meetings ran smoothly, and the changes we asked for due to COVID were no problem for the team. Eva and Deborah, our fabulous wedding coordinators, tailored the perfect wedding package to suit our needs. Our family from abroad came and stayed in the hotel for a few days. They could not speak more highly of their stay. The location is so handy - and overlooking the water was the cherry on top! Just stunning! The hotel catered for a large family meal the night before our wedding, and the food that evening, as well as of course on the wedding day itself, was beautiful. So delicious! We got beautiful wedding photographs on the bridge, with the hotel in the background, as well as photographs on the pier across the road. We can't recommend the Celtic Ross enough, and such a huge thank you to Eva and her team who made sure our day ran on time and everyone was at ease and really enjoyed themselves. We can't wait to come and stay again for our one-year anniversary

Where do we even start with this review? If we could give the Celtic Ross Hotel a million stars in the review for our wedding day, it still wouldn't be enough! We had our wedding day on the 6th of August 2023 and it was better than our wildest dreams could have imagined it. Before we ever booked our wedding with the hotel, we loved it for the incredible location and staff, however, it was the very first call with the wedding planner that sealed the deal! We didn't speak to any other hotels before the Celtic Ross and decided after the first phone call with them, that we didn't need to speak to anyone else, as we would never get married anywhere but there. Then through the months of planning, the wedding planners, Mags and Eva, made the process so easy! They are two incredible people, who make you feel like family and make you feel like you are the only bride and groom to ever have existed! They make you feel special and you can easily tell they care about everyone they work with! It's not just a job for them, it's their passion, which makes it even more special. Nothing was too much to ask and they were always only a text or phone call away. They even gave the bridal team the beautiful Warren Suite to get hair and makeup done the morning of the wedding, without even being asked, and they closed off the public Tower Room so we could do a private first look before our ceremony! How could you ask for more? Not only that but on the wedding day, Eva did everything for me as the bride, from helping me down the stairs to holding my train and veil to minding my bag. Just amazing! And I have to say, Eva's happy smile and reassurance on the day, really helped calm my nerves Regarding the guests' stay, we had 35 rooms booked the night of the wedding and Katie looked after everyone and made the process so easy, from making sure all the bridal party were booked for breakfast the morning of the wedding, at times that suited the hair and makeup schedule.

Overall, it was a fantastic weekend. All of our guests spoke highly of the food, facilities and accommodation. We especially appreciated the efforts made by the team for guests who had additional requests. Nothing was a burden to your team and made it very stress free for us. On the big day even with the early start everything was a dream. The day ran like clockwork and the food and decor was incredible. Brett served us an incredible meal consisting the stress of the rugby. Lots of people said it was the best seafood they had ever had and we have heard one table was fighting for leftovers when someone couldn't finish their steak. My work colleagues are still talking about the salmon canapés. Our guests with dietary requirements raved about the gluten free food and loved that it was so seamless. We think the main thing that made the weekend so amazing was the team you have in place. Everyone was friendly and fun, lots of smiles! Chantelle's dad loved all the fuss he got and it made his weekend too. We also appreciated Neil dressing up for the occasion and the dancing bar man during the reception. Deborah, Neil and all the team at the Celtic Ross Hotel are just fantastic. We were due to get married on 21.08.20, but due to COVID 19 we decided to postpone until next year. When we first contacted Deborah about this she was just superb and so accommodating, as were all of our vendors. Fast forward to July this year we decided that we would still like to say our I do’s and luck was on our side, having already got our MRF and contacted our wonderful celebrant and Deborah we got the green light. We honestly cannot thank Deborah and all the team they went above and beyond to make our day so so special. From all the little touches, down to the way the beautiful warren suite was set up and the red carpet and Champagne arrival it was more than we could have ever have dreamed of especially given the way things are at the moment. Although we might not have had everyone with us as originally planned, it was still the most magical day. We are looking forward to hopefully having our 1st year anniversary here with everyone who couldn’t make it this year. We can’t wait to return and cannot recommend the Celtic Ross Hotel or Deborah and all the team enough. They are doing the most amazing job in such testing times and always putting you first. Our wedding day at the Celtic Ross Hotel was amazing. The food is simply outstanding and all of our guests thought the same. The function room and new outdoor drinks reception area are beautiful. The team and all the staff are wonderful and make you feel like your wedding is the only wedding to ever happen there! We wish we could do it all again at the Celtic Ross!

We arrived the day before the ceremony with some of our guests, we received a great welcome & immediately felt @ ease, everything was going to be perfect on the day and it was !!! The weather was glorious, the Ceremony in the tower room was everything we could have hoped for. The staff were great & so friendly, our guests enjoyed the drinks reception afterwards & tasty canapés. Later we had dinner in the ballroom, food was fabulous & plentiful. The team at Celtic Ross were absolutely fantastic on our special day and the time coming up to it. The views were fantastic and so was the service. It was the best day we had with good people around us. I would recommend this hotel to everyone as I couldn’t say a bad word about them. Really looking forward to going back there. I honestly cannot recommend the Celtic Ross Hotel highly enough!!! From the moment we walked in the door to view the hotel we knew it was exactly what we were looking for and it did not disappoint. Nothing was too much for Neil and Marie and the staff went above and beyond to make sure the day was everything we wanted and more. We were blown away by their attention to detail and all the extra little touches that helped make the day so special. The Celtic Ross takes great pride in their food and it's obvious why! All of our guests commented on the quality of the food on how amazing the food tasted. We had our wedding in the Celtic Ross hotel on the 27th April 2019, Anyone who is considering this hotel needs to go ahead and book. The staff were so helpful from start to finish. All our guests were impressed with the food it was full of flavour, more than enough food, the service ran efficiently without any delays to any table. The décor in the ballroom was beautiful and all our requests for anything were made and it turned out exactly how we imagined. I would highly recommend this hotel for a wedding or for any event

I could not recommend the Celtic Ross Hotel more to anyone considering it for their wedding. Gorgeous hotel, stunning location, and the staff stop at nothing to make sure your day is everything you want it to be! We planned our wedding from overseas and Marie literally took care of everything! We held our ceremony at the hotel also (which I can highly recommend) but it didn’t stop there, Marie helped with choosing a band, the cake maker, the flowers, every step along the way she was there to offer her advice and experience. It completely took the stress out of it for us. On the day and in the lead-up, Deborah was also amazing and the entire team truly made our day everything we wanted. So very happy we chose the Celtic Ross Hotel.

Ray & I got married in Oct 2018 at the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery. We used the round tower for our civil Ceremony and had our drinks reception in the bar and dinner in the function room. We organised our wedding from Overseas so initially it was difficult to imagine how it would all come together but as soon as we landed in Ireland and met Marie our minds were put at ease that it was all going to go smoothly. Our day was ran so well and we were taken care of the entire day. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Afterwards we received so many compliments from guests it put our mind at ease that everyone was looked after. The high points on the day for us was the care from Marie and Neil and all other staff. Also we were super impressed with the food which for us was so important Alex and his team did a superb job. The food looked stunning on the plate. All round it was a fantastic venue to get married in and there is nothing we would change. Thank you to all at the Celtic Ross and keep up the amazing work.

Every single member of staff in the Celtic Ross Hotel were fantastic for our wedding from the very beginning. They couldn't have done more for us. The sun shone and we got amazing photos on the Warren Beach locally. All our guests were looked after and everyone spoke highly of the service and friendliness of the staff. The drinks reception with sweet cart and mojitos went down a treat!! The whole meal was truly delicious. One Uncle said the beef was the best he ever had. High praise! Half our family are from up the country so this was very much a destination wedding for us with everyone staying for the weekend. It was wonderful to bring them down to Rosscarbery and West Cork. We were so happy with how our day went. The Hotel did everything we asked and more.

We had an amazing wedding at The Celtic Ross Hotel. The waterside setting is beautiful (Rosscarbery is such a hidden gem). The food was delicious and reflected local cuisine and producers. However, I think the best thing about the hotel, which all our guests commented on, was the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they all went out of their way to make our day special.

We had the most amazing day in the Celtic Ross Hotel, it went far beyond our hopes and dreams, from the day we made our first enquiry to our special day, everything we asked for was no effort, we were astounded by the number of people who commented on how impressed they were by the hotel, its food and location, all positive for us.

We had a fantastic wedding at the Celtic Ross and our guests were treated incredibly well. The setting is idyllic and the team is determined to ensure everything goes according to the couples requirements. The meal was fantastic and a little different from all the rest we looked at. We have wonderful memories and are very grateful to the Celtic Ross for making our day unforgettable.

We have lovely memories from our wedding day. I remember coming down the hill in the vintage car and Rosscarbery and the hotel was looking fabulous. The sun shone, people could have their drinks outside and the whole evening went perfectly. The hotel staff put us at ease from the beginning. Every detail was taken care of and nothing was too much trouble. We got married on the Friday but made a weekend of it and stayed in Rosscarbery until Monday before heading on honeymoon.
